Child Sex Abuse in India > "Indian Men are the most Lecherous in all the Orient"; 4 and 5 y/o girls sexually assaulted by Indian school worker

Some of the most astonishingly evil stories of child sexual abuse come out of India.

In India as Jan Huygen van Linschoten wrote in the 16th century in The Voyage of J H van Linschoten to the East Indies: Linschoten describes the Indians as “the most leacherous and unchaste nation in all the orient, so that there are verie few women children (girls) among them of seven or eight yeares old, that have their maiden-heades.” (i.e. virginity).

Dalit woman in India alleges rape by 64 men

over five years

And she is only 18 years old now!

An 18-year-old Dalit woman from the southern India state of Kerala has accused 64 men of sexually abusing her since she was 13 years old.

Police have arrested 28 people in connection with the case so far - the men are in custody and have not made any public statement.

The accused, who range between 17 and 47 years of age, include the woman's neighbours, sports coaches and her father's friends, police told the BBC.

The woman reported the alleged abuse after a team of counsellors working under a government scheme visited her house.

Police have registered about 18 cases under India's various crime laws as well as the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act - which is a law to prevent crimes against people belonging to lower castes and tribes in India.

Dalits lie at the bottom of the Hindu caste hierarchy and face widespread discrimination in India despite laws to protect them.

Cases have also been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, since the abuse took place when the woman was a minor, senior police official Nandakumar S told BBC Hindi.

More cases are expected to be registered in the coming days as the police are still investigating the matter. A 25-member team has been set up.

Police say that the alleged abuse began when the girl was 13 years old. Her neighbour allegedly molested her and took sexually explicit photographs of her, the News Minute website reported.

Her neighbour allegedly sexually abused her again when she was 16 years old, recorded videos of the abuse and shared it with several others who continued to assault the woman over many years.

A lawyer who heads the district's Child Welfare Committee (CWC) told the Indian Express newspaper that the woman was an athlete and attended various sports camps, which could have facilitated further abuse.

Police say that the woman was allegedly gangraped three times in the past five years.

Her alleged abusers reportedly used her father's phone number to contact her and the woman stored their contacts in the phone. The police are now using the phone to trace the accused.

The woman's family was reportedly unaware of the alleged abuse.

The matter came to light when a team of counsellors visited the woman's home last month. The counsellors alerted the CWC about the matter and the woman was asked to appear before the committee along with her mother.

"She was given counselling, and she opened up before a psychologist, narrating the sexual abuse she has been facing since the age of 13," the CWC chief told the Indian Express.

He added that the woman had been shifted to a shelter associated with the CWC for her protection.

The woman's allegations have sent shockwaves across the country. She is expected to give a detailed statement about the alleged abuse to a woman police officer.

Badlapur sexual assault victims very young, trial must be fast-tracked: HC

In August last year, a male attendant sexually assaulted the two girls - aged four and five - inside the toilet of their school located in Badlapur area of Maharashtra's Thane district

The Bombay High Court on Monday said the trial in the last year's Badlapur school sexual assault case should be fast-tracked and conducted expeditiously as the victim girls are very young.

In August last year, a male attendant sexually assaulted the two girls - aged four and five - inside the toilet of their school located in Badlapur area of Maharashtra's Thane district.

He was arrested and later killed in a shootout with police when he was being taken from jail for questioning.

The Special Investigation (SIT), set up by the Maharashtra government to conduct a probe into the case, has filed its chargesheet.

The chargesheet was filed against the attendant, the school's headmaster and two members of its management for "failing to report" the sexual assault, as required under provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The high court took suo motu (on its own) cognisance of the incident after it came to light that the local Badlapur police had not taken prompt action to lodge an FIR in the case.

On Monday, public prosecutor Hiten Venegaonkar informed the bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Neela Gokhale that the probe into the case was over, chargesheet filed and now trial would be held.

The court then emphasised the need to keep the trial fast-tracked.

"The case will have to be fast-tracked and conducted expeditiously as the victim girls are of a very young age," the court said.

As mandated under the POCSO Act, a woman prosecutor would have to be present while examining the girls, it added.

Venegaonkar said a lady prosecutor has been appointed to assist the special public prosecutor in the case.

The bench posted the matter for further hearing on January 20, by when the prosecution will have to inform the stage of the trial.

Last year, the bench also ordered for a committee of experts to be set up to examine the safety of children in schools and other educational institutions.

Venegaonkar on Monday said the committee was yet to submit its report of recommendations.

The HC said that if by the next date of hearing the report is submitted, the same shall be produced before it too.

Venegaonkar also told the court that as per the Maharashtra government's policy, the education of the girls would be free of cost till Class 8.

"A proposal has been made to make their (victim girls) education free for classes 9 and 10 too," he said.

On January 20, the HC would also hear the petition filed by father of the deceased attendant, alleging his son was killed in a fake encounter by police.

In 12 years of documenting these horror stories from India, I have never heard of police doing anything like that in defence of girls unless there was something the police wanted to hide.

Child Sexual Abuse in India > Major protest (72 arrests) needed to get police action on sex assault of two 4y/o girls; Gov't acts in Maharashtra schools; Man sexually abuses 15 y/o stepdaughter

Bombay high court slams Badlapur police,

says you took action only after public outcry

The Bombay high court has taken suo motu cognisance of the alleged sexual assault of two four-year-old girls at a school in Badlapur town of Maharashtra's Thane district. A division bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Prithviraj Chavan will take up the matter for hearing on Thursday.

The alleged sexual assault of the two kindergarten students by a male attendant had sparked a massive protest in Badlapur on Tuesday. The authorities on Wednesday suspended internet services in the town. Police said they have arrested 72 persons in connection with the violence during the stir.

The male attendant, who was arrested on August 17, allegedly assaulted the kids in the school's toilet. A local court on Wednesday extended his police custody till August 26.

Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde had on Wednesday claimed that the protest at Badlapur was politically motivated and aimed at maligning the state government. He also said that the majority of protesters were outsiders.

Angry parents of the school children and locals staged a massive protest at Badlapur railway station on Tuesday after two girls were allegedly sexually abused by an attendant hired by the school authorities. Hundreds of irate parents and local citizens blocked the path of trains to draw the administration's attention to their demands. The protest has affected the movement of trains on Up and Down routes since around 8am.

On August 17, the police arrested the school attendant at the school for allegedly abusing two girls studying in the kindergarten, aged three and four years. As per the complaint, he abused the girls in the toilet of the school.

Taking note of the incident, CM Eknath Shinde said he has directed the police that the accused be booked under the attempt to rape charge. He also said that the case will be fast-tracked and a special public prosecutor will be appointed for the case.

Meanwhile Shinde's deputy Devendra Fadnavis said that a special investigation team (SIT) headed by inspector general Aarti Singh will probe the incident.

CCTVs mandatory in Maharashtra schools

after Badlapur child sexual abuse

After the horrific incident of alleged sexual abuse of two school children in Badlapur in Thane district near Mumbai, the Maharashtra government on Wednesday directed all schools within the state to install CCTV cameras and complaint boxes on their premises within a month. If any school fails to comply with the order, strict actions will be taken and even its permission to operate may be revoked, as per an order issued by Maharashtra School Education Department.
“All private schools in the state are required to comply with new guidelines from the department, mandating the installation of CCTV cameras at appropriate locations within school premises. Failure to comply may result in actions such as withholding financial grants or revocation of the school’s operating permit,” states the order.

What Maharashtra schools will have to do

As per the order, the CCTV footage should be examined at least three times a week, and if anything unobjectionable is found, it will be the responsibility of the principal and school management to take further action.
Not only this, the school managements will have to conduct thorough background checks of all employees with the assistance of the local police station. Also, schools must submit details and photographs of all their employees to the local police, which will be verified by the police, as per the order.
Cabinet Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha who is also the Guardian Minister for Mumbai suburban district, has written a letter to the District Collector, requesting deployment of female staff at girls’ washrooms in schools. “The entire school premises, except for washrooms, should be brought under the surveillance of CCTV cameras….their safety and proper functioning should be regularly checked by beat marshals or patrolling police teams,” the minister said.
The state government is also planning to impart self-defence training to schools and college students within the Mumbai Suburban region and young women at all Industrial Training Institutes across Maharashtra.
Wow! Somebody woke up the Maharashtra government. Thank God!

Wolves in the Henhouse > Male caregiver - prolific child sex abuser charged with 14 more disturbing crimes; School janitor accused of molesting two 4 y/os in India; Ottawa Camp Counsellor charged with CSA

Is being a caregiver an aggravating factor in sentencing? It ought to be a significant aggravating factor. The betrayal of the children and their family is a trauma that lasts a lifetime.

This unfortunate story lists only two arrests, not three, and fails to indicate the consequences of the first arrest - whether he spent time in jail or not.

Please, people, do not allow men to be caregivers of your children unless they are also his children. Men have no business caring for other people's kids, and all too often have alterior motives. This blog has dozens of such stories. Don't invite wolves into your henhouse.

Toronto man arrested a third time for alleged

sexual assault of children in his care

By John Marchesan, City News

Police have laid additional charges against a Toronto man previously arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting children and they believe there may be more victims.

Toronto police say Kevin Marsh was originally arrested in October 2017 after they claimed he sexually assaulted several children dating as far back as 2005 up to September 2017.

Investigators say in two separate instances Marsh befriended a family, gained their trust and began acting as a caregiver to the children.

“He used his position of trust to sexually assault the children over a period of time,” police said in a release back in 2017.

Marsh was taken into custody and subsequently charged with almost two dozen sexual assault and assault-related offences.

In an update issued Saturday, police say Marsh was re-arrested on August 14, 2024, and charged with 14 additional offences including sexual assault, sexual interference, sexual exploitation and making and distributing child pornography.

Investigators did not provide details as to what led up to the latest charges but did say they are concerned there may be more victims.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

THANE: Two four-year-old nursery students were allegedly sexually abused by a newly hired sweeper at an English medium school in Thane district.

The 24-year-old accused was arrested on Saturday, but the girls' parents complained that police registered the FIR more than 12 hours after lodging of complaint, and that too only after the District Women and Child Welfare Department intervened in the matter.

Ottawa camp counsellor charged with
sexual assault against child under 12

CBC
January 25, 2024·1 min read

An Ottawa woman who worked as a counsellor at a local summer camp has been accused of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 12 last year, and police believe there could be other victims.

The Ottawa Police Service announced the charges against Ghadeer El-Haddad, 24, on Thursday.

She's facing a single charge each of sexual assault, sexual interference and assault.

According to the police, El-Haddad worked as an inclusion counsellor with children with special needs. The charges follow an investigation by the force's sexual assault and child abuse unit.

El-Haddad was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.

Police did not disclose the name of the camp in their release or when asked by CBC but said it is not owned or operated by the City of Ottawa.

Why would they keep that secret if they are looking for other victims? It wouldn't be because the camp was Muslim, would it? No, of course not! Unthinkable!

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5944. Tips may also be sent electronically to SACA@ottawapolice.ca.

Islamic Insanity and Indecency > Shani Louk's father reveals the darkness facing Israel; Muslims brutalize girls converting them to Islam; Muslim kills pregnant sister for converting to Hinduism

Shani Louk’s father says infamous photo of Hamas

parading her body shows ‘darkness’ Israel faces

The father of murdered Israeli concert-goer Shani Louk appeared Monday night at a pro-Israel rally in Times Square, where he said the enduring image of her lifeless body being paraded around by Hamas terrorists illustrates the “darkness” the Jewish state is fighting against.

Nissim Louk told The Post that before-and-after photos of his 23-year-old German Israeli daughter on Oct. 7 — which appeared in countless newspapers the next day — emphasize what’s at stake in the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.

Nissim Louk, who flew into New York last Thursday, remembered Shani as a “beautiful girl” and “free spirit” on Monday.

One photo shows the young tattoo artist joyfully dancing at a music festival in Israel and the other shows her half-naked body in the back of a pickup truck after Hamas militants stormed the event.

“This picture is very important because this picture shows from one side, Shani — beautiful, amazing, bright light to the world, and from the other side you see these militants in the pickup with machine guns that bring trouble and pain to the world and nobody can mix these two pictures,” he said in an exclusive interview.

“And whenever you don’t know who you are, you don’t know: ‘Am I the bad guy? Am I the good guy?’ You don’t know. Look at these pictures — and it immediately straightens everything out.

“You see that Shani is the light and that Shani is part of the Jewish people. We are the light. The other part is darkness. They bring pain to the world and suffering and that’s what happened to her,” he continued. “She died that day.”

Shani Louk was seen dancing and laughing at a music festival, just hours before she was killed by Hamas militants.

Nissim previously defended an Associated Press photographer who snapped pictures of the grim scene of his daughter’s mangled body in the back of the pickup. He called it one of the most important photos of the last 50 years.

The heartbroken dad, who flew into New York last Thursday, remembered Shani as a “beautiful girl” and “free spirit” on Monday.

“Wherever she went, she brought light and happiness,” he added.

The body of Shani Louk is later seen in the back of Hamas terrorists’ pickup truck after the festival.

Shani Louk became one of the most recognizable faces of the Oct. 7 massacre when Hamas terrorists killed 1,200 Israelis and took more than 200 others hostage in Gaza.

The young woman was confirmed dead weeks later after earlier reports indicated she might have survived the initial attack.

Nissim talked about his daughter at several synagogues during his time in the US over the last few days before appearing along with roughly 1,000 people Monday to celebrate the 76th anniversary of Israel’s independence, which he called an “amazing miracle” following the Holocaust.

Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, who spoke at Monday’s event, said attendees remembered the Israeli soldiers who have died since 1948, as well as the victims of Hamas’ attack last year, before they celebrated the creation of the Jewish state.

Nissim Louk said his daughter Shani Louk brought “light and happiness” everywhere she went.

“What are we doing here? We’re showing that Jewish people are alive, well, unafraid, un-scared, frickin’ visible, in your face, in the street, in New York City, baby, in Times Square. It was epic,” the rabbi told The Post.

A Jewish couple who also traveled from Brooklyn to Manhattan said it’s important to show that the Jewish people are “alive and vibrant.”

“We’re here to stay to share in our Jewish pride and to celebrate the day that Israel got its independence,” 30-year-old Moshe Gitler said.

“It’s really an independence for all of us. Israel makes us Jews feel safe.”

The Indian sub-continent is the worst place in the world to be a girl...

Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

Muslims brutalize non-Muslim children

and force them to convert to Islam

The international establishment media is indifferent to such incidents, because it has a paradigm: Muslims are always brown victims and Christians are always white oppressors. If a story doesn’t fit that template, it is unworthy of attention.

In Pakistan, Non-Muslim Children Are Brutalised

and Forcibly Converted to Islam

by Uzay Bulut, European Conservative, May 10, 2024:

A 13-year-old Christian girl, Sania Amin, went missing on April 4 after she left home to buy groceries in Anjotar, a village in Pakistan’s Punjab province. Local eyewitnesses reported that three Muslims took her by force and dragged her through the streets. Pakistani police refused to register a “First Information Report” (FIR) for Sania’s abduction.

Christian Today reported on April 15:

A Christian family in Pakistan has been left devastated after police refused to register a case about the alleged kidnapping and forced marriage of their 13-year-old daughter, Sania Amin. Despite the frantic appeals of her father Amin Masih, authorities have turned a blind eye, claiming the young girl converted to Islam and wed her supposed abductor … The distraught family has made repeated pleas to investigators, even presenting documents that appear to show Sania’s forced conversion and wedding. However, the police have remained unmoved, indifferent to the potential criminality of marrying a child.

This is not an isolated case. Pakistan has an endemic of abductions, rapes, forced conversions, and forced marriages of minority children and women. The Associated Press reported in 2020 that, each year, nearly 1,000 non-Muslim girls are forcibly converted to Islam in Pakistan, largely to pave the way for underage marriages that are non-consensual.

The lack of accountability for perpetrators has led to a surge in these types of crimes. In the first four months of this year, there has been a sharp increase in similar cases impacting young Christian and Hindu girls in Pakistan. Consider the case of Chanda Maharaj, also known as Chanda Kumari, a Hindu girl. Based on a court ruling, she has recently been sent back to the Muslim man who abducted her. This occurred after she spent a year and three months in a shelter home. Chanda was 15 when she was kidnapped by a Muslim on 12 August 2022. The incident occurred in Sindh, Pakistan while she was walking home with her sister. Marco Respinti, a journalist with Bitter Winter, reported on March 15:

Initially, the police refused to take action on the complaint filed by the Hindu girl’s parents. Finally, after the international campaign supporting her, in October 2022 Chanda was rescued by police from her ‘husband’ and taken to a shelter home. However, on October 20 a court ruled that her conversion and ‘marriage’ were valid and sent her back to her kidnapper, Shaman Magsi. The parents appealed, and in December 2022 Chandra was taken again to the shelter home although she had clearly expressed to the court her wish to be with her family.

The Pakistani persecution against Chanda did not end there. In March of 2024, the court determined that Chanda’s biological age made it legal for her to be with her ‘husband,’ although her birth certificate said she was not yet 17. As a result, she was taken back to her abductor. Respinti notes that, “There has been no hearing; she has not been heard [at a court of law], and her parents learned about her situation after she was taken back to the home of her kidnapper [against her will].”

On 11 April 2024, UN experts expressed dismay at the continuing lack of protection for young women and girls belonging to minority communities in Pakistan….

India: Muslim gets life sentence for killing

his pregnant sister for marrying a Hindu

The Qur’an forbids Muslim women to marry “idolaters”: “Do not marry idolatresses until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave woman is better than an idolatress, even though she pleases you. And do not give your daughters in marriage to idolaters until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave is better than an idolater, even though he pleases you. These people invite you to the fire, and Allah invites you to the garden, and to forgiveness by his grace, and explains his signs to mankind so that perhaps they will remember.” (Qur’an 2:221)

Hindu husband’s throat slit, nine-month-pregnant wife stabbed to death:

Shafique sentenced to life imprisonment for killing sister

who converted to Hinduism, her husband

OpIndia, May 7, 2024:

A bloodcurdling incident from 2016 has come to the fore from Maharashtra’s Thane after the sessions court handed down a life sentence to a man named Shafique Mansuri for killing his pregnant sister, who had converted to Hinduism to marry a Hindu man, in an “honour killing” case. The woman’s husband, Vijay Shankar, was murdered by the accused.

Mansuri, employed at a Jari factory in Mumbai, was also fined a total of Rs. 1,10,000 by Additional Sessions Judge DS Deshmukh.

Convicted under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for murder, Mansuri’s victims were identified as Vijayshankar Yadav, 30, and his wife Priya Yadav, 22. Priya, who had converted from Muslim to Hinduism to marry Vijay Shankar, resided in Mumbai’s Shil-Phata locality and was expecting at the time of their deaths.

The couple had eloped from their Uttar Pradesh village to settle in Thane, facing opposition from Priya’s family. Despite the police confirming their marital status and allowing them to continue living together, Priya’s family remained staunchly against the union.

Suspicions arose in the Uttar Pradesh village regarding Mansuri’s involvement in facilitating the couple’s marriage. These accusations reportedly troubled Mansuri deeply. When Priya mentioned plans to visit their village, fearing reprisal from villagers, Mansuri allegedly devised a plan.

Moving in with the couple, Mansuri purportedly intoxicated Vijay Shankar heavily on the day of the murders. He then fatally stabbed both victims before fleeing, securing the door from outside….
