Approaching Sodom > Colorado running headlong toward Sodom; Having gay sex in Congress room not a problem

Alerting parents: The horrific bill passing through Colorado's Legislature

A horrific bill is making its way through the Colorado legislature as we speak.

Radical legislators are rushing HB 1312 through the General Assembly under the guise of providing “legal protections for transgender individuals.”

But far from protecting an allegedly discriminated-against minority, this bill could facilitate Child Protective Services kidnapping children from parents who refuse to affirm their child’s “gender identity.”

Since 2016, in various states, Child Protective Services has removed children from homes where parents refuse to “transition” their child — either “socially” through a new name and pronouns or “medically” through damaging, experimental drugs, hormones and surgeries.

HB 1312, which has already passed the Colorado House, would formalize these practices by stipulating that in custody disputes, courts must take into consideration parents’ “deadnaming” and “misgendering” their children, likening it to abuse.

Of course, they would have to define 'misgendering', which, if there is a functioning brain in the courts, will define it as the sex you were born with. Anything else is mental illness and/or sexual mutilation.

The bill also makes Colorado a destination state for parents who wish to harm their children with transgender drugs and surgeries. It prohibits Colorado courts from complying with “another state’s law that authorizes a state agency to remove a child from the child’s parent or guardian because the parent or guardian allowed the child to receive gender-affirming health-care services.”

If that wasn’t bad enough, HB 1312 adds “deadnaming” and “misgendering” to Colorado’s Anti-Discrimination Act, “prohibiting these discriminatory acts in places of public accommodation,” mandating employees and businesses use false language and play along with the transgender dogma — or else.

Ordering someone to lie to a parent has to be a criminal offence. But, apparently, it isn't.

The legislature’s cloak-and-dagger tactics have given opponents little time to organize resistance.

The bill was introduced late in the day on Friday, March 28. On Monday, a committee hearing was scheduled for the following day. Despite the rushed schedule, over 100 people testified against the legislation. The bill passed out of committee with a 7-4 vote along party lines and was quickly approved by the full House.

Not that Democrat legislators care much what the other side thinks anyway. They have labeled opponents of the bill “hate groups,” equated them with the KKK, and said pro-family groups echo “hateful rhetoric … against the trans community.”

So much for tolerance.

It’s not hateful to make sure the government can’t rip children from the arms of a parent who believes in biological reality and who won’t participate in mutilating their child with life-altering transgender drugs, hormones and surgeries.

Indeed, the Colorado legislature is trying to force every area of society to comply with the transgender agenda.

Parents, pastors and civic leaders are speaking out against this horrific legislation. But more are needed to fight for the protection of children.

All proponents of truth can and must speak up and speak out. Refuse to remain silent.

In his renowned address “Live Not by Lies,” the great Soviet dissident Alexander Solzhenitsyn said,

“The simple and most accessible key to our

self-neglected liberation is this: personal

non-participation in lies.”

Faced with this evil and immoral bill, Coloradans must say one of the most powerful words in the English language: No.

We refuse to comply. We will oppose every attempt to destroy parental rights, to harm struggling and confused children, and to force us to use reality-denying and biology-defying language.

Speak up now by signing a petition to all Colorado legislators opposing HB 1312. Sign up to testify before the Colorado Senate or submit a written testimony against HB 1312.

The best time to speak up and act was yesterday. The second-best time is now.

This is indeed an urgent matter. The state Senate may schedule a hearing on the bill as soon as Good Friday — hoping to catch Christians asleep and unaware. Or they may try to jam it through on the final day of the legislative session on May 7.

Will you remain silent? Or will you choose to meet the moment and act now?

Former Dem staffer who filmed himself having sex in Congress said he ‘spent a little bit in the psych ward’ after scandal

A former Democrat staffer who filmed himself having sex in a congressional hearing room said he “spent a little bit in the psych ward” after news of the scandal broke — as he revealed his new life in Australia.

Aidan Maese-Czeropski was 24 years old when the explicit gay sex tape was released in 2023, leading to him being let go by Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.).

“Mentally, I spent a little bit in the psych ward after the fact because it was just … it’s overwhelming to realize and to know that tens of millions of people literally despise you,” Maese-Czeropski told the Gay Sydney News, in an interview in which he revealed he has since moved to Sydney and started an OnlyFans.

Facebook/Aidan Maese-Czeropski

“Everyone in DC knew me, and it was kind of gross and horrifying because I’m not someone who likes to be in the public spotlight at all,” he added, explaining his decision to leave the US.

But he claimed to be happier — and wealthier, thanks to OnlyFans — than he was before the scandal broke.

“I think that one of the reasons why the scandal wasn’t as traumatic as it could’ve been is because I was very depressed working in government,” he said. “I hated my life, I hated my job, the pay was s–t,” he said.

In the immediate aftermath, Maese-Czeropski fled to South Africa, where a New Zealander he met convinced him to move permanently to Australia.

Aidan Maese-Czeropski’s face appeared to be visible in an explicit video filmed in a Senate hearing room.

“I got some flak … people were like, ‘OK, he’s washed up,'” he said. “But it’s also about my mental health. I just needed time to process the scandal.”

He said he loves his new life in Sydney, but struck a note of bitterness about the infamous sex tape incident.

“I got all these death threats, hatred. And the guy who was the top didn’t,” he joked.

However, he has embraced some of the notoriety, even changing his Instagram handle to reflect his “Senate twink” nickname that the scandal earned him.

“It’s a good conversation starter,” he said.

Footage of the tryst shows a young man bent over a conference table in the Hart Senate Office Building.

Another man standing behind him films the sex act. A separate picture shows the staffer naked on a desk where senators often sit.

The video was allegedly first shared in a private group for gay DC insiders before appearing on a since-deleted X account.

US Capitol Police ultimately decided not to press charges against either of the men involved in the sex tape in February 2024 after finding no evidence of criminal activity.

“After consulting with federal and local prosecutors, as well as doing a comprehensive investigation and review of possible charges, it was determined that — despite a likely violation of congressional policy — there is currently no evidence that a crime was committed,” the agency said in a statement at the time.

So, it's not a crime to assault the dignity of Congress?  Or, is there any dignity in Congress?

South Carolina rep left family to live with mistress,

wife claims in divorce papers

By Katherine Donlevy, NYPost
Published Sep. 23, 2023, 8:30 p.m. ET

A South Carolina congressman who campaigns as an advocate for “traditional family values” carried out multiple affairs during his 34-year marriage, his wife claimed in divorce papers.

Melody Duncan accused GOP Rep. Jeff Duncan in Friday’s filing of abandoning his family to live with his mistress, who is reportedly a lobbyist in the Washington, D.C. area, according to court documents.

Duncan “admitted this adulterous relationship to many people, including [the couple’s three sons] and members of his staff,” the filing claims.

The 57-year-old conservative allegedly flaunted the affair in front of Melody’s face while purporting to carry on a healthy marriage in front of his constituents while on his re-election campaign trail.

Just last month, Duncan described Melody as a “supportive and loving wife” at his 12th annual Faith and Freedom BBQ — one of the largest annual Republican gatherings in South Carolina that typically draws thousands of people.

Is there a place in Eternity for liars?

Duncan “then left the next day and went directly to the home of his paramour, Liz Williams, in the Washington DC area, where [Melody] is informed and believes he continues to reside,” the findings allege.

Melody Duncan filed for divorce from Rep. Jeff Duncan,
her husband of 34 years.
Congressman Jeff Duncan/Facebook

“[Melody] is informed and believes that [Duncan’s] extramarital relationship(s) is/are widely known in political circles in North Carolina and Washington DC.”

Since then, Duncan allegedly started rumors that his 1988 marriage to Melody was plagued with lovelessness in an effort “to justify the hypocrisy of his public statements and his private actions.”

Duncan allegedly admitted his extramarital affair with Williams to Melody, though the scorned spouse believes there was at least one other woman.

According to the US House’s lobbying disclosure page, there’s a registered lobbying firm called Liz Williams and Co., with seven clients, including Delta Air Lines.

The politician, who has served the state’s 3rd Congressional District since 2011, touts himself as a protector of the nuclear family.

“As a life-long social conservative, I am a strong advocate for life and traditional family values,” he states on his government page.

“The most basic component of our society is the family. Now more than ever, it is imperative that we protect the values that America was founded upon and have made our country great.”

Neither lawyers for Melody nor representatives for Duncan immediately responded to The Post’s request for comment.

The divorce was first reported by the South Carolina Index-Journal.

Russell Brand was grilled by police in 2014 over claims

he sexually assaulted masseuse

By Ronny Reyes, NYPost
Published Sep. 24, 2023, 12:00 p.m. ET

Russell Brand was questioned by police over claims of sexual assault back in 2014, when a masseuse alleged he groped her and made her feel “like a prostitute,” according to a new report.

The embattled British comedian, who is being investigated for allegedly raping four women, had his first known such run in with police nine years ago when an English masseuse said he attacked her at mansion in Oxfordshire, The Sun on Sunday reported.

The masseuse, who was not publicly identified, said she was hired to give Brand a birthday massage valued at more than $600 on June 7, 2014.

When she led him to his massage table at a bathroom suite, the masseuse claimed Brand began touching her “in a sexual way” for about 40 minutes before he was kicked out of the mansion, according to the report.

Russell Brand was accused of raping four women between 2006 and 2013, with more allegations of sexual assault and harassment resurfacing against the British comedian.

She said felt she was treated “like a prostitute,” receiving payment for the massage even though she never gave him one, the Sun reported.

The traumatized woman said she called Thames Valley Police, who went on to grill Brand over the allegations, which he denied, describing the encounter as “friendly but awkward,” according to the report.

Brand also claimed that CCTV footage from the property supported his version of the story that he was not kicked out of the mansion, the Sun said.

The following month, Thames Valley Police informed the masseuse and Brand that they were not pursuing the case, the Sun reported.

Outraged by the police’s decision, the masseuse sought to have the case reviewed by the Independent Office for Police Misconduct.

The Independent Office for Police Misconduct and the Thames Valley Police Department did not immediately respond to The Post’s requests for comment Sunday.

Russell Brand sexual assault allegations

Russell Brand was accused of raping, sexually assaulting and abusing four women over the course of seven years from 2006 to 2013.

One woman, identified as “Nadia,” alleged the “Get Him To the Greek” star raped her against the wall of his Los Angeles home in 2012 and that she was treated at a rape crisis center the same day, according to medical records cited by news outlets.

Another accuser, who was 16 at the time and is known only by the pseudonym “Alice”, alleged the then-31-year-old called her “the child” and assaulted her during their “emotionally abusive and controlling” three-month relationship, according to the report.

A woman identified as “Phoebe” claimed he sexually assaulted her at his property in West Hollywood after they met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, according to the Times of London. Brand allegedly trapped her in a bedroom and chased her around before pinning her down and assaulting her.

The star’s ex-girlfriend Jordan Martin made similar accusations in her self-published 2014 book “kNot: Entanglement with a Celebrity.” She claims he sexually assaulted her at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, England, after becoming angry that she had spoken to an ex-boyfriend in 2007.

Pop star Dannii Minogue angrily labeled Russell Brand a “vile predator” as far back as 2006 — accusing him of creeping her out by perving over her “fabulous breasts” and refusing to “take no for an answer.”

Brand denied the allegations in a video on YouTube and X, formerly Twitter, alerting fans to “serious criminal” allegations that he said would be made against him.

“Amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks, are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute,” Branded shared. “The relationships I had were absolutely, always consensual.”

While the investigation proceeds, YouTube has suspended Brand from making money on the video streaming site, his pub “Crown Inn,” located in Pishill, Britain, has been temporarily shut down and BBC has formally launched a review into the comedian’s time at the network.

March 10 (UPI) -- Two gay men were the first same-sex couple legally married in Chile Thursday as the nation's new marriage law took effect.

Javier Silva and Jaime Nazar were married shortly after 7 a.m. local time in Santiago. Chilean Justice Minister HernƔn Larraƭn and Deputy Human Rights Secretary Lorena Recabarren attended the wedding.

"It is a terrific moment for us as a couple," Silva told the Washington Blade. "This act will be felt across Chile."

Consuelo Morales and Pabla Heuser were married less than half an hour after the men were wed.

Morales said she and Heuser got married for the sake of their two-year-old daughter Josefa. Josefa was born through reciprocal in vitro fertilization.

"It was our dream that we both be her parents," Morales told BBC News.

Civil unions have been legal in Chile since 2015. But same sex marriages were illegal until the new law took effect Thursday.

Legal same sex marriage has more benefits under the law than civil unions do. Until this new law, only one of the two people in a same-sex partnership had full parental rights.

The same-sex marriage law in Chile was introduced by former left-wing President Michelle Bachelet. The law was enacted by her right-wing successor, President Sebastian PiƱera.

British appeals court blocks same-sex marriage for Bermuda,

Cayman Islands

March 14 (UPI) -- A top appeals court in Britain on Monday blocked same-sex marriage in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands after siding with the governments of the two self-governing overseas territories in two landmark rulings.

The Cayman Islands case stems from two women, Chantelle Day and Vickie Bodden Bush, who were refused an application to marry in 2018 because local marriage law defined marriage as "the union between a man and a woman as husband and wife," according to court documents.

Day and Bush successfully sued the government in a case heard before Chief Justice Anthony Smellie on the grounds that the marriage law conflicted with the Cayman Islands Constitution.

The Grand Court of the Cayman Islands found that the law violated the rights of Day and Bush to private and family life and their freedoms including the freedom to manifest their belief in marriage, according to court documents. The Grand Court then modified the marriage law to define "marriage" as "the union between two people as one another's spouses."

However, the case was successfully appealed by the government to the Court of Appeal of the Cayman Islands, which ruled that the right to marriage under the constitution did not extend to same-sex couples but that Day and Bush were entitled to legal protection functionally equivalent to marriage.

Bush and Day then appealed to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London, which serves as the final appeals court for Bermuda and the Cayman Islands despite the fact they are administered as their own nations.

However, the couple could still appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France.

"The right to marry in section 14(1) of the Bill of Rights has been drafted in highly specific terms to make it clear that it is a right "freely to marry a person of the opposite sex,'" the Privy Council wrote in its unanimous judgment.

"It is obvious that this language has been used to emphasize the limited ambit of the right and to ensure that it could not be read as capable of covering same-sex marriage."

The Privy Council ruled that the interpretations of other stipulations in the Constitution cannot circumvent the explicit limit on marriage established in the Bill of Rights.

However, the Privy Council noted that its interpretation of the Bill of Rights in the judgment does not prevent the legislative assembly in the Cayman Islands from passing laws that recognize same-sex marriage.

"The effect of the interpretation endorsed by the Board is that this is a matter for the choice of the Legislative Assembly rather than a right laid down in the Constitution," the Privy Council wrote in its judgment.

The Bermuda case came after the Bermudian Parliament passed a law in 2018 voiding same-sex marriages but allowing for same-sex couples to enter domestic partnerships, according to court documents.

The law was challenged to the Supreme Court of Bermuda by a series of people affected by it, including a Bermudian LGBTQ+ charity on the grounds that the provision revoking same-sex marriage went against the constitution of Bermuda.

The Supreme Court ruled that the provision did contradict the Bermudian constitution but case was appealed by the attorney general to the Court of Appeal of Bermuda, which upheld most of the Supreme Court's ruling.

The attorney general then appealed the case to the Privy Council, which struck down the rulings of the two lower courts in a 4-1 decision with Lord Phillip Sales dissenting.

The Bermuda case largely revolved around the religious belief in the right to same-sex marriage, with the Privy Council ruling that the legislation does not prevent people from holding such a belief but that the government is not required to provide for such a legal right under existing law.

"[The law] does not prevent a church or other religious body from carrying out a marriage ceremony for a same-sex couple and giving recognition to such a marriage as a matter of religious practice within their faith community," the Privy Council wrote.

"The protection of a 'practice' does not extend to a requirement that the state give legal recognition to a marriage celebrated in accordance with that practice."

The Privy Council then made a series of comparisons, including that "the protection of a belief in the right to life does not compel the state to ban all forms of abortion ... just as the protection of a belief in communism does not require the state to adopt a particular form of government."

"In making those comparisons, the Board does not seek to diminish or understate the importance of marriage as a fundamental social institution or the value of social recognition of committed and loving relationships," the judges wrote.

Ben Tonner, an attorney for the couple in the Cayman Islands case, told the Cayman Compass that they are "extremely disappointed with the Privy Council's judgment issued earlier today."

"Were it not for their courage in standing up for their rights, and the rights of many others, there would still be no legal framework for the recognition of same-sex couples in the Cayman Islands [allowed under the Civil Partnership Act]," Tonner said.

"Their strength and bravery throughout these proceedings has been truly inspirational."

BREAKING: U.S. Congressmen Complain to UN

About Blocking Pro-life Groups

By Austin Ruse | March 14, 2022

Sima Sami Bahous, Executive Director for UN Women UN Photo/Manuel ElĆas

NEW YORK, March 14 (C-Fam) Twenty-five U.S. Congressmen have joined 400 international groups, and almost 9,000 individuals complaining to the UN that pro-life groups are being blocked from participating in a UN process connected to a major negotiation.

The letter, organized by Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO), and sent to UN Women Executive Director, says, “It has come to our attention that NGO CSW has repeatedly denied the parallel event applications of several pro-life and pro-family organizations in recent years.”

The letter continues, “NGO CSW informed these organizations it was because their events and ideas did not ‘align with NGO CSW’ values.” The letter calls these developments “very troubling.”

Representative Boebert told the Friday Fax, “UN Women receives $11.3 million dollars every year from the American taxpayers, and if they wish to continue to receive those funds, they should immediately change course and allow organizations like C-Fam to participate in future summits.”

The UN Commission on the Status of Women, which will negotiate a non-binding document that will later appear at the UN General Assembly, began meeting this week, along with “parallel” events hosted by non-profit advocacy groups. In years past, conservative groups were allowed to host panels but not this year.

Pro-life and pro-family groups began getting rejection letters earlier this year and in comparing notes, the group realized all conservative groups have been rejected. At the same time, on a listserv of NGO CSW, there have been increasing calls to have conservative groups kicked out of the UN altogether.

While NGO CSW is a project of “civil society”, it gets its mandate from UN Women, the $1 billion a year UN agency dedicated to left wing feminism. As such, NGO CSW is acting as an agent of the United Nations.

The precedent for blocking pro-life and pro-family groups from UN processes was set in 2019 when the UN Population Fund blocked such groups from the Nairobi Summit on reproductive health.

One of the main issues for the left is that pro-life groups have been so successful over the years in blocking the radical feminist agenda. Though feminists have tried for more than 25 years to garner a global right to abortion, they have failed in no small part because of the persistence of pro-life groups.

In the current debate, feminists have said the presence of pro-life groups makes them feel “unsafe” and that the Commission on the Status of Women is their own bailiwick. They say they have the right to keep out those who disagree.

As the Boebert letter says, “…[it seems] as though UN Women and Member States are no longer interested in facilitating inclusive and respectful dialogue on issues that affect women and, instead, want to enforce a kind of global feminist orthodoxy, siding with powerful governments and special interests who want to silence pro-life and pro-family organizations…”

The document under discussion starting this week is loaded with leftwing language, including language promoting abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, and much else. These are highly controversial topics at the UN and have never been accepted by the consensus of the General Assembly. It is expected that most, if not all, will be removed during negotiations. It might happen that the meeting will end without agreement at all, as has happened in other commissions over such controversial language.

Biden, through a despicable arrangement with Nigeria, was able to get some of that woke, PCMad language through the UN, at the cost of many Christian lives and well-being.
