The Perverted Lives of the Rich and Famous > Rosie O'Donnell's adopted daughter goes to jail for drugs, sexual assault, and violation of parole

In 1996, when I first heard that Rosie O'Donnell was adopting a baby, I couldn't help but wonder: Can anything good come out of this?

Rosie O’Donnell’s troubled daughter, Chelsea, sentenced to prison after violating parole in drug case

Rosie O’Donnell’s troubled daughter, Chelsea O’Donnell, has been sentenced to prison after violating her parole in her 2024 drug case.

A Wisconsin judge ordered Chelsea to serve time behind bars after revoking her probation on Oct. 22, Page Six confirmed.

Chelsea was in violation due to sexual assault allegations, (The paperwork did not provide any further details), an official from the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Team told Us Weekly, which was first to report the news.

The official also claimed Chelsea showed minimal advancement in the treatment drug program.

“The facts surrounding this request have been staffed with the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Team and have been deemed sufficient grounds to warrant termination from the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Program,” the filing stated, per Us Weekly.

It is unclear how long Chelsea has been sentenced to serve.

Following news of her sentencing, Rosie took to Instagram to ask for prayers “as she faces a scary future” while sharing a photo of Chelsea “before addiction took over her life.”

It is not clear how long Chelsea has been sentenced to serve.

Page Six has reached out to Wisconsin Assistant State Public Defender Gabrielle Beranek, the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Team and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Chelsea has had several run-ins with the law throughout the years. In fact, in 2024, she was arrested a total of three times.

In September 2024, the 28-year-old was detained regarding a domestic dispute involving her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund, at their home.

Last year, she was arrested three times.

One of the arrests took place after officers discovered a meth pipe allegedly left within her son’s reach.

However, according to police reports, officers discovered a meth pipe allegedly left within her son’s reach, “a black and silver digital scale, some used gem bags with white residue, and a sharps container that had more used and unused hypodermic needles.”

A month later, Chelsea was arrested again when she allegedly tried to throw a meth pipe out the window of her car after being pulled over at a traffic stop.

After the multiple arrests, Chelsea was sentenced to six years of probation.

The Perverted Lives of the Rich and Famous > Hollywood producer gets 146 years for rapes and murders

Hollywood producer David Pearce mocked for ‘LA vibe’ by judge before getting hit with 146-year sentence for rapes, twisted OD murders

LOS ANGELES — Monster producer David Pearce used his “LA vibe, slicked-back hair and duck lips” charm to drug and prey on nine young women over 15 years — and three of them are now dead, authorities revealed at his sentencing Wednesda

The wannabe Hollywood bigwig was handed 146 years in prison — the max — after he was convicted of murder earlier this year for drugging model Christy Giles, 24, and pal Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26 and leaving them to die after they overdosed on his fentanyl-laced cocaine following a night out in November 2021.

But that was only the end of his brutality, not the beginning. He was also convicted of raping seven women who came forward after his arrest — including a hero cop who was killed in the line of duty days before she would have confronted him in court. The attacks dated back to 2007.

“You’re the worst kind of criminal, Mr. Pearce,” LA County Superior Court Judge Eleanor Hunter raged from the bench, condemning the man as a smooth-talking seducer who had “the whole LA vibe thing going on” with his “duck lips” and “slicked back hair.”

He assaulted Lauren Craven in 2020. She went on to become a promising young police officer in La Mesa, CA — a career choice partly inspired by her horrifying encounter with Pearce, one prosecutor told the court.

Craven was struck and killed by a car last Monday while rushing to help victims trapped in a car that had flipped over on the highway; her heroic sacrifice made headlines even before she was identified as one of Pearce’s victims.

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize her courage for giving testimony,” said Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney Catherine Mariano.

Pearce was slapped with a stunning 146 years in prison for his crimes.

Craven’s fellow survivors ripped into the killer in court on Wednesday.

“He shattered my trust in the world around me. … For a long time I lived in constant fear,” one victim, identified as Jane Doe #7, told the court, weeping.

The attacks continued until he was arrested in the deaths of Giles and Cabrales-Arzola.

Pearce allegedly plied Giles, 24, with fentanyl-laced cocaine.

The Hollywood phoney, who introduced himself as a “nightlife promoter” and a movie producer but had almost no real credits to his name, met the young women at a rave party in Los Angeles.

He convinced them to go back to his place, where he allegedly served them deadly tainted cocaine and drugged wine.

Witness Michael Ansbach, who was also the apartment, said Pearce gave him a foul-tasting cocktail that made him feel dizzy, pass out and become violently ill when he woke up.

The women also passed out but never woke up, Ansbach testified.

Giles and her friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola (pictured) both passed out shortly after taking Pearce’s drugs.

He told jurors that when he begged Pearce to call 911, his pal refused, saying, “Dead girls don’t talk.”

Pearce then shoved the women into his Toyota Prius and dumped their lifeless bodies on the sidewalk in front of two different hospitals before making his escape.

He allegedly recruited a friend to help with the disposal: 42-year-old actor Brandt Osborn, who was charged with two counts of being an accessory after the fact.

Judge Hunter handed down the maximum sentence of 25 years to life for each murder, plus sentences of 15 years to life for six of the rapes, and six years for another.

“You’re charming, you’re smart, you’re a manipulator, and you’re extremely goal-driven. You fit the role,” Hunter said. “Not once have I seen a genuine issuance of some sort of remorse. No sense of compassion for Hilda and Christie or anyone else.”

Pearce’s attorneys painted the situation as a party gone wrong and accused the prosecution of twisting facts to fit a more sinister narrative. Even at his sentencing, he continued to claim he was innocent and that Giles and Cabrales-Arzola’s deaths were a tragic accident.

He also denied raping anyone.

But for Christy Giles’ mother, there was never any doubt that her daughter was murdered in cold blood.

“I believe David Pearce is a pure sociopath for his personal pleasure. Even his mother has apologized to me for being the person who raised a monster,” Dusty Giles told the court after the sentence was read.

The “shattered” mom said her daughter “wasn’t a junkie, some type of plaything for you to take home, then basically throw her out like garbage,” Giles said, describing Christy as “a pivotal part of the family union… so much life left to live.”

She said she hopes Pearce gets a taste of his own medicine in prison: “Let’s see how you like it.”

Mariano also read a letter from Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola’s mother, Dr. Hilda Marcela Arzola-Plascencia.

The mother said her daughter was “robbed of the opportunity to continue to follow her dreams.”

Her one comfort is that Hilda’s death “helped keep other women safe.”
