Mönchengladbach – In a swimming pool in Mönchengladbach, there have been unsightly scenes: several young people are said to have groped and harassed a group of young girls there.
As a police spokesman announced on Monday, investigations against three young people (17) and two young adults (19) were initiated.
The group of young suspects is said to have pressed and harassed a group of six girls between the ages of twelve and 13 on Sunday afternoon in the Vitusbad in Mönchengladbach.
According to the girls’ statements, they were suddenly groped several times from the group of young men while swimming and touched under water, as it was said.
“Anyone who did what the suspects did and how the individual girls were affected is the subject of the police investigation,” said the police spokesman.
Five of the young men are of Afghan origin. One was from Romania, according to the investigators.
After the police started the facts, the girls were handed over to their carers. Meanwhile, the suspects were released after determining their identity and concluding the police measures.

The state court in the western city of Koblenz convicted the 37-year-old of crimes against humanity, membership in a foreign terrorist organization and being an accessory to genocide, German news agency dpa reported. Authorities have identified her only as Nadine K. in line with German privacy rules.
The court found that the defendant for three years abused a young Yazidi woman “in her own interests as a household slave.” It said that her husband brought the woman to their home and regularly raped her, and that the defendant enabled those assaults and should have intervened.
Prosecutors have said that the defendant traveled to Syria with her husband in 2014 and joined IS. In 2015, the couple moved to the Iraqi town of Mosul, where they allegedly kept the Yazidi woman….

Uganda’s military rescues three students abducted by Islamist fighters

KAMPALA, June 21 (Reuters) – The Ugandan military have rescued three of the six students who were kidnapped by Islamist fighters when they stormed a school in the west of the country last week and massacred 42 people, mostly young students, the army said on Wednesday.
“There were six students kidnapped and three have so far been rescued,” said military spokesman Felix Kulayigye.
A woman with two children who had been kidnapped outside the school was also rescued, together with her children, while two militants were killed and two guns captured, Kulayigye said.
On Friday night a group of fighters from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), a group linked to Islamic State, stormed the Lhubirira Secondary School in Mpondwe on Uganda’s border with the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The militiamen entered a boys’ dormitory, shot at the children and set the building on fire, incinerating nearly everyone in it. They then entered a girls’ dormitory and killed them with machetes….
