Pastor, 2 Police Officers, Married Couple Lead Today's Disturbing USA Pervs n Pedos List

‘Pedophile who murdered girl, 9, while trying to rape her’ found dead in Colorado jail
New York Post

An accused pedophile killed a 9-year-old girl by giving her chloroform while trying to sexually assault her in a disturbing makeshift tent, according to an affidavit in Colorado.

Jeff Beagley, 34, had called 911 after finding the unidentified girl lifeless on Nov. 9, his screams waking up the girl’s mother who was elsewhere in the Grand Junction house, according to The Daily Sentinel, citing an arrest affidavit.

The girl died at the scene — with the cause of death later shown to be a fatal oral dose of chloroform, which is often used as a knock-out drug to facilitate sexual assault, police say.

Officers later found a bottle of chloroform with a rag in a disturbing makeshift tent inside a shed that had computers and cameras — and a heated area with blankets and pillows, according to the affidavit.

There were sex toys, masks and lubricants in the tent along with drops of blood, First Coast News also said of details from the affidavit.

Officers also found a thumb drive with “a lot of child porn” on it, the document says, saying there were 1,120 pictures and 73 videos, including some seemingly taken from a hidden camera.

Some of the photos and videos were of the 9-year-old victim, the report says, with no details given of their exact nature.

St Mary's Medical Center, Colorado

Other images allegedly depicted adult men having intercourse with female children with Beagley’s face inserted to replace the abuser’s, according to the documents.

In interviews, Beagley admitted to buying the chloroform, but he insisted it was for making Hemp. He denied knowing what was on the computers and thumb drive and denied any sexual activity in the shed, the affidavit said.

Beagley was charged earlier this month with first-degree murder, reckless manslaughter and child abuse resulting in death, police said in a release.

Other charges included attempted sex assault on a child by one in a position of trust, sexual exploitation of children and invasion of privacy for sexual gratification.

Jeff Beagley, 34, was found unresponsive in his cell at Mesa County Jail in Colorado Monday. He was rushed to St Mary’s Medical Center, where he later died. He is not believed to have fallen victim to foul play, but coroners have not said whether he died of natural causes or took his own life. A toxicology report is now pending.

Police worried about children being around Orem, UT, dentist with child sex abuse charges
..
"None of the parents are keeping them safe"

By Ashley Stilson Daily Herald

Detectives are concerned about the safety of numerous children after a young girl disclosed that an Orem man sexually abused her for months after he was charged with exposing himself to her and her younger sister.

Clark Elwood Crookston, 70, is a former dentist who has "unlimited" access to several children through his family relations, living in his neighborhood and attending his church congregation, police said last week in a probable cause report.

"The concern is high for any children that are around Clark," police stated. "None of the parents are keeping them safe and away from Clark."

Police say Crookston continues to claim his lewdness and sexual abuse is his way of teaching sex education, despite being told by officers and parents to stop.

Crookston allegedly began exposing himself to a girl and her younger sister more than five years ago, according to the charges. He also reportedly forced the younger sister to inappropriately touch him in 2014.

The girls' mother confronted him about the allegations at the time and Crookston told her "it was a teaching moment and he didn't want the girls to feel ashamed about it."

"(The mother) told him to not speak with her children about these matters again," charges state.

Two years later, police say Crookston showed one of the sisters an inappropriate picture. The parents confronted him again and Crookston reportedly agreed again not to talk about sex education with the children.

However, Crookston reportedly continued to expose himself several times to the older sister and showed her naked pictures of himself and other men in 2019, the charges state.

He was charged in March with two counts of dealing harmful materials to minors, both third-degree felonies; and two counts of lewdness involving a child, both class A misdemeanors.

During initial interviews with detectives, the older sister stated Crookston had not touched her or forced her to touch him. But a few weeks ago, the girl admitted to her mother that Crookston had been sexually abusing her "almost daily" from April to August.

The girls and their parents were living with Crookston and his wife at the time, police reported. Clark would request to put the children to bed and would lay in bed with the older sister. Then he would reportedly touch the girl inappropriately over and under clothing despite her objections.

Why would the parents agree to that, knowing what they knew? Good grief!

"Clark would specifically tell the child to use the blanket to hide what was going on under the blanket from her parents," police reported. "The child victim stated this occurred almost nightly during those nearly four months."

The abuse started again in November and continued until the girl told her mother in December.

Crookston was arrested on Dec. 18 but posted a $100,000 bond two days later, according to court documents. Five days later, Crookston was charged in 4th District Court with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, all first-degree felonies.

His next court date for all charges is set for Jan. 8. Detectives suspect and continue investigating whether the same type of abuse occurred with the younger sister.

Two adults have also come forward to investigators and stated they were sexually abused by Crookston during the past 30 years, although no further information was available on the police report regarding the allegations.

Crookston graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and had a Utah dentistry license from 2006 to 2010.

With the victim's permission, Scottsdale Police took over his Facebook profile and contacted Kropp through the Messenger app.

Police arrested Kropp and say they found child porn on his computer. He's charged with 14 felony counts.

Vernon, VT, pedophile re-charged with child sexual assault

By Bob Audette, Brattleboro Reformer

BRATTLEBORO — A Vernon man who spent more than six years in prison for possession of child sex abuse images and is now accused of sexually assaulting a child more than a decade ago was released from jail without bail.

Eric Achenbach, now 70 and living in Hartland, was ordered held without bail on Dec. 6 pending a weight of the evidence hearing. On Dec. 20, following that hearing, Achenbach walked out of jail without bail.

"We are glad that Judge [John] Treadwell applied the law to the facts and released Eric," wrote Windham County Public Defender Mimi Brill in an email to the Reformer. "These charges were raised and investigated 10 years ago and put to rest after a panoply of forensic testing. Now after much urging and prodding they have been re-raised, which is certainly disheartening. We are confident that justice will prevail in this case and that Eric will be cleared of these charges."

"The court considered the evidence and exercised its discretion to release defendant pending trial on strict conditions of release," wrote David Gartenstein, Windham County Deputy State's Attorney, in an email to the Reformer.

The federal case against Achenbach began in November 2008 when two deer hunters found images of child sexual abuse stored in a box underneath a wooden platform in the woods near Achenbach's house in Vernon. A subsequent search of Achenbach's home turned up more than 1,000 images of child sex abuse and erotica, including images of infants being sexually assaulted and of the defendant engaged in sexual conduct with a doll. Also found were pictures Achenbach had taken of two children, which he had digitally manipulated to create images of sex abuse.

In December 2011, Achenbach was sentenced to 79 months in federal prison on two counts of possessing and receiving images of child sex abuse.

In 2018, Achenbach was released from prison and moved to Hartland. As part of his federal sentencing, he sold his home on Fort Bridgman Road in Vernon and the proceeds went to his victims. But in late 2018, Achenbach was back in federal court after his parole officer said he had violated his conditions of supervised release by contacting two girls under the age of 18.

An investigation resulted in the charges filed in local court on Dec. 6 that he sexually assaulted a local girl between 2007 and 2008.

Achenbach taught in southern Vermont for more than 31 years. According to employment records, he was hired to teach digital media and computer graphics programming at Brattleboro High School in 1985. He was placed on administrative leave in December 2008 and surrendered his teaching license in January 2009. At the time of his 2008 arrest, investigators said there was no indication that he had committed any crimes against any of his students.

Bayard, Neb., Man Arrested on Child Sexual Assault,
Child Abuse Charges
BY Scott Miller KTIC

A 46-year-old Bayard man is facing a dozen felonies for alleged child abuse and child sexual assault committed over the course of 2019.

Morrill County Court documents say James Albrecht was charged Dec. 23 with ten counts of felony child abuse, one count of first degree sexual assault of a child and one count of strangulation after a Nebraska State Patrol investigation of allegations made after a woman and her five children fled to a Kearney shelter in early November of this year.

According to an arrest affidavit, the woman took the children after the youngest girl reported sexually molesting her younger brother in the same way Albrecht had molested the girl in July.

In forensic interviews, the five children recounted stories of the defendant sexually abusing of the youngest girl, as well as withholding food from the three oldest children, choking the oldest boy, and placing children in situations endangering their physical or mental health during the course of 2019.

Albrecht’s preliminary hearing was scheduled for January 8th, with bond set at $500,000 with a ten percent provision.

The child sexual assault charge carries a possible sentence of 20 years to life, and the 11 other charges each carry a possible sentence of up to three years, a $10,000 fine or both.

It would appear to be another case of a mother's boyfriend abusing her children. There are way too many stories like this on this blog. Mothers - please be more careful with whom you give access to your children.

Dunedin, Fla., man sentenced to 9 years
for child sex abuse images
By Steven Hirschfield, iontb.com

Tampa, Florida – U.S. District Judge Virginia M. Hernandez-Covington has sentenced 53 year-old Kelly Stephen Ratcliffe of Dunedin to nine years and two months in federal prison for receiving and possessing child pornography. In addition, Ratcliffe is ordered to pay $49,000 in restitution to the victims, and must forfeit the electronic devices that he used to commit the offenses.

Ratcliffe had pleaded guilty on September 19, 2019.

According to court documents, the FBI executed a search warrant at Ratcliffe’s residence in November 2018. Ratcliffe admitted that he had used his iPhone and iPad to access an internet application known to law enforcement to be used by individuals interested in sharing child sex abuse material, to communicate with others about the sexual abuse of children, and to receive, trade, and save child pornography.

A forensic review of Ratcliffe’s electronic devices revealed that he had received numerous images and videos of child pornography from other individuals online and that he possessed approximately 230 videos and over 800 images of child sex abuse material depicting the sadomasochistic conduct, bondage, and penile penetration of infants and toddlers.

Ratcliffe told other individuals that he liked child rape and liked them “crying” and “tied.” The forensic analysis of the devices also revealed that Ratcliffe had specifically sought out images and videos of toddlers being raped.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lisa M. Thelwell.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood.

9 years is not nearly enough for this sick monster. He should never be allowed to walk the streets again for the rest of his life. He's demonic, and prison will not make him any less so.

Nigerian Man Convicted of Child Sex Assault Dies
in ICE Custody in Maryland

(UPI)A Nigerian man has died in federal immigration custody in Maryland after being convicted days earlier of sexually assaulting a minor, authorities said.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said in a statement Monday that Anthony Oluseye Akinyemi, 56, was pronounced died Saturday morning after he was found unresponsive in his cell at the Worcester County Jail in Snow Hill, some 18 miles southeast of Salisbury, Md.

The preliminary cause of death is self-inflicted strangulation, ICE said, adding that the death is currently being investigated.

“ICE is firmly committed to the health and welfare of all those in its custody and is undertaking a comprehensive agency-wide review of this incident, as it does in all such cases,” it said. The review will be conducted by senior ICE leadership, it said.

Akinyemi had been in ICE custody less than 24 hours before his death, the statement said. He had entered ICE custody Friday after being convicted by a Baltimore City Circuit Court for the sexual assault of a minor.

In connection to his arrest for sexual abuse of a minor, ICE had lodged an immigration detainer against Akinyemi in July, it said, adding that he entered the United States lawfully in December 2017.

According to federal records, Akinyemi is the eighth person to die in ICE custody in 2019.

Locust Grove, VA, man charged with 19 counts
of child sexual abuse
Hilary Holladay, The Daily Progress

David Thompson, whose last known address was Locust Grove, has been charged with multiple counts of sexually abusing a child. Thompson was charged on Dec. 5 with 19 felonies dating back a decade.

During a hearing in Orange County Circuit Court last Thursday, Judge Dale Durrer agreed to the defense’s request for a mental competency examination to determine whether Thompson is fit to stand trial.

Thompson, 32, is due back in court on March 6 at 9:30 a.m.

The defendant has been accused of seven counts of aggravated sexual battery of a victim under the age of 13; three counts of raping a victim under the age of 13; seven counts of sexual penetration with an object; one count of aggravated sexual battery of a victim under 13; and one count of carnal knowledge without force of a victim age 13-14.

Orange County Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Katie Fitzgerald said there is one victim in the case, and the charges, covering a period beginning in 2009 and ending in 2016, represent Thompson’s “ongoing pattern of abuse” begun when the victim was under the age of 8.

Fitzgerald said investigators in Albemarle County contacted the Orange County Sheriff’s Office about Thompson due to crimes he allegedly committed in Orange County. Court records show that Thompson has been charged in Albemarle with one count of rape and one count of sexual penetration by an object, both allegedly taking place in 2014.

The defendant is currently in the Central Virginia Regional Jail. He is represented by David Randall, who was recently appointed by the court to serve as his attorney.

Ex-Sheriff's Lieutenant Gets Life Terms for
Child Sex Abuse in Missouri
By The Associated Press

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A former southwest Missouri sheriff's lieutenant has been sentenced to six consecutive life terms for sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl.

Greene County Judge David Jones said during sentencing Friday that he hopes 68-year-old David Hastings never leaves prison, the Springfield News-Leader reported.

"You should never be released to do this to another child," Jones said.

God bless you, Judge Jones.

Jurors found Hastings guilty in October of 11 felonies, including statutory rape, statutory sodomy and child molestation.

Assistant Greene County Prosecutor Stephanie Wan said Hastings groomed the victim before sexually abusing her for more than a year. Wan said Hastings, who maintains his innocence, has never taken responsibility for his actions.

"He is a complete and utter danger to the community," Wan said.

Hastings plans to appeal, according to his attorney, who asked for a 10-year prison sentence.

Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott told the News-Leader in 2018 that Hastings did not leave the sheriff's office on "good terms," but that he left before Arnott became sheriff in 2009.
