UPI -- More than 1,000 Danish children were charged for child pornography after they allegedly shared a "revenge porn" video of two 15-year-olds having sex., according to reports Monday.

The sex in the video was initially consensual. But a girl in the video was penetrated with foreign objects, which she said she did not consent to. She also said she did not consent to being recorded, The New York Times reported.

After the video was taken, it was spread via the Facebook messenger app, where some of the children shared it hundreds of times. The video was eventually flagged by Facebook and then sent to Danish authorities.

Eventually!!!?? After hundreds of sharings? Nice work, FB, so glad to see you are right on top of things.

The decision to charge more than 1,000 youths comes at a time when Denmark has been cracking down on kids engaging in "revenge porn" - the act of sharing intimate sexual material without the other person's consent for vengeful purposes.

"It is our opinion that young people understand the major consequences for the victims when they share this kind of material," Flemming Kjaerside, a police superintendent for Denmark's National Crime Center, told Deutsche Welle. "But they may not also understand that it is punishable and that they may be sentenced for distributing child pornography."

Although prison time is unlikely for the youths involved in this case, convictions could stay on their record for 10 years and perpetrators will be prohibited from working in a job involving children.

"This will ruin my life," 19-year-old Mira Bech told Danish television station, TV2. "It's the world's most ridiculous case. I couldn't tell that the people in the video were under 18."

But Emma Holten, who has campaigned against cyber-bullying, told The New York Times, they should have been aware of the consequences, both for themselves and the people in the video.

"Four years ago, I would have felt sorry for them," she said. "Back then you could have argued that they were not aware of that it was illegal, but today they know."

Former Perth Catholic school teacher on
historic child sex abuse charges
Staff writers | PerthNow

A FORMER teacher at two Perth Catholic colleges is facing historic child sex abuse charges dating back as far as 1979.

The 71-year-old man has been charged with four counts of aggravated indecent assault, three counts of indecent dealing of a child and one of indecently assaulting a man.

The allegations stem from the Royal Commission into institutional responses to child sexual offences.

The first offences allegedly occurred in 1979 when the man was a teacher at a Catholic school in Bedford. Police allege the man indecently assaulted a boy three times, twice when he was 13 years old and once when the boy had turned 14.

It is also alleged that between 1986 and 1987, the man sexually assaulted a boy who was 13 years old at the time of the first offence. The alleged assaults occurred when the man was a teacher at a Catholic College in Tuart Hill.

He will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The investigation is ongoing and detectives urge anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

However, they don't bother to give the name of the pervert! Good grief!

A Russian priest, father of four, has been found guilty of sexually abusing underage girls at Orthodox summer camps in Russia and Greece. He was sentenced to 14 years in a maximum security prison.

A court in the Leningrad region found Gleb Grozovsky, 38, guilty of molesting three underage girls. It has been reported that the court included the time he has already served since his arrest in 2014 in the sentence. In addition to his jail term, the priest will also have to pay each victim 400,000 rubles ($7,000) in moral damages.

An investigation found that Grozovsky had sexually abused a girl who was under 14 in 2011 at an Orthodox summer camp in Leningrad region. In 2013, he abused two girls in another Orthodox summer camp in Greece, the probe discovered.

Following the accusations, Grozovsky fled Russia in autumn 2013 and was charged in absentia. He was suspended from church service following the probe that year. Moscow also issued an international search warrant for him. The priest was finally detained in Israel, which extradited him to Russia in 2016.

Grozovsky has denied any wrongdoing, claiming that the incidents had never occurred. “I understand the sentence and will file an appeal. This is not the end, you will see the situation change,” he said, responding to the court’s decision. He has 10 days to file an appeal.

The priest has already spoken of his plans in the event of his appeal being rejected. He revealed that he would write a book while in jail. “God helps those people to go through difficulties, whom he loves and chooses. Only those who were behind bars wrote normal books,” he said.

The Russian Orthodox Church refused to comment on the court verdict until the sentence comes into force. The diocese of Gatchina in Leningrad region where Grozovsky served will not defrock him at this stage, as he has yet to file an appeal.

German  police arrest man of suspicion
of child sex tourism
The Associated Press

BERLIN — German police have arrested a 52-year-old man on suspicion that he planned to travel to the Philippines to sexually abuse children.

Prosecutors say the German man had used an online messaging service to communicate with Filipino citizens and offer to pay them to procure the children, aged nine to 12. The man is also suspected of obtaining more than 1,900 images of child sex abuse.

Frankfurt prosecutors said in a statement Wednesday that the man’s arrest Tuesday followed a tip from the FBI.

The man, whose name wasn’t released, had previously lived in the Philippines for several years.

Brave child sex abuse victim fell from cliff to her death after heavy drinking session

One Non-Survivor's Story

Questions remain over whether a woman who bravely brought her stepfather to justice for abusing her as a child had intended to take her own life when she fell from a cliff in Cornwall.

The body of Leyna Ann Tucker was found in the sea at the base of cliffs between Porthleven and Loe Bar in May last year.

An inquest in Truro into her death heard that the 47-year-old, of Gibson Way, Porthleven, had gone missing after a night out with friends in Helston on May 12. Mrs Tucker’s car was found wedged on top of a Cornish hedge at the car park on Loe Bar Road the following morning.

Her mobile phone showed she had sent two text messages in which she said she was going to take her life by driving her car off the cliff.

However the inquest heard she was found to have been very drunk at the time as tests revealed she was nearly six times over the legal drink driving limit when she died. The coroner concluded that the amount of alcohol in her system would have had a serious effect on her judgement.

In 2015, Mrs Tucker’s stepfather Andrew Fulcher was jailed for four years for molesting her when she was aged between 11 and 13. It was after the death of her mother that Mrs Tucker came forward and reported the abuse.

She waived her automatic legal anonymity to talk about the abuse and offer support to other victims.

In a statement, her husband John Tucker said the couple had married in 2006 and moved to back to his home in Cornwall from Bournemouth.

He said: “The abuse and subsequent court hearings took all her strength and it hit her really hard. Her life appeared to be on the up. I can’t understand what would have made her do such a thing (suicide) and I feel I’ll never come to terms with her death.”

He said his wife struggled for years to cope with the abuse she received as a child and she admitted she was drinking too much alcohol. He added that she had cut back in recent years but was still prone to binge-drinking at times. She also took painkillers for back pain.

He said she had worked behind the bar at the Seven Stars pub and former Merchant’s Bar in Helston as well as the Queen’s Arms in Breage. Latterly, she had been employed as a carer in the Helston and Lizard areas and had been enjoying her latest job at the Porthgwara Nursing Home in Coverack.

Detective Constable Martin Hearn told the inquest that Mrs Tucker had been with friends on a night out in Helston on May 12. She stayed at her friend’s house and no-one had any idea that anything was wrong. But when her friend awoke at 5.20am on May 13, Mrs Tucker was missing.

DC Hearn said her Ford Focus car was found stuck on a Cornish hedge in front of the cliffs at Porthleven at 6.50am by a member of the public, prompting a search of the coastline by coastguards and an RNLI lifeboat.

The hearing was told her body was discovered by the lifeboat crew at 8am and that she had died as a result of multiple injuries from falling from the cliff.

DC Hearn added: “It looks like on her phone she made two messages, one to a friend and the other to her husband. In both she gave the indication she was going to attempt to drive off the cliff.”

I don't know if Leyna got any psychological counselling after reporting her father. If she did, it wasn't enough. Survivors need help and lots of it.

AB Apuron denies latest sex abuse allegation
from his own nephew
Mindy Aguon | The Guam Daily Post

APURON: The image on the left is believed to be a photo of suspended Archbishop Anthony Apuron in Fairfield, California, taken in January last year by a private investigator working for some of the plaintiffs in the child sex abuse cases against Apuron. The photo on the right shows Apuron when he was still leading the Archdiocese of Agana. Post files

Suspended Guam Archbishop Anthony Apuron this morning issued a statement denying all allegations of sexual abuse, including the most recent made by his nephew, Mark Apuron.

In an email statement sent Dr. Ricardo Eusebio to distribute to media, Apuron stated, "As I lay sick after another surgery and I face the final judgment approaching evermore close, having lost interest in this world, God is my witness: I deny all allegations of sexual abuse made against me, including this last one."

Apuron said the allegations of sexual abuse are helping him direct his hope toward the "only righteous judge" and expressed sadness by the timing of the latest accusation that he said "alleges an act which supposedly happened in incredible circumstances and surroundings."

The former head of the island's Catholic Church contends the allegations of sexual abuse against him have been "mentored and promoted by the same source," but the statement does not specify if that source is Attorney David Lujan, who represents the five clients who filed lawsuits against Apuron.

Roy Quintanilla, Roland Sondia, Walter Denton, the late Joseph "Sonny" Quinata, and Mark Apuron have alleged they were sexually abused by Anthony Apuron.

The statement by Archbishop Apuron said the most recent case, filed by his nephew who alleges he was raped by his uncle who was already archbishop at the Chancery, "seems particularly timed to influence the verdict of the Vatican trial conducted by the Holy See, as a last resort out of fear that I may be exonerated."

Archbishop Apuron said the Catholic Church on Guam is being destroyed by people "who only have their power agenda at heart" and said he hopes God will have mercy and save the Church from the powers of darkness.

He concluded, "I pray that the truth may prevail; I pray for my accusers: fill them with what they desire; as for me, when I awake, I will be satisfied with Your face, oh Lord."

Apuron was last seen in Fairfield, California last year, near San Francisco.
