A woman and a man accused of videotaping themselves engaged in explicit acts with an 8-year-old girl have pleaded guilty to Tulsa County charges including child sexual abuse and manufacturing child pornography.
Gloria Tiger, 44, and Ahmad Murphy Jenkins, 41, have waived their rights to trial on the charges and entered guilty pleas without a sentencing recommendation from prosecutors, court minutes show.
Does that mean no plea bargain? I sure hope so.
Tiger entered the plea Monday and is set to be sentenced by District Judge Doug Drummond July 25. Jenkins, who pleaded guilty April 25, is set for sentencing Thursday.
Tiger and Jenkins were arrested after Tulsa police were given a micro SD card containing video of the two engaged in sexual acts with a young female, according to a probable cause affidavit.
In an interview with police, Tiger identified herself and Jenkins, her boyfriend, in the video, which she stated was made on Jenkins' cell phone around Nov. 1 at the Tudor House motel, 6416 E. Archer Street, according to the affidavit.
Tiger also told police about another incident that occurred about a month earlier at her residence in the 2200 block of North Hartford Avenue, the affidavit states.
Jenkins was arrested shortly thereafter but did not make any statements to investigators, according to the affidavit. A struggle with officers had ensued when he failed to follow commands to place his hands behind his back, and a Taser was deployed to gain control of him, the affidavit states.
The couple are each charged with sexual abuse against a child under the age of 12 and manufacturing child pornography. Tiger is charged with two additional counts of child sexual abuse, and Jenkins is charged with an additional count of child sexual abuse and a misdemeanor count of resisting an officer.
Tiger and Jenkins have been held at the Tulsa Jail without bail since their arrests Dec. 15, booking records show.
