What we know

David Allen Francescutti was sentenced to 40 years in prison without the possibility of parole after relatives bravely detailed the abuse in court.

The trial opened with the victim recounting the abuse on the witness stand. Prosecutors then called two other relatives of Francescutti, who testified that he had also molested them when they were younger. During the investigation, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant for the man's cellphone and discovered numerous photos and videos of child sexual abuse material, including one photo that Francescutti made himself.

What they're saying

During the sentencing hearing, the victims and family members read emotional impact statements detailing how the crimes altered their lives. District Attorney Randy McGinley praised the courage of those who came forward to stop the abuse.

"Three brave young women came into court to testify about the Defendant's abuse. Because of them, the Defendant has been held responsible for his actions and now will serve decades in prison. I also want to thank the Monroe Police Department and Gwinnett Police Department detectives and officers for their hard work on this case," McGinley said.

PA State College man sentenced for large CSAM cache

State College, Pa. — A State College man was sentenced for possessing over 8,000 pieces of child sex abuse material.

Jeffrey Stormer, 64, was sentenced on May 27 to eight years and one month of imprisonment to be followed by 10 years of supervised release on charges of distribution and possession of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pa. announced.

Stormer was also ordered to pay $9,000 of total restitution to child victims depicted in the images.

Stormer pleaded guilty on Dec. 22, 2025, to charges of distributing child pornography on Jan. 5, 2023, and possessing child pornography from April 2022 to February 2023.

Following an investigation, a search warrant was executed at Stormer’s residence, and several electronic devices were seized.

A forensic analysis of the devices revealed that Stormer had “shareable folders” on one of his computers depicting child pornography that was transmitted on an online platform over 900 times.

These files included approximately 8,000 images and 250 videos of minor children posed in sexually explicit positions or engaged in sexual acts.

The Department of Homeland Security investigated the case.
