‘She has ruined my father’s honour’: Haseen strangles his 16-y/o sister
to death in front of a crowd in Meerut for loving a Hindu boy, arrested
OpIndia, August 8, 2024:
In a shocking case of suspected horror (honor?) killing, a 20-year-old Haseen strangled his 16-year-old sister Amrisha to death over her will to marry a Hindu man of her choice. The incident transpired in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh on 7th August. A video of the incident went viral on social media. The accused, an electrician, has been arrested by the authorities. He was angry about his sister’s love affair with a guy outside their Muslim community. The instance took place in the Nagla Shekhu village of Incholi police station area in Meerut.
Hassen killed his sister in the middle of the road while shouting that she ruined their father’s honour. Many people assembled around the two when someone recorded the horrifying occurrence and shared it online. The footage showed the perpetrator sitting on the chest of the minor and choking her. She was in love with a young man from a nearby village named Mohit. He used to frequently visit her hamlet as his sister was married there and the pair fell in love. The deceased even planned to elope with her lover and ran away from home thrice.
Somehow, it never occurred to anyone to intervene and save the girl's life. Life is cheap in Islam.
She fled to him in March and was recovered by police. She went to him again in May and was brought back. She did the same in August before returning. The culprit was furious about it and claimed that she had destroyed their family’s name by repeatedly running away from home and brought disrepute to their father’s honour. She wanted to again elope on the fateful day and Haseen found about out it after which they two had an altercation. He had also assaulted her.
He dragged her out of their residence and took her to the road where he started yelling, “She has ruined my father’s honour. She will even devour him. If I had not killed her, he would have died. She has run away from home three times. What would I have done if I had not killed such a person?” Several men and women were present at the scene, yet none intervened to stop him….
Germany: Muslim migrant invokes Sharia
to justify beating and raping wife
Soest rape trial: Mokhtar B. wants to protect himself with Sharia law
translated from “Soester Vergewaltigungs-Prozess: Mokhtar B. will sich mit Scharia schützen,” by Daniel Schröder, Soester Anzeiger, August 8, 2024 (thanks to Medforth):
The trial of the 33-year-old Moroccan, who is alleged to have raped his then partner several times in Soest, began on Thursday morning at Arnsberg District Court.
In his statement, Mokhtar B. denied that he raped his then partner several times in her flat in Soest and in a wooded area near the Soest city park, sometimes with the threat of violence. However, the accused had previously admitted to expert witness Dr Josef Leßmann that he had threatened to smash a beer bottle on the pregnant woman’s head. When Petja Pagel, presiding judge of the 4th Grand Criminal Chamber, asked Mokhtar B. if this was the case, B. unconvincingly accused the experienced and respected psychiatric expert from Warstein of lying.
On Thursday, Mokhtar B. described the fact that violence was apparently a matter of course in the broken relationship without a slightest remorse: his ex allegedly cheated on him. He confronted her about it and she denied the allegations. “Then I threatened her, pulled her hair and hit her. She confessed after I hit and threatened her.”
When asked why, he said: “My honour was wounded. It was hurtful to my honor that someone slept with my wife. I was really angry.” He invoked the rules of Sharia law. Petja Pagel asked him: “Should I interpret that to mean that you think it’s OK to beat your wife?” B. replied: “Of course. Would you accept that if you were in my place? I couldn’t bear it, it’s not allowed among our people.”
Because the Soest woman – probably as a result of one of the alleged rapes on New Year’s Day – is said to have developed abdominal pain and Mokhtar B. was apparently afraid for the unborn child, she went to hospital. There, too, he beat her and only stopped when a doctor intervened. “I was angry, I wanted to keep hitting her,” said the accused. At the same time, Mokhtar B. apparently did not take the rules of Islam too seriously himself: during the offences on New Year’s Day, he was apparently high on drugs.
“I consumed alcohol, cocaine, hashish and pills at a New Year’s Eve party – but the offences of beating her have nothing to do with that.” Nicole Kuni, the public prosecutor, said of the torment that the Soest woman is said to have suffered: “She feared for her life.” The trial will continue on Thursday, August 15.
===================
The Qur’an teaches that men are superior to women and should beat those from whom they “fear disobedience”: “Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them.” — Qur’an 4:34
Muhammad’s child bride, Aisha, says in a hadith that Muhammad “struck me on the chest which caused me pain, and then said: ‘Did you think that Allah and His Apostle would deal unjustly with you?’” — Sahih Muslim 2127
Another hadith states: “Rifa`a divorced his wife whereupon `AbdurRahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi married her. `Aisha said that the lady (came), wearing a green veil (and complained to her (Aisha) of her husband and showed her a green spot on her skin caused by beating). It was the habit of ladies to support each other, so when Allah’s Messenger came, Aisha said, ‘I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!’” — Sahih Bukhari 7.77.5825
A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “If a husband calls his wife to his bed [i.e. to have sexual relation] and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning” (Bukhari 4.54.460).
And: “By him in Whose Hand lies my life, a woman can not carry out the right of her Lord, till she carries out the right of her husband. And if he asks her to surrender herself [to him for sexual intercourse] she should not refuse him even if she is on a camel’s saddle” (Ibn Majah 1853).
