Eight more Pakistani men charged with historical child sex crimes in West Yorks

 

   Eight men charged with child sex offences




Eight men have been charged with sexual offences following an investigation into child sexual exploitation in Calderdale, police said.

West Yorkshire Police said the alleged offences were committed between 2006 and 2009

and involved a female victim then aged between 12 and 15.

Mohammed Adnan, Shebhan Mohammed Ahmed, Amazar Ali, Naveed Anjum, Imran 

Hussain, Khalid Kamran, Mohammed Faheem Mahmood and Adal Manaf have been 

charged with sexual offences.

The men will appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Mr Adnan, 42, from Halifax, is charged with one count of rape and two counts of sexual assault.

Mr Ahmed, 41, from Halifax, is charged with two counts of rape and Mr Hussain, 48, from Halifax, is charged with attempted rape.

Mr Ali, 52, from Huddersfield, is charged with two counts of sexual activity with a child.

Mr Anjum, 48, from Halifax, is charged with one count of sexual activity with a child.

Mr Kamran, 33, from Leeds and, Mr Manaf, 46, and Mr Mahmood, 39, both from Halifax, are each charged with one count of rape.
