More than a hundred new sexual assault allegations have been made against Sean “Diddy” Combs, with a Texas lawyer revealing he’s representing 120 accusers who have shared dozens of new, shocking claims.

Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee held a press conference Tuesday, saying “we will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates.”

“Many powerful people … many dirty secrets,” the lawyer said of the allegations, per NBC News. He said his team has “collected pictures, video, texts,” and that the list of names collected “will shock you.”

On Friday, Buzbee’s law firm announced it is representing more than 50 accusers who approached them with “gut-wrenching” stories from what they witnessed at the rapper’s alleged “freak off” parties.

He described the allegations as “mindboggling” [sic] and “debauchery and depravity, exacted by powerful people against minors and the weak.”

He also wrote that he expects many other people to be implicated as the case and other lawsuits grow and move through the court system.

By Tuesday, the number of people taken on by Buzbee Law Firm and the AVA Law Group had more than doubled, Buzbee said. He also said that more than 3,000 people have contacted his office with accusations against Combs and that they will be filing lawsuits in various states.

“I ask that we treat these brave individuals with the dignity and compassion that they deserve as they go through this trying time,” he said during Tuesday’s press conference. “Further, I’m also asking that if you have been victimized, or are a witness to the alleged behaviour, please come forward. Your identify will remain confidential at this time.”

“The biggest secret in the entertainment industry, that really wasn’t a secret at all, has finally been revealed to the world,” Buzbee said. “The wall of silence has now been broken.”

Buzbee said that 62 per cent of this new group of accusers identify as African American, are split equally between men and women and that the youngest was nine years old at the time of occurrence. He added that 25 of the current accusers were minors at the time of the incidents, which date back to as early as 1991.

Following the news conference in Texas, an lawyer for Combs said the performer “cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.”

“That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors,” attorney Erica Wolff said in a statement to The Associated Press. “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

Tuesday’s announcement is the latest in a growing mountain of lawsuits against the disgraced musician.

Last week it was announced that another woman had sued Combs, alleging the music mogul and his head of security raped her and recorded it on video at his New York recording studio in 2001. The news came one week after he was arrested and a federal sex trafficking indictment against him was unsealed.

According to the indictment, Combs’ “freak offs” often involved narcotic drugs including ketamine, ecstasy and GHB. U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams said the drugs were used to keep victims “obedient and compliant.”

The alleged “freak offs” were often so physically demanding that Combs apparently stocked IV treatments for those who needed to recover. The music mogul was arrested on Sept. 16 on racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution charges.

Combs remains jailed in New York after being denied bail twice. He pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. His lawyer said he is innocent and will fight to clear his name.

The first lawsuit was filed by Combs’ former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, last November. Ventura said she endured years of sexual, physical and emotional abuse at the hands of Combs.

Keith Hayward's premise is worth reading if only for documenting the fact that people, in general, are much less mature than were people from the 1960s. One thing is for sure, there is a maturity deficit in the 2020s. 

This is a phenomena that I have been watching for 50 years. Hayward's conclusions are that society is to blame is extreme overthinking. The blame is so simple and obvious for anyone who cares to look - marijuana!

An older boss was correcting a younger female employee. “There is no P in ‘hamster’,” said the boss. But “that’s how I spell it,” the 20-something objected. The boss suggested they consult a dictionary. The employee called her mother, put her on speakerphone and tearfully insisted that she tell her boss not to be so mean.

It is an arresting vignette. The tearful employee appears to have imbibed the notion of “my truth”, a popular phrase intended to rationalise the speaker’s beliefs and shield them from criticism based on facts. You may say that 1+1=2, but “my truth” is that it makes three. Post-modernists deem this way of thinking sophisticated. Keith Hayward calls it childish. He is right.

But Mr Hayward, a criminologist at the University of Copenhagen, goes much further. In “Infantilised”, he contends that young people today are less mature than previous generations, and that Western culture is to blame. He offers plenty of examples of “kidulting” to reinforce his case. Some people like to recreate their childhood pleasures by dressing up as “My Little Pony” and buying tickets to places where they can jump into ball pits and do pillow-fights. Some carry on pursuing teenage kicks in nightclubs well into early middle age.

Over many years as a lecturer, Mr Hayward grew concerned that his 18-year-old students “resembled less mature teenagers on the cusp of adulthood and more fearful schoolchildren adrift in an alien world of adult autonomy”. One arrived in class dressed in a onesie, noting that it was cold and he liked to feel comfortable. Was he not “concerned about the infantilising overtones of such a garment?” asked Mr Hayward. “No, I want to be treated like a kid,” came the reply. “Adulting is hard.”

Here the author produces his most solid evidence, though it will be familiar to many readers. In rich countries there has been a dramatic fall in the share of people who, by the age of 30, have attained the traditional markers of adulthood: leaving home, becoming financially independent, getting married, having a child. In Britain, the median age for a first (heterosexual) marriage, at 33 for men and 31 for women, is a decade higher than it was in the early 1960s. In 2016 a Pew study found that for the first time in 130 years, American 18-34-year-olds were more likely to be living with their parents than with a partner in a separate abode.

Pop culture, Mr Hayward believes, is infantilising people. Modern cinema celebrates immaturity. From the unreconstructed man-children of “School of Rock” and “Ted” (which stars a beer-drinking teddy bear) to the endless “Batman” and “Spider-Man” remakes, “a visit to the movies these days feels more like a trip to a toy shop”. Reality TV shows “normalise infantilism” by making “40- and 50-year old celebrities dress up as toy cars, children’s bears and dinosaurs”. Many advertisements are an “assault on mature adulthood”. The Milky Bar Kid has been portrayed by actors of all ages. Evian water’s “live young” campaign featured adults in T-shirts that showed baby torsos beneath their necks.

The education system deserves some blame, too. Students are shielded from potentially upsetting ideas: the University of Aberdeen in Scotland put a trigger warning on “Peter Pan”, saying that students might find the “odd perspectives on gender” in the book “emotionally challenging”. Schoolchildren are told things that are manifestly untrue, such as “You can be anything you want to be.” History, sociology and philosophy are compressed into a “childhood morality tale” of the “privileged” and the “oppressed”. Schools and universities used to teach “the uncontroversial idea that [students] will need to adjust their behaviour and adapt to the world if they are to function effectively within it”. No more.

Finally, Mr Hayward chides the liberal commentariat. On the one hand, they celebrated Greta Thunberg, a former schoolgirl activist, as an “all-knowing sage”, despite her possessing “no scientific expertise” and saying “nothing original whatsoever about climate issues”. This, he claims, is evidence of “a role reversal in which young people are increasingly assigned the intellectual gravitas and cultural authority to educate adults”.

On the other hand, when Shamima Begum, a British schoolgirl roughly the same age as Ms Thunberg, went off to join the mass-murdering, mass-raping Islamic State, the same liberal pundits decried the British government’s decision not to allow her back into Britain to face justice, presenting her “as a duped child…far too young and naive to know her own mind, and therefore not responsible for her subsequent actions”. “When society acts in such a hypocritical fashion, adultfiying on the one hand and infantilising on the other, it is playing a dangerous and duplicitous game,” thunders Mr Hayward.

Maybe so. But the main liberal argument for allowing Ms Begum to return home is that it is against international law to make someone stateless. If it were not, countries could dump all their criminals on foreign shores and refuse to take them back. Mr Hayward does not mention this.

There are some nuggets in this book. This reviewer was intrigued to learn that, according to the “fabulously named” Immorality Lab at the University of British Columbia, those who regularly signal victimhood are more prone to lying and cheating for selfish ends, a habit people are supposed to grow out of. And it can’t hurt to remind American voters of Donald Trump’s reported schoolyard hissy-fit when his vice-president refused to help him try to overturn the results of the election he lost in 2020: “I don’t want to be your friend anymore if you don’t do this!”

But Mr Hayward’s argument has two flaws. One is that it is so grumpy. Why shouldn’t adults dress up as comic-book characters, if they enjoy it? What is wrong with liking the “Wallace and Gromit” animated films? Being grown-up means taking responsibility for your actions; it does not mean only ever seeking fun in highbrow places.

The second, bigger flaw is that Mr Hayward glosses over more compelling explanations for the supposed surge of “infantilism” he decries. Perhaps there is more memorable evidence of adults behaving childishly these days because everyone has a camera and posts amusing clips to social media. The idiotic things that the Boomers and Generation X did in their 20s are nearly all forgotten, thank heaven. The silliest antics of the silliest members of Gen Z tend to go viral.

And perhaps the reason why young people are finding jobs and having children later in life than earlier generations is that they are remaining longer in education. A whopping 40% of Americans aged 25 and over now have college degrees, up from 8% in 1960. This is a huge change, and usually considered a good thing, even if some degrees are costly and pointless. Those who are still studying at 25 are unlikely to be financially independent, and may therefore hesitate to have children. This is not childish; it is wise.

Other writers, such as Jonathan Haidt and Jean Twenge, have compiled interesting and sometimes troubling research about the young, from their apparently high levels of mental anguish to their threadbare support for free speech. But to dismiss a whole generation as big babies seems like name-calling.

In an abandoned brewery building in Iserlohn, North-Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, a gang of four, or possibly as many as six, Iranians — apparently some of them had acquired Danish and the others Dutch citizenship – decided to teach another Iranian a lesson. For that Iranian, who had fled from Iran to Germany, where he had been properly admitted as an “asylum seeker,” was an opponent of the regime in Tehran, whereas his four (or six) tormenters were its fanatical supporters. Of course, in applying for admission — some to Denmark and the rest to the Netherlands — all of the Iranians in the group had falsely described themselves as “asylum seekers” who were fleeing persecution, and possibly worse, in Iran. In fact, they were simply economic migrants, seeking to take advantage of all the welfare benefits — free or subsidized housing, free medical care, free education, unemployment payments (even without a work history), family allowances, and more — that Denmark and the Netherlands, like all the countries of Western Europe, so generously provide.

The Iranian who was subject to the torture and anal rape had no doubt assumed that since the others had, like him, left Iran, they, too, must be disaffected with the regime, and he made the mistake of letting his guard down and making his political beliefs known to them. At which point, a purely verbal political dispute turned into something much more physical and dangerous. More on this horrific tale can be found here:

Men with roots in Iran are said to have sexually abused and humiliated a refugee from their own country. The motive is still unclear. But there is a video of the crime.

Perhaps there is no more motive than that they are gay and rapists?  

Several men are said to have sexually abused and humiliated a refugee from Iran. According to the public prosecutor’s office, the exact identities of the suspects have not yet been fully clarified on Thursday, as FOCUS Online learned upon request.

The perpetrators are said to be men of Iranian origin with Danish and Dutch citizenship, reports the “Rheinische Post.” “As of today, two of the four suspects’ identities have been established with certainty,” said Michael Burggraf, spokesman for the Hagen public prosecutor’s office, to FOCUS online. The “Rheinische Post” had reported that the suspected perpetrators had no passports with them when they were arrested.

Two men are still being sought. For tactical reasons, no information on the status of the search could be provided, said Burggraf.

What happened?

The six men are said to have attacked, tied up and gang-raped a 30-year-old refugee in an empty brewery building in Iserlohn on the night of Monday.

After walkers near the brewery heard cries for help, they called the police. The search with the help of a police helicopter quickly proved successful. Four men aged 24, 34, 42 and 46 were arrested in a nearby forest shortly after the crime and have been in custody since Monday.

Suspects film abuse

The investigators are said to have a cell phone video of the crime. It was found on one of the suspect’s confiscated cell phones and shows the course of events as the victim described it, said the spokesman for the Hagen public prosecutor’s office after the crime.

The “Bild” newspaper had previously reported that the suspects had filmed the rape with their cell phones.

Possible motive still unclear

The investigators explained that the crime was apparently aimed at the sexual humiliation of the victim. The public prosecutor’s office did not want to comment on a possible motive, in particular a political motivation.

There was certainly a “political motivation” to this attack. But it was not the usual attack by Muslims on non-Muslims in Europe. Both the four (and possibly as many as six) perpetrators and the victim were Muslim Iranians. It was an attack, rather, by supporters of the Iranian regime on one of its opponents.

According to Burggraf, the suspects in custody have not yet made any statements.

Political motive not ruled out

As FOCUS online learned, the suspected perpetrators are Iranians loyal to the regime who had gotten into a political dispute with the victim before the crime. “Spiegel” was the first to report this. The rape victim was an opponent of the Mullah regime, and “according to current knowledge, the victim was primarily meant to be humiliated,” the public prosecutor’s office told the paper.

They had previously been arguing; there had been a “political dispute with the victim before the crime.” Finally, tired of arguing, the four stout defenders of the Iranian theocracy, no longer interested in trying to change their interlocutor’s mind, decided to end the dispute by dragging him to an abandoned building and torturing him, in precisely the ways — such as anal rape — that any self-respecting Iranian male would find most humiliating. As for the other forms of torture inflicted in the same horrific session, the report in Der Spiegel does not describe them.

Muslims have brought their quarrels to Europe. Kurds fight Turks on the streets of Berlin. Algerians fight Moroccans in Marseille. Muslims on both sides of the civil wars in Syria and Libya duke it out in Italian coastal cities. But nothing has so far risen to the highest level of violence as this torture and rape of one Iranian opponent of the regime by four of its supporters. Which brings us to the obvious question: these four Iranians were never true “asylum seekers.” They were not persecuted in Iran; they supported the regime. After they serve their sentences for this crime in Germany, they must not be allowed to renew their prewar lives in Germany, but should immediately be returned to Denmark and Netherlands, the two countries where they are now citizens. Both countries should open investigations into the Iranians’ original claims of being “asylum seekers” fleeing political persecution in Iran. Let the immigration judges in both countries reverse the previous, mistaken determination that these Iranians were true “asylum seekers,” strip them of their citizenship, and send them packing back to Iran.

FRANCE 24 spoke to Marzieh Hamidi, a former taekwondo champion for Afghanistan who has been a refugee in France since 2021, when the Taliban returned to power. In late August of this year, she posted a video on social media denouncing "gender apartheid" in her home country. Since early September, when she began receiving death threats, she has been under police protection. 

"When I saw that the Taliban announced that women are not allowed to even speak in public, I thought: it's time to invite everyone around the world to stand with Afghan women and also to fight against gender apartheid. So I launched #LetUsExist, because now in Afghanistan women do not exist," Hamidi explained, referring to a video she posted on social media in late August. "We want the world to recognise gender apartheid as a crime against humanity and against women in Afghanistan." 

The former taekwondo champion went on to explain that her police protection began after a subsequent interview, during which she criticised Afghanistan's national cricket team for "normalising [the] Taliban". She recalled that afterwards, fans from the team "started attacking me on social media first by writing bad comments". She later received a call from a person "shouting on me and telling me: 'I have your address in Paris'".

Hamidi said she went on to receive calls from "Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, France, European countries and America", along with many explicit threats on her life sent to her on Instagram, which led her to turn to the French police for protection.

Asked about August 15, 2021, the day the Taliban returned to power in the wake of the chaotic US exit from Afghanistan, Hamidi called it "a sad day for all of us".

In my humble opinion, American war industry oligarchs weren't making enough money to warrant the continuation of the American presence in Afghanistan and decided to move their products to Ukraine.

"When I saw the Taliban in the streets, I said: 'How is this possible?' It felt like a scary movie," she recalled. "Still now, I cannot accept what happened."

The Afghan exile noted that she has "received many messages [of support] from French people: president of the Senate, mayor of Paris, minister of the interior and also minister of sport".

But as regards Afghanistan and the situation of Afghan women, she regretted that "people are silent, especially women in the West". Which is exactly how the Taliban likes it - women being invisible and silent.

Hamidi insisted that as human beings, it is "our duty to speak out for Afghan women and to be their voice because they are voiceless and in the prison of the Taliban".

A new appeal was launched this weekend to again raise awareness about Insiya Hemani, who was violently abducted from her grandmother's home in Amsterdam-Oost exactly eight years ago. At the age of two, the girl was kidnapped in a scheme allegedly orchestrated by her father, Shehzad Hemani, after her mother, Nadia Rashid, had been granted custody rights when the couple split.

Since the kidnapping on September 29, 2016, Insiya Hemani is believed to have been kept full time in India where her father resides. In the Netherlands, Rashid continues to fight for Insiya's return.

In a video published on social media, the mother again pleaded for help from the Dutch public by signing a letter addressed to Prime Minister Dick Schoof, and his ministers of foreign affairs, and justice and security. “I'm not asking for the impossible. But I do ask for all that is possible,” she said.

The woman also addressed her missing daughter in the video, saying, “I hope you’re watching this. And I hope you feel every day how much you’re missed. Come home soon, sweetheart. Mommy is here for you.”

Insiya Hemani abduction and court convictions

Rashid has alleged that Hemani somewhat panicked when Rashid revealed the unplanned pregnancy to him, and that after Insiya was born, he did not participate in parenting her. Rashid filed for divorce in 2015, prompting Hemani to respond with vague threats of violence and a pledge to fight her for custody.

Despite reporting this to police, she said law enforcement never intervened. The harassment continued all the way up to the moment that a group of people allegedly hired by Hemani absconded with the little in the violent kidnapping in 2016.

Insiya’s abduction remains one of the most notorious kidnappings in recent Dutch history. The child was taken from her maternal grandmother’s home in the Watergraafsmeer neighborhood shortly after Rashid dropped the girl off with family members who agreed to babysit that morning.

“The father assembled a group of seven people specifically for this purpose,” the Amsterdam Court of Appeal stated in May in its verdict in the appeal in trial. Hemani was among several first convicted in the kidnapping by the District Court of Amsterdam. Hemani was not present at either hearing, though he was represented by attorneys. Hemani was ordered to serve eight and a half years in prison. His convicted accomplices received sentences of up to four years.

The court found that Insiya was forcibly taken by abductors, and handed over to Hemani, who drove her to Germany with co-conspirators Daniel C. and Erik S. They eventually transported her to India, where "she remains to this day," the court ruled.

Since then, Rashid has been prevented from having contact with the girl. She previously indicated that she has not been able to meet in person with Insiya since the abduction, and has only been able to have brief video calls with the girl which faced repeated interruptions.

“I want to see her play with other children, to know what foods she likes, and to laugh with her,” said Rashid. “But I can’t, because all the warning signs about her impending abduction were ignored. Every time I reported stalking, I wasn’t taken seriously. And now there’s only one real victim: Insiya.”

Rashid raises Insiya Hemani issue with politicians, Dutch royal family

The situation involving Insiya Hemani was also discussed during a state visit when then-President of India Ram Nath Kovind visited the Netherlands in April 2023. “The Dutch authorities have formally requested Insiya's return through diplomatic channels. Since India is not a signatory to The Hague Child Abduction Convention, it cannot be compelled to comply with its terms," said the foreign affairs minister at the time, Wopke Hoekstra.

"Additionally, India has not granted the extradition request for the father,” Hoekstra stated in response to questions from the Tweede Kamer in 2022. Additionally, Insiya’s mother spoke at length with Foreign Affairs Minister Bert Koenders while he was part of Prime Minister Mark Rutte's second Cabinet. An international arrest warrant was issued for Shehzad Hemani.

In her battle to bring Insiya back to the Netherlands, Nadia Rashid has also received support from the Dutch royal family. In April 2022, she met with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, which she described as meaningful. “The support I get, especially from the royal couple, gives me the strength to keep going,” Rashid shared on Goedemorgen Nederland last year.
