Mum gang-raped in front of helpless husband and kids by armed robbers in their own home in India

This week's gang-rape and murder in India
Christy Cooney, The Sun

A MOTHER was gang-raped by armed robbers in front of her husband and children at the family's home in India.

The attack, reportedly carried out by four men in a village in the state of Punjab, is the latest in a string of incidents that have sparked protests across the country in recent years.

A police complaint said the men scaled the walls of the home before taking the family onto the roof. The group then allegedly raped the mother of the family and robbed the home.

They then left with gold ornaments belonging to the family and 20,000 rupees (around £212) in cash, Dawn.com reported.

The woman's husband has also said that, when he reported the attack to the local police, they initially insisted on leaving the allegation of gang-rape out of the report.

He said they only later agreed to investigate the rape, and even then only registered the case against two suspects.

A spokesperson for the police has denied that officers failed to record the allegations and said they were included in the initial written complaint. He also said that an investigation had been launched and would be overseen by a senior local officer.

The issue of rape in India first gained international attention following the gang-rape and death of 23-year-old physiotherapy intern Jyoti Singh in Delhi in December 2012.

Singh died two weeks after she was attacked by a group of six men while travelling on a bus with a male friend, who was also badly beaten.

Thousands of protesters later took to the streets in capital New Delhi and elsewhere, accusing state and central governments of failing to do enough to provide security for women.

Last week saw a tour guide allegedly raped by five men and a woman at a five-star hotel in Delhi.

In August, the body of a 13-year-old girl was found dumped near a sugarcane field in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The girl had reportedly been raped and strangled.

Senior Opposition Congress Party member Jitin Prasada called the attack "inhumane" and said it put "humanity to shame". "In this episode, the police must initiate such a strong action that it becomes a deterrent for criminals," he said.

It doesn't really sound like they want to.

Recent years have seen tougher laws introduced as part of attempts to address the problem, but around 34,000 rapes continue to be reported each year in India.

Italian schoolgirl, 16, ‘gang-raped and killed by four migrants
who dumped her on building site to die an agonising death’

A SCHOOLGIRL was allegedly gang-raped and killed by four migrants who dumped her on a building site and left her to die.

Desiree Mariottini, 16, from Cisterna di Latina, Italy, was found dead after being drugged and raped in the construction site in the district of San Lorenzo in October 2018.

A witness claims that the 16-year-old girl went to the abandoned site used by homeless people to buy drugs from the four men.

Narcisa Leon, an Ecuadorian woman who squatted in the abandoned site, told the court that she found the victim lying motionless on a dirty mattress.

She had seen the schoolgirl with the four defendants earlier in the day.

The four men, Yusif Salia, Mamadou Gara, Brian Minteh, and Chima Alinno, are on trial for the rape and death of the 16-year-old.

They are accused of giving the victim a cocktail of drugs before raping her in turn and leaving her to die.
According to Leon, one of the defendants said “better she is dead than us be in prison”.

Other people who were apparently squatting at the site knew that the girl was badly hurt, but did nothing after hearing what the suspected drug dealers had said.

Leon said that one of the suspects, Mamadou Gara, confirmed in a conversation with her that they had given the victim a strong tranquiliser and that he had then had “sex with her”.

The case is ongoing.

Sex offender was arrested and released days before alleged attack
on teenager in St. John's, NL

Advocates and neighbours question lack of public notice by police of Stephen Hopkins' recent charges of sexually assaulting teenage girl

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The man charged with sexual assault on a St. John’s teenager Friday morning had been arrested four days earlier for breaching sex offender registration orders and released to await his court date, court documents show.

Stephen Hopkins
, 29, has been back in custody since Friday, when he was charged with break and entry, forcible confinement and the sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl in her own home, as well as another court order breach.

Hopkins had only been living in the community for two months — he was released on a sentence of time served July 29, after spending a year in prison on remand for sexually assaulting two women on the Long Pond trail in St. John’s in August 2019, among other charges. Along with the jail time, Hopkins was sentenced to two years of probation, a 10-year firearm ban and registration as a sex offender for 10 years.

As a registered sex offender, Hopkins was ordered to check in at a registration centre within a week of his release. A warrant for his arrest was issued when he didn’t show up.

Court documents indicate RNC officers arrested Hopkins on the warrant Sept. 14, charging him with breaching the Sex Offender Registration Act and his probation order, and giving him a date to appear in court to answer to the charges.

Four days later, they took him into custody and charged him with attacking the teenager.

Hopkins allegedly knocked on the door of a home in Cowan Heights and when the girl answered, asked her for a drink of water. He then forced his way into the home and sexually assaulted her before leaving, police say.

Police say the man and the girl do not know each other.

That should probably be 'did not know each other'.

Gloriavale, N.Z. man, 20, charged with indecent acts on three boys

Joanne Carroll
STUFF

The isolated West Coast Christian community of Gloriavale has set itself apart from the rest of society for more than 50 years.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with doing an indecent act on three children at the Gloriavale Christian Community.

A police inquiry into allegations of child sexual abuse at the West Coast community has been underway since July. Police, supported by Oranga Tamariki staff, have been at Gloriavale interviewing community members.

The 20-year-old, who was granted bail after appearing in the Greymouth District Court on Wednesday, is facing three charges of doing an indecent act on boys aged between 12 and 16.

The charges are representative, meaning multiple offences of the same type are alleged to have been committed in similar circumstances over a period of time.

Was he allowed to return to Gloriavale? Surely not!

One charge relates to a 14-year-old boy between May 1 and September 30, 2018. He is alleged to have done an indecent act on another 14-year-old boy between June 1, 2015, and June 1, 2016.

He is also alleged to have offended against a 13-year-old boy between January 1 and January 14, 2015.

Judge David Saunders granted the man name suppression until his next court appearance. Police prosecutor Mathew Wood asked the court to suppress all details. “It is part of mass allegations with a number of victims, so suppression of all details should be granted,” he said.

Judge Saunders said the fact police were investigating Gloriavale was already in the public domain.

Lawyer Dennis Gates, who appeared by audio-visual link from Auckland, said he wanted a forensic report into the man’s fitness to plead and understanding of the charges. However, Wood said the police had no concerns over the man’s mental ability to plead or understanding of the case.

Judge Saunders asked Gates to supply more evidence including a screening test result, before he would order a forensic report.

He granted the man bail without plea on the condition that he had no unsupervised contact with children under 16 years old and live at an address which is not part of Gloriavale’s main West Coast community.

Cops arrest four members of a child sex trafficking ring as horrific video emerges of girl being tortured and threatened with a drill in Colombia

By ADRY TORRES FOR DAILYMAIL.COM

Colombian authorities have arrested four members of a sex trafficking ring and rescued four girls who were being held by them.

The Office of Attorney General said the suspects were forcing adult and underage women, many of them migrants from Venezuela, into prostitution at a bar in the southern Bogotá town of Bosa.

Authorities confiscated a cellphone from one of the suspects and learned of a September 2019 incident in which one of the male suspects recorded a young girl being brutalized and tortured.

In the gruesome video - which the Daily Mail has decided not to republish - the girl is seen sitting on a bed with pliers gripping her feet and her hair cut off.

One man behind the camera them brandishes a drill in front of her face and threatens to kill her.

The punishment was allegedly in retribution for the girl telling a bar customer that the owners were selling fake liquor and drugs.

Silvia Yaney Castañeda (second from left), Danilo Pacheco (third from left), Exyerin David Vargas (third from right) y Leonardo Jesús Vargas (second from right) were charged with human trafficking, torture and instigating prostitution after they were arrested in Bogotá, Colombia, on Sunday

A cellphone seized by the police in Colombia showed a girl from Venezuela being threatened with a drill by members of a sex trafficking ring. The underage girl was one of many who were promised employment at the bar before they were forced to have sex with customers. The girl later  managed to escape her captors and returned to Venezuela.

A male accomplice then smacked the girl and told her, 'why didn't you cry when you went snitching?'

The man behind the cellphone camera then said, 'let's kill her with the drill,' before the other suspect pointed the drill at the terrified girl's face.

The Colombian National Police captured the suspects Sunday after a judge granted an arrest warrant after gathering testimony from the four girls and surveillance camera footage near the bar.

The suspects were identified as Silvia Yaney Castañeda and Danilo Pacheco, both Colombian nationals. The cops also apprehended Exyerin David Vargas and Leonardo Jesús Vargas, both of Venezuela.

All four suspects were charged with human trafficking, torture, and instigating prostitution.

Investigators claim the four were responsible for recruiting the victims and promising them employment at the bar.

They then forced girls to have sex with customers and received a portion of the money paid to the traffickers. The victims were also obligated to meet a certain quota and were required to work additional hours if they failed to meet the traffickers' expectations.

A police spokesman said all four girls have since returned to Venezuela. The girl who appeared in the frightening video managed to escape her captors and also returned to Venezuela.

Seriously sick paedophile remains high risk - N.Z. Parole Board

Star News National

A philosophy student who is in prison for writing online fantasies about raping babies remains a high risk to the community, the Parole Board says.

Benjamin Todd Whitcombe (24) accepted he was not ready to be released when he appeared before the board this month.

He was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment before the Dunedin District Court in September 2018 on four charges of exporting objectionable publications and one each of importing, making, possessing and possessing objectionable publications for the purpose of supply.

The court heard he was sentenced to home detention for similar offending three years earlier.

Despite completing the STOP programme, aimed at addressing harmful sexual behaviour, Whitcombe continued his pattern of online offending.

He came to the attention of Canadian authorities in December through his use of a messaging app, using the name "Philosophers Stone", and later analysis of his phone found he uploaded four publications depicting the sexual exploitation of a child.

An investigation by New Zealand Customs showed the crimes had taken place at a north Dunedin address and at his parents’ home, the court heard at sentencing.

When his house was raided, Whitcombe said he knew the child-abuse material was "bad" and that he had used the app since he was 14 to communicate with people around the world.

Investigators also found a Tumblr account complete with Whitcombe’s photo, on which he went by the name "wandering philosopher".

His bio said: "Into everything and anything twisted ... Looking forward to conversing with the like-minded sick freaks on here." Over two years, Whitcombe messaged 128 other users.

Some of those conversations, in which he expressed a desire to rape babies, were so graphic court documents had to be redacted.

Whitcombe had been communicating with a 15-year-old whom he encouraged to engage in sex acts with an animal and he later received photos showing such activity. Those images were later distributed by the defendant, using an anonymous file-sharing app.

The Parole Board heard Whitcombe had completed the child sex offender treatment programme while incarcerated and was now about to start the graduate phase.

"Although there is some concern about his manipulative behaviour and the fact that he pushes boundaries, overall, things appear to have improved," board chairman Sir Ron Young said.

"The concern was that while he had an intellectual understanding of the programme, he didn’t necessarily have the appropriate emotional connection to it."

Sir Ron noted there had been some investigation as to whether an extended supervision order, a mechanism through which Corrections can monitor high-risk sex offenders when they are released, would be appropriate for Whitcombe.

The prisoner will see the board again in February.

Diary written by teenage victim of sexual abuse Victoria Agoglia
recovered by UK police - 17 years after her death

Exclusive: The journal will now play a significant part in an on-going new inquiry
into the abuse of Victoria Agoglia
By Neal Keeling
17:56, 23 SEP 2020

A diary written by a teenage victim of sexual abuse has been recovered by police - 17 years after her death. The journal will now play a significant part in an ongoing new inquiry into the abuse of Victoria Agoglia.

GMP became aware of the existence of the diary last year, but only obtained it last month.

It had been in the possession of Manchester council.

The question is, how long did Manchester Council have the diary in their possession?

Victoria's loved ones have been asking for her abuse to be investigated ever since her death, aged 15, in 2003.

A damning report published in January said a coroner's narrative verdict recorded at her inquest 'significantly underplays the coercion and control she was subject to' in terms of child sexual exploitation.

It also suggests the reports contents, following information gathered as part of the review, could represent new evidence and an application for a fresh inquest into Victoria's death could now be made to the Attorney General.

The report represents the findings of the first part of a review into how child sexual exploitation is dealt with in Greater Manchester and considers a police operation launched in 2004 in response to Victoria's death.

Operation Augusta was designed to investigate the sexual abuse of children predominantly in care in south Manchester, with the report identifying up to 97 potential paedophiles and around 57 potential victims.

But the review, commissioned by Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham in 2017, found Augusta was discontinued in July 2005 due to resourcing. This was despite police and other authorities amassing colossal evidence against the perpetrators.

Perhaps not despite, but because of.

A number of the men identified went on to commit, and be convicted of, sex crimes.

Victoria, who had been in care since the age of eight, disclosed two months before her death to her social worker and a substance misuse worker that an older man was injecting her with heroin, the report found.

Operation Greenjacket, was launched by GMP in May 2018, aimed initially at re-investigating child exploitation in 2004/05.

Of course, the shutting down of Augusta, and the refusal of police and council to do anything about the abuse happening in the early 2000s was because all, or almost all the perpetrators were Pakistani men and they were afraid of being called racists. Consequently, they sacrificed dozens of young British girls on the altar of politically correct madness. Across the UK, thousands of girls were given over freely to such monsters by the police and councils.

This article refuses to mention the fact that all the paedophiles were Pakistani, which means the politically correct madness still reigns in mainstream media.
