Trump inks five new executive actions, including ones banning transgender service members, military DEI programs
WASHINGTON — President Trump signed four executive orders and one proclamation Monday, including edicts prohibiting “gender radicalism in the military” and eliminating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs from the military.
Trump, 78, told reporters aboard Air Force One that he also signed orders reinstating military members forced out by vaccine mandates; mandating a process to develop an “American Iron Dome”; and a proclamation commemorating the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz during his trip back to Washington from Miami.
The president had signed an order on his first day in office revoking the Biden administration’s 2021 directive that allowed trans people to serve openly in the military, but the new EO goes further.
The Monday order, first previewed by The Post, will directly prohibit any service member who identifies as a gender other than their birth sex from serving or enlisting, on grounds of mental unfitness.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was directed to make and implement the policy after Trump signs the order.
The order also directs Hegseth to ban biological men and women from sharing bathrooms, bedrooms and changing areas while in the military, and puts an end to the use of “invented and identification-based pronoun usage.”
“The United States military has a clear mission to protect the American people and our homeland as the world’s most lethal and effective fighting force,” read the order released by the White House late Monday night. “Success in this existential mission requires a singular focus on developing the requisite warrior ethos, and the pursuit of military excellence cannot be diluted to accommodate political agendas or other ideologies harmful to unit cohesion.”
“Consistent with the military mission and longstanding DoD policy, expressing a false ‘gender identity’ divergent from an individual’s sex cannot satisfy the rigorous standards necessary for military service,” it continued. “Beyond the hormonal and surgical medical interventions involved, adoption of a gender identity inconsistent with an individual’s sex conflicts with a soldier’s commitment to an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle, even in one’s personal life.”
“A man’s assertion that he is a woman, and his requirement that others honor this falsehood, is not consistent with the humility and selflessness required of a service member.”
Trump signed military executive orders to:
- Discharge service members who identify as transgender or are receiving transgender treatments for failing to meet physical and mental fitness requirements.
- Ban use of “invented” pronouns in the military.
- Ban service members from using bathrooms, changing rooms or bedrooms of the opposite sex.
- End all existing and future DEI programs in the military.
- Order an internal review of all “discrimination” in military due to DEI.
- Prohibit DEI and gender ideologies from being taught in military academies.
- Restore military members discharged for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
- Mandate a process to develop an “American Iron Dome.”

X no longer a gender option for US passports
The US State Department has suspended processing passport applications that select ‘X’ as a gender identifier, several American news outlets have reported, citing a department spokesperson and internal communications. The policy change reverses a 2022 initiative that allowed applicants to select ‘X’ as a gender marker to accommodate non-binary, intersex, and gender-nonconforming individuals.
President Donald Trump has repealed dozens of executive orders signed by his predecessor, Joe Biden, including at least a dozen measures supporting racial equity and LGBTQ rights. He also officially decreed that only two genders, male and female, will be recognized by the US government, adding that these designations cannot be changed.
“In line with that Order, the Department’s issuance of US passports will reflect the individual’s biological sex as defined in the Executive Order,” a State Department spokesperson told CNN and AFP on Friday, adding that applications for passports with the ‘X’ marker have been suspended and that the State Department will no longer issue such documents.
As for those who have already received passports with the marker, the spokesperson said that guidance is “forthcoming.”
ABC News reported, citing internal communications, that passports with the ‘X’ identifier will still be considered valid under the new policy.
The outlet also claimed that people who had called into the State Department’s National Passport Information Center with questions regarding the policy have been told to wait for new guidance before submitting their applications, with more information said to be released “in the coming days.”
The State Department refused to respond to ABC’s reporting on the matter, stating it “does not comment on leaked internal documents.”
The Trump administration framed its changes to diversity and inclusion policies as an effort to remove bias in government initiatives. Trump’s order mandating that only two genders be recognized is meant to create “equal treatment” and requests “a plan to dismantle the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) bureaucracy,” a Trump aide told the New York Post. More actions on DEI that will impact private businesses are reportedly coming soon.
While some corporations have scaled back DEI programs, companies such as Costco and Apple remain committed to them. Others, meanwhile, including Meta, McDonald’s, and Walmart, have significantly reduced their DEI initiatives. Meta recently dismantled its DEI department, citing a shifting legal and policy landscape. McDonald’s has scaled back diversity targets for senior leadership, and Walmart has announced plans to retire certain diversity terms and initiatives.
Civil rights organizations have threatened to challenge the orders through court action and public advocacy.

Dutch sperm donor with 550 kids pushing incest, trad life on YouTube, parents say
Traditional gender roles are a harmful idea? Good grief!
“He vlogs a lot on YouTube. In his videos, he regularly addresses the children with all kinds of advice about how they should approach life. He also says nasty things about parents who have been critical of him in public. Then he tells the children directly and indirectly what they should think about it,” Ties van der Meer, director of Stichting Donorkind, a foundation that stands up for the rights of children conceived through sperm donation, told RTL Nieuws.
Natalie Dijkdrenth and Suzanne Daniëls have a son conceived through Meijer and they are very concerned about the things he promotes on YouTube, which they believe include incest. “For example, he advises children to choose a partner who looks like them and who thinks the same as them. He openly disapproves of certain parenting styles and promotes large families,” Dijkdrenth told the Volkskrant.
Why do they believe he promotes incest? Some examples would be appropriate here. It seems he promotes traditional families which this article seems to think is dangerous.
Titles of his YouTube videos include Blessed are the trad wives and Trad man power. “Trad” is short for traditional and the phenomenon promotes a traditional division of roles between men and women, where women take care of children, the household, and the vegetable garden, while men are the breadwinner. He implies parents nowadays are weak because they complain about the load of caring for two children, while past families had up to 15 children.
“Some children are very impressionable because of their age,” Dijkdrenth said. “As parents, we can do our best, but as a donor, he still has a certain appeal to them.”
The summary proceedings filed by Dijkdrenth and Stichting Donorkind will appear in court at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Netflix documentary The Man with 1000 Kids was made about Meijer. The documentary makers claim he conceived 3,000 children with his sperm. He says there are 550. In 2023, another mother took Meijer to court to force him to stop donating sperm. The judge ruled in her favor and banned the man from donating to new parents. He is now only allowed to donate to parents who already have a child conceived from his sperm and want another one.
According to RTL Nieuws, the man said in September that he does not adhere to the court ruling and still donates to families “who ask for it.”

France to overhaul sex education in schools, with focus on consent and gender identity
French schools will introduce mandatory sex education classes covering topics such as consent, gender identity and online pornography from September, despite opposition from conservative groups. FRANCE 24's Sharon Gaffney speaks to Kristen Barber, Associate Professor and Chair of Race, Ethnic and Gender Studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She says that focusing on consent from a very young age is key to combating rampant sexual abuse and advancing human rights.
Does she have any data to back that statement up? There can be no consent at a very young age! Teaching elementary kids about consent and gender fluidity is a form of sexual abuse and, if anything, enables more sexual abuse and mental illnesses.
Do they plan on teaching about paedophilia, about the dangers of social media, about good touch and bad touch, about who to tell and how to tell?
