Hindu girl allegedly tortured and murdered by Uzbek boyfriend for not converting to Islam

Uzbekistan: Muslim Medical Student Allegedly Kills Hindu Classmate After She Refuses to Convert

The alleged murder of a young Indian medical student in Uzbekistan has reignited the long-standing debate over the forced conversions of Hindu women in many parts of India. While Muslim-pandering Indian intellectuals and pop culture icons continue to propagate a forged image of Muslim victimhood in the country, police have accused 21-year-old Sawariya Basanth’s Muslim classmate, Sadarul Anam, of killing his Hindu classmate in a foreign land, exposing the dangerous extent to which Islamic elements control the so-called “secular fabric” of Indian democracy. Sadarul, a 22-year-old first-year MBBS student from Pulamanthole in Kerala’s Malappuram district, studied with Sawariya at Bukhara State Medical Institute; both were living in the same hostel, which housed several Malayali students from Kerala.

Though early reports suggested that the accused struck Sawariya with his laptop during a heated argument, Sawariya’s family rejected reports that attributed her death to a single blow, and argued that Sadarul had subjected her to prolonged and repeated violence before taking her life. The family has also claimed that Sadarul repeatedly pressured her to convert to Islam, though she rejected every attempt and remained steadfast in practicing her own faith. The family further alleges that those repeated confrontations ultimately led to the fatal attack. They also described the gruesome condition of Sawariya’s body, saying it bore injuries across several areas from head to toe, suggesting that the accused had brutally tortured her while she was alive. Sawariya’s uncle, who traveled to Uzbekistan to bring her body home, stated that investigators confirmed that she endured severe physical assault before she died.

“She did not die because she was hit on the head with a laptop,” he claimed after returning to India. “He had brutally assaulted her a lot before killing her. So we are seeking a postmortem here and have lodged a complaint here to ensure he does not escape if he is let off by the police in Uzbekistan.”

The family also mentioned that several students had witnessed Sadarul pressure Sawariya to convert to Islam before the incident. Although officials have not publicly released witness statements or evidence supporting those claims, the family reveals that investigators told them during the inquiry that multiple students had confirmed that Sadarul repeatedly tried to force Sawariya to convert to his faith.

After Sawariya died, her parents approached the Kerala Police and filed a formal complaint. Haripad Police registered a murder case after receiving the complaint. Police officials explained that Indian law allows authorities to register a criminal case involving an Indian citizen, even when another country serves as the primary jurisdiction for the investigation. Kerala Police also said they would coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Uzbekistan to monitor the investigation.

Authorities in Uzbekistan reportedly arrested Sadarul soon after the incident. Kerala Police said they would obtain official documents and updates through diplomatic channels before deciding whether to pursue additional legal action in India. Police officials have assured that they would review the progress of the Uzbek investigation before making any further decisions under Indian law.

Sawariya’s parents continue to demand a thorough investigation into every allegation surrounding their daughter’s death, and urged the Indian government to examine every available legal option, including the possibility of bringing Sadarul to India if the law permits such action. Government officials have not announced any decision regarding extradition, and authorities continue to evaluate the legal process.

The case has drawn widespread attention across Kerala and other parts of India to Muslim men’s forced religious conversions of Hindu women, and renewed attention on Kerala’s extended history of conversion-related controversies and Islamic jihad recruitment and activity. Over the past decade, law enforcement agencies, including the National Investigation Agency (NIA), have investigated numerous cases involving religious conversion in the context of interfaith relationships, mostly involving Muslim men and Hindu or Christian women. Intelligence agencies and counterterrorism investigators have also identified Kerala as one of the states from which the Islamic State (ISIS) recruited a significant number of Indian operatives and sympathizers, and many of these young recruits were freshly converted girls from other faiths.

Security agencies have also documented that several educated young men and women from Kerala, including engineers, medical professionals, students, and other professionals, joined or attempted to join ISIS networks in Syria and Afghanistan through local jihad cells and personal recruitment networks. Investigators discovered that these networks often relied on ideological indoctrination, close social circles, and religious influence to recruit followers. Against this backdrop, Sawariya Basanth’s death demands far more than a routine murder investigation. Indian authorities must thoroughly examine whether Sadarul acted alone or maintained links with any organized jihadist or conversion network that targeted Hindu women under the guise of personal relationships.

Forbidden Love > Muslim and Hindu in India

India: Muslim woman marries Hindu man, her family beats her, locks her in room, threatens to kill her

They beat her because Muslim women are forbidden to marry Hindu men.

The Qur’an says: “Do not marry idolatresses until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave woman is better than an idolatress, even though she pleases you. And do not give your daughters in marriage to idolaters until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave is better than an idolater, even though he pleases you. These people invite you to the fire, and Allah invites you to the garden, and to forgiveness by his grace, and explains his signs to mankind so that perhaps they will remember.” (Qur’an 2:221)

Hindu boy, Muslim girl got married in Budaun.

Celebration in one area, mourning in another

by Nootan Sharma, The Print, June 19, 2026:

Budaun: Dressed in a red saree, wearing sindoor, red bangles and her head covered with a pallu, 19-year-old Himanshi Kumari looks every bit a newlywed Hindu bride. Just a few days ago, she was known as Hira Naz Bi, a young Muslim woman living with her family in Budaun, Uttar Pradesh.

Her marriage to 21-year-old Atul changed not just her marital status, but also her name, faith and identity. It became a cause for Hindutva groups to rally around and celebrate — following a crucial intervention by the police — in this small town otherwise famous for its zari-zardosi work. While the Hindus cheered it as ‘ghar wapsi’, a pall of shameful silence has fallen over the Muslim community in Jasma village three kilometres away. They now face a dilemma. If they express resentment, they are convinced they will face repercussions.

It wasn’t easy for Himanshi either. Her Muslim parents opposed bitterly when they found out she was in love with a young Hindu man.

“We were in love for almost three years. We had a secret marriage in January. After getting married in an Arya Samaj temple, we got our live-in certificate and I went back to stay with my parents. When my family found out about us, they beat me and locked me in a room,” Himanshi said.

That’s when the Budaun police got involved.

Himanshi dialled 100 and told the police her family was “threatening to kill” her.

She said when the police arrived, her family sent them away saying some kid might have dialled them by mistake. Himanshi then found a way to talk to Atul, prompting her parents to file a complaint against him alleging he had lured their minor daughter.

“After the police intervened, I was reunited with my love. It feels like I am living my dream,” Himanshi said, sitting on a bed with folded hands, dressed as a newlywed bride in Budaun’s Usawan town.

Another 'Love Jihad' horror story from India

India: Muslim husband and his family drug and rape Hindu woman, force her to convert to Islam

Nawaz lied to her about converting to Hinduism because he was trying to trap her. The Qur’an forbids Muslim women to marry “idolaters,” so the only way he could get her was to convert to Hinduism, which he wasn’t going to do, or force her to convert to Islam: “Do not marry idolatresses until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave woman is better than an idolatress, even though she pleases you.

‘Drugged, Raped, Forced To Convert To Islam & Eat Beef’: Hyderabad Woman Recalls Horrific Torture By Husband

by Nidhi Sinha, Republic World, April 5, 2026:

Hyderabad: A horrific incident of forced conversion has surfaced from Hyderabad, where a woman has alleged that she was drugged, raped and was forced to convert to Islam by her husband and his family.

The woman, while speaking to ANI, recalled that Nawaz, falsely told her that he had converted to Hinduism and his new name was Navadurga. However, after marriage, he and his family forcefully converted her to a Muslim.

“I first met Nawaz in May 2021. After meeting for one or two days, he told me that he had converted to Hinduism and his name was changed to Navadurga. Everybody from their family who was present at that time, everyone agreed on it. He actually came to rent our shop, which I posted. On 17th May, I posted, and on 18th May, he actually came to our shop. And then and there, he gave the rent and deposit of one month. That is how I met him,” the woman told ANI.

Drugged, Raped At Resort
The woman alleged that on May 24, the man took him to a resort on the pretext of meeting his family. However, his family did not arrive and while waiting, the man ordered her lunch and drinks. She was forced to consume the food/drink, which allegedly had drugs. Thereafter, she lost consciousness and was allegedly raped.

The woman said she woke up around 11 AM the next day feeling severely unwell, with pain across her body. She went to the reception to check if any other rooms had been booked under Nawaz’s name, but was told only one room was booked.

Realising she had been trapped, she returned to the room where Nawaz questioned her whereabouts. When she confronted him about the previous night, he allegedly admitted that he had assaulted her while she was unconscious and had taken photos of her.

The woman said, “He admitted, ‘While you were unconscious, I got physical with you and did whatever I wanted.’ He then showed me photos he had taken of me while I was passed out. He used them to blackmail me, saying, ‘You must marry me and no one else; that is why I did this. Once we are married, I will delete the photos.’”

Blackmailed
Following the crime at the resort, the woman was continuously blackmailed by the man, who also extorted lakhs of money from her. The man threatened to leak her pictures on social media and also threatened to kill her mother and kidnap and rape her sister. The woman added that the man’s brothers and friends also physically assaulted her.

Forced Marriage, Conversion
She was forced to marry Nawaz on July 28. She was then converted to Islam, renamed Nazeera and forced to read Kalma and verses from Quran. Further, the woman alleged that she was forced to consume beef despite being a vegetarian. She claimed that she was physically assaulted when she refused to eat beef. The woman further alleged that after marriage, Nawaz used to tear her clothes in front of his brothers.

Pregnancy Aborted
The woman’s ordeal did not end with the marriage. She was constantly subjected to abuse. Even her phones were taken away from her. Further, when she got pregnant, her in-laws gave her medicine to abort the pregnancy. “They used to hit me a lot. they didnt let me do any pooja at home. They physically harassed me. They used to mix something in my food, and I would lose consciousness,” she added….

Karnataka: Muslim woman arrested for suffocating 40-day-old grandson over anger at granddaughter’s marriage to a Hindu man

OpIndia, March 12, 2026:

A shocking case has come to light from a place called Chelur in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur district. In this case, a woman named Mehboobi has been arrested for murdering her 40-day-old grandson. The police claim that her motive for killing her grandson was her anger at her granddaughter marrying a Hindu boy against her wishes.

The incident took place on 24th December, 2025, at Mehboobi’s residence in Chelur. When the newborn baby boy was staying with his mother at her grandmother’s house after birth.

Soon after the baby’s death, Mehboobi told relatives that her grandson had developed breathing problems and had died. Trusting her explanation, the family performed the last rites without suspecting anything suspicious.

But soon after that, the mother of the baby started suspecting that something was fishy. According to police sources, “The mother of the deceased child started suspecting something after noticing Mehboobi’s behaviour. She then approached the Chelur police and filed a complaint seeking a proper investigation.

After the complaint was filed, the police initiated an investigation into the matter and obtained permission to exhume the baby’s body for a post-mortem examination. The body was examined in the presence of officials and sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for further investigation.

The FSL report revealed that the infant had died due to suffocation and not because of any illness. The police officials stated that Mehboobi’s statements were contradictory during the investigation, which led them to suspect her of the crime.

During the investigation of the case, the officials found that Mehboobi was unhappy because her granddaughter had married a Hindu man in a love marriage. Mehboobi was also unhappy about the birth of the child from that interfaith marriage….
