Almost 1,500 Underage Refugees Arrived in Germany Married, 1/4 Under 14

This is an example of Islamization changing European culture. Assimilation is happening here,
but it's the Europeans who are being assimilated into the backward, dark ages culture of Islam.

Some 1,475 minor refugees, mostly girls, have arrived in Germany already married, the majority of whom come from Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq, an official report cited by German media says. Almost one in four are reportedly less than 14 years old.

The question is, what can be done? You can separate the married couples but that would leave 12 and 13 year old girls on their own and extremely vulnerable to abuse and exploitation. Then there is the matter that some of these young girls will be pregnant or have already given birth. At the very least they should be forced to go to school, but that would require day care centres for any babies, another unwanted and unplanned-for expense.

It's a very difficult situation, one that should have been anticipated and prepared for before Germany's refugee tsunami.

The numbers from the government migration office were released in the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung (WAZ) newspaper on Friday.

According to data collected in July of this year, some 1,475 refugee minors were recorded by the migration office as married. The usual minimum age for marriage in Germany is 18, but an exception can be made for 16-year-old children if they have their parents’ permission.

The majority of married minors arrived from Syria (664), Afghanistan (157), Iraq (100), Bulgaria (65), Poland (41), Romania (33), and Greece (32), the report says. Girls make up the majority – at least 1,152.

The document states that 994 minors are between 16 and 18 years of age, while 361 are under 14 years old.

Only 26 of the children have permanent residence permits, while some 516 minors have temporary residence permits, the report adds.

The problem of underage migrants arriving married in Germany not new. In June, the state of Bavaria confirmed that there were 550 brides aged under 18, and 161 under 16, living among asylum seekers that arrived in the recent migrant wave.

A government report from 2012 revealed that more than half of all Muslim marriages in Germany involve a bride under 18.

More than one million refugees moved to Germany in 2015 under Chancellor Angela Merkel’s open door policy, and the country is expecting an estimated 300,000 new refugees this year.

Germany isn’t the only European country with “child brides” issues. In February of this year, similar cases were also reported in Norway, where at least 61 minors, several under the age of sexual consent, were married at the time they applied for asylum in Norway, according to government figures for 2015. It was later revealed that child brides were being allowed to stay with their older husbands in Norwegian asylum centers.

Dozens of young female asylum seekers were also discovered living with older men in Danish refugee centers and, in March of this year, at least 70 married girls under the age of 18 were found in asylum centers in Sweden, including in major cities like Stockholm and Malmo.

At least 2,000 men sexually harassed women on New Year’s Eve across Germany, but it will be impossible to track them all down, police said, adding that the attacks have been linked to mass migration.

Police said there were cases involving over 1,200 women, adding that apart from Cologne, sexual harassment was reported in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and other cities across Germany.

The report from the Federal Office of Criminal Investigations (BKA) was seen by Germany's Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper and broadcasters NDR and WDR.

According to the report, at least 642 crimes of a purely sexual nature were reported in Germany. Plus, police registered 239 other “combined crimes” that involved both sexual assault and theft.

Of the 2,000 alleged attackers, only 120 have been identified so far, according to police reports. Many of the attacks were carried out in large groups.

“We need to assume that many of the perpetrators will not be investigated,” BKA President Holger Münch said, as cited by the paper.

According to police estimates, most of the identified offenders came from North Africa and over a half of the attackers had spent less than a year in Germany.

"In this respect, there is a connection between the occurrence of the phenomenon and the strong levels of immigration in 2015," Münch said, adding that there was no evidence the attacks had been somehow organized.

Not being organized means that this is a way of life for many Muslim men. Changing that mind-set is not going to be easy. Germany has changed because of the threat of sexual violence against girls and women, and that change is directly related to the migration of Muslims. It will only get worse before it gets better, if it gets better.

Cologne was the city where the majority of women were sexually abused - some 650, followed by Hamburg where over 400 women suffered, a police report said.

Since January 2016, the scandal of asylum seekers reportedly sexually harassing local women has been gathering momentum. Many of the victims, apart from being sexually harassed, said they were robbed.

In April, the latest report by the local branch of the German Interior Ministry said that almost all the suspects involved in the Cologne New Year attacks were from outside Germany, and two-thirds of them came from Morocco or Algeria.

In June, two men were found guilty of sexual assault on New Year’s Eve in Cologne and were given probationary sentences. The court said it was evident that one man, named as Hussein A., kissed a young woman against her will. Another man, an Algerian national, was a part of a group that sexually harassed women.

German media reported that two more men were found guilty of sexual assault charges in Düsseldorf and Nürtingen.

An overwhelming 1.1 million asylum seekers came to the country in 2015, and Germans are concerned about the future: 81 percent of the country’s citizens say the migrant crisis is “out of control” under Chancellor Angela Merkel’s authority, according to a February poll.

The Turkish refugee camp praised by Angela Merkel has become engulfed in a sex abuse scandal following reports that Syrian children as young as eight were raped there by a camp employee. 

A cleaner at the state-run Nizip camp in southern Turkey has been accused of sexually abusing 30 boys aged eight to twelve. The man, named as E.E. in court documents, is said to have paid the children between 1.50 and 5 Turkish lira (£0.35-£1.20) after allegedly raping them in the camp’s toilets.

Nizip, a tidy container city housing 14,000 Syrians, was the camp Turkey chose to show off its humanitarian efforts to Mrs Merkel last month.

During her visit on 23 April, a bank holiday celebrated in Turkey as Children’s Day, the German Chancellor was presented with flowers by a group of Syrian girls before touring the camp.

Camp security prevented the press from speaking to any refugees other than those hand-picked to greet Mrs Merkel.

In a subsequent press conference she heaped praise on Turkey’s response to the refugee crisis, saying she was “very impressed” by what she had seen in Nizip.

The European Council’s president Donald Tusk, who accompanied Mrs Merkel, concurred, calling Turkey the “best example in the world of how to treat refugees”.

A military official at the camp told BirGün, the Turkish newspaper that made the abuse allegations public today, that the Turkish government’s disaster management authority AFAD, which runs Nizip camp, should be held responsible for the abuse.

In a statement, AFAD said that measures had been put in place to prevent such abuse from happening in the future, adding that the victims were being given psychological support.

When military officials discovered the abuse on the camp’s security footage, only eight of the boys’ families decided to press charges. The others, BirGün reports, feared that they could be deported back to Syria if they complained.

The alleged abuse took place over three months before the suspect was arrested in September last year. In his court testimony, E.E. pleaded guilty to sexually abusing the boys but blamed the children for “inciting him”. The case continues.

Turkey is still reeling from an abuse scandal uncovered in March in the central Anatolian province of Karaman, where a teacher was accused of abusing his students in guesthouses run by Islamic organisations.

One of them, the Ensar Foundation, has close links to the Turkish government, sparking angry accusations of a cover-up when a proposed bill to investigate child abuse in Turkey was vetoed by the ruling party.

German prosecutors have rubbished as ‘total nonsense’ reports that only three of the 73 suspects in the Cologne New Year’s Eve mass attacks were migrants.

Cologne prosecutor Ulrich Bremer said most of those accused in a series of robberies and sexual assaults were in fact refugees.

Mr Bremer said ‘the overwhelming majority of persons fall into the general category of refugees.’

He said 73 suspects have so far been identified, of whom 12 are linked to sex attacks.

Some entered Germany saying they wanted to apply for asylum, while others have formally filed an application.

Among the 15 suspects who are in custody is a Moroccan asylum-seeker who entered Germany in November.

A total of 1,075 criminal complaints have been filed, including 467 alleging crimes of a sexual nature ranging from insults to rape.

Police are also dealing with nearly 700 reported crimes during the week-long carnival in Cologne earlier this month, with more than 400 people taken into custody.

There were around 45 reports of sexual assaults, including one which sparked a fight after a migrant was accused of groping a 19-year-old woman.

More than a dozen people became involved in the brawl after the 36-year-old North African man allegedly grabbed the woman’s bottom.

Three people were treated in hospital and the migrant was arrested and charged with bodily harm.

One witness said one of those involved drew a knife.

Police said the number of sexual offence complaints almost quadrupled at this year’s carnival despite heightened security.

A total of 66 complaints for sexual insults or aggression have been lodged compared to 18 such reports the previous year.

More than 2,000 officers had been deployed for the event, which attracted a million visitors.

The migrant crisis was reflected in the carnival floats with one featuring a caricature of Chancellor Angela Merkel in front of her signature quote ‘We will manage it’ and the words ‘tough nuts’.

At her side was a basket of nuts labelled ‘refugees’.

Mrs Merkel’s popularity has slumped after being accused of mishandling the crisis.

She has been criticised for her open-door approach that saw more than a million people claim asylum there last year.

Despite heightened security, 143 incidents, including 22 sexual assaults have been reported during the first night of the annual Carnival in Cologne. Up to 2,000 police officers were on alert during the celebrations, twice the number deployed last year.

Of the 22 sexual assaults, two reported on Friday were called “serious,” according to the DPA news agency. Among the two victims was a Belgian female journalist, who was groped while reporting. The second victim was attacked on her way home and apparently raped, police said. 11 policemen were slightly injured defending themselves.

In addition to incidents of bodily harm, 30 thefts were also reported at the festival.

The number of sexual offences more than doubled compared to the Carnival in 2015, police said. During last year’s carnival only nine sex crimes were reported.

The rise in the number of sexual complaints might be attributed to the women’s “willingness” to report incidents, Michael Temme Cologne's police director said. He explained the rise may have been influenced by the sexual assaults reported in Cologne at New Year’s Eve, when hundreds of women were harassed.

"I don't want to play that down, but that shows that the willingness of women to report has changed," Michael Temme Cologne's police director said as quoted by Deutche Welle.

The sexual assaults in Cologne sparked wariness in Europe and resulted in even greater anti-migrant sentiment after it emerged that most suspects were men of Arab or North African origin. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has recently started to change her pro-refugee rhetoric and said that asylum seekers are expected to return home once conflicts in their homelands are resolved.
