3-year-old girl raped and murdered after mom allegedly

traded her for crack cocaine

When 3-year-old Luz Maida was awakened by her mother in the middle of the night and pushed into the arms of a strange man, she could not understand what was happening.

The little girl had allegedly just been sold by her mother, Aurelia Salinas, to her drug-dealer boyfriend.

Salinas, 42, reportedly made the exchange for 30 pieces of crack cocaine, worth about $12.

What police say happened next is truly unimaginable.

The unthinkable act, which happened in Pedro Juan Caballero, the capital city of Paraguay, was captured on CCTV, and heartbreakingly shows little Luz trying to tear herself away from her captor.

Actually, Asuncion is the capital of Paraguay. Pedro Juan Caballero is the capital of the Amambay Department.

Luz can be seen wearing a blue dress emblazoned with Disney’s “Frozen” characters, as the man treks down a dirty path with her slung over his shoulder.

Luz Maida, 3, was allegedly traded by her mother to her drug-dealer boyfriend in exchange for crack cocaine, and 24 hours later, her body was found in an abandoned house.
Newsflash

He can be seen slapping her with his free hand to stop her fidgeting, the Sun reports.

Just over 24 hours later, the girl’s body was found by horrified neighbors inside an abandoned house.

Her corpse was found covered in a shirt and placed on top of a bed after the dealer, who has not been named, reportedly raped and murdered the 3-year-old, a report by the Daily Mail states.

Initial reports suggest the 3-year-old was suffocated.

Aurelia Salinas

Locals attempted to lynch Aurelia Salinas as she was being arrested.
Newsflash

Enraged locals attempted to lynch Salinas as she was being arrested after allegedly confessing her involvement in her daughter’s murder to police, local media said.

Her boyfriend later confessed to the murder, the report added.

Salinas initially told police Luz had disappeared in her sleep, but after cops discovered the CCTV footage, she admitted to selling her for crack cocaine.

The 42-year-old has been arrested along with her boyfriend and another 17-year-old who is also believed to be involved.

Cops have allegedly said Salinas was under the influence of drugs and seemed unbothered about her daughter’s whereabouts while they searched for her.

It has also been reported that more than 300 locals attended Luz’s funeral and a group of neighbors later burned down the house where her corpse was discovered.

Investigators have claimed the family had a “history of tragedies” after the mom of eight allegedly allowed her 12-year-old daughter to be sexually abused by a 30-year-old man.

And after that, she was still able to maintain custody of her other children? How can that be?

Both cases are undergoing investigation.

Rochdale man jailed for child rape and catalogue of abuse

28 April 2023

A "prolific sexual predator" who raped a child and abused multiple other children in his home has been jailed.

Gerald Glancy from Rochdale admitted a catalogue of offences, including rape, sexual activity with a child and causing a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said the 85-year-old had exploited his victims' "vulnerability without any thought to the impact his abuse may have on them".

He was sentenced to 15 years in prison at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the court heard about Glancy's "horrific sexual abuse" of 24 young victims.

A CPS representative said between October 2018 and June 2022, Glancy was regularly engaging in sexualised conversations with children "over web chats", which he then recorded.

During those conversations, he incited them to engage in sexual activity, whilst he himself engaged in a sexual act.

They said Glancy had also been abusing children in his home and several devices were recovered by GMP from his address which contained still and moving photographs of Glancy engaging in sexual activity with children.

'Sickening'

GMP said Glancy admitted possessing indecent images of children after being arrested in February 2021 and "was therefore breaching a previous sexual prevention order".

The force said it seized four mobile telephones, five hard drives, five flash drives and two cameras.

The CPS said the devices were sent for forensic analysis, but Glancy "continued to engage with children over web chat and committed further offences".

GMP said officers returned to Glancy's home in June 2022, "based on intelligence received by the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children", and found a further five unauthorised devices.

They said Glancy admitted making more than 47,000 images of children, taking at least 200 "category C" images and distributing two "category A" images.

Speaking after sentencing, Alex Mann said Glancy was such "a prolific sexual predator" that it had not been possible to identify all of his victims.

"The abuse he subjected children to was sickening," he said.

"He exploited their vulnerability without any thought to the impact his abuse may have on them."

Det Ch Insp Suzanne Keenaghan added that those who had provided "valuable support" in the case should be commended for their bravery.

"We know it’s been an extremely harrowing time for them," she said.

"Glancy is the worst kind of offender and we are pleased that this predator is no longer on the streets and will not be able to hurt children ever again."

The New Daily

A former high-ranking Comanchero bikie has been charged with sexually abusing a nine-year-old girl, supplying her with prohibited drugs and sexually assaulting another woman.

Ian “Clisso” Clissold
, 60, has been behind bars since February, when he was arrested and charged with several historical offences related to domestic violence and child sexual abuse allegations.

A 29-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted by the former Comanchero sergeant-at-arms between 2017 and 2021, prompting a police investigation in October last year.

As part of that investigation, police spoke with a further two women – aged 19 and 39 – who also made allegations against Clissold, a NSW Police statement read.

Police will allege Clissold sexually abused the 19-year-old when she was aged between nine and 13 and supplied her with prohibited drugs when she was aged between 11 and 13.

Police will also allege Clissold assaulted the 39-year-old woman on multiple occasions and threatened her with a firearm.

Clissold was arrested at Bathurst police station after being transported from jail on April 19.

He was charged with grooming a child under 14 years for unlawful sexual activity, three counts of aggravated indecency with a victim under 16 as an under-authority offender; two counts of supplying a prohibited drug in a small quantity to child as an adult and supplying a prohibited drug.

He was also charged with four counts of domestic violence-related common assault, possessing an unauthorised pistol, two counts of attempting to stalk/intimidate with the intent to fear or harm and domestic violence-related assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He appeared at Penrith Local Court on Friday and is set to face court again on May 12.
