EIGHTEEN Afghan migrants, including a child, have suffocated in a truck abandoned in Bulgaria.
The vehicle was transporting timber and carrying some 52 illegal migrants hidden in a secret compartment, the country’s Interior Ministry said on Friday.

Cops believe those discovered were from Afghanistan and were being illegally smuggled to Serbia.
The vehicle was found near the village of Lokorsko, around 12 miles from the Bulgarian capital, Sofia.
Heart-rending pictures show shoes and other belongings from the migrants strewn around the claustrophobic van.
It is believed to be the deadliest incident to date involving migrants in Bulgaria.
The drivers, suspected to be human traffickers, had fled the scene.
Senior police chief Atanas Ilkov said one of the four people detained had already been sentenced for human trafficking, and charges would be made once there was sufficient evidence.
Survivors were taken to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment. Bulgarian health minister Assen Medzhidiev has said the survivors were in a precarious condition.
He confirmed: "They have suffered from lack of oxygen, their clothes are wet, they are freezing, and obviously haven't eaten for days."
Bulgaria is located on a popular route used by migrants from countries in the Middle East to enter the EU. The Balkan nation is typically a stepping-stone to richer countries in western Europe, used often by elaborate networks of smugglers.
Last year, more than 150,000 people attempted to cross the border with Turkey, nearly five times higher than the previous year.
The country has long struggled to deal with the numbers of people trying to enter the European Union through its borders. Bulgaria has also faced accusations it is mistreating people trying to cross the border, with asylum seekers claiming they have been stripped, beaten, and arrested.
It comes three years after Maurice Robinson was convicted of manslaughter for the death of 39 Chinese migrants found in a refrigerated lorry in Essex. The victims, who had arrived at Purfleet from Zeebrugge in Belgium, had been dead for at least 12 hours before the gruesome discovery.

Zwickau (Saxony) - Terrible bloody deed in Saxony: An Afghan (36) is said to have killed his wife (33) in front of their five children in a mother/father-child home in Crimmitschau. BILD spoke to an eyewitness, a young father.
For the witness, it is initially a completely normal day in the dormitory of the Crimmitschauer association FAB (association for the promotion of training, employment, advice and care for young people and adults). Like many other mothers and fathers, he receives support there in coping with his life situation. Say: So that the child is not taken away from them.
"When I woke my daughter after her nap, I suddenly heard the children screaming," he recalls. But at first he thought nothing of it. But then the screams became more and more dramatic and a child sobbed, "Mama, Mama, he's killing my Mama."
When the young father stepped into the hallway, he saw something unbelievably horrible: "The Afghan father crouched wordlessly with a knife over his blood-smeared wife. Then he noticed me. The killer looked me in the eye right after the crime. His gaze was menacing and fearful at the same time. He got up and was about to approach me with the knife when several attendants came over.”

Everyone then ran away. The alleged killer fled the house. Called police officers finally caught him a few hundred meters further on the main road in the neighboring town of Neukirchen.
The day after the crime, police officers searched his escape route. He had probably thrown away the bloodied knife on the way. Whether they found it, the police did not want to say on Sunday. Also nothing to a possible or suspected motive.
According to BILD information, the Afghan mother and her five children (4 months to 12 years) were admitted to the facility in the spring of last year. The husband and children's father did not live in the house, but came to visit.

Sex with minors is widely accepted in Syria and other majority-Muslim countries for one primary reason: the example of Muhammad, the prophet of Islam.
Child marriage has abundant attestation in Islamic tradition and law.
Turkey’s directorate of religious affairs (Diyanet) said in January 2018 that under Islamic law, girls as young as nine can marry.

These authorities say these things because hadiths that Muslims consider authentic record that Muhammad’s favorite wife, Aisha, was six when Muhammad wedded her and nine when he consummated the marriage:
“The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)” (Bukhari 7.62.88).
Another tradition has Aisha herself recount the scene:
The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became all right, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, “Best wishes and Allah’s Blessing and a good luck.” Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age. (Bukhari 5.58.234).
Muhammad was at this time fifty-four years old.
Marrying young girls was not all that unusual for its time, but because in Islam Muhammad is the supreme example of conduct (cf. Qur’an 33:21), he is considered exemplary in this unto today. And so in April 2011, the Bangladesh Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini declared that those trying to pass a law banning child marriage in that country were putting Muhammad in a bad light: “Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam, [putting] the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge.” He added a threat: “Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women.” The Mufti said that 200,000 jihadists were ready to sacrifice their lives for any law restricting child marriage.
Likewise the influential website Islamonline.com in December 2010 justified child marriage by invoking not only Muhammad’s example, but the Qur’an as well:
The Noble Qur’an has also mentioned the waiting period [i.e. for a divorced wife to remarry] for the wife who has not yet menstruated, saying: “And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women, if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated” [Qur’an 65:4]. Since this is not negated later, we can take from this verse that it is permissible to have sexual intercourse with a prepubescent girl. The Qur’an is not like the books of jurisprudence which mention what the implications of things are, even if they are prohibited. It is true that the prophet entered into a marriage contract with A’isha when she was six years old, however he did not have sex with her until she was nine years old, according to al-Bukhari.
Other countries make Muhammad’s example the basis of their laws regarding the legal marriageable age for girls. Article 1041 of the Civil Code of the Islamic Republic of Iran states that girls can be engaged before the age of nine, and married at nine: “Marriage before puberty (nine full lunar years for girls) is prohibited. Marriage contracted before reaching puberty with the permission of the guardian is valid provided that the interests of the ward are duly observed.”
According to Amir Taheri in The Spirit of Allah: Khomeini and the Islamic Revolution (pp. 90-91), Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini himself married a ten-year-old girl when he was twenty-eight. Khomeini called marriage to a prepubescent girl “a divine blessing,” and advised the faithful to give their own daughters away accordingly: “Do your best to ensure that your daughters do not see their first blood in your house.” When he took power in Iran, he lowered the legal marriageable age of girls to nine, in accord with Muhammad’s example.

The man said the girl was demanding and that it was normal in his culture to have sex with underage girls.
The man was sentenced to 8 years in Namur. The prosecution appealed to Liège and asked for a heavier sentence.
The general prosecutor’s office has requested a ten-year prison sentence before the Liège Court of Appeal against a 27-year-old resident of Doische, who must answer for having raped and impregnated his stepdaughter, eight years old! These terrible facts were discovered when the mother noticed that her little girl was no longer having her period. The child was vomiting and did not seem to feel well….
On April 3, 2021, the inconceivable was the result of a medical examination. The girl was pregnant with twins. According to the expert opinion, she was eight weeks and four days pregnant. Conception took place at the end of January 2021, although she was born in May 2012.
The stepfather testified that it was the mother’s fault that the girl had been raped because she had dressed her in skirts….
Astonishing! This is a recurring theme in Islam - A woman shows an ankle, or her hair and men think they are obligated to rape them regardless of whether the woman is 8 years old or not.
The latter explained that in his country, Syria, it was not bad to have a sexual relationship with a minor. Even when he appeared in court, the accused had not questioned himself. He had stated, “I confirm what I said before the investigating judge. The little girl provoked me. They tell me that she is only nine years old. It is her way of behaving, in her mind she is older than her age. She asked me for it, I stand by the fact that the child asked for the sexual intercourse.”
Is there no requirement for immigrants to understand that sex with children and unwanted sex with women is verboten in Europe? Not that it would help if men put Islamic Law above national laws.
The lawyer of the accused considered that her client, who had just been granted the status of a political refugee, had now become aware of the seriousness of the offenses. The lawyer pleaded for a suspended sentence as far as possible. “My client is willing to integrate into Belgian society,” she said. The court will pronounce its verdict in March this year.
