‘Arrogant’ ex-Leeds United player who raped girl, 17, and

took pictures of attack on his phone is jailed for 17 years

AN EX-Leeds United player has been jailed for 17 years after raping a 17-year-old girl and taking pictures on his phone.

Stephen Scholes, 55, of Wetherby, West Yorkshire, was jailed at Leeds Crown Court yesterday after a "depraved" attack on the teenager.

Stephen Scholes was jailed for 17 years after the horror attack

The "arrogant" former footballer was found guilty of four counts of rape of a woman aged 16 or over and four counts of assault by penetration.

All eight sex offences took place in the early hours of January 25, 2020, a court heard.

Scholes told cops he used to play for Leeds United in the 1980s.

Living in Tenerife at the time, Scholes was staying at a property in Leeds when he took the victim out and “plied her with alcohol”.

The teen became “very intoxicated” and “felt sick and disorientated” before sick Scholes took her back home and "told her that the night was not yet over”.

He then climbed into bed with the victim and began taking her clothes off and touching her inappropriately.

Despite struggling and “shouting for him to stop”, Scholes went on to rape the teen in a sick attack.

The now registered sex offender took pictures on his phone as he was raping the victim, a court heard.

After the first attack, Scholes put the victim in another room and later returned before raping her a second time.

The brave victim gave three interviews to cops the next day during which she said that she had been left “ashamed”.

After a forensic investigation, Scholes’s semen was found on the shaken victim, who was in pain for days after the attack.

'ARROGANT'

DS Craig Stevens said that after he arrested Scholes, the defendant noticed that he was wearing a Leeds United lanyard and told him he used to play for the club decades ago.

He said: “He made a big play of it. The sentence is brilliant and reflects how bad the offence was.

"He was so arrogant. He thought he was never going to be found guilty.

"It’s been a long, hard road for the victim. I can’t emphasise enough how brave she’s been since that depraved attack.

"She’s fronted him up in court and did everything I asked of her. He would not have got that sentence if it wasn’t for her.”

The ex-Leeds star denied the offences and claimed that the victim “forced herself onto him”.

But although Scholes tried to cover his tracks by deleting the images taken from his phone these were later recovered.

Following the sentence, the officer in the case, DS Craig Stevens, said that an impact statement read out by the victim had left cops in the gallery “in tears”.

He said: “I have been a police officer for 20 years and it’s probably the most impactful statement I have ever heard.”

Prosecutor Robert Stevenson said: “She was aware of what was going on but felt helpless and unresponsive, unable to move due to being under the influence of something.”

Mr Recorder S. Jackson KC sentenced Scholes to 17 years in custody plus three years on an extended licence and placed him on the sex offenders register.

Kayla Lemieux, Canadian teacher with size-Z prosthetic breasts,

placed on paid leave

The Canadian high school teacher who wears massive Z-cup prosthetic breasts in class has been placed on leave after The Post revealed that she rarely wears them outside of school.

The Halton School District confirmed that Oakville Trafalgar High School shop teacher Kayla Lemieux was put on paid leave Tuesday.

“While not currently on an active assignment, the teacher remains employed with the (Halton District School Board),” spokesperson Heather Francey told the Toronto Sun.

Lemieux’s suspension comes after Education Minister Stephen Lecce and Halton Region MPPs Natalie Pierre, Stephen Crawford and Effie Triantafilopoulos rebuked the school board for having “abdicated its responsibility by failing to put the interests and safety of students first,” according to the Sun.

One mother named Lynn told the school board Wednesday that “forms of identity and expression presented in the school environment [must] be scrutinized against the child’s safeguarding practices.”

What could possibly go wrong here?

The board has remained largely quiet about Lemieux while parents have raged for months about her wearing the prosthetics in front of students.

Photos and videos taken in school have shown her wearing tight clothing with large nipples protruding under the fabric of her top.

The controversy has sparked numerous threats of violence against Lemieux and school officials.

Board of education meetings have descended into chaos as it attempts to address the issue.

The saga gained international attention and came to a head after The Post revealed last month that once outside school, Lemieux often ditches the breasts, wig and makeup and appears as a man, which sent shockwaves through the district.

Post photos showed a dressed-down Lemieux wearing men’s sweatpants, sneakers and a puffer vest — with no sign of her breasts, makeup, glasses or wig, a getup that her neighbor said she wears “extremely infrequently.”

She insisted in a sitdown with The Post that the man in the photos was not her — although she admitted she could not prove it — and denied wearing prosthetic breasts at all.

“These are real,” Lemieux said, adding that she could not say who the person photographed was “because I don’t want to bring anyone else into this.”

“This is who I am. This is how I look. You’ve been talking to people in my building but what they’re telling you is harsh and untrue. I am always going out looking the way I am.”

Lemieux told The Post that although she began undergoing hormone replacement therapy in 2021 and was “in transition,” she is “not a transgendered person” but was born “intersex.”

The teacher said her extra-large beasts are caused by a condition called “gigantomastia,” but also admitted that she’s never been officially diagnosed.

Gigantomastia is “a rare condition that involves developing extremely large breasts due to excessive breast tissue growth,” according to the renowned Cleveland Clinic, which said there are only about 300 cases reported.

Outraged parents demanded that the Halton District School Board impose a dress code for teachers, which was initially rejected last year due to concerns about violating Ontario’s Human Rights Code.

In January, the school board agreed to develop a policy requiring that teachers maintain an “appropriate and professional” appearance.

Lemieux told The Post that she “would follow the direction of the board on what they mandated” but denied that she dressed in a provocative fashion.

“I don’t think there’s any problem with how I have dressed. It’s the personal opinion of other people. I don’t think I have dressed unprofessionally,” she said.

So, there is, in my humble opinion, a very close relationship between transgenderism and mental illness. This story does nothing to make me question that theory.
