Sweden's Hell-Bent Determination to Commit Cultural Suicide

In 1975, the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the former homogeneous Sweden into a multicultural country. Forty years later the dramatic consequences of this experiment emerge: violent crime has increased by 300%.

If one looks at the number of rapes, however, the increase is even worse. In 1975, 421 rapes were reported to the police; in 2014, it was 6,620. That is an increase of 1,472%.

Sweden is now number two on the global list of rape countries. According to a survey from 2010, Sweden, with 53.2 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants, is surpassed only by tiny Lesotho in Southern Africa, with 91.6 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants.

According to figures published by The Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brottsförebyggande rådet; known as Brå) -- an agency under the Ministry of Justice -- 29,000 Swedish women, during 2011, reported that they had been raped (which seems to indicate that less than 25% of the rapes are reported to the police).

Strange explanations

Rather than doing something about the problem of violence and rape, Swedish politicians, public authorities and media do their best to explain away the facts. Here are some of their explanations:

Swedes have become more prone to report crime.
The law has been changed so that more sexual offences are now classed as rape.
Swedish men cannot handle increased equality between the sexes and react with violence against women (perhaps the most fanciful excuse).

A long-held feminist myth is that the most dangerous place for a woman is her own home -- that most rapes are committed by someone she knows. This claim was refuted by Brå's report:

"In 58% of cases, the perpetrator was entirely unknown by the victim. In 29% of cases the perpetrator was an acquaintance, and in 13% of cases the perpetrator was a person close to the victim."

Brå reports that there are no major differences between women of Swedish and foreign background when it comes to the risk of being raped. Significantly, the report does not touch on the background of the rapists.

Without parallel

Back in 1975, the year when politicians decided that Sweden was to become multicultural, the Swedish population stood at 8,208,442. By 2014 it had grown to 9,743,087 -- an increase of 18.7%. This growth is entirely due to immigration, as Swedish women on average give birth to 1.92 children compared to the 2.24 average of immigrant women. One should, however, keep in mind that in the statistics, second-generation immigrants are counted as Swedes.

Sweden's recent population growth is without parallel. Never before in the country's history has the number of inhabitants increased so fast. Sweden is now the fastest growing country in Europe.

Over the past 10-15 years, immigrants have mainly come from Muslim countries such as Iraq, Syria and Somalia. Might this mass influx explain Sweden's rape explosion? It is difficult to give a precise answer, because Swedish law forbids registration based on people's ancestry or religion. One possible explanation is that, on average, people from the Middle East have a vastly different view of women and sex than Scandinavians have. And despite the attempts by the Swedish establishment to convince the population that everyone setting foot on Swedish soil becomes exactly like those who have lived here for dozens of generations, facts point in an altogether different direction.

The latest statistical survey of immigrant criminality compared to that of Swedes was done in 2005. The results are practically never mentioned. Not only that; anyone who dares refer to them, for example on social media, is viciously attacked.

Michael Hess, a local politician from Sweden Democrat Party, encouraged Swedish journalists to get acquainted with Islam's view of women, in connection with the many rapes that took place in Cairo's Tahrir Square during the "Arab Spring". Hess wrote, "When will you journalists realize that it is deeply rooted in Islam's culture to rape and brutalize women who refuse to comply with Islamic teachings. There is a strong connection between rapes in Sweden and the number of immigrants from MENA-countries [Middle East and North Africa]."

This remark led to Michael Hess being charged with "denigration of ethnic groups" [hets mot folkgrupp], a crime in Sweden. In May last year, he was handed a suspended jail sentence and a fine -- the suspension was due to the fact that he had no prior convictions. The verdict has been appealed to a higher court.

For many years, Michael Hess lived in Muslim countries, and he is well acquainted with Islam and its view of women. During his trial, he provided evidence of how sharia law deals with rape, and statistics to indicate that Muslims are vastly overrepresented among perpetrators of rape in Sweden. However, the court decided that facts were irrelevant:

"The Court [Tingsrätten] notes that the question of whether or not Michael Hess's pronouncement is true, or appeared to be true to Michael Hess, has no bearing on the case. Michael Hess's statement must be judged based on its timing and context. ... At the time of the offense, Michael Hess referred neither to established research nor to Islamic sources. It was only in connection with his indictment that Michael Hess tried to find support in research and religious writings. The Court therefore notes that Michael Hess's pronouncement was obviously not a part of any reasoned [saklig] or trustworthy [vederhäftig] discussion. Michael Hess's pronouncement must therefore be viewed as an expression of disdain for immigrants with an Islamic faith."

Have you ever heard anything so astonishing? Are Swiss judges really that stupid? What he's saying is that Hess's comments were true, but because he didn't document the proof when making the statements - he's a racist.

Statistical evidence

What may one conclude from the available statistics?

As part of the evidence Michael Hess presented in court, he made use of whatever statistics existed on immigrant criminality in Sweden before the statistical authorities stopped measuring. Michael Hess tried to find answers to two questions:

Is there a correspondence between the incidence of rape and the number of people with a foreign background in Sweden?
Is there a correspondence between the incidence of rape and some specific group of immigrants in Sweden?

The answer to both questions was an unequivocal Yes. Twenty-one research reports from the 1960s until today are unanimous in their conclusions: Whether or not they measured by the number of convicted rapists or men suspected of rape, men of foreign extraction were represented far more than Swedes. And this greater representation of persons with a foreign background keeps increasing:

1960-1970s – 1.2 to 2.6 times as often as Swedes
1980s – 2.1 to 4.7 times as often as Swedes
1990s – 2.1 to 8.1 times as often as Swedes
2000s – 2.1 to 19.5 times as often as Swedes

Even when adjusted for variables such as age, sex, class and place of residence, the huge discrepancy between immigrants and Swedes remains.

Research reports on crime in Sweden have become a rarity, but among the eighteen that were done during the 1990s and the 2000s, eleven dealt with rape. Two of these reports dealt with the connection between rape and immigration, and they both confirmed that there is a link.

These figures are available to the authorities, the politicians and the press, yet they insist that these numbers do not mirror reality.

Glaring discrepancy

How is it, then, that in 2008, Sweden's neighbor Denmark only had 7.3 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants compared to 53.2 in Sweden?

Danish legislation is not very different from Sweden's, and there is no obvious reason why Danish women should be less inclined to report rape than their Swedish counterparts.

In 2011, 6,509 rapes were reported to the Swedish police -- but only 392 in Denmark. The population of Denmark is about half the size of Sweden's, so even adjusted for size, the discrepancy is significant.

In Sweden, the authorities do what they can to conceal the origin of the rapists. In Denmark, the state's official statistical office, Statistics Denmark, revealed that in 2010 more than half of convicted rapists had an immigrant background.

We also know from this report that half of all rapes in Norway were committed by Muslims, and every single violent rape in Oslo for the past 5 years was committed by someone of non-western heritage.

Furthermore, it appears that almost all the rapist/traffickers/druggers/thugs who horribly abused more than 1400 young, white teenage girls in Rotherham, England, were Pakistani Muslims. One MP estimates that there may be one million girls being abused in the UK. Most, if not all of them are being abused at the hands of Muslims.

Foreigners overrepresented

Since 2000, there has only been one research report on immigrant crime. It was done in 2006 by Ann-Christine Hjelm from Karlstads University.

It emerged that in 2002, 85% of those sentenced to at least two years in prison for rape in Svea Hovrätt, a court of appeals, were foreign born or second-generation immigrants.

A 1996 report by the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention reached the conclusion that immigrants from North Africa (Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia) were 23 times as likely to commit rape as Swedish men. The figures for men from Iraq, Bulgaria and Romania were, respectively, 20, 18 and 18. Men from the rest of Africa were 16 times more prone to commit rape; and men from Iran, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, 10 times as prone as Swedish men.

Gang rapes

A new trend reached Sweden with full force over the past few decades: gang rape -- virtually unknown before in Swedish criminal history. The number of gang rapes increased spectacularly between 1995 and 2006. Since then no studies of them have been undertaken.

One of the worst cases occurred in 2012, when a 30-year old woman was raped by eight men in a housing project for asylum seekers, in the small town of Mariannelund. The woman was an acquaintance of a man from Afghanistan who had lived in Sweden for a number of years. He invited her to go out with him. She obliged. The Afghan man took her to a refugee housing project and left her defenseless. During the night, she was raped repeatedly by the asylum seekers and when her "friend" returned, he raped her too. The following morning she managed to call the police. Sweden's public prosecutor has called the incident "the worst crime of rape in Swedish criminal history."

Seven of the men were sentenced to between 4.5 and 6.5 years in prison. Prison time is usually reduced by a third, so it won't be long before the men will be ready for new assaults -- presumably on infidel women.

In cases of gang rape, culprits and victims are most often young and in almost every case, the perpetrators are of immigrant background, mostly from Muslim countries. In an astounding number of cases, the Swedish courts have demonstrated sympathy for the rapists. Several times the courts have acquitted suspects who have claimed that the girl wanted sex with six, seven or eight men.

One striking incident occurred in 2013, in the Stockholm suburb of Tensta. A 15-year-old girl was locked up while six men of foreign extraction had sex with her. The lower court convicted the six men but the court of appeals acquitted them because no violence had occurred, and because the court determined that the girl "had not been in a defenseless position."

This month, all major Swedish media reported on a brutal gang rape on board the Finnish Ferry Amorella, running between Stockholm and Åbo in Finland. Big headlines told the readers that the perpetrators were Swedish:

"Several Swedish Men Suspected of Rape on the Finland Ferry" (Dagens Nyheter).
"Six Swedish Men Raped Woman in Cabin" (Aftonbladet).
"Six Swedes Arrested for Rape on Ferry" (Expressen).
"Eight Swedes Suspected of Rape on Ferry" (TT – the Swedish News Agency).

On closer inspection, it turned out that seven of the eight suspects were Somalis and one was Iraqi. None of them had Swedish citizenship, so they were not even Swedish in that sense. According to witnesses, the group of men had been scouring the ferry looking for sex. The police released four of them (but they are still suspects) whereas four (all Somalis) remain in custody.

The internet radio station Granskning Sverige called the mainstream newspapers Aftonposten and Expressen to ask why they had described the perpetrators as "Swedish men" when they were actually Somalis. That is irrelevant, said the journalists. They were hugely offended when asked if they felt any responsibility to warn Swedish women to stay away from certain men. One journalist asked why that should be their responsibility.

"If the women knew, then perhaps they would have stayed away from these men and avoided being raped," said the reporter from Granskning Sverige. Whereupon the journalist slammed down the phone.

This is the kind of remarkable stupidity that will destroy Sweden in the next generation. The insane protection of Muslims who brutally rape Swedish girls, and the unwillingness to face the problem, even by the media, endangers every girl and young woman in Sweden. But it appears the government, the judiciary, and the media are fine with that!

Anti-Semitism in Malmö reveals flaws in Swedish immigration system and culture

and few want to talk about it

 "A Jew, I cannot believe that you cannot be a Jew in Sweden!" says Siavosh Derakhti.

The 23-year-old Muslim is the child of Iranian parents, refugees of the Iran-Iraq war. He has become a champion in the fight against anti-Semitism in Malmö, a town a little smaller than Halifax, UK, perched on the southern tip of Sweden.

Muslim immigrants, most with roots in the Middle East, make up nearly a third of Malmö's population.

Cultural tension in the town has been building for years, much of it directed against the new immigrants, but anti-Semitism has also been rising. The Simon Weisenthal Center in Los Angeles issued a travel advisory to Jews in 2010 – don't go to Malmö. It reissued the warning last year.

Derakhti gets hate mail from the far-right and death threats from fellow Muslims. ...Because Islam is a religion of peace.

"When we have let the world into our town, we have the political controversy you have in the Middle East," says Anders Ekelm, vicar of the Church of Sweden in Malmö. "Among those people you will find anti-Semitism. We have to be honest about it."

Sweden has a generous immigration policy – last year the country of 9 million took in 85,000 refugees. According to an OECD study, that is more than twice as many immigrants per capita as any other member country. Canada, in comparison, takes a twentieth as many refugees proportionately. Thank you, Stephen Harper!

In Malmö the immigrants are concentrated in one pocket of the city, Rosengaard. Unemployment in the area runs at 70 per cent, stones are thrown regularly at mail carriers and police, and 150 cars were torched during summer riots in 2013. Protests for and against Muslim immigrants are frequent and tough.

Engineer Peter Fribourg and his wife Marie, a lawyer, are what are now called 'ethnic Swedes.' "It's a tough matter, you have different cultures colliding. We are not succeeding in the way we would like."

Marie agrees, adding that Malmö meant well but was not properly prepared to help the huge influx of immigrants settle. "I was much more liberal and welcoming before … (but) there have been so many in the last few years we do not know how to deal with them. 
They will not assimilate."

Threatened minority

There have been 137 anti-Semitic incidents reported to authorities in Malmö the past two years.

The Rabbi of the Malmö synagogue, Shneur Kesselman, says he has been spat upon and cursed. Most recently, a bottle thrown from a passing car narrowly missed his head, he says.

Some have left because they are scared. The Jewish community in Malmö has shrunk by 50 per cent to about 1,000 in the past 10 years.

"Hatred of Muslims, as bad as it is — and it's terrible — is not challenging the Muslim minority, their safety," Kesselman says.

"Anti-Semitism here in Malmö today is threatening the existence of a minority."

In February, a Palestinian Dane shot and killed two people in Copenhagen, including a guard at a synagogue.  Copenhagen is a 20-minute train ride from Malmö. Police armed with automatic weapons were immediately stationed outside the community centre in Malmö.

"To be honest," says Sofia Lunderquist, administrative director of Malmö's Jewish community centre, "we were in a way happy, because finally the normal Swedes, the Swedish police and Swedish government understood that we're not fantasizing. They have woken up now." We can always hope! But have they really woken up or have they rolled over and gone back to sleep?

Even so, a few months ago, Lunderquist's 19-year-old son Jonathan Vaknine — the only Jew in a school of 1,600 — was swarmed in the hallway, sworn at and pushed around by young men asking 'Are you Jewish?'

Harassment of young Jews in Malmö is not unusual, but the difference is that Vaknine reported it to the police and gave them the name of one of the attackers. It was three months before the police called Vaknine for a statement, and the named youth was not interviewed.

There is a political correctness in Sweden. 

You don't discuss your problems, you push them under the carpet.

A few weeks after the swarming, Swedish television aired an hour-long documentary on anti-Semitism in Malmö. A Swedish journalist put on a kippa, sat at an outdoor café and wandered into Rosengaard. He was called a Jewish Satan, and people threw eggs at him from their apartments.

Siavosh Derakhti was part of that documentary, and "it lit a fire in me," Vaknine says. He contacted Derakhti, who agreed to come to the boy's school to speak.

Derakhti has been awarded Sweden's first Raoul Wallenberg medal, named after the renegade Swedish diplomat who saved the lives of thousands of Hungarian Jews in World War II. He is a national figure, but the principal of Vaknine's school turned him down. 

The school authorities did emphasize their concern for Vaknine's safety, but the student says he told them, "Safe is not enough. That is not the issue. If I hide who I am and hide my identity, of course no one will know I'm a Jew and they will not do anything. But if I am going with kippa, with things that show that I'm a Jew, I'm not sure I would be safe."

Residents say public discussion of immigration-related issues is difficult.

"There is a political correctness in Sweden," Fribourg says. "You don't discuss your problems, you push them under the carpet."

"And if you do talk about them, you are immediately called a racist," adds Lunderquist. "That's a very Swedish response, afraid of tackling problems. It's better to pretend the problem does not exist."

Derakhti was invited to meet U.S. President Barrack Obama when he visited Sweden two years ago, for example, but he is still waiting for a meeting with the Mayor of Malmö.

"Sweden is a country where we always try to reach consensus," says Lena Posner-Körösi, head of the Official Council of Jewish communities in Sweden. "You don't want anyone to be angry at you."

The effect, she maintains, is that nothing happens.

"The growth of the populistic parties all over Europe is a result of not dealing with the problems and not helping to integrate the newcomers to Europe."

A recent poll by Ipsos says the majority of Swedes want to keep the doors open to refugees, and Sweden plans to take in 100,000 this year. But at the same time, there is a growing realization that with immigration must come integration.

While the government remains slow to act, religious leaders and the Chamber of Commerce are now talking social cohesion.

For the first time there are town halls and surveys asking people about changes needed in Malmö. NGOs are moving in to immigrant districts with urban renewal projects.

"Yes, we should open up to everyone who needs to come here," says Posner-Körösi. "My father was one of 500 children allowed to come to Sweden from Berlin in 1939. My father survived because they at least let him and a few others in. We have to help each other. The problem is not letting people in, the problem is what do you do with those who are here."

She says the experiences of those in the Jewish community could ultimately contribute to helping Sweden find the answers to its immigration challenges.

"Jews have been in Europe for 2,000 years. We are integrated without being assimilated. We have so much to teach about minority identity — we have mutual interest to do something positive for future."

What a romantic vision she has! As if Muslims are willing to learn anything from Jews. It's just so Swedish of her!

Sweden has become the country with the second highest rate of rape per capita in the world. Only tiny Lesotho, in south Africa has a higher rate. 

Sweden's Inexplicable Sacrifice of a Generation of Girls

Swedish police have arrested two Afghan men after they locked a local woman in an apartment for seven days over March this year.

The Swedish Free Press (Fria Tider) reports the arrests, in ethnic-conflict city Malmo, took place this week in relation to the ordeal which took place between March 15 and 22. The two men arrested so far, aged 40 and 38, are unable to speak Swedish and required a Pashto interpreter in court – this was despite at least one of the men having lived in Sweden for a year or more, as evidenced by a past conviction for drug offences in 2014.

The men have been charged aggravated rape “jointly and in concert with others” – investigators are still looking into suspicions of other kidnappers. The investigation is still at an “early stage” and as of yet no more details have been released by police.

The town of Malmo itself is now one of Europe’s most violent cities – dubbed ‘Sweden’s Chicago’, the town has a reputation for religious and ethnic violence and is now caught in a “spiral of retaliation”. In the early hours of this morning the city suffered yet another hand-grenade attack, the second in 12 hours and the third this week, as gangs use smuggled or stolen army munitions to carry out revenge attacks on the streets. TheLocal.se reports Swedish police believe the grenade attacks, which are targeted at government buildings, are related to the conviction and imprisonment of three men responsible for a number of bomb attacks over Christmas 2014.

Tensions are growing across Sweden as migrants import sectarian and religious conflicts from the near east. Breitbart London reported this week on how a small group of Christian refugees from Syria were forced out of asylum accommodation “fearing for their own safety” after “fundamental Muslims” sharing the house told them they were not to wear the symbol of the cross or use communal areas when Muslims were present.

Instead of reporting the incident to the police, the Swedish immigration body instead sent a representative to the house to teach the Muslim residents about Swedish law, and to ask them not to do it again.

Muslim given community service for rape of 12 year old

An 18-year-old Somali immigrant to Sweden who violently raped a 12-year-old girl has been punished with a mere 180 hours of community service.

According to recently released court documents, translated by The Daily Caller News Foundation, on Nov. 10, 2014, Guled Mohamud, a Somali citizen who now resides in Sundsvall, lured to his home an unnamed girl who had just days before turned 12 years old. He apparently was able to draw her into his apartment by having a friend claim to possess intimate photographs of her.

Once the girl was in his home, Mohamud violently raped the preteen, tearing her jacket off and holding her to the ground while repeatedly striking her face.

Mohamud then forced the girl to perform oral sex on him, while repeatedly taunting her sexually. When the girl returned home, she was covered with blood and bruises,

Sweden has more rapes per capita than India

After several high profile rapes that have led to lynch mobs or horrific deaths, India’s women’s minister, Maneka Ghandi, said in an interview on Swedish TV network SVT: ‘We have four rapes per 100,000 women, while Sweden has more than 130.’

The most recent figures suggest that it is actually half that number – 57 per 100,000 in 2013 in Sweden and 2.7 in India – but Sweden is still among the highest in the world for reported offences.

So much so that in February this year, the Gatestone Institute described it as the Rape Capital of the West.

Internationally only Lesotho has a higher incidence of rape.

Why then are Swedish judges and law makers too stupid to see that Sweden has already been destroyed by a foreign culture that takes no prisoners. Why are they sacrificing a generation of Swedish girls to the god of political correctness. It's insane!

The Swedes see the welfare systems failing them. Swedes have had to get used to the government prioritizing refugees and migrants above native Swedes.

"There are no apartments, no jobs, we don't dare go shopping anymore [without a gun], but we're supposed to think everything's great. ... Women and girls are raped by these non-European men, who come here claiming they are unaccompanied children, even though they are grown men. ... You Cabinet Ministers live in your fancy residential neighborhoods, with only Swedish neighbors. It should be obligatory for all politicians to live for at least three months in an area consisting mostly of immigrants... [and] have to use public transport." -- Laila, to the Prime Minister.

"Instead of torchlight processions against racism, we need a Prime Minister who speaks out against the violence... Unite everyone. ... Do not make it a racism thing." -- Anders, to the Prime Minister.

"In all honesty, I don't even feel they [government ministers] see the problems... There is no one in those meetings who can tell them what real life looks like." – Laila, on the response she received from the government.

The week after the double murder at IKEA in Västerås, where a man from Eritrea who had been denied asylum grabbed some knives and stabbed Carola and Emil Herlin to death, letters and emails poured into the offices of Swedish Prime Minister (PM) Stefan Löfven. Angry, despondent and desperate Swedes have pled with the Social Democratic PM to stop filling the country with criminal migrants from the Third World or, they write, there is a serious risk of hatred running rampant in Sweden. One woman suggested that because the Swedish media will not address these issues, Löfven should start reading foreign newspapers, and wake up to the fact that Sweden is sinking fast.

During the last few decades, Swedes have had to get used to the government (left and right wing parties alike) prioritizing refugees and migrants above native Swedes. The high tax level (the average worker pays 42% income tax) was been accepted in the past, because people knew that if they got sick, or when they retired or otherwise needed government aid, they would get it.

Now, Swedes see the welfare system failing them. More and more senior citizens fall into the "indigent" category; close to 800,000 of Sweden's 2.1 million retirees, despite having worked their whole lives, are forced to live on between 4,500 and 5,500 kronor ($545 - $665) a month. Meanwhile, seniors who immigrate to Sweden receive the so-called "elderly support subsidy" -- usually a higher amount -- even though they have never paid any taxes in Sweden.

Worse, in 2013 the government decided that people staying in the country illegally have a right to virtually free health and dental care. So while the destitute Swedish senior citizen must choose between paying 100,000 kronor ($12,000) to get new teeth or living toothless, a person who does not even have the right to stay in Sweden can get his teeth fixed for 50 kronor ($6).

The injustice, the housing shortage, the chaos surrounding refugee housing units and the sharp slide of Swedish students in PISA tests -- all these changes have caused the Swedes to become disillusioned. The last straw was that Prime Minister Löfven had nothing to say about the murders at IKEA.

Gatestone Institute contacted to the Swedish government, to obtain emails sent to the Prime Minister concerning the IKEA murders. According to the "principle of public access to official documents," all Swedes have the right to study public documents kept by authorities -- with no questions asked about one's identity or purpose. The government, however, was clearly less than enthusiastic about sharing the emails: It took a full month of reminders and phone calls before they complied with the request.

What follows are excerpts from emails sent from private citizens to Prime Minister Stefan Löfven:

From Mattias, a social worker and father of four, "a dad who wants my kids to grow up in Sweden the way I had the good fortune of doing, without explosions, hand grenades, car fires, violence, rape and murder at IKEA":

"Hi Stefan. I am a 43-year-old father of four, who is trying to explain to my children, ages 6-16, what is going on in Sweden. I am sad to say that you and your party close your eyes to what is happening in Sweden. All the things that are happening [are] due to the unchecked influx from abroad. You are creating a hidden hatred in Sweden. We are dissatisfied with the way immigration is handled in Sweden, from asylum housing to school issues. And it takes so long to get a job, many people give up before they even get close. Mattias"

Marcus, 21, wrote:

"Hi Stefan, I am one of the people who voted for you. I live in Helsingborg, still with my parents because there are no apartments available. I can see where I live that as soon as an old person moves out, eight foreigners immediately move in: they just bypass us young, Swedish people in line. With all that is going on in Sweden ­-- rapes, robberies, the IKEA murders and so on -- why aren't non-Swedes sent back to their countries when they commit crimes? Of course we should help refugees, but they should be the right kind of refugees. ... I'm sorry to say this, Stefan, but the Sweden Democrats should be allowed to rule for four years and remove the people who do not abide by the laws, and who murder or destroy young women's lives. It is horrible, I have a job that pays poorly because there are no jobs. Sweden has more people than jobs."

Peter wrote:

"Esteemed Prime Minister. I am writing to you because I am very worried about the development in Swedish society. I am met daily by news of shootings, exploding hand grenades/bombs, beatings, rapes and murders. This is our Sweden, the country that, when you and I grew up, was considered one of the safest in the world.

"You, in your role as Prime Minister, have a responsibility to protect everyone in the land, regardless of whether they were born here or not. Unfortunately, I can see that you are not taking your responsibility seriously. I follow the news daily, and despite our now having suffered another act of madness, this time against a mother and son at IKEA, I do not see any commitment from you? ...

"You should emphatically condemn the violent developments we see in this country, allocate resources to the police, customs and district attorneys to slow and fight back (not just build levees and overlook) criminal activity."

Sebastian wrote:

"Hi Stefan! After reading about the horrible deed at IKEA in Västerås, I am now wondering what you are going to do to make me feel safe going to stores and on the streets of Sweden. What changes will there be to make sure this never happens again? Will immigration really continue the same way?"

Benny wrote:

"Hi, I'm wondering, why is the government quiet about such an awful incident? The whole summer has been characterized by extreme violence, shootings, knifings and explosions. The government needs to take vigorous action so we can feel safe."

Laila's subject line reads: "Is it supposed to be like this?"

"Are we supposed to go outside without arming ourselves? Rape after rape occurs and no one is doing anything about it. I was born and raised in Vårby Gård, but seven years ago, we had to move because we couldn't take the dogs out in the evenings due to the non-Europeans driving on the sidewalks. If you didn't move out of the way, they would jump out of the car and hit you. If you called the police, they do nothing -- in a suburb of Stockholm. When my brother told some of these men off, a rocket (the kind you use at New Year's) appeared in his mailbox. You can imagine how loud the blast was. Women and girls are raped by these non-European men, who come here claiming they are unaccompanied children, even though they are grown men....

"It is easy to get weapons today, I wonder if that is what we Swedes need to do, arm ourselves to dare to go shopping. Well, now I am getting to what happened at a major department store: Two people were killed and not just killed, there is talk online of beheading.

"The Prime Minister will not say a word, but resources are allocated to asylum housings, a slap in the face for the relatives who just had two of their kin slain. Swedish newspapers will not say a word, but fortunately, there are foreign newspapers that tell the truth. We Swedes can't change apartments, we live five people in three bedrooms. Two of us are unemployed, looking, looking and looking for work. The only option is employment agencies. I'm 50 years old, on part-time sick leave because of two chronic illnesses, I cannot run around from one place to another. But more and more asylum seekers keep coming in. There are no apartments, no jobs, we don't dare go shopping anymore, but we're supposed to think everything's great.

"Unfortunately, I believe the Prime Minister needs to start reading foreign newspaper to find out that Sweden is going under. I found out that the mass immigration costs billions every year, and the only thing the immigrants do is smoke waterpipes in places like Vårby Gård. This is happening in other places too, of course. Now it's starting to spread; you will see that in the opinion polls, next time they are published. Soon, all Swedes will vote for the Sweden Democrats. They are getting more and more supporters every day.

"You Cabinet Ministers do not live in the exposed areas, you live in your fancy residential neighborhoods, with only Swedish neighbors. It should be obligatory for all politicians to live for at least three months in an area consisting mostly of immigrants, the car should be taken from you so you'd have to use public transport. ... After three months, you would see my point.

"I am scared stiff of what is happening in this country. What will the government do about this?"

Anders wrote:

"Hi Stefan, why don't you, as our Prime Minister, react more against all the violence that is escalating in our country? [Such as] the double murder at IKEA in Västerås. Add to that the bombings and other things happening in Malmö. Instead of torchlight processions against racism, we need a Prime Minister who speaks out against the violence, who says that it's wrong no matter which ethnic group is behind it or at the receiving end of it.

"Because all the people living in Sweden are Swedish, right? A torchlight procession against racism only highlights the fact that it's immigrants committing these crimes. What we need now is a clear signal from our popularly elected [officials] that violence needs to stop now. Sweden is supposed to be a haven away from violence.

"I'm asking you as our Prime Minister, take a stand against the violence. Unite everyone in Sweden into one group and do not make it a racism thing."

Some of the people received a reply from Carl-Johan Friman, of the Government Offices Communications Unit; others have not received any reply at all. A typical response goes:

"Thank you for your email to Prime Minister Stefan Löfven. I've been asked to reply and confirm that your email has reached the Prime Minister's Office and is now available for the Prime Minister and his staff. It is of course not acceptable that people should be exposed to violence and criminal activities in their everyday life. Many efforts are made to counteract violence, and quite correctly, this needs to be done without pitting groups against each other. Thank you for taking the time to write and share your views, they are important in shaping government policies."

Gatestone Institute contacted Laila, one of the people who emailed, and asked her if she was satisfied with the answer she got. Laila replied:

"No, I'm not satisfied with the answer, because they didn't even respond to what I was talking about. In all honesty, I don't even feel they see the problems. They're talking about what it looks like when they have their meetings, but there's no one in those meetings who can tell them what real life looks like. It feels like the answer I got was just a bunch of nonsense. They understand that people are scared. They talk about demonstrating against racism; they seem to be completely lost. The politicians do not understand how things work in Swedish society, because they live in their safe, snug neighborhoods where things are quiet. But a lot of Swedes are forced to live in immigrant-heavy neighborhoods, because they cannot afford an apartment somewhere else."

The anger at the government's non-reaction to the IKEA-murders also led to a demonstration at Sergels Torg, Stockholm's main public square, on September 15. Hundreds of protesters demanded the government's resignation, and held a minute of silence for the slain mother and son, Carola and Emil Herlin. The organizers plan to hold similar protests every month throughout Sweden.

Thank God, the Swedish people are beginning to wake up. Unfortunately the government and media are still suffering from Ostrich Syndrome, and may have forgotten, or refuse to believe that there is a real world going on around them. A world that is degenerating at astonishing speed. A world where they are needed - needed to see and speak truth rather than the spectacularly stupid political correctness they seem stuck on.

According to figures from the French Ministry of Gender Equality, every year in France, 94,000 women report being victims of rape or attempted rape. But in 2021, barely 1 percent of the reported assaults resulted in a conviction. 

In addition to the emotional and psychological trauma, rape victims also have to deal with an unyielding administrative system and stereotypes, which often affect procedures and verdicts. 

France appears to be decades behind some countries in its treatment of rape victims.

Rape has been documented across French history. Georges Vigarello in his 2001 book writes about the history of rape in France, highlighting events from 16th to 20th century. He states that rape has historically been seen as a form of violence, but not punished as such.[1]

Statistics:

Annual rape and all forms of sexual assaults per 100,000 people.

In 1971, the rate of declared rapes stood at 2.0 per 100,000 people.

[2] In 1995, it was 12.5.

[3] In 2009, it stood at 16.2.

[4] According to a 2012 report, about 75,000 rapes take place each year.

[5] In 2012, there were 1,293 reported rapes in a population of 66 million,

[6] and 1,188 rapes in 2013 in a population of 66 million.

Rape rate of France increased from 15.9 cases per 100,000 population in 2006 to 20.1 cases per 100,000 population in 2015 growing at an average annual rate of 2.72%.

[8] According to a 2014 report, about 5,000 to 7,000 of the rapes are gang rapes.

Except for [4] these numbers are for the number of reported rapes which account for only about 10 percent of all rapes in France. And only about 10% of reported rapes end in convictions - 1% of all rapes. That is not even close to justice, and, in fact, is virtual approval of rape in France.

It would be nice to have a graph of the number of Muslims in the country from 1971 to current, but collecting such information is against the law in France. Consequently, estimates of the percentage of the French population being Muslim vary significantly.

The reason I mention this is because there is a very good correlation between the increasing number of Muslim migrants in Sweden and the skyrocketing number of Swedish girls being raped or gang raped. I can't imagine it being any different in France.

The body of a 20-year-old Syrian woman, "Rokstan M.," was unearthed from a shallow grave in the small Saxon town of Dessau last week. Her father and brothers stabbed her to death on her mother's orders, after she was gang-raped by three men. The rape left her "unclean" and the mother allegedly demanded the killing to restore the family's honor. German police are seeking the father and brothers.

That by itself is not newsworthy. What is newsworthy is that this affair did not appear in any of Germany's major daily newspapers or websites. The tabloid Bild-Zeitung ran the story, along with the regional press, while the arbiters of enlightened opinion buried it. Der Spiegel, the country's biggest news site, and the Frankfurter Algemeine Zeitung, the newspaper of record, made no mention.

The case of Rokstan M. is heart-rending. She had found work in Germany as a translator for the government, but she knew her family would track her down and kill her. "I am awaiting death. But I am too young to die," she had written on a social media profile. Her story deserves a line or two in the quality press. But it's one of many that German leaders want to ignore.

Political leaders in Germany—which may absorb 1.5 million migrants this year—are struggling to respond to reports of a sex crime epidemic among newly-arrived Muslims. Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere urged Germans not to believe rumors of widespread rape at refugee centers, while Germany's police union chief Rainer Wendt warned, "There is a lot of glossing over going on. But this doesn't represent reality." Wendt added, "It is understandable that there is the desire to calm things down politically."

Germany's elite knows perfectly well that the migrants bring social pathologies, because they have already seen the world's worst sex crime epidemic unfold in Scandinavia. Sweden now has the highest incidence of reported rape outside of a few African countries, and nearly ten times the rate of its European peers—and all this has happened in the past ten years.

Sweden ranks near the top of the World Economic Forum's Gender Gap Index, yet it has become the most dangerous country for women outside of Africa, with an incidence of rape ten times that of its European peers. Sweden's political leaders not only refuse to take action, but have made it a criminal offense to talk about it.

Even in liberated, feminist, gender-neutral Sweden, there is something more horrible than rape, something horrible enough to persuade the political elite to sacrifice the physical and mental health of tens of thousands of Swedish women. That is the horror of social disintegration in the Muslim world. Sweden opened its borders to refugees twenty years before the migrant flood arrived on Germany's doorstep, and the foreign born rose from 9% of the population in 1990 to 15.4% in 2012. Foreigners have a higher birth rate, so the percentage is higher including second-generation immigrants.

There have been protests, to be sure, and nationalist parties like the Sweden Democrats have gained support on an anti-immigration platform, but Sweden will remain supine as its social fabric unravels. So, I expect, will Germany. Europe is transfixed by the horror unfolding from Libya to Afghanistan, as one of the world's major civilizations unravels in real time. In its moment of agony, the Muslim world's most potent weapon is its own weakness. The human cost of the collapse of Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria is horrendous, but it is small thus far compared to the horrors that would attend instability in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The West can't bear to look at it.

The incidence of rape in Sweden has tripled in the past ten years as the country became Europe's premier destination for Muslim immigrants. Writing for the Gatestone Institute, Ingrid Carlqvist and Lars Hedegaard observe,

Since 2000, there has only been one research report on immigrant crime. It was done in 2006 by Ann-Christine Hjelm from Karlstads University. It emerged that in 2002, 85% of those sentenced to at least two years in prison for rape in 2002 were foreign born or second-generation immigrants.

A 1996 report by the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention reached the conclusion that immigrants from 

North Africa (Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia) were 23 times as likely to commit rape as Swedish men. The figures for 

men from Iraq, Bulgaria and Romania were, respectively, 20, 18 and 18. 

Men from the rest of Africa were 16 times more prone to commit rape; and 

men from Iran, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, 10 times as prone as Swedish men.

A new trend reached Sweden with full force over the past few decades: gang rape — virtually unknown before in Swedish criminal history. The number of gang rapes increased spectacularly between 1995 and 2006. Since then no studies of them have been undertaken.

Sweden not only stands by while a large number of its women are raped, but outlaws public discussion of the causes. Michael Hess, a Social-Democratic politician, was condemned by a Swedish court under a law forbidding denigration of ethnic groups. for writing in 2014, "There is a strong connection between rapes in Sweden and the number of immigrants from MENA countries [Middle East and North Africa]."

The stupidity in the Swedish establishment is breath-taking. From the government to the judiciary to the media, the astonishingly irresponsible attitude borders on the insane. How many of your beautiful girl's lives must be destroyed before you wake up? What you are doing is really not far from treason.

Sweden, like Germany, has in the last decade open wide its doors to Muslim economic migrants posing as refugees. Even when there is no reason for them to remain in Sweden, because the ostensible cause of the danger to them at home has disappeared, they are almost never deported. Three Syrian economic migrants in Sweden have just been charged with raping an underage girl while holding her hostage in a locked bathroom. One of the rapists sent a picture of the rape to a friend on Snapchat — no sense in not letting fellow Muslims enjoy the spectacle of an Infidel girl being raped by three Muslims. They had been allowed into Sweden by posing as refugees who would ostensibly be harmed in Syria because of that country’s civil war. But now that that civil war is essentially over, they have been allowed to remain, rather than being sent back to their now-pacified country. And instead of integrating into, and contributing to, Swedish society, they are in no hurry to find employment. They prefer instead to take advantage of every possible benefit the generous Swedish welfare state has on offer: free or heavily subsidized housing, free medical care, free education, unemployment payments (even without a work history in Sweden), family allowances, and more. Why work when this cornucopia is readily available?

Three Syrian citizens have now been charged and brought to trial for raping an underage girl in Sweden and transmitting child pornography. They are now appearing in Linköping district court for the crime, which was committed in September 2022.

The three suspects, two aged 17 and another one 18, are accused of raping an underage girl in a public toilet at the Garden Association in central Linköping on Sept. 18, but they are only appearing in court now over a year after the incident.

Police say the suspects locked the door and prevented the girl from escaping. All three suspects then raped her in turns, according to Swedish newspaper Nyheter Idag.

Police obtained footage of one of the rapes, which one of the suspects recorded with his smartphone and sent to a contact on Snapchat. This suspect has therefore been also charged with transmitting child pornography.

DNA was also obtained from two of the three suspects when a rape kit was ordered for the young victim.

Since all the suspects were under the age of 18 at the time, they will be charged as juveniles. The suspects also all require an interpreter in Arabic.

I would be happy to interpret if I'm allowed to take my baseball bat into the courtroom. My baseball bat named, "The Interpreter". 

So they’ve been living in Sweden, pocketing every conceivable government benefit, but not bothering to learn the language. How can they be expected to integrate into Swedish society, and find work, if they haven’t performed the most essential of tasks — learning Swedish so as to communicate with the people who have allowed them into their midst?

They deny that they committed the crime….

Of course they do. Why should these three Muslim Arabs tell the truth to Infidels, who are “the most vile of created beings” (Qur’an 98:6)? Besides, the girl they raped was not dressed in modest Muslim fashion. Her clothing was of a Swedish come-hither variety. Unlike a Muslim girl, she did not modestly lower her eyes when speaking to men, but met their gaze with the bedroom eyes of an Infidel girl. She had it coming.

The madness of the government

Yet like almost all European governments, the Swedish government refuses to follow the wishes of its people, who after their brutal experience with Muslim migrants who have arrived in the last decade, would like much stricter limits, or even a complete halt, placed on Muslim migration. And those governments try to prevent the dissemination of academic studies that reveal some unpleasant home truths about the behavior of Muslim migrants once they have been admitted to European countries. Two well-known academic researchers, studying the background of those convicted of sexual crimes including rape, came to a conclusion they had not expected: that foreign-born, mostly Muslim, migrants had rates of conviction for sexual assault, and especially for rape, far out of proportion to their numbers in the general population. And the Swedish government, instead of letting the public know about these findings, which would naturally lead to an even greater increase in opposition to such migrants than has already been observed, is deliberately trying to defund those researchers who choose to study such matters, and in the case of the two academic researchers Prof. Kristina Sundquist and Prof. Ardavan Khoshnood, to punish them for daring to publish their findings, so damning on the subject of the Muslims and sexual assault.

This is how a country commits suicide. The ruling political elite in Sweden, afraid to publicly recognize the menace within that it has helped create by allowing in large numbers of Muslim economic migrants, wants to put off the day of reckoning when the public finally is made aware of the scope of the Muslim problem. But despite their machinations, including attempts to punish such intrepid researchers as Khoshnood and Sundquist, that day is coming. It can’t come fast enough.

Educating immigrants coming into Sweden about liberal values is essential for combating the growing number of rapes in the country, Swedish Labor and Integration Minister Mats Persson has claimed.

Up to 63% of all those convicted of rape in Sweden between 2000 and 2020 were born in another country or had parents who arrived from abroad, recent research by Lund University has found.

Persson, who was asked to comment on the study during an interview with the Expressen newspaper on Sunday, said that “you cannot close your eyes to the fact that values matter.”

A high number of sexual assaults are being committed by migrants from the Middle East and Africa because those “men… grow up in patriarchal structures where they do not have the same view of gender equality as we have in our liberal Sweden,” the minister explained.

According to his department, 100-hour civic orientation courses are being offered to every foreigner who comes to live in the country.

 EU state demands ‘honest life’ from immigrants

“We want the education system to focus much more on liberal values, women’s rights, issues of ‘honor violence’ and, of course, also issues of sexuality. And we must not only inform, but also through a test, ensure that people understand what values apply in our country,” he said.

The government is now working to establish if these courses need to be extended and made mandatory, Persson added.

The Swedish authorities must also be “very clear that there are harsh penalties and deportations” for those who commit rape, he said.

“The government’s general orientation is that we want to increase the penalties in Sweden. This is incredibly important, for people to feel that the system is fair,” he explained.

EU asylum applications fall sharply – data

According to data published by EU’s statistical office Eurostat last year, Sweden had the highest per-capita number of recorded rapes in the bloc in 2022, with 86 such crimes per 100,000 people, followed by Iceland (68.04) and France (53.13).

These numbers confirm the Nordic Paradox is still happening.
