Iran’s Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization conceals conviction of senior official who raped his own daughter
It didn’t seem to matter to the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran that Nasir Abedi, the former administrative and financial deputy of Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization, responsible for “purveying Islamic values,” raped and assaulted his own daughters (one under 12). What matters to the Islamic Republic of Iran was how it presents Islam to the world. Females mean little to nothing in Iran, a country where girls between 7 and 9 must begin veiling themselves as per the Qur’an.
And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only what is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment except to their own husbands or fathers or husbands’ fathers, or their sons or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack desire, or children who know nothing of women’s nakedness. And do not let them stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn to Allah together, O believers, so that you may succeed. (Quran 24:31)
If a woman does not cover, she is fair game to be assaulted….
O prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their veils close around them. That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not molested. Allah is always forgiving, merciful.” (Quran 33:59)
Mandatory veiling at such a young age in Iran is in keeping with Muhammad’s relationship with his youngest wife Aisha, whom he married when she was six and consummated the marriage when she was nine.
The Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that `Aisha remained with the Prophet for nine years (i.e. till his death). (Sahih al-Bukhari 5134)
Girls and women in Iran are virtually objects for males. The marriage age is 13 for girls, but if a male guardian (such as her father) permits a younger marriage, then the child must be married. This sickening violation of the rights of women and girls is exactly what Nasir Abedi took advantage of, and the body responsible for “purveying Islamic values” protected him.
In October, a regime prosecutor warned a “chastity and hijab working group” that “intensified hijab enforcement” is coming.
Western leftists don’t care about Iranian women and girls. They consider caring about victims of abuse committed in the name of Islam to be “Islamophobic.”
Iranian Islamic body hid official’s child rape conviction, source says
Iran International, December 1, 2025:
A state body in Iran tasked with purveying Islamic values concealed the conviction of a senior official for raping and sexually assaulting his young daughters, a source in the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization (IIDO) told Iran International.
Nasir Abedi, the former administrative and financial deputy of IIDO’s Tehran office, had been convicted of rape and sexual abuse of one daughter and assault against another, according to the source who requested anonymity for fear of retaliation.
Abedi, the source said, repeatedly assaulted one girl before she turned twelve, adding that a forensic examiner confirmed rape and the court upheld the findings.
But senior figures, the source added, intervened in the judicial process as the case progressed.
The charge relating to the second child was removed from the final verdict following internal pressure, leaving only one count of rape. The sentence of flogging “was never carried out because of outside interference,” the source told Iran International….
