Young Sex Predator Claims She was Abused by Her Ma

"Clearly perverted; not afraid to kill"

By: Ador Vincent S. Mayol - Senior Reporter / @adorCDNPhilippine Daily Inquirer

CEBU CITY, Philippines—The suspected sexual predator has told authorities that she wanted her victims to go through the same ordeal she had as a child.

Liezyl Margallo, 23, told agents of the National Bureau of Investigation who arrested her that she, too, was physically abused by her own mother when she was young.

“Apparently, that was a traumatic experience for her,” lawyer Janet Francisco, head of the Manila-based NBI Anti-Human Trafficking Division, told the Inquirer in an interview.

Margallo was arrested on Malapascua Island on the northern tip of Cebu on Wednesday by NBI agents who served the 16 pending arrest warrants against her, ending a manhunt that lasted nearly two years.

She was flown back to Cagayan de Oro City, where she is now detained. Margallo is facing a string of charges for the torture and sexual abuse of at least nine childrenone of whom died.

Speaking to Francisco, Margallo claimed she was maltreated by her mother.

“She wanted to retaliate by hurting children, and she found pleasure in doing it,” Francisco said, adding: “I sat down with her and she told me she regretted everything she did to the kids. (But) she has to answer for everything she committed against the children. Inasmuch as we pity her, justice must be served.”

Is there something that her mother can be charged with - creating a monster, or something?

Aussie partner

Margallo and her live-in partner, Australian Peter Gerard Scully, who was arrested in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, in February 2015, are facing charges of violating provisions of the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009, and the Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act and Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003.

The couple allegedly conspired in luring female street children and young scavengers into their fold, forcing them to perform sexual acts, torturing them and killing a 12-year-old girl.

Before her arrest, Margallo reportedly rented a condominium unit in uptown Cebu City for P13,000 a month, availed of a membership in a posh gym, and traveled to different local destinations like Bohol as a tourist guide, who offering sex for a fee, the NBI said.

Investigation showed that Margallo and Scully started videotaping lewd actions of minors after they met in the Philippines in 2011.

With the use of a laptop, Scully and Margallo filmed the videos in different areas in Mindanao, featuring young girls who were lured with promises of money and comfortable lives in exchange for performing lewd acts.

The couple would make these films in response to requests from foreign clients, who paid to livestream videos of children being tortured and sexually abused. The couple sold every video at $10,000.

The victims, aged 1 to 12 years old, were rescued in 2015 and are now under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Cagayan de Oro City.

Francisco said the NBI continues its investigation to identify and arrest possible cohorts of Margallo in the Philippines.

Maryjun Delgado, a psychologist based in Cebu City, said that judging by the way the accused acted, Margallo’s behavior was clearly perverted.

“She wants to hurt kids to appease her experiences. She wants to feel how it is to be an abuser, and she enjoys what she’s doing. And yes, she is not afraid to kill,”  Delgado said.

Child Sex Predator Peter Scully Dealt Legal Blow with Arrest of Accomplice

Lindsay Murdoch
Sydney Morning Herald

The former live-in partner and co-accused of alleged child sex predator and "dark web" mastermind Peter Scully has been arrested in a blow to the Australian man's chances of escaping conviction and possible execution in the Philippines.

Liezyl Margallo, 23, led police to a house in 2015 where they discovered the body of a 12 year-old girl who Scullly allegedly held as a sex and torture slave for months before strangling her and burying her body in a shallow grave.

She is expected to testify in court against 52 year-old Scully in the most shocking cases of child abuse and trafficking that Philippine officials have seen.

Police allowed Margallo, a former prostitute, to go free at the time of Scully's arrest in a part-Australian Federal Police operation in 2015 because they had not gathered evidence against her.

But they have been hunting her for more than 12 months after evidence emerged that she was the masked and naked woman shown in a video called Daisy's Destruction which Scully is alleged to have sold to clients across the world for $10,000.

The video shows an 18-month old baby girl  tied by her feet upside down while being sexually assaulted.

Welfare workers say the girl remains deeply traumatised and becomes hysterical when memories of her abuse are triggered.

Scully, a former Melbourne businessman who fled Australia in 2011 to escape fraud charges, has pleaded not guilty to 75 charges in a court in the city of Cagayan de Oro, forcing at least 10 of his alleged victims to go through the ordeal of testifying, despite repeatedly telling Philippine media he was "remorseful" for what he had done to children.

Eight of the children aged up to 12 are in the custody of the Department of Social Welfare.

The girl that Scully allegedly murdered was a former city scavenger who Margallo allegedly recruited with promises of food and schooling.

Two other girls were allegedly forced to dig their own graves before escaping.

Appearing in court last September wearing a prison T-shirt and runners, Scully refused to comment to Fairfax Media but laughed and joked with other prisoners.

Jaime Umpa, the chief prosecutor in the case, has called for the death penalty to be re-introduced so that Scully could be executed.

Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte, a former provincial mayor known as "The Punisher" is pushing for lawmakers to reintroduce the death penalty, including for rape and murder.

Margallo was arrested last week walking along a beachfront with two British men on Malapascua island near Cebu.

She initially claimed she was someone else but admitted her identity after being shown copies of arrest warrants and her photograph.

Margallo will face charges that include human trafficking and child abuse for which she could receive multiple life sentences if convicted.

"If I were to describe her (Margallo) I would call her a savage girl for what she has done to the kids. I think that description fits her," a lead investigator Dominador Cimafranca told reporters.

Scully's trial is expected to take years in Philippine's log-jammed judicial system.

He has told guards at the jail where he is being held that he was sexually abused by priest when he was child growing up in Victoria.

Could this be the legacy of pedophile priests and the Bishops who enabled them? More blood on their hands?

Woman Arrested for Her Part in Snuff and Baby-Rape Videos

Police arrest 'masked woman who took part in world's most notorious child sex abuse video'

Notorious Australian paedophile Peter Scully is already in jail on charges of being the man behind the appalling video
BY ANTHONY BOND

Liezyl Margallo has been arrested and is now facing a number of charges

A woman accused of appearing in an horrific child abuse video during which an infant girl is raped on camera has reportedly being arrested.

Two women are thought to have appeared in Daisy's Destruction in which a Filipina girl is horrifically abused.

Notorious Australian paedophile Peter Scully is already in jail on charges of being the man behind the appalling video. The Australian has confessed his crimes to a news crew.

Police have been searching for the masked women who also appeared in the videos and now believe they have made a breakthrough.

Local news station ABS reports a woman has been arrested and is now in custody.

Masked woman who appeared in notorious sex abuse tape

The station says Liezyl Margallo, 23, had 16 pending warrants of arrests and is facing charges on human trafficking, anti-photo and video voyeurism, and the anti-child abuse act.

It is claimed Margallo was using different aliases to conceal her identity.

Scully himself was arrested last 2015 in Cagayan De Oro City and was charged with multiple child sex offenses, including one that involved an 18-month-old infant.

Investigators say he and Margallo were involved in recruiting young girls for cybersex activities, and in at least one case, going as far as torturing the victims to death.

The channel says the pair are said to be behind the sex and physical abuse videos, with Filipina girls as victims.

The footage is then sold on to clients around the world, and as the news channel reports, mostly to the United Kingdom and USA.

Shockingly, it is claimed that even after Scully was arrested and locked up awaiting trial, Margallo allegedly continued the illegal business, and roamed provinces looking for potential victims.

Since Scully started his operation in 2011, the NBI has already accounted for 11 victims.

On Friday, Margallo was brought back to Cagayan De Oro City where she will be detained, said ABS.

She was presented to Judge Hose Escobido of RTC Branch 37 who will hear all of her cases.

The NBI served 14 arrest warrants to the cohort but said she has still 59 other cases of child sex offenses together with Scully.

She is supposed to be committed to Cagayan de Oro City Jail Friday but due to lack of time she will be temporarily detained in NBI 10 detention cell.
