What does the rape of an innocent woman have to do with feminism? Any human being of sound mind, male or female, would likewise unequivocally oppose rape. A warped, woke agenda has hijacked and corrupted the original mandate of the Toronto Rape Crisis Center, as it has corrupted many institutions. So instead of genuinely helping victims through their trauma, their vulnerabilities are manipulated to create more hardcore angry feminists. Now, the Toronto Rape Crisis Center is following the lead of many other woke organizations and embracing the Hamas agenda.
There has been overwhelming (and barely watchable) evidence of the gruesome savagery inflicted upon Israeli women on October 7, and men were raped, too. Leftist feminists long ago established the #MeToo movement, although it was always marked with hypocrisy and double standards. The #MeToo movement pitted women and men against each other in embracing the bizarre notion that women must be believed no matter what, and not questioned. Yet even in the face of unquestionable evidence proving the horrors of October 7, the woke Toronto Rape Crisis Center “has decided to join the ‘pro-Palestinian side.’”
The TRCC’s inhumane disregard for what happened to Jewish women on October 7 is costing the organization dearly.
It’s a sick and twisted world when those who are supposed to help women suffering sexual violence instead stand with those who perpetrate it. That’s the case with one Toronto organization that claims to support a “world free of sexual violence.”
If you haven’t heard, the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre, which has been silent on the issue of Israeli women being raped during the Oct. 7 attacks, has decided to join the “pro-Palestinian” side by sponsoring an event this weekend. The problematic part is that they are co-sponsoring the event with two groups that regularly issue demands and statements that read like talking points for Hamas apologists.
So now, the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre is in danger of losing more than half of its annual budget for getting involved in politics. The TRCC has been informed by an official with the Ministry of Community and Social Services that the organization is in breach of their funding agreements over their latest political stance.….
The TRCC hasn’t condemned the rape of women by Hamas, but they are willing to partner with groups that are making the same demands as the terrorist group including that all Palestinian prisoners must be released. That statement would include the captured terrorists who carried out the rapes, murders and more on Oct. 7….
So, did well-meaning social workers who can be so helpful to women who are suffering the trauma of rape, or sexual assault, suddenly turn antisemitic? Were they persuaded by the prolific liars who support Hamas? Or, was the organization invaded by far-left conspirators as a platform for their madness?
Canadian man gets 12-year U.S. prison sentence for trying to sexually coerce child
In a release, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said Jonathan Woodworth, 45, had previously admitted as part of his guilty plea that he exchanged sexually explicit messages with someone “he believed was the mother of a 10-year-old girl, in an attempt to entice the child into engaging in sexual acts with him.”
“On September 28, 2022, Woodworth traveled by plane and train from New Brunswick to Rensselaer County, New York, with the intent to engage in sexual acts with the minor,” the release said. “Woodworth was arrested after exiting the Rensselaer train station.”
United States district judge Anne M. Nardacci also imposed a 15-year term of post-imprisonment supervised release on Woodworth.
How does that work when he's a Canadian? Does it mean he has to stay in New York for another 15 years? It's OK with me.
He will also be required to register as a sex offender and faces deportation or removal from the United States upon his release from prison.
The case was investigated by the FBI Albany’s child exploitation task force and police investigators.
2018 World Junior player Alex Formenton surrenders to London police
Formenton was seen arriving at the station around 10:15 a.m. by a news camera operator amid reportedly anticipated charges in relation to an alleged group sexual assault.
London police says it will “provide all updates at our press conference scheduled for Feb. 5, 2024,” in response to Global News’ request for confirmation of Formenton’s surrender.
“The London Police have charged several players, including Alex Formenton, in connection with an accusation made in 2018. Alex will vigorously defend his innocence and asks that people not rush to judgment without hearing all of the evidence,” Formenton’s lawyer said in a statement to the Globe and Mail.
The 24-year-old is one of five members of Canada’s 2018 World Juniors hockey team told to surrender to police to face charges for the alleged assaults in London, Ont, according to a report by The Globe.
The media report released Wednesday cited two sources with knowledge of the investigation who were not named because they were not authorized to speak on the case.
The players were given a set period of time to present themselves at London police headquarters, the Globe reported. Global News has not independently confirmed the Globe reporting.
Several players who were members on the 2018 team have taken indefinite leaves of absence from their clubs over recent days, according to statements from their teams posted on the social media platform X and in public comments. Those players are Michael McLeod and Cal Foote of the New Jersey Devils, Carter Hart of the Philadelphia Flyers, Dillon Dube of the Calgary Flames and Formenton, who now plays in Switzerland.
There is no confirmation that the leaves are related to the Globe report.
The reportedly anticipated charges stem from an alleged group sexual assault in London, Ont., in June 2018 after a Hockey Canada gala event.
News of the event first broke in May 2022 after TSN reported Hockey Canada had settled a civil lawsuit with the complainant. That report triggered a series of events, which included renewed investigations, as well as intense scrutiny focused on Hockey Canada that eventually led the entire board and leadership team to resign.
