Man Questioned over Kirkstall Church Child Sex Abuse Allegations

An allegation of child sex abuse at an Anglican church in the 1960s is being investigated by police.

West Yorkshire, UK, Police said a man reported that he had been abused at St Stephen's Church in Kirkstall, Leeds, when he was a child.

An 82-year-old man has been interviewed under caution after attending a police station voluntarily, the force said.

Det Con Phil Kirby has asked for anyone who could assist in the investigation to come forward.

Kirkstall is a suburb of Leeds, West Yorkshire, in north-central England.
