Islamic fathers, brothers, uncles, and cousins are the most likely to perform honour killings, but short of murder, mothers are often the most vicious in meting out punishments to daughters.

Honor violence is rampant in Islam, given the inferior status of women (See HERE and HERE), sanctioned by the Sharia. As Robert Spencer has explained:
In the Qur’an, a mysterious figure, known as Khidr in Islamic tradition, kills a boy in an apparently random and gratuitous attack. He then explains: “And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief. So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.” (18:80-81)
And according to Islamic law, “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (Reliance of the Traveller o1.1-2).
And in Islam, it isn’t forbidden to marry one’s first cousin:
Forbidden to you are your mothers, and your daughters, and your sisters, and your father’s sisters, and your mother’s sisters, and your brother’s daughters and your sister’s daughters, and your foster-mothers, and your foster-sisters, and your mothers-in-law, and your stepdaughters who are under your protection, of your women to whom you have gone in, but if you have not gone in to them, then it is no sin for you, and the wives of your sons from your own loins. (Qur’an 4:23)
“Rhonda” is a voiceless victim, like all too many women who have suffered at the hands of Sharia adherents. In Britain, the problem is even worse than it is in Australia. With the proliferation Sharia courts in the UK (which is sanctioning the human rights abuses that align with Sharia,) and its open migration policies, the silent torture of women is likely much more commonplace than most people realize. A Sharia court recently handed down a sentence approving of honor killing, and another ordered a traumatized woman to return to her abusive rapist husband.

A woman allegedly beaten against a concrete wall by her mother for not marrying her first cousin will never set foot in the family home again, a court has been told.
Enam Hmeed, 45, and her husband Mohamed Al-Fadhli were arrested in April after police allegedly discovered their daughter Rhonda in their convenience store in western NSW with a metal chain padlocked around her neck.
Police allege Hmeed and Al-Fadhli assaulted their 21-year-old daughter on separate occasions after finding out she was still in contact with her boyfriend, who had asked the parents for permission to marry her.
The marriage proposal had been refused because the father wanted his eldest daughter to marry his brother’s son – the woman’s first cousin – in an arranged marriage, police say.
After discovering Rhonda on the phone with her boyfriend, Hmeed allegedly grabbed her daughter by the hair and hit her head against a concrete wall multiple times.
The mother is also accused of biting her daughter and attacking her with a garden hose.
Al-Fadhli allegedly travelled nearly 400km back to the family’s shop in Dubbo from Sydney Airport after hearing from his wife about the secret phone call…..
Rhonda should marry her boyfriend if they are so inclined and move away from NSW and never see her family again. Otherwise, they will pretend to want her back and when she comes to them they will kill both Rhonda and her boyfriend. That is what Muslims call honour-killing. There are many such stories on this blog.
