Pakistani detained in Palma for sexually assaulting a young woman

A 30-year-old man, of Pakistani origin, has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of sexual aggression, supposedly grabbing and immobilizing a young woman several times, and rubbing against her.

The family and women’s care unit (UFAM) of the National Police was aware of the events through a complaint filed by a young woman on April 23, when at 02:00 in the morning she was preparing to open the door and a man was approaching who had not seen before.

The man engaged in conversation with the woman and, at a certain point, stood behind the victim, grabbing her with force by the arm, placing her on her back and immobilizing her.

Then he pushed the woman against the wall, simulating the practice of sexual relations, until he released her.

The victim managed to open the door and tried to close it after her, but the man was able to get to her and repeated the action, subjecting her to touching in intimate areas, until he finally left the place after the repeated request of the woman to stop.

The agents made numerous efforts and fruit of the investigations managed to identify the alleged perpetrator, leading to their arrest last Thursday.
