42 'truly evil' men jailed for child sex abuse and trafficking of girls

A major investigation into child sex abuse in Huddersfield has seen 42 men jailed.
More than 500 years of jail time has been given combined to the sex offenders in relation to the sexual exploitation and abuse of young girls in Huddersfield between 1995 and 2013.
The final sentencing saw five men jailed for a combined 28 years at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday, 13 April.
Mohammed Kammer, 38; Nahman Mohammed, 37; Wiqas Mahmud, 42; and Mohammed Imran Ibrar, 38, from Huddersfield, as well as Abdul Rehman, 36, from Sheffield had pleaded not guilty and stood trial in January and February 2023. The men's trial had been delayed from 2020.
The men were found guilty of carrying out or facilitating the sexual abuse of a young girl in the Huddersfield area between 2005 and 2010. The abuse started when the victim was just 14 years old.
Kammer was sentenced to seven years and six months in prison after being convicted of three rape offences and a trafficking for sexual exploitation offence.
Mohammed was jailed for seven years after being convicted of two rape offences and trafficking for sexual exploitation.
Mahmud was sentenced to six years and three months for one rape offence.
Ibrar was jailed for five years, minus 502 days, after being convicted of sexual assault and a rape offence. His sentence with time deducted was three years six months.
Rehman was sentenced to three years and nine months for two offences of engaging in or facilitating a child sex offence and supplying drugs.
April‘s convictions mean a total of 505 years and six months in prison have now been handed down to those convicted during the court process.
DCI Ian Thornes, of West Yorkshire Police, said: "Operation Tendersea has been a major investigation into what has been truly evil sexual abuse committed against young females in the Huddersfield area.
"The fact that the courts have now given more than a combined 500 years in prison to the men who committed these offences speaks volumes about their sheer depravity.
"In case after case we have heard how those involved regarded their victims as objects to be used and then trivially discarded with no regard whatsoever to their welfare.
"These were vulnerable young teenage girls who endured utterly sickening offences committed by persons who demonstrated standards of behaviour which means they are not fit to walk the streets."
Tracy Brabin, the Mayor of West Yorkshire, said: "We are absolutely committed to preventing these heinous crimes and ensuring those that commit them are brought to justice.
"Every child in West Yorkshire deserves to grow up free from harm and protecting our most vulnerable is a key priority."

Well-known civil rights activist Sepideh Qoliyan, who is awaiting trial for “insulting” the Islamic Republic’s leader, has been subjected to physical abuse and threatened with rape while in custody, a relative told IranWire.
Qoliyan was re-arrested last month, hours after she posted on Twitter a video of herself without the mandatory hijab shouting slogans against Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei upon her release from Tehran’s Evin prison.
Her case was sent to branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, which is scheduled to start hearings on April 18. Qoliyan said she won’t take part in the proceedings.
Qoliyan was initially detained during a workers’ strike in November 2018 and later sentenced to 19 years and six months in prison. The sentence was reduced to five years on appeal.
The activist was released on March 15 after being granted “amnesty.”
“Khamenei the Zahhak! We’ll take you down into the grave,” she shouted outside Evin prison, referring to a mythical king said to have fed serpents growing out of his shoulders with young people’s brains.
As the video showing Qoliyan’s act of defiance was spreading on social media, police stopped the car carrying Qoliyan and her family and detained the activist.
After being held for several hours in Arak, south-west of Tehran, she was transferred to Ward 209 of Evin prison on the same day.
“I Should Cut your Tongue off”
Her relative told IranWire that upon entering the ward, a muscular man rushed toward Qoliyan and asked, “Are you a little elf who insulted Agha?”
“I should cut your tongue off,” the man added.
The man attempted to pull the activist’s tongue out and beat her for several hours while threatening her with rape.
“We will tie your hands and feet and take good care of you!” the interrogators told Qoliyan.
In Ward 209, she was forced to sleep on the floor in the corridors without any blanket.
She was informed that she would be transferred to Tehran’s Fashafouye prison. When Qoliyan expressed surprise at being sent to a male prison, her jailers said, “A men’s prison is the right place for a woman like you. You want to draw men’s attention with your work, and we’ll help you achieve your goals.”
On March 19, she was taken to Fashafouye prison. In front of the facility, she was left in a car for hours with a siren blaring.
After that, while being taunted, Qoliyan was then taken to Varamin’s Qarchak prison, which refused to admit her.
After wandering for a long time, the activist was returned to the women’s ward of Evin prison at 11 p.m….

This young girl who fled from her foster home in Angers revealed to her mother that she had been the victim of violence. The man who hosted her in Saint-Herblain appeared urgently on Monday April 3. He was sentenced to imprisonment.
The Nantes court sentenced the defendant to a three-month suspended sentence.

Of course, Muslim men have a different idea of what love is.
The defendant has a criminal record under another identity. If he is acquitted of child abduction, he is sentenced for the violence to three months in prison plus two months suspended sentence. He is kept in detention. He is prohibited from coming into contact with the girl for three years.
