The Flagstaff Police Department would like to make the following sex offender notifications:

David Anthony Riley, 49, is listed at 2440 East Lucky Lane in Flagstaff. He was convicted of sexual battery in 2014.

Sex offender notifications are required by Arizona law. They are not wanted by the law enforcement at this time. Resident abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated by the police department.





     

December 21, 2025 – SACRAMENTO, CAJavier Robert Barraza, 44, of Oroville, was sentenced on Friday by U.S. District Judge Dena Coggins to 21 years in prison for sexual exploitation of a child, U.S. Attorney Eric Grant announced.

GavelAccording to court documents, Barraza paid multiple women to sexually abuse young boys during video calls with him for his own sexual gratification. Barraza recorded these video calls, adding them to his collection of more than 1,000 videos and images of child sexual abuse material that he maintained on his phones and tablet. Barraza also shared his child sexual abuse material on internet sharing platforms and in text messages to individuals. Barraza made multiple attempts to pay for the services of “a girl around age 10” to perform oral sex on him.

This case was the product of an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations, with assistance from the Redding Police Department, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Forest Service. Assistant U.S. Attorney Veronica M.A. Alegría prosecuted the case.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Led by the United States Attorneys’ Offices and the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute those who sexually exploit children, and to identify and rescue victims.
