Two teenagers have been arrested in Sweden following an investigation into sexual offences against children in North Staffordshire, UK.
The boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested in Stockholm on Wednesday on suspicion of engaging in sexual activity with a child, Staffordshire Police said.
Both boys are due to be brought back to the UK for questioning.
Ch Supt Martin Evans said inquiries would continue into "a very sensitive and challenging crime".
The teenagers are understood to both be from the North Staffordshire area.
