CSA in the USA > Child Sex Exploitation - Roblox, Snapchat; Missouri man arrested for CSAM; OK couple arrested for soliciting 14 y/o; Pedo dies in Alabama prison

Valeed Anjum | Snapchat & Roblox Child Sexual Exploitation

Children should be able to play a game or message friends without an adult targeting them for sexual exploitation. The allegations against Valeed Anjum of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, demand attention from families and hard questions about the online spaces children use.

Bensalem police arrested Anjum, 27, on October 1, 2026. Investigators allege he used Snapchat and Roblox to contact children ages 10 to 15 and identified at least five victims across the United States. Police believe additional children may have been affected.

For families reading this news, one message matters immediately: a child who experiences sexual exploitation deserves protection and support, never blame.

What Are the Allegations Against Valeed Anjum?

According to Bensalem police, Anjum allegedly sent sexually explicit photographs to minors and, in some instances, paid children to send explicit photographs of themselves.

Authorities charged him with multiple counts of unlawful contact with a minor and sexual abuse of a child, criminal use of a communication facility, and related offenses.

An October 7 report from 6abc states that Anjum also faces charges in Gloucester County, New Jersey. Investigators allege he sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl whom police found with him inside a vehicle.

These charges are allegations. Anjum is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Police Ask Families to Check for These Account Names

Bensalem police identified the alias “Puma” and the Snapchat usernames “poomdoom69” and “brain.rotty.”

Anyone with information about these accounts, or who believes their child had contact with Anjum through Snapchat or Roblox, should contact our firm right away and a trauma informed Pennsylvania Sexual Abuse Attorney can assist.

Recognizing a username does not establish what happened. It does provide a reason to speak calmly with your child and share relevant information with investigators.

Online Sexual Exploitation Is Abuse

Sending a child sexual images or pressuring a child to produce them is not harmless online behavior. An offer of money does not erase exploitation or shift responsibility onto the child.

Families should resist questions that sound like accusations: Why did you answer? Why did you send that? Why didn’t you tell me?

Start instead with: “I’m glad you told me. This is not your fault. We will get help together.”

A child should not have to fear punishment to ask for protection.

Platform Accountability Deserves Scrutiny

The allegations identify two widely used platforms: Roblox and Snapchat. That makes questions about child safety necessary.

How did the alleged contact occur? What protections applied to the accounts involved? Did anyone submit reports? What records remain available to investigators?

Those questions require evidence. The reporting reviewed for this blog does not establish that either company knew about Anjum’s alleged conduct or bears legal responsibility for it.

But families deserve meaningful answers about how online services respond when adults allegedly use them to reach children. Safety measures must work where children actually interact.

What Parents Can Do If They Suspect Contact

Your first response can help a child feel safe enough to keep talking.

  • Listen without interrogating. Let your child explain in their own words. Avoid repeated demands for details.
  • Record account information. Note usernames, profile links, dates, and relevant payment information. Ask investigators how to preserve devices and messages.
  • Do not copy or circulate sexual images of children. Do not forward them to relatives, school staff, or an attorney.
  • Do not confront the suspected offender. Contact police for guidance.
  • Report suspected exploitation. In addition to local police, families can use the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s CyberTipline, which accepts reports of suspected online enticement and child sexual exploitation. missingkids.org

If a child faces immediate danger, call 911.

Help When Sexual Images Are Online

Families do not have to navigate image removal alone. NCMEC offers assistance with reporting sexually exploitative images and seeking their removal.

Its Take It Down service can help limit the spread of nude or sexually explicit images taken before someone turned 18 on participating public or unencrypted services. It cannot guarantee removal everywhere. Do not download or ask someone to send an image to use the service.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many children have investigators identified?

Bensalem police reported at least five victims across the United States and believe there may be others.

What if my child accepted money or sent an image?

Respond with support. Those circumstances do not make a child responsible for an adult’s exploitation. Share your concerns with investigators and seek help for your child.

Can families explore a civil case?

Families can ask an attorney to evaluate their circumstances. Any potential claim depends on the evidence, applicable law, and the conduct of each proposed defendant. Criminal charges alone do not establish a civil claim against a platform.

Branson man arrested for child sex crimes and possession of CSAM in Pettis County

A man from Branson, Missouri, was arrested on Friday for suspected child sex crimes in Pettis County.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office investigated 20-year-old Roman Edward Ryan for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile.

Ryan had been staying over at the reporting party's home for the week where they and their child reside.

The child also had a 14-year-old friend come over during this time frame. The reporting party later became suspicious of a potential relationship between the juvenile friend and the man.

They claimed to have discovered several nude images of Ryan on the phone that had been sent to the 14-year-old victim, as well as Child Sex Abuse Materials (CSAM) of the child.

Deputies later spoke with the man, who allegedly admitted to sending and receiving the sexually explicit content and CSAM. Ryan also admitted to knowing that the victim was 14 years of age.

He was charged with two counts of Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child Under 15 and Possession of CSAM - Possesses More Than 20 Materials.
