A former elementary school staffer already accused by Wisconsin authorities of sexually assaulting a child is facing additional criminal charges after investigators identified more alleged victims.
Anna-Marie Crocker, 33, was charged in an amended criminal complaint filed on Nov. 1 in Kenosha County Circuit Court with exposing genitals, exposing a child to harmful material, child enticement and exposing a child to harmful descriptions, per the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office.
The charges come less than a month after Crocker, who worked at Riverview Elementary School in Silver Lake, Wis., was charged with first-degree child sexual assault - sexual intercourse with a child under age 13, possession of child pornography, and sexual exploitation of a child - filming, according to the initial criminal complaint filed on Oct. 14 in Kenosha County Circuit Court and shared by prosecutors.
It’s unclear if Crocker has entered pleas and PEOPLE couldn’t immediately identify an attorney who could speak on her behalf. Jail records show she is being held on a $500,000 bond.
The alleged victims related to Crocker’s initial case were current and former students of the elementary school, the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement last month. Authorities added that the alleged misconduct did not occur during school hours or on school property.
According to the criminal complaint, a sheriff’s deputy was called to a home in Twin Lakes, Wis., on Oct. 8, where the caller claimed his 13-year-old son was “forced to have sex with the mother of his friend.”
The 13-year-old alleged the sexual assault happened in the winter time when he was at Crocker’s house for a sleepover with some friends, per the complaint. The boy claimed he was asleep on the couch in the basement when Crocker, who was naked, woke him up and removed his pants before sexually assaulting him, the complaint states.
The boy, who was 12 years old at the time, said the sexual encounter was non-consensual, according to the complaint. He also allegedly told investigators that he repeatedly told Crocker to get off and tried to push her off, but she wouldn’t listen, the complaint states.
The boy said Crocker texted him months after the alleged incident trying to apologize for what happened in the basement and described her as “trying to make him feel guilty,” per the complaint.
Authorities further alleged in the complaint that Crocker had been “exchanging sexual chats and pictures” through Snapchat with a different child. The alleged victim reported it to a school resource officer on Oct. 9.
The child also claimed that Crocker sexually assaulted him in a parking lot in August, according to the complaint. Crocker allegedly admitted to receiving a sexual video from the boy and saving it, authorities said in the complaint.
The new allegations in the amended complaint accuse Crocker of having sexually inappropriate conversations with two other boys through Snapchat. On Oct. 10, Twin Lakes police spoke with a boy who told a school staff member that Crocker sent him “weird” messages, including videos of herself masturbating with a sex toy and sexual pictures.
The alleged victim said the pair talked for about two weeks and that he eventually blocked Crocker after she said she “liked” that he was 13-years-old, per the complaint. The complaint states the boy said he became “scared” because of what allegedly happened to his friend, who claimed Crocker raped him.
Authorities searched Crocker's cell phone and found several videos and photos that looked like the ones the boy described, the complaint states. During that search, investigators claimed they also found a conversation between Crocker and another boy she added on Snapchat on Oct. 9 after “seeing him on the homecoming float for his high school,” per the complaint.
Crocker allegedly asked the boy if he wanted to have sex with her and the two planned to meet at her house on Oct. 11, according to the complaint. The boy claimed he and Crocker exchanged messages in which “sex was inferred” but that he “never went through with it,” the complaint states.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department previously said Crocker was a staff member at Riverview Elementary School. According to local station WITI, the school district’s website stated that Crocker began working as a substitute in 2020 and became a full-time teacher’s aide the next year.
WITI and WISN report that Crocker was fired by the school board following a special meeting on Oct. 14. As of Nov. 7, a staff page for Crocker cannot be found on the school district’s website.

Long Island Child Therapist Accused of Producing
'Heinous' Sex Abuse Material, Posing as Man
Renee Hoberman was charged with distributing "disturbing" videos depicting infants on social media, according to the Justice Department
Content warning: The following article contains disturbing allegations of sexual violence against children.
A children’s therapist from Long Island, N.Y., was arrested and charged with distributing child pornography, the U.S. Justice Department announced last week.
The DOJ announced on Wednesday, Oct. 23, that Renee Hoberman was arraigned on the charges, which stemmed from an investigation into child sex abuse videos she allegedly shared and discussed on social media over a five-month period earlier in 2024.Hoberman, 36, allegedly used social media to upload videos of infant children engaging in sexually explicit acts between June and October of this year, according to the legal complaint brought against her, the DOJ said.
The DOJ alleges Hoberman’s posts include videos of infants being raped by an adult man. According to the Justice Department’s complaint, Hobreman had also posed as a man online and chatted with other social media users about sexually abusing young children.
Hoberman allegedly sent videos showing the sexual acts taking place against infants and claimed the young children in the videos were “his” own children, bragging about punishing the kids with sexual violence, according to the complaint filed by the Justice Department.
“As alleged, Hoberman distributed heinous and disturbing child pornography," United States Attorney Breon Peace of the Eastern District of New York said in the DOJ statement. “Our investigation into Hoberman is ongoing, and we urge anyone with information to contact HSI’s tip line. Together with our law enforcement partners, we will relentlessly pursue predators who victimize children and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.”
Hoberman, who is also known as “Rina” Hoberman, was employed as a therapist with an organization based in Melville, N.Y., and worked with children between the ages of 0 to 17 years old, according to the DOJ.
Local ABC 7 reported that authorities searched Hoberman’s home in Plainview, N.Y., after charges were announced against her last week.
"It's upsetting. Half our block are kids and they're all great kids, so hearing something like that, you never know what's going on behind closed doors and stuff like that," neighbor Nick Randisi told the outlet.
Local News 12 in Connecticut reported that LifeStance Health, where Hoberman had been employed, said in a statement that it “immediately terminated” her after learning about the charges.
“Renee Hoberman worked in a trusted position as a therapist with children, making the allegations against her for the possession and distribution of incredibly dark and depraved child sexual abuse materials even more disturbing,” U.S. Special Agent in Charge William S. Walker for Homeland Security Investigations in New York said in a statement. “HSI is working around the clock with our partners to identify and investigate those who possess and distribute child sexual abuse imagery.”
