Mixed Messages on Human Trafficking in USA

OBAMA DECLARES JANUARY ANTI-TRAFFICKING MONTH WHILE DEMOCRATS IN CALIFORNIA MAKE CHILD PROSTITUTION LEGAL
DR JOHN A KING

It is ironic that on the same day President Obama declares January Anti-Human Trafficking month that Californian Democrats rule that prostitution by minors is now legal.

In 2004, the State Department report on Human Trafficking detailed the clear link between human trafficking and prostitution.

National Human Trafficking Hotline states that an estimated 56% of prostituted men and women were initially trafficked youth. In 2013, 32% of all calls to their support hotline indicate that the victims calling were foreign nationals being trafficked for prostitution in the USA.

Dr. John A King is a SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT in the field of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation. His non-profit foundation, Give Them A Voice is actively involved in some of the largest human trafficking and sexual abuse cases in American history. All of these cases have hubs or centers of human trafficking based in California and Nevada.

works in the areas of Advocacy, Rehabilitation
and Rescue of abused and trafficked victims

When asked his opinion on these two events, Dr King Stated : “The decision by the California Democrats to legalize child prostitution allows criminals unimpeded revenue for trafficking. There is a belief, well meaning at that, that this will help the victims of sex trafficking come forward and seek help. Unfortunately this is not founded in reality.”

In a separate interview, Dr. King address the issue again, “Human trafficking is now the largest source of income for terror rings like ISIS and Book Haram. It is the income of choice for what were once drug cartels. You sell a gram of coke once, you can resell a child thousands of times. There is a total disconnect between legislature and the reality on the ground.”

Abused by his own parents and their friends from the age of 4 to 16, Dr. King has made it his mission to help those who suffer like he has. He is a best-selling author and advocate for survivors of child sexual abuse and sex trafficking who currently is being considered for positions with the Trump administration to deal with this growing area of concern.
