Missouri man sentenced to 527 years
for child sexual abuse
Associated Press JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. Attorney General Chris Koster says Darran Boston, of Mexico, Missouri, was sentenced Friday after being found guilty in April with more than two dozen counts involving child sexual abuse and child pornography. Prosecutors say he abused two young girls over several years.
Court records indicate computer and camera equipment investigators found contained nearly 1,400 photographs depicting the girls in sexual activing from 2010 to 2015.
During sentencing, Circuit Court Judge Wesley Dalton said Boston's case was the worst case he has seen in his career.

(JESSE WARD/FOR NEW YORK DAILY NEWS)A former board member of the Borough Park Y was indicted for sexually abusing a little girl over a span of seven years, prosecutors said Friday.
Samuel “Mendy” Israel was charged in March for molesting the child when she was between 10 and 17 years old from 2000 until November 2007, according to the criminal complaint.
Israel, 44, was listed as a member of the board until earlier this month.
Israel was charged with four counts of sexual conduct against a child and endangering the welfare of a child. Prosecutors offered Israel a five-year plea bargain at an earlier court appearance that he declined, a source said.
The alleged molestation happened inside a residence on 60th St. near Franklin D. Roosevelt High School and at an undisclosed location, according to court documents.
Israel, who is out on $100,000 bail, refused to answer questions outside of Brooklyn Supreme Court on Friday, where he had a brief court appearance.
A representative of the Boro Park Y confirmed Israel was no longer a board member. Israel also claims to work as a member of the Bedford-Stuyvesant Volunteer AmbulanceCorp.
“He's a fraud and a fake. He's not one of my guys but fraudulently made placards and falsely received a VAS license plate," said James Rocky Robinson, 77, the captain of the Bedford-Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corp.
Oregon man arrested in child sex abuse case of 6 year old
CAMAS VALLEY, Ore. - Douglas County Sheriff's Detectives arrested a Camas Valley man Thursday on charges of sexually abusing a 6-year-old girl.
Detectives began investigating a child sexual abuse case Thursday that occurred at a residence in Camas Valley.
Following the investigation, they arrested 69-year-old Joseph Milton Ferrara.
Deputies lodged Ferrara in the county jail on charges of first degree sexual abuse and first degree sodomy.
Officials say Ferrara knows the 6-year-old victim.
New York couple charged with child sex abuse
WILTON, N.Y. —A Wilton couple is charged with sexually abusing a child, State Police said.Michael and Jeanne Mosher, both 37, are accused of engaged in sexual conduct with the girl, who was less than 13 years old. The girl was someone they knew, police said.
The abuse occurred between January and November 2009 in the town of Hadley, State Police said.
The couple, who were arrested in April, were arraigned in Wilton Town Court and sent to the Saratoga County Jail, where they remain, in lieu of $150,000 bail or $300,000 bond.
State Police said the investigation is ongoing and that they believe there are more victims.

Tennessee man charged in child sex abuse case
WBIR A Caryville, TN man faces more than 50 counts alleging sexual abuse of children in an indictment returned Wednesday, according to the Campbell County Sheriff's Office.
Marvin D. Bullock, 53, was being held in the Campbell County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond.The alleged victims were between ages 9 and 16, according to Chief Deputy Aaron Evans of the Sheriff's Office.
The indictment follows an investigation conducted by Detective Lt. John Long.
A Campbell County grand jury indicted Bullock on four counts of rape of a child; 13 counts of incest, nine counts of rape; four counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child; 11 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure; three counts of solicitation of a minor; three counts of attempting to solicit sexual exploitation of a minor; solicitation of sexual exploitation of a minor; two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor; interference with emergency calls; and five counts of aggravated sexual battery.
