Indian man dresses up & claims to be ‘transitioning’
to convince court drop harassment case

The unnamed suspect, accused of molesting his female colleague, came to Delhi High Court wearing formal female attire, makeup and a wig – and claimed he had been identifying himself as a woman since very childhood, due to acute gender dysphoria. Therefore, he told the court, he could not have abused the victim who was like a “sister” to him.
The court, however, dismissed his plea to drop the case, after it turned out the man lied that the complainant was ready to settle the matter. The 33yo victim, suffering from multiple sclerosis, was brought to court in a wheel chair and refused any compromise. In addition, local media report, the suspect referred to self as a male in an affidavit filed with the rejected motion.
DNA evidence of second rapist emerges 1 day before verdict in Coimbatore child rape case
Megha KaveriThe News Minute
The mother of the seven-year-old girl who was raped and murdered by her neighbour in Pannimadai has filed a plea in the district court, seeking re-investigation of the case after the Forensic Examination report of the victim stated that more than one man’s semen traces were found in the DNA samples collected from the victim. The plea assumes significance since the case awaits its verdict on Friday at the POCSO court in Coimbatore, however the forensic report has come only this week.
The case relates to the rape and murder of a seven-year-old girl in Pannimadai earlier in March.
Kavitha*, the victim’s mother, told TNM that the police, despite knowing that there is another man’s involvement in her child’s death, has not taken any action to book him. “I have been saying this from the beginning, that the number of accused can be more than one man. I got to know about the Forensic report only on Wednesday and it has confirmed my fears. I want the case to be re-investigated and all the accused to be punished accordingly,” she said.
The Forensic Examination report in the case, a copy of which has been accessed by TNM, states that while there are semen stains of the accused Santosh Kumar, there are also traces of another man in the samples collected by the police.
The girl went missing from her house and that evening Kavitha filed a missing person complaint in the nearby police station. The next day, the police discovered the girl’s mutilated body in an alley close to her house. An autopsy confirmed that she was sexually assaulted before being smothered to death.
A week after the incident, the police arrested Santosh Kumar, the victim’s neighbour, in connection with the crime. According to the police, the victim was playing in front of Santosh’s house on the day of the incident and had fallen down while playing. Santosh, on the pretext of helping her, took her inside his house and raped her twice before smothering her to death. The death of Santosh’s grandmother on the day made it convenient for him to hide the girl’s body and dispose it off in the wee hours next day, wrapping it in his t-shirt.
The police arrested Santosh on March 31 and registered an FIR against him under sections 376A (causing death of rape victim) of the IPC in addition to 5(l) (Whoever commits penetrative sexual assault on the child more than once or repeatedly), 5(m) (Whoever commits penetrative sexual assault on a child below twelve years) and 6 (Punishment for aggravated penetrative sexual assault) of the POCSO Act.”
Speaking to TNM about the forensic report, the Inspector of Thudiyalur All Women’s Police Station (AWPS) told TNM that strict action will be taken based on what the court says on Friday. “I have not yet heard anything of the issue. I am away from Coimbatore on official duty. Whatever is the issue, the verdict is on Friday and based on what the court says, further action will be taken on the case,” she said.

Life sentence for Afghan refugee who raped and burned Finnish girl alive
By VOICE OF EUROPEFinnish Supreme Court decided on Thursday, that the life sentence for the murderer of a 17-year-old girl will remain in force.
Afghan refugee Ramin Azimi, murdered and burned his Finnish girlfriend alive in January 2015, after a dispute. He appealed against his former life sentence at Finland’s Supreme Court on Thursday.
According to media in Finland, “he couldn’t deal with her ending their relationship”. The court states that Azimi “first raped the girl in a nightclub in Ulvila. Then he transported her to the town of Kokemäki by car, moved her to a wooden house, doused her in gasoline and burned her alive.”
Several European girls have already been murdered or raped by migrants. In Germany, Maria Ladenburger was murdered by an Afghan migrant and in Sweden Alexandra Mezher was stabbed to death by a Somali migrant.
And there are many more. Muslims are not known for self-control, which is why they need to keep their women as invisible as possible.
Germany and Sweden can barely protect their own women from migrant attacks. A while ago German national TV advised women to take safe routes while out jogging and police in Sweden even said women shouldn’t go out at night at all!
'They got angry at me': woman tells of abuse in UK children's home
Amy Walker, The Guardian, UKWhen Susie* was placed in a privately run children’s home at 16, it marked the beginning of a traumatic experience she is still recovering from today. “It was more of an institution than a caring environment,” she said. “There was no one to really look after us in a way that family should.”
During the year she spent at the house, which accommodated more than a dozen 12- to 18-year-olds with mental health and other complex needs, Susie, who is now 21, claims she was never given sufficient support for her autism.
She instead recounted being “yelled at a lot” by staff, which triggered sensory overload, a condition often experienced by people with autism that causes hypersensitivity to things such as sights and sounds and can make them feel as if they are in physical agony.
“They called me stupid and retarded quite a lot,” said Susie. “Whenever I tried to speak they always got angry at me, but they never explained why so it was really scary.”
Other factors, including thin walls and loud laminate floorboards, and staff constantly keeping the lights on throughout the house, meant that Susie was constantly in pain.
At times, she said, some of the untrained shift workers at the home – of whom four would usually be working at any time – would also hit her.
Furthering her isolation was the fact that Susie’s placement was about 80 miles outside of her local authority. It meant that contact with her mother, whose neglect had led her to be taken into care, was infrequent.
Her only constant point of contact outside of the children’s home was a social worker. “I tried to tell her what was going on. I think she didn’t have any autism training so we really struggled to communicate with each other,” she said.
Just four months into her placement, Susie reported a male care worker to police after claiming he had sexually assaulted her on two occasions.
“The police told my social worker and he was moved to a different group home, but everyone just got mad at me instead and blamed me for it,” she said, adding that she believed staff at the home were lying to her social worker to cover their own backs.
After withdrawing her complaint due to the pressure, Susie did not trust her social worker enough to tell her about the other abuse she was experiencing within the home.
Since leaving care, she has begun regular visits to a mental health professional, who recently diagnosed her with a trauma disorder. “She said it’s to do with the stuff that happened then because I have flashbacks a lot about it,” said Susie. “I’d never felt safe enough to tell anyone else about what was happening because they never really gave me the opportunity.”
Feeling confused about the diagnosis, she told a trusted adult working in autism advocacy about her experience. “I thought I was really bad because there were dozens of adults who were paid to make sure I was OK, and instead they hurt me. So I thought that there was something really wrong with me,” she said.
“But she called it serious child sexual, physical and emotional abuse and said that that wasn’t good. When she said that, it made me wonder if maybe what had happened wasn’t my fault. I thought that was quite nice of her to say.”

Kerala Records Highest Number Of Child Sexual Abuse Cases; Child Marriage Most Prominent
India Times
Kerala has recorded the highest number of child sexual abuse complaints in the country. According to 2018-19 data from Childline, a nationwide phone emergency outreach service for children in distress, Kerala recorded 1,742 complaints among Indian states. Tamil Nadu recorded 985 and Maharashtra recorded 443.
Supported by the Union ministry of women and child development, Childline “1098” covers 522 districts and 100 railways stations across India.
According to a report by The Times of India:
“In 2018-19, nearly 60,000 abuse complaints were received from across India,
of which those of child marriages topped the chart (37 per cent).
Physical abuse was next (27 per cent),
followed by sexual abuse (13 per cent),
emotional abuse (12 per cent)
and corporal punishment (4 per cent).
The top five districts that made child sexual abuse complaints were all from Kerala — Mallapuram, Thiruvananthpuram, Kozhikode, Ernakulam and Kollam.”
Child rights activist Priti Patkar told TOI: “There is a lot of awareness being created at different levels and so there are more people coming forward to report. There is also a lot of access to information and therefore more disclosure.”
And yet, it is still only the tip of the iceberg that gets reported, a small fraction.
Of the 7,684 child sexual abuse cases reported to Childline across the country, 35 per cent of them were neighbours. Friends, family, neighbours, relatives, teachers, step-parents, caretakers and employers together constitute 73 per cent of child sex abusers.
In 2018-19, Karnataka registered the most number of child labour complaints.
Of the 35,500 child labour complaints received nationwide, begging constituted the highest (40 per cent), followed by employment in restaurants and dhabas (21 per cent).

UK man jailed for 4 years for child sexual abuse offences
Kathy Bailes, Isle of Thanet News
A former Ramsgate man has been jailed after he was found guilty of child sexual abuse offences.
Dean Luckhurst, denied inciting a child to engage in sexual activity between February and March 2018 but was convicted following a trial at Maidstone Crown Court.
Today (December 24) he was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment followed by four years on extended licence.
The court heard how in November 2018 the 23-year-old contacted a girl from Swale on social media and struck up a relationship with her, initiating a sexual conversation through messaging. He also sent an indecent image of himself to her.
In February 2019, he arranged to meet the child at Teynham Railway Station. He then took her to a secluded wooded area a short walk from the station where he gave her cannabis and then abused her by penetration.
"By penetration" means he raped her, and he gets just 4 years. That is one pathetic idea of justice. He will be out while the child is probably still a child, and he will be a danger to so many others. Creeps like this need to be put away for much longer than that.
Luckhurst continued to send messages of a sexual nature to the victim with the intention of pursuing a sexual relationship until it was reported to Kent Police in March 2019. He was arrested in Margate on April 5,2019.
Investigating officer, Police Constable Jenny Boyden said: “These were abhorrent crimes committed by Dean Luckhurst, who manipulated a child in order to satisfy his sexual desires,
“I would like to pay tribute to any victim for having the courage to come forward with information that allows us to ensure people like Luckhurst are sent to prison. The outcome of this case will hopefully reassure all victims of sexual offences that we will always listen to you and provide you with all the necessary support as we investigate the offences that have been reported to us.”
Luckhurst will be on the Sex Offenders Register and subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order indefinitely.
Central Coast man facing 50 child sexual assault charges spanning nearly 40 years
A man is facing court charged with 50 sexual abuse offences allegedly committed against child relatives over a period of almost 40 years.
The 68-year-old man was arrested at a home on the Central Coast on Monday morning, following extensive police investigations into a report they received in May that a young girl was sexually assaulted by a man known to her.
During their investigation, officers from the state crime command received reports three more children – two girls and a boy – had been sexually assaulted by the man.
A spokeswoman for NSW Police confirmed all four children are relatives of the alleged perpetrator.
After his arrest, the man was taken to Gosford police station and charged with 50 offences relating to the sexual abuse of children – including sexual intercourse without consent, aggravated sexual assault and indecent assault with a victim under the age of 16, sexual intercourse with a child under 10, grooming a child under 14 years for unlawful sexual activity, and inciting a victim under 10 years to commit an indecent act.
He was refused bail to appear at Wyong Local Court on Tuesday.
Police will allege in court that the man sexually assaulted three girls – aged between seven and 15 – and a boy – aged between 10 and 23 – between 1981 and this year. It's alleged the assaults occurred in multiple different locations across NSW over that period.
Another pervert
Separately, another man will appear in court charged over the alleged sexual assault of a boy in Sydney in the mid-1980s.
Officers from Ryde Police Area Command commenced an investigation in November after receiving reports a child was sexually assaulted between 1984 and 1985 by a man known to him.
Police will allege the man sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy at a home in Marrickville after meeting at after-school cadet classes near Parramatta.
Detectives arrested a 63-year-old man at a home on Elsie Street, Earlwood, on Monday afternoon and took him to Burwood police station.
He was charged with homosexual intercourse with a male aged between 10 and 18 and refused bail to appear before Parramatta Bail Court on Tuesday.

Marc Horne, The Times
A fifth coach at Celtic FC’s feeder club has been accused of child sex abuse, The Times can disclose.
Four senior figures at Celtic Boys Club have been convicted of molesting dozens of young players over four decades.
Now Lyness Malley, a former coach and official with the boys’ club, has been accused of repeatedly abusing a young player at Barrowfield, a Glasgow training ground owned by the senior club. It is alleged he rubbed oil on a boy in the changing rooms on multiple occasions and touched his genitals and buttocks.
Mr Malley, 81, strongly denies the claims, insisting that they are malicious and motivated by a desire for revenge after he dropped his accuser from his team.
