Jacqueline Naomi Horton, 47, and Emma Louise Kent, 29, allegedly abused two girls aged seven and nine in New Brighton, Merseyside, UK.
Horton faces two charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child. Kent faces faces four charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and three charges of sexual assault against the same victims.
Kent, who is currently a prisoner at HMP Low Newton, was due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates’ court today via video link, but technical problems meant the case was adjourned.
Horton’s case is to be sent to Liverpool Crown Court. She will appear there on April 14.
She entered no plea and was released on bail.
Kent’s case was adjourned until April 5.
Perhaps the most shocking thing about this case is that it didn't happen in Alabama.
