Thirteen arrested in child sex abuse investigation

Twelve men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of alleged historical child sexual exploitation offences.

West Yorkshire Police said the men, aged between 42 and 59, and a 60-year-old woman were arrested at a series of addresses in Bradford in March and April.

The force said the alleged offences were said to have been committed against a single victim between 2000 and 2005 when she was aged between 13 and 17.

All 13 have been bailed pending further inquiries.

Det Ch Insp Vicky Greenbank said: "These arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into non-recent sexual offences against a child in the Bradford area.

"We hope that investigations like this show we take all reports of sexual abuse seriously and you will be supported by officers with experience of dealing with these kind of offences."

Further reports will almost certainly reveal that these men are primarily, if not entirely Pakistani.

Rotherham grooming gang predators received over £600k in legal funds

The legal costs have been revealed just days after Labour appeared to backtrack on its promise to deliver an independent inquiry into child sexual abuse

Members of a Rotherham grooming gang received over £600,000 in legal help, GB News can reveal.

A total of £611,204 in aid was splashed out on the predators - with the gang's ringleader receiving a total of £143,696 in funding.

In this case, seven defendants were convicted and handed a jail sentence for 101 years in 2018 for their abuse of five girls in Rotherham between 1998 and 2005.

Patrick Christys revealed on his GB News show: “The taxpayer-funded legal aid paid to the legal representatives acting for a single Rotherham grooming gang has topped £600,000.

“The costs are set to soar further. Ringleader Mohammed Imran Ali Akhtar was handed a whopping £143,500 to fund his defence at trial between 2017 to 2019.

“These are new figures released in a Freedom of Information request. He was caged for 23 years in 2018 for a string of previous sex offences against young girls, but that total I outlined there does not include costs for a separate trial last year, in which he was handed a further 12-year stretch for raping a vulnerable 13-year-old girl he had plied with drugs and alcohol.

“His sentence is set to run concurrently.”

How stupid is that? It's a freeby for Ali Aktar and it means the 13 y/os rape was worth nothing in the eyes of the judge, the victim, and the rapist.

The funding that he has racked up does not include his time going on trial for another conviction for raping a 13-year-old girl after he plied her with drugs and alcohol.

Meanwhile, a further five perpetrators - who were each jailed for around 10 and 20 years - received up to £99,168 in legal aid, while the seventh gang member was given £90,849.

All - excluding one defendant - were found guilty of rape.

One convict fell asleep while victims' impact statements were read out to the court.

Victims statements have no impact on Muslims who think they have the Quran-given right to rape little British girls.

Police are now dealing with 10 major probes into claims of historical child sex abuse at institutions in Derbyshire.

The allegations centre on children's homes, a hospital and even sports clubs.

Officers had already confirmed they were looking at claims of abuse at the former Aston Hall mental hospital, near Derby, and the ex-children's homes Elmhurst in Littleover and Overseal Manor in South Derbyshire.

In total, seven relate to children's homes. There is probe into an eighth institution that is not a children's home. In addition, there are two more inquiries which are “sport-related", at least one of which is believed to involve a sports club, according to a report put before police bosses.

The Derby Telegraph can reveal that the force's Public Protection Major Investigation Team is carrying out the investigations.

One hundred and five people have contacted the force to claim they were abused at the hospital in Aston-on-Trent, following a Derby Telegraph investigation into allegations children were experimented on. The site is now a housing estate.

A spokesman for Derbyshire police confirmed it was now one of 10 major historical abuse inquiries.

One is understood to be Elmhurst Children's Home in Lonsdale Place in Derby. Police said a pensioner had been arrested on suspicion of historical sexual offences linked to the home which are alleged to have happened in the 70s and 80s. A file has been passed to prosecutors.

A police report said the 10 investigations come after historical sexual abuse allegations have rocketed.

It reads: “The investigations vary from children's homes to sports clubs and include Aston Hall Hospital, the latter having received considerable media interest. Each investigation is progressing with senior investigator oversight."

The report also said “numerous referrals" had been made to police which could not be progressed due to the suspect not being known or the complainant wanting to remain anonymous.

Clare Vickers, head of advocacy and support at the charity Supporting Victims of Sexual Violence, said it was working with several people who said they suffered historical abuse.

She said: “It's brilliant that these victims have found the courage to come forward and report what happened to them to the police and they have launched these major investigations. Police are taking these reports very seriously. It's a very difficult subject. Coming forward and getting support can really help. It can give victims a sense of being believed for the first time.

“However, although it is called historical abuse, because of its nature, it can sometimes the pain can feel like it's happening right now. It can be blocked out of people's minds but can also return. That's when they need help and support. It can only be stored away for so long."

Dianne Collins, a solicitor at Nelsons Solicitors in Derby, is representing around 20 alleged victims of Aston Hall.

She said: “We are experienced at dealing with child abuse claims and getting victims of abuse justice. We can help with any claim they want to make. Getting justice is an important part of their recovery."

A total of 179 cases of child sexual exploitation (CSE) are being investigated in Keighley and Bradford, West Yorkshire Police has said.

The cases involve 165 suspects and more than 100 victims.

A police spokesperson said many cases had "multiple suspects and multiple victims" but there was also a large number involving single suspects.

Last year, 12 men were jailed for their part in the abuse of a single victim in Keighley.

Eleven were jailed at Bradford Crown Court after being convicted of raping the girl from the age of 13 and another man was sentenced for sexual activity with her.

'Abhorrent crime'

The CSE figures, which were given to the Keighley News and confirmed to the BBC by police, compare with last year's figure of 220 cases.

There were 261 suspects under investigation at the same time in 2016.

A police spokesperson said: "West Yorkshire Police and partners have been proactive in their approach to encourage victims to come forward and reassure them that all reports will be taken seriously.

"We have developed a far greater understanding of CSE than in the past and this has led to rapid action to prioritise resources to improve the identification and prosecution of perpetrators of this abhorrent crime."

Front-line gardaí will no longer investigate rapes or child sexual abuse under radical policing reforms.

Instead, all such crimes will be investigated by small specialist Garda teams in every Garda division, the first four of which began operating on Friday.

The development was recommended by the Garda Inspectorate and is part of Garda Commissioner Nóirín O’Sullivan’s modernisation and reform programme.

It will bring to an end the much-criticised practice of most sex crimes being investigated by the Garda member who responded to the initial emergency call.

This practice often resulted in gardaí with no specialist training or expertise, and in some cases little experience, investigating rapes or domestic violence cases, leading to poor outcomes and low conviction rates.

The Garda Inspectorate found one third of domestic violence cases were not recorded, in any way, by the Garda.

However, the Garda National Protective Services Bureau is now establishing divisional protective services units in all 28 Garda divisions.

The first four 15-member teams began operating on Friday in the Louth, Cork and the Dublin West divisions. Their work will be monitored and reviewed for the next 12 months. At the end of that initial period, the remaining teams will be rolled out.

Each will be led by an inspector, with two sergeants and about 12 rank-and-file detectives.

Combating human trafficking

The Garda personnel assigned to the units have already been trained for the inquiries they will undertake and most are experienced in the area.

However, a system of continuous professional development modules is also planned. These are being delivered by a selection of NGOs including Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, One in Four and National Women’s Council of Ireland.

Some 44 Garda personnel have already been assigned to the divisional teams in Cabra, Clondalkin, Dundalk and Anglesea Street, Cork.

Later this month, they will receive a module of training on combating human trafficking.

They will also investigate sex crimes, online exploitation of children, domestic violence, human trafficking, organised prostitution, children missing in care and will run sex offender management.

Det Supt Declan Daly of the Garda National Protective Services Bureau said the protective services divisional teams would be managed locally and were a “ring fenced resource” for the investigation of sex crimes.

However, the units would receive support, guidance and training from the Dublin-based bureau.

He believed the specialisation of sexual violence investigative work would have a range of positive effects, including jailing more sex offenders.

“For us, increasing the conviction rates is important but they are not the only consideration,” he said. “It’s also about how with interact with victims and their satisfaction levels.

“If we deliver a consistent and professional approach the natural knock-on effect is a great satisfaction level from victims, increased support of them and more prosecutions and convictions.”

Domestic violence

Supt Daly said a domestic violence incident reported to the Garda in the early hours of the morning would be responded to by local gardaí on duty.

And those Garda personnel may continue to investigate the incident and deal with the victim long after the call-out. The same was true for some sexual assaults.

However if the same victim, for example, reported domestic violence more than once, or if the case involved a very extreme act of domestic violence or sexual assault, the divisional protective services unit would take over the investigation.

In the case of other sex crimes, they would be investigated exclusively by the divisional units and never by regular gardaí.

“All child sexual abuse cases will be dealt with by the divisional units, all rapes will be investigate by the units,” Supt Daly said.

“And that’s important because we will have specialist staff delivering that service to some of the most vulnerable people in our society.”

He said it was imperative that the 12-month trial now under way be used to perfect the rollout in 2018 of all protective services divisional units in the 28 Garda divisions nationwide.

“The whole concept is to deliver a consistent and professional approach to the investigation of specialist crime types,” he said.

“A person walking into a Garda station to report a sexual crime or domestic violence in, say, Louth, will get the very same professional service as somebody in Galway, Kilkenny, or any part of the country.”

Six men have been arrested on suspicion of historical child sex abuse.

A 38-year-old man was the latest person to be arrested by police today (1st June).

It's part of an inquiry being held by the detectives investigating the death of teenager Charlene Downes.

Officers are still looking to find Charlene's body

The man from HMP Preston is the sixth man arrested on suspicion of a series of historical rapes in 2003 and 2004 against a 15-year-old girl.

Five other men from Blackburn, aged 33, 36, 37, 42 and 45, were also arrested on suspicion of historical rapes.

The 37-year-old has been released without charge while the others have been released under investigation.

Meanwhile, Michael Allen McKenzie from Blackpool has been charged with the rape and two penetrative indecent assaults of a girl under 16 as part of a separate enquiry.

The 68-year-old allegedly committed the offences in 2003 and involved a girl who was 14-years-old at the time.

The arrests and charges have been made by the team looking into the disappearance and murder of Charlene Downs in 2003.

Officers offered a £100,000 reward for information that would lead to the killer or killers' conviction or the recovery of her body.

But nobody has ever been brought to justice.

Orient man arrested on charges of child

An Orient, IL man was arrested this week on charges of sexual abuse and solicitation of a child.

According to a news release from the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Austin Berkley, 24, was arrested around 3 p.m. Wednesday by Franklin County deputies. 

Berkley was arrested at his home on a warrant alleging the crimes of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child and indecent solicitation of a child. The victim is a 15-year-old high school student, according to the news release. According to Judici, Berkley is charged with six counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child older than 5 and four counts of indecent solicitation.

Berkley is being held in the Franklin County Jail on $80,000 bond and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. June 21 at the Franklin County Courthouse in Benton.

The news release said this arrest is a part of an ongoing investigation and that more arrests and charges are possible.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) -- Prosecutors want a judge to jail former Penn State President Graham Spanier for his conviction in hushing up suspected child sex abuse in 2001 by Jerry Sandusky, saying he could have prevented other boys from being victimized by the former assistant football coach.

In a court filing unsealed Thursday, the Pennsylvania attorney general's office also assailed two one-time Penn State administrators for their testimony in Spanier's March trial after they pleaded guilty in the case.

Sentencing for all three men is Friday in Dauphin County court.

Prosecutors said state sentencing guidelines indicate that Spanier should get up to a year in jail for his child endangerment conviction.

"The child who was assaulted in the February 2001 shower incident and all of Sandusky's victims that followed were particularly harmed as timely, appropriate action against Sandusky could have prevented their victimization," prosecutors wrote in the 14-page sentencing memorandum. "Their lives have been turned upside down."

They also say that, to this day, the identity of the boy seen in the shower with Sandusky "is still in question" in part because Spanier and the other two men -- ex-athletic director Tim Curley and ex-vice president Gary Schultz -- did not alert authorities.

Curley and Schultz each pleaded guilty to child endangerment.

Spanier's four-day trial revolved around a complaint by a graduate coaching assistant, Mike McQueary, who has testified that he told Penn State officials -- including the late football coach Joe Paterno -- about seeing Sandusky sexually molesting a boy in a team shower in 2001.

Sandusky was not arrested until 2011, after an anonymous tip led prosecutors to investigate. Sandusky was convicted the next year of sexually abusing 10 boys and is serving 30 to 60 years in prison. At least four victims at Sandusky's trial said they were molested after 2001.

Curley, Schultz and Spanier denied they were told the encounter in the shower was sexual in nature.

It wasn't the first time the men had heard a complaint about Sandusky. Prosecutors cited a 1998 complaint against Sandusky over his showering with a boy on campus that led to a campus police investigation, but no charges. Sandusky admitted hugging the youngster in the shower, and promised never to shower with a boy again.

In a separate filing, Spanier's lawyer said the 68-year-old is suffering from prostate cancer and heart problems, and asked for probation and community service.

"Graham Spanier has already suffered severely through public shaming, loss of employment, and significant reputational harm," Spanier's lawyers wrote. "He is almost seventy years old and in worsening health."

Prosecutors said they had agreed not to recommend sentences for Curley and Schultz. But, in the filing, they wrote that Curley's forgetfulness during his testimony in Spanier's trial wasn't credible, and that his memory was "markedly more clear" in his private statement to investigators a week before he testified.

"The commonwealth's position is that Curley's testimony in the Spanier trial was designed to protect those who deserved to share blame with Curley for the decisions that led to the colossal failure to protect children from Sandusky," prosecutors wrote. "His `forgetfulness' also allowed him to save face in a room full of supporters who publicly called this trial a `witch hunt' and fraudulent prosecution."

Prosecutors also attacked Schultz, saying it defied common sense that he seemed unwilling to acknowledge the sexual nature of what McQueary reported, given what Schultz knew about the 1998 incident.

Paterno was never charged with a crime. He was dismissed as coach days after Sandusky was charged and died of cancer in 2012 at age 85.

Fishguard man jailed for historical child sex abuse

A 45-year-old man from Pembrokeshire has been been jailed for historical sex offences against a child.

Brian Buckle of Fishguard was convicted of child sex abuse in the 1990s, when his victim was aged between eight and 10-years-old.

Swansea Crown Court sentenced him to a combined 33 years in prison, to be served over a 15 year period.

He was found guilty of 16 counts of non-recent sexual abuse against a child.

Dyfed-Powys Police Det Insp Richard Yelland said the sentence recognised "long-lasting harm" to the victim.

He added: "This is the second case for the force, in recent weeks, where a significant custodial sentence has been passed down to a perpetrator of non-recent sexual offending."

A judge on Wednesday sentenced Clarence Garretson to life in prison for sexually abusing children

Clarence C. Garretson will spend the rest of his life in federal prison for a series of sexual abuse crimes committed on children under this care as a foster parent for the Arkansas Department of Human Services.

Chief Judge P.K. Holmes III imposed the life sentence on Garretson, 66, Wednesday in the U.S. District Court of Western Arkansas for his conviction on one count of transporting a minor in interstate commerce with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.

Garretson was also sentenced to a term of 15 years imprisonment each on four counts of transporting minors in interstate commerce with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, with those terms to run concurrently with the life sentence.

More than 45 people attended the sentencing of the Van Buren man who pleaded guilty in October to five of the 11 sexual abuse charges that occurred over the course of nearly two decades. With a “rider waiver” from C&T Trucking Co. in Van Buren so a minor could accompany him on a trip Garretson took a 10-year-old girl in 2014 on a trip and raped her, according to court documents.

“What occurred was under the guise of being a foster parent and adoptive parent he committed torture and sexual assault when the children were looking for a place of safety,” Holmes said. “It was an extreme failure on DHS’s part and further victimized the children with the most horrific criminal acts.”

Holmes said he recognized the difficulty for DHS in dealing with deception, but pointed out a female victim had told DHS on three occasions she had been sexually abused beginning when she was 11.

Several of Garretson’s victims, both adopted children and former foster children, read impact statements at the sentencing hearing Wednesday. Each voiced their contempt for Garretson’s use of intimidation to control them and the psychological repercussions they continue to experience as a result of the abuse: Anxiety, lack of self-esteem, nightmares, alcohol and drug abuse, trust issues with males or authority figures and fear of people in general.

“It’s a hurt you can never forget,” a female victim said.

One of Garretson’s victims said he had threatened to kill her younger brother if she exposed the sexual abuse.

“I felt lost, confused, alone, bullied, mad, sad, angry,” a woman who had been abused by Garretson said. “The truth is Arkansas DHS put me in the hands of a monster. Nothing can be done to change that, but he can rot in a federal prison for the rest of his life. There is no excuse to abuse a child.”

A male victim adopted by the Garretsons said in his statement that the investigation into his adoptive parents exposed them as “hypocrites” and he is regaining his self-confidence through therapy.

“Don’t let this dictate your life,” he said to the other sexual abuse victims. “This is the beginning of a new life.”

Concerning the defendant’s wife, the judge said “if she didn’t know she should have. ... It’s such a sad case.”

In 1998, Garretson and his wife were approved by DHS to operate a foster home and later to become an adoptive home.

The FBI special agent learned DHS had received a report in 2002 from a foster child then living in the home that she had been sexually assaulted by Garretson. Based on that information, the agent began locating children who had been in foster care at the Garretson residence.

A second minor interviewed in June 2016 was a foster child in the Garretson home from 2000 to 2004, which led to another Class C felony rape charge for Garretson. At the time of the offense, the girl was over 13 years of age but less than 18.

In 1999, a boy and his two older sisters were sent to the Garretson home by DHS. They were legally adopted by the Garretsons in 2001. The boy was 11 in 2001 when he went out on a long-distance trip with Garretson and was sexually assaulted. This happened on multiple trips during summer vacation from school in 2002 and 2003.

Also in 1999, DHS placed a fifth victim and her two siblings in the Garretson home and she remained there until 2004. The minor was interviewed by an FBI special agent in July 2016 and disclosed she was sexually assaulted by Garretson on an over-the-road trip to California during the summer of 2000 when she was 13 years old.

Legal proceedings against Greville Janner have ended after six men dropped their civil claim of child sexual abuse against the late Labour peer.

The claimants’ lawyers, Slater and Gordon, said the case was likely to have been difficult to win because of the historical nature of the claims and they would instead focus on working with the national child abuse inquiry.

Janner’s son Daniel, a QC, previously threatened legal action to prevent the allegations against his father being included in the the independent inquiry into child sexual abuse. But Richard Scorer, specialist abuse lawyer at Slater and Gordon, said the firm had been given reassurance that they would be heard.

“With the civil cases, we knew that we would have a fight on our hands in achieving this because the civil action was launched so long after their alleged abuse,” he said.

“But we recognised how important it was for our clients to take this action after the failure of four separate criminal investigations."

“After a period of uncertainty regarding the inquiry, our clients have now received categorical assurances from Baroness Jay [the inquiry chair] that she will hear the allegations of abuse by the late Lord Janner as part of her wide-reaching inquiry, and that the actions of the various agencies involved will be scrutinised in detail."

“As a result, our clients will focus their efforts on working with the inquiry to discover the truth of what really happened rather than continue to fight the civil cases against Janner’s estate, which are at risk of being ruled out of time.”

Allegations against Janner first emerged publicly in 1991, but no action was taken. In 2015, the Crown Prosecution Service concluded that there was enough evidence to merit prosecution but it deemed such a prosecution not in the public interest because Janner was suffering from dementia. This decision was overturned on review and a trial of the facts, on 22 sexual offences dating back to the 1960s against nine boys and men, was scheduled for April 2016. However, this process was halted by Janner’s death in December 2015, aged 87.

Prosecutors initially suggested the trial could go ahead posthumously but subsequently said they would not pursue the case.

In a joint statement given to the Sunday Times by Janner’s three children, Daniel, 60, Laura, 53, and Marion, 57, they said: “We want to thank all those who stood by our family through this nightmare. The allegations against our late father were wholly unsubstantiated and an appalling injustice.

“Although our beloved father never lived to see the claimants abandon each and every one of their claims, we now have the peace of mind that our father’s reputation as a man who devoted his life to good has been restored.”

They said one of the reasons they had wanted the allegations against their father removed from the scope of the inquiry was that its terms would not allow for witnesses to be cross-examined by the family’s lawyers.

SAN ANTONIO - A Texas man is facing child sex abuse charges after a girl was caught accessing pornography on a school iPad to learn more about what he does to her, according to an affidavit filed by police.

The 9-year-old told a teacher at San Antonio’s Elm Creek Elementary School that Anthony Garay sexually abused her "all the time at night," according to KSAT and the Houston Chronicle.

The shocked teacher reportedly called Child Protective Services, who interviewed the child. After the interview, police arrested Garay, 31. He’s been investigated – but not charged – by CPS in prior sexual abuse cases.

The young girl also told officials that Garay had been assaulting her since she was 7 or 8 years old and had done the same thing to her sister. 

Garay was subsequently charged with a first-degree felony for continuous sexual abuse of a child. He is being held on $75,000 bond in the Bexar County Jail.

Three more men charged in Rotherham

Three men have been charged as part of an investigation into child sexual exploitation and abuse in Rotherham.

Asghar Bostan, 47, of East Bawtry Road, Rotherham, is accused of raping a female.

Two more Bradford men were charged with two other offences.

Both men had their charges dismissed for lack of evidence.

Of course, all appear to be of Pakistani origin.

The crimes are alleged to have taken place in the town between 2003 and 2006, the National Crime Agency said.

All three are due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates Court on 21 June.

The two men mentioned above both faced charges of taking a child away from a responsible person and intentionally arranging or facilitating the travel of a female for the purposes of sexual abuse. The men have been charged under the agency's Operation Stovewood, which has 63 suspects on its list.

Charges were dropped against both men in March 2018. I have removed their names at their request, however, they can be found at the link above.

A total of 15 men have been arrested, of which six have been charged.

Former record producer and presenter Jonathan King has been charged with 18 historic sexual offences, alleged to have taken place in the 1970s and 80s.

King was charged by Surrey Police on Thursday (May 25, in connection with offences as part of Operation Ravine - the force's investigation into alleged sexual offences connected to the Walton Hop Disco, a teenage disco which ran from 1958 until 2001.

The 72-year-old from Bayswater in London has been charged with 18 sexual offences, which occurred between 1970 and 1986 and relate to nine victims.

He has been released on bail to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday (June 26).

Operation Ravine was established in early 2015 following a review by Merseyside Police into the Surrey Police investigation entitled Operation Arundel that launched in 2000.

The independent review was commissioned in January 2014 to ensure all lines of inquiry had been identified.

A number of actions have subsequently been progressed under Operation Ravine leading to new allegations of sexual offences being identified.

A Somersworth man is accused of using a mobile app to lure girls into sending him nude pictures, prosecutors said Thursday.

Matthew Felton is facing three counts of producing child pornography. He appeared in federal court Thursday.

"Mr. Felton is charged with three counts of producing child pornography involving three separate victims, three separate minor victims," acting U.S. Attorney John Farley said.

Farley said the incidents took place in 2014 and 2015. Felton is accused of posing as a female modeling photographer who would approach victims on Kik, a free messaging app for mobile devices, according to an affidavit filed for a search warrant.

The paperwork went on to say that Felton would ask the minors for naked photos to ensure they were not camera shy.

"If convicted, each count carries a minimum of 15 years in prison with up to 30 years in prison," Farley said.

Investigators said they were able to determine Felton's user name, and they discovered that his account sent and received more than 14,000 images, with many of them showing minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

"We are very concerned with protecting children's childhoods and not seeing children exploited, and any time we have an opportunity to prosecute an individual who is exploiting children, we are going to try to do that to the fullest extent of the law," Farley said.

Felton will remain in custody pending his trial, which is set to begin Aug. 1.

A man has been charged with sexually abusing his daughter, 17, and niece, 10, on live Skype conference calls with international groups.

The man was arrested by the Jakarta Police in Kutai Kertanegara, East Kalimantan, on May 6 as a part of their Operation Candy 2, an operation conducted by the city police's special crimes directorate to combat child pornography.

"Before doing it, he informed his Skype group by saying 'we will start the show'," the special crimes directorate head Wahyu Hadiningrat said on Wednesday.

He is alleged to have molested his daughter since she was 2 years old. He had also allegedly abused his disabled niece since she was 7 years old and screened his actions on Skype.

Wahyu said the suspect, who had been monitored by the police for a month, was a member of seven Skype groups that consisted of people from countries including the US, Mexico and Argentina, who sought child pornography.

He also spread child pornography via Whatsapp and Telegraph messenger groups.

Wahyu said the man committed the alleged crimes purely for pleasure.

He has been charged with violating pornography, child protection and electronic information and communication laws.

Tulsa Police Arrest Man For Child Sex Abuse

TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa police arrested a man for child sex abuse. Police took Anthony Henson into custody Tuesday.

Investigators say he sexually and physically abused a young female relative and physically abused a male relative.

According to reports, the female told police Henson showed her adult and child pornography then had her perform sex acts on him. She said he also performed sex acts on her.

She also told police Henson took photos of her.

The report says Henson admitted he also caused physical injuries to both the female and male. Police said both had injuries consistent with being hit by a belt.

A Joplin man will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a 3-year-old boy. 

Prosecutors say 23-year-old Andrew Wasson molested the child in February 2016 while the boy was in his care. 

By pleading guilty to first-degree statutory sodomy, prosecutors agreed to drop the second count of statutory sodomy and cap his term to no more than 20 years in prison. 

Wasson will be sentenced on June 26.

Four people have been charged with sexual offences after an investigation into abuse at a Carmarthen children's home and school.

Two men, aged 61 and 71, and two women, 54 and 68, face charges including sexual assault and rape.

Dyfed Powys Police has confirmed the charges were linked to Operation Almond, which looked into allegations of physical and sexual abuse of children at Rhydygors School in Carmarthen during the years spanning 1976 to 1986, and Cartref-Y-Gelli between 1986 and 1990.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman said: “The investigation has concluded and Dyfed Powys Police can now confirm that, following advice from CPS:

“A 61-year-old man, from Carmarthenshire, has been charged with nine offences of indecent assault and three offences of attempt indecent assault.

"He will appear at Llanelli Magistrates Court on the June 15, 2017. The offence locations were in the Carmarthen and Hereford area.

“A 71-year-old man, from Carmarthenshire, has been served with a summons to appear at Llanelli Magistrates Court on the July 20, 2017, for an offence of rape. The offence location was in the North Wales area.

“A 68-year-old woman from Carmarthenshire, has been served with a summons to appear at Llanelli Magistrates Court on the August 31, 2017, for two offences of indecent assault.

"The offence location was in the Carmarthen area.

“A 54-year-old woman from Essex, has been served with a summons to appear at Llanelli Magistrates Court on the August 31, 2017, for an offence of indecent assault.

"The offence location was in the Carmarthen area.

"Dyfed Powys Police worked closely with partner agencies and other forces as part of this investigation and the safety, welfare and protection of vulnerable people remain an absolute priority of all the organisations involved.”
