Sidney, Iowa man faces at least 25-years in prison
SIDNEY, Iowa —A Sidney, Iowa man known as the "Cowboy Preacher", faces a minimum sentence of 25-years in prison for sexual abuse and two counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child.
Roger Craig Kissel, 68, was convicted in Fremont County, Iowa District Court.
Investigators say Kissel sexually abused a minor in his home sometime during the spring and summer of 2013.
Kissel described himself as the founding Pastor of the Sidney Cowboy Church.
He will be sentenced on May 4th. Under Iowa law, he faces a prison sentence of at least 25-years.
