Irish reject far-left governments attempts to destroy the meaning of 'family'

Irish voters hand resounding defeat to

proposed family and care amendments

March 9 (UPI) -- Voters on Saturday rejected two amendments to Ireland's constitution that aimed to give more inclusive language around family and caregivers.

Some 67% of voters said "no" to the Family referendum, which proposed changes to the 39th Amendment, expanding the definition of family in the constitution to recognize "durable relationships" such as unmarried couples with children.

Did this definition also include gay or lesbian couples with children as families?

The Care referendum, a proposed change to the 40th amendment that would have replaced language around "women in the home" with language recognizing family caregivers who are not mothers, lost by an even wider margin, with almost 74% voting no.

In other words, the Irish decided that Mothers are women and men are not mothers.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar admitted defeat in both referendums hours before the full results were announced.

"The family amendment and the care amendment referendums have been defeated -- defeated comprehensively on a respectable turnout," he said.

Turnout was 44.36%, a 19% drop from turnout in Ireland's 2018 abortion referendum.

Before ballots were cast, Varadkar had said "no" votes would be a "step backwards," sending the wrong message to unmarried couples and maintaining "very old-fashioned language" about women.

Few people, however, regarded the results as conservative backlash. Some feminist and progressive groups have criticized the referendums "vague" and "insipid."

Critics accused the government of running a "lackluster" campaign that confused voters and alienated progressive allies.

Some groups worried widening the definition of families could affect rules on taxes and citizenship. Similarly, there were worries that expanding the burden of care from women to the whole family ignored the state's responsibility.

Regarding the Family referendum, Aontú party leader Peadar Toibín said voters did not say "no" to cohabiting parents but rather "no" to government incompetency in developing the amendments. He said nobody understood what the phrase "durable relationship" was supposed mean, not even government ministers.

The government and the media will not admit that the amendments were onorous to the Irish, but rather blame their rejection of government incompetancy. That may be part of the answer, but the other part is a mis-reading of the Irish attachment to family values.

"The leadership of those parties are marooned from their support base... That's a very dangerous place to be in advance of an election," Toibín said.

Labour Party Leader Ivana Bacik, who had campaigned for "yes" votes, laid responsibility for defeat solely on the government.

"There was a very lackluster government campaign, and I think that's unfortunate," she said, noting the government ignored alternative wording proposed by the legislature's gender equality committee.

The defeat in both referendums prompted calls for prominent campaign leaders, such as Children's Minister Roderic O'Gorman to resign.

Eamon Ryan, Green party leader and transport minister, said there will not be another attempt at a referendum before the next election.

Trudeau doesn't realize that the 'rising tide of hate' toward LGBTQ madness, is aimed at him

..

Justin Trudeau may be the only western leader who has never done anything to try and slow down child sexual abuse of any kind in his 8 useless years in office. Why?

LGBTQ Canadians facing a rising tide of hatred, Trudeau says

Trudeau warns of increase in anti-LGBTQ activity at Pride flag-raising ceremony

In a speech at a Pride flag-raising ceremony on Parliament Hill Thursday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that hatred of LGBTQ people is on the rise in Canada.

The rainbow-coloured flag is now flying in front of the Parliament Buildings to mark Pride Month. The Liberal government started the annual tradition in 2016. In his speech, Trudeau warned that the climate for LGBTQ people has worsened since then.

One would think he would make the connection, but he doesn't. 30-40 years ago, Liberals invariably campaigned in elections on the absurd idea that Christian politicians were ramming Christianity down the throats of Canadians. The idea was always popular with left-wing, godless voters.

But since 2015, when the far-left Trudeau took over as Prime Minister, the government has been ramming LGBTQ rights down the throats of all Canadians. They go so far as to convincing people that this is a good thing. Canadians are beginning to wake up to the woke madness and the damage it is doing to a generation of Canadian children. That's where the resistance is coming from. People are tired of the far-left lunacy.

"When we first raised the Pride flag on Parliament Hill seven years ago, I think we all thought it would get easier from that moment," Trudeau said.

"Transphobia, biphobia, homophobia, they're all on the rise. It's been difficult to watch people and institutions still continue to reject who you are, to try to deny members of our communities the rights to be seen and heard and celebrated."

The federal government announced $1.7 million in funding for six LGBTQ rights groups in conjunction with the ceremony. Women, Gender Equality and Youth Minister Marci Ien announced emergency funding earlier this week to help cover rising security and insurance costs for Pride festivals.

The number of police-reported hate crimes related to sexual orientation rose 64 per cent in 2021 over the previous year, says Statistics Canada.

Trudeau said anti-LGBTQ hatred is spreading from the United States into Canada. He cited several recent controversies, including attempts to disrupt Pride celebrations and remove books on sexual orientation and identity from school libraries, and some schools refusing to raise the Pride flag.

Imagine, a school focussing on teaching academics instead of godless, abusive, sexual perversion.

"In too many places, it's kids who have to fight to have the Pride flag raised, and in some places it's been denied," Trudeau said.

"And to those kids I'm here to say, even though the Pride flag may not fly at your school, know that it proudly flies here in your seat of government."

What happened to that old saying, "God hates pride"? Oh, I get it, first, they get rid of God from schools, and then they can teach whatever crap they want.

"We are reminded all too often … whether it's online or celebrating Pride or [in] our daily lives, that hatred still has a very loud voice," he said.

Especially when that hatred is aimed at God.

"But I think we also need to be reminded that those loud voices do not represent the vast, vast majority of Canadians."

We'll see.

Perverted Lives of the Rich and Famous > Weirdo Brinton appears in stolen designer dresses; NY1 Weatherman live-streamed porn of himself

..

Dresses worn by Sam Brinton were destined for fashion show,

designer claims

By Andy Tillett and Katherine Donlevy, NYPost
February 23, 2023 8:30pm  Updated

A Houston designer claims she had to cancel a fashion show after her bag full of the custom-made pieces was lost at a Washington DC airport – only for them to seemingly resurface years later being worn by former Department of Energy official Sam Brinton.

Asya Khamsin filed a lost luggage report after her bag containing 30 original designs disappeared from Ronald Reagan Washington Airport in DC on March 9, 2018, meaning she had to pull out of the planned show.

Several years later, the native Tanzanian designer stumbled on photographs of Brinton – who identifies as nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns – wearing what appeared to be the same original custom dresses.

Speaking from Zanzibar, Khamsin told The Post: “I was thinking, ‘Who took my bag, where is it?’ for a long time. Then I see images of the outfits [being worn by Brinton] and I was so confused and upset.

“I was thinking, where did he get those clothes – because I didn’t think he was a thief.”

Khamsin also posted a series of pictures online showing the disgraced former Department of Energy official wearing elaborate dresses side-by-side with her missing dress designs, which look identical.

Head of Advocacy The Trevor Project Sam Brinton speaks onstage during The Trevor Project TrevorLIVE NYC at Cipriani Wall Street on June 11, 2018 in New York City.

Khamsin does not accuse Brinton of stealing the clothes or her luggage from the Washington DC airport, but said she is confused how they ended up in their possession.

Why not? It would be true to his character. But this case suggests that Brinton may be very diligent in choosing which luggage to steal.

The designer explained the dresses and jewelry had originally been displayed at the Lady In Red fashion show she runs in Dar es Salaam and said she was passing through Washington DC to show them on her way home to Houston when her case disappeared. She shared her conversations with officials about the lost luggage with Fox news.

Brinton, 35, served as the Biden administration’s deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition at the DOE’s Office of Nuclear Energy, but was fired after they were charged with stealing a woman’s suitcase from a Minneapolis airport and another woman’s bag from a Las Vegas airport over the summer.

In both cases, Brinton had traveled on flights from Washington DC before allegedly swiping the bags from the airports’ baggage carousels.

After seeing Brinton wearing what she believes is her stolen garb, Khamsin filed a report with the Houston Police Department on Dec. 16. The next month, she claims she was contacted by the agency’s field office in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She added: “I don’t know if I would like the clothes back. The investigation is in good hands with the FBI. I’m waiting on them, they will do the right thing.”

Your faith in the FBI, Aysa, exceeds my own by some considerable margin. Good luck.

Police probing possible revenge porn case of former

NY1 weatherman Erick Adame

By Natalie O'Neill, NYPost
March 1, 2023 4:21pm  Updated

Cops are investigating who leaked live-streamed porn images of former NY1 weatherman Erick Adame, according to a report Wednesday.

The Emmy-nominated but now out-of-work meteorologist told WNYC he believes a mystery voyeur became obsessed with distributing nude images of him in an apparent effort to embarrass him.

“I concluded, it’s the same person that is just obsessed with posting these pictures of me,” he said in his first interview since the scandal led to his firing.

“Some of them are so humiliating.”

Adame, 39, has since hired a lawyer to get the IP address of the person who posted the images online.

Police are also probing the leak, the station said, though it was not revealed which department is conducting the investigation.

Adame lives in New Jersey, NY1 is based in Manhattan and his mother, who was sent some of the dirty images, lives upstate.

Erick Adame, the former NY1 weatherman, circulated around the internet resulting into him losing his job.
Instagram/Erick Adame

It was also unclear what law enforcement could do, as the images may not qualify as “revenge porn,” the radio station reported.

Under New York law, a person must have a “reasonable expectation of privacy,” and live-streaming may not be protected.

The ex-weatherman was fired in September after images of him live-streaming sex acts were taken from an adult website without his permission.

It soon emerged that he mentioned his job and other personal details during a camming session made in December 2021.

Adame apologized and admitted that he had a “compulsion,” saying it was “absurd of me to think I could keep this private.”

Proud, or embarrassed for being gay?

Since his embarrassing public firing, Adame told WNYC he has been harassed by sadistic trolls online.

“There is a mixture of support and then you’d have this random message calling me whatever name to degrade me and then saying you want some more? I can be your daddy,” he said.

“You know —no. I just lost this job that I really loved. I’m being publicly humiliated and you think I enjoy this?”

He also opened up about the root of his compulsion to make live sex videos for strangers on the internet, confessing it stemmed from  “low self-esteem” from being rejected for being gay.

Is that really his reason, or his excuse? It's hard to imagine someone being on TV every day has low self-esteem. The sex videos suggest he was more likely proud of his gayness.

“Showing off and getting that type of praise and being called sexy, I wanted to see more. Hearing that from someone on the other end made you feel so good,” he said.

Now, he says, he’s in a committed relationship and that his sex life no longer involves the internet.

Ultimately he said he regrets camming while hedging on whether he thinks his firing was fair.

“I don’t apologize for being sex positive — but I apologize because I am a role model, ” he said. “What it comes to is, as a news person, I live under different rules. I don’t think that’s fair, but I think that we do.”

It's the first time I have encountered that term - sex-positive! I don't know what it means, but I suspect it is not something good.

George Soros' America > LA's Soros-funded DA makes mockery of justice - puts kids in danger

..

Found this unpublished story from last February. I was deathly ill during the spring (sepsis and multiple surgeries) so did not post any articles for two months. This disturbing story gives us a view of what George Soros' funded DA's (and there are many in the USA) are destroying law and order in America and putting a generation of children at further risk from pedophiles.

2nd story reveals how he is using American taxpayers' money to promote LGBTQ madness in Colombia.

Transgender woman brags about light sentence for molesting child

A transgender woman in Los Angeles gloated in a recorded jailhouse telephone call that she would be let off easy for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl – a prediction that proved true when she was sentenced last month.

The recordings, which were obtained by Fox News, caught 26-year-old Hannah Tubbs boasting in November phone calls with her father that she wouldn’t have to go back to prison under the policies of Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon. Tubbs also made explicit remarks about the young victim, talking about her sexual attraction to the girl.

“I’m gonna plead out to it, plead guilty,” Tubbs said in one call. “They’re gonna stick me on probation, and it’s gonna be dropped, it’s gonna be done. I won’t have to register [as a sex offender], won’t have to do nothing.”

The case in question concerned a 2014 assault by Tubbs – who was then named James and identified as a male – in the women’s restroom of a Denny’s restaurant. Tubbs, who was two weeks shy of turning 18 at the time of the incident, only began identifying as a woman after being arrested for the assault eight years later.

The prediction of a light sentence came true in June, when Tubbs was spared incarceration in adult prison. Gascon’s office refused to prosecute Tubbs as an adult, in accordance with the DA’s progressive policies. She was sentenced to two years in juvenile detention, which reportedly could mean being released in six months. Tubbs also correctly predicted that she wouldn’t have to register as a sex offender, despite having committed other offenses since the assault at Denny’s.

In one of her jailhouse calls, Tubbs admonished the caller to refer to her with female pronouns in court. She said she would seek assignment to a female prison if she were incarcerated.

The victim told Fox News it was “insulting” and “unfair” to prosecute Tubbs as a female and a juvenile, “seeing how he clearly didn’t act like one” during the sexual assault. “The things he did to me and made me do that day was beyond horrible for a 10-year-old girl to have to go through,” she said, adding that the light sentence gave her “no true justice.”

Gascon, who was elected in 2020 with the help of $2.5 million in campaign funding from billionaire activist George Soros, said on Sunday that he would have handled the Tubbs case differently had he known of the defendant’s disregard for the harm she caused. However, media reports indicated that Gascon’s office was well aware of the jailhouse recordings.

“We do not always get it right, as no one can, but we do believe that our fundamental beliefs are the right ones,” Gascon said.

With the DA facing a potential recall vote over his allegedly soft-on-crime policies, his office last week told staffers that there could be rare exceptions to his rules, including his ban on trying juveniles in adult court. Contrary to Sunday’s statement by Gascon, his office said the easing of policies was unrelated to the controversial Tubbs case.

Sounds to me like Gascon has little regard for the truth along with all his other faults.

Soros bankrolled Colombian LGBT group backing prostitution

that received Biden administration grant

by Gabe Kaminsky, Investigative Reporter |

Washington Examiner

A Biden administration-backed LGBT nonprofit group in Colombia that calls for the expansion of "sex worker" rights in the crime-ridden country has raked in thousands of dollars from left-wing billionaire George Soros, records show.

In September, the State Department awarded $16,000 in taxpayer dollars to Fundacion Sentiido, which engages in prostitution advocacy, the Washington Examiner reported. That same organization, which is based in Bogota, Colombia, has also received almost $122,000 from Soros's Open Society Foundations, a top liberal grant-maker, records show.

Sentiido trains Colombians on "gender, sexual diversity, and social change"
and publishes articles on LGBT issues, its website shows. The State Department grant to Sentiido, which began disbursing in October, was to "provide tools, resources, and opportunities to support journalists and activists in Colombia and in Latin America" so they can gain a better understanding of the "use of disinformation and gender restrictive narratives against LGBTIQ and women's rights," according to the agency.

Does that mean rewarding LGBTQ-friendly journalists financially?

An unnamed State Department spokesperson previously told the Washington Examiner that the Sentiido grant was "in support of American values," noting, "U.S. citizens benefit from a world that is safer and more prosperous for all."

Sentiido received OSF grants in 2017, 2019, and 2020, according to the OSF's database. The grants came from the group's affiliated Open Society Policy Center, as well as the Foundation to Promote Open Society, according to the database.

The 2017 grant was for "building bridges between sexual diversity and religion," and the grant in 2019 was "to support creation of audiovisual content, interviews, and workshops meant to promote an understanding of and campaigning against the so-called 'gender ideology' in Latin America," records show.

In 2020, Sentiido received money from the OSF "to support the grantee's work to engage in media analysis and narrative change related to gender, sexuality, and COVID response," records show.

"By combining rigorous research with our passion for creativity and innovation and our strong belief in knowledge sharing through capacity development, Sentiido builds bridges, tells stories, opens discussions, changes conversations, and provides knowledge for the advancement of LGBTIQ and women's rights in the region," a spokesperson for Sentiido told the Washington Examiner.

"At Sentiido, we feel proud to be supported by Open Society Foundations to promote social change and more inclusive and respectful societies," the spokesperson added.

Respectful, godless societies!!!

One congressman, however, told the Washington Examiner it is "incomprehensible" the State Department would use tax dollars to fund Sentiido.

"In a Republican House majority, we will rein in wasteful government spending, especially to countries who do not share our American values," Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) told the Washington Examiner.

Sentiido has engaged in prostitution advocacy since at least 2014, the Washington Examiner reported. On Nov. 3, the group hosted a webinar titled "Stand in my corner: trans-feminism and sex worker rights activism," which was hosted by three prostitutes.

Like other South American countries, Colombia has not outlawed prostitution. Its government has also failed to "proactively investigate, prosecute, or convict cases of forced labor," and armed organizations often make women and young girls do "webcam modeling" and drug them so they can have sexual relations, the State Department said in a 2021 report.

Out of 142 countries, Colombia ranks 27th on the global crime index, a database tracking crime levels by assigning countries scores in the range of zero to 100. Colombian children are at solid risk of being forced into prostitution, the U.S. government has found in the past.

Sentiido, though, has slammed the Colombian police's efforts to regulate prostitution and boosted "webcam sex work," claiming the practice guards prostitutes from "economic exploitation." The organization has also promoted a variety of COVID-19 "emergency funds" for people to donate to prostitutes and pro-prostitution groups.

"Fanatical, woke organizations like Fundacion Sentiido shouldn't be propped up with American taxpayer dollars, and they certainly shouldn't be using those dollars to promote prostitution, radical gender indoctrination for children, and all manner of depravity abroad," Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), who sits on the influential House Judiciary Committee, previously told the Washington Examiner.

Recent stories of Soros' death are, unfortunately, not true.

Lutheran bishops worldwide condemn criminal prosecution

of Finnish MP Päivi Räsänen

Lutheran bishops from around the world have issued a statement condemning the criminal prosecution of Päivi Räsänen, a Christian politician who is facing six years in prison for sharing her biblical beliefs on sexuality and marriage, and Finnish Bishop-elect Juhana Pohjola, who distributed a pamphlet written by Räsänen.

“The actions of the Finnish State in prosecuting Christians for holding to the clear teaching of the very words of Jesus regarding marriage and sex (Matthew 19:4-6) are egregious,” says the statement issued by the International Lutheran Council and joined by the bishops and presidents of dozens of Lutheran church bodies worldwide.

Räsänen, a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, could face up to six years in prison after being charged with three counts of ethnic agitation related to statements she made expressing her beliefs about human sexuality and marriage.

Ethnic agitation??? Seriously?

A longstanding member of the Finnish Parliament, Räsänen publicly voiced her opinion on marriage in a 2004 booklet on sexual ethics, describing marriage as between one man and one woman. She also expressed her views on a 2019 radio show and tweeted church leadership on the matter.

Pohjola, the bishop-elect of the Evangelical Lutheran Mission Diocese of Finland, has also been charged with one count of ethnic agitation for publishing Räsänen’s booklet.

“… The accused clearly affirm the divinely given dignity, value, and human rights of all, including all who identify with the LGBTQ community,” says the letter, titled “A Protest and Call for Free Religious Speech in Finland.”

“We Lutherans make this strong confession along with Drs. Pohjola and Räsänen,” it continues. “The vast majority of Christians in all nations, including Catholics and Eastern Orthodox, share these convictions. Would the Finnish Prosecutor General condemn us all? Moreover, shall the Finnish State risk governmental sanctions from other states based on the abuse of foundational human rights?”

Apparently, Finland's foundational human rights differ from the EU's version of foundational human rights, which were recently invented.

Prosecutors determined that Räsänen’s previous statements disparage and discriminate against LGBT individuals and foment intolerance and defamation. The mother of five maintains that her expressions are “legal and should not be censored.”

“I cannot accept that voicing my religious beliefs could mean imprisonment,” said Räsänen in a statement previously issued by ADF International, which is representing her. “I do not consider myself guilty of threatening, slandering or insulting anyone. My statements were all based on the Bible’s teachings on marriage and sexuality.”

She added, “I will not back down from my views. I will not be intimidated into hiding my faith. The more Christians keep silent on controversial themes, the narrower the space for freedom of speech gets.”

In May, law professors and scholars called on the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom to pressure the State Department to sanction Finland’s prosecutor general for prosecuting Räsänen and Pohjola.

In an open letter published by Real Clear Politics, professors from Ivy League institutions like Harvard University, Yale University and Princeton University argued that the prosecution of the politician for her remarks could “compel Finland’s clergy and lay religious believers to choose between prison and abandoning teachings of their various faiths.”

Räsänen is no stranger to controversy as she has become known as a prominent Finnish defender of traditional Christian views on marriage, euthanasia and abortion.

As Evangelical Focus noted earlier, Räsänen’s views are often more conservative than those in the ECLF leadership.

That's not hard to believe. I really don't think very highly of European churches, even evangelical churches.

Ukrainian far-right clash with pro-LGBT protesters at topless ‘rave’

held in support of new anti-discrimination law

30 Jul, 2021 16:46

Police in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, were forced to intervene with tear gas and truncheons after right-wing political activists attacked the participants at an LGBT+ pride march outside the walls of the president's office.

At least one officer was injured during the scuffle, which took place on Friday and saw ultranationalists doused with incapacitating spray. No information on arrests has been made public.

The rally, which took the form of a rave and saw participants strip off to dance to electronic music, had been called in support of Ukraine's LGBT+ community as the country's parliament considers a new law on discrimination and violent attacks against protected groups.

In May, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal brought forward a bill to the Verkhovna Rada that would outlaw discrimination based on skin color, language, sexual orientation or gender identity. The move was adopted as one of the conditions of the Association Agreement that would pave the way to membership in the European Union.

In August last year, neo-Nazi groups attacked an LGBT+ march held as part of 'Pride Month' in the coastal city of Odessa.

The organizers said that local police did not react quickly enough, but asked them to “prosecute the perpetrators” and take action against the right-wingers for “hatred and inciting violence.” Sixteen people were arrested and charged with petty hooliganism and disobeying police orders.

Ousted Episcopal school teacher slams woke curriculum:

'There is no math without objectivity'

This is allegedly a Christian School

Grace Church School in Manhattan, New York. | Google Maps

A teacher who was ousted after publicly airing his concerns about "antiracism" training at an elite New York City private school warns that an ideology taking aim at the concept of “objectivity” is harming American students.

Paul Rossi, a former math teacher at the Grace Church School in Manhattan, appeared on Fox News Thursday to explain that the curriculum embraced by the $57,000-per-year school associated with the Association of Episcopal Schools is not an isolated incident.

Rossi shared his concerns in an April 13 op-ed titled “I Refuse to Stand By While My Students Are Indoctrinated.”

“I got into trouble because at a racially segregated Zoom meeting, I questioned the facilitator’s assertion that values like objectivity and … individualism were characteristics of white supremacy. I wanted to model for my students, who I knew had doubts that they couldn’t voice, that it’s okay to question these beliefs and ideas that were being misrepresented as knowledge.”

The former teacher noted that after he raised objections, “students did start to ask questions.”

Rossi said he was publicly reprimanded and had his classes reassigned. After he published the op-ed in April,  he was "barred from the building.”

“What’s the effect on our society when the most powerful people send their kids to schools that teach those kids there’s no such thing as objectivity and individualism is racist and you can judge someone by the color of his skin?” host Tucker Carlson asked Rossi.

Rossi said, “students are being sort of seduced away from their personal identity, their preferences, their character, their interests, goals and dreams into this group identity based around race and gender.”

“My school, like so many others, induces students via shame and sophistry to identify primarily with their race before their individual identities are fully formed," Rossi told Carlson.  "Students are pressured to conform their opinions to those broadly associated with their race and gender and to minimize or dismiss individual experiences that don’t match those assumptions.”

“The morally compromised status of ‘oppressor’ is assigned to one group of students based on their immutable characteristics," he added. "In the meantime, dependency, resentment and moral superiority are cultivated in students considered oppressed."

Rossi warned that once that "collectivist mindset” is exposed to children by third or fourth grade, they will “run on top of that kind of operating system" based on "all of the various claims that are made about our history, the one-sided claims.”

While he acknowledged that there is “much truth” to the claims, he alleged, “they present a one-sided view of that and also about how that carries through to the present day.”

“I’m a math teacher. There is no math without objectivity,” he declared. “We have … black and brown students struggling in math across the country. How does it help them succeed to tie objectivity to what is an ultimate evil?”

Rossi announced that he is working on a book illustrating for parents “how these ideas manifest for their children in the classroom and … what is happening on the ground for students.” The book will include interviews with teachers, students and psychological experts, he added.

In his April op-ed, Rossi said that the “Antiracist” training at his school "requires teachers like myself to treat students differently on the basis of race."

"Furthermore, in order to maintain a united front for our students, teachers at Grace are directed to confine our doubts about this pedagogical framework to conversations with an in-house 'Office of Community Engagement' for whom every significant objection leads to a foregone conclusion," he said. "Any doubting students are likewise 'challenged' to reframe their views to conform to this orthodoxy."

In his op-ed, Rossi admitted that he knew that publishing the piece could lead to loss of employment as an educator because too many schools are "captive to this backward ideology."

"But witnessing the harmful impact it has on children, I can’t stay silent," he argued.

"They report that, in their classes and other discussions, they must never challenge any of the premises of our 'antiracist' teachings, which are deeply informed by Critical Race Theory. These concerns are confirmed for me when I attend grade-level and all-school meetings about race or gender issues. There, I witness student after student sticking to a narrow script of acceptable responses. Teachers praise insights when they articulate the existing framework or expand it to apply to novel domains. Meantime, it is common for teachers to exhort students who remain silent that 'we really need to hear from you.'”

Encyclopedia Brittanica defines critical race theory as an “intellectual movement and loosely organized framework of legal analysis based on the premise that race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed (culturally invented) category that is used to express and exploit people of colour.”

Those who subscribe to critical race theory believe that “the law and legal institutions in the United States are inherently racist insofar as they function to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites, especially African Americans.” Several states have worked to ban the teaching of critical race theory in public schools in recent weeks.

Grace Church School has come under fire for its “Inclusive Language Guide,” which advised students and staff members to refrain from using the terms “Mom and Dad,” “traditional family,” “Happy Holidays” and “boys and girls.” The guide suggested the use of phrases such as “grown-ups, folks or family,” “Have a great break” and “people, folks, friends, readers, (and) mathematicians” as more inclusive alternatives.

The guide characterized the term “traditional family” as “outdated” because “each family is unique.” It also asserted that “human sexuality exists across a spectrum,” “sexual orientation is a choice rather than an identity,” and that when “we see the skin tones of people,” “assumptions are made about how someone identifies racially.” Therefore, people cannot be “colorblind as it pertains to race.”

‘Flag worth defending’: Swedish Army places front-page newspaper ad

ahead of Stockholm Pride, triggering debate online

The Swedish Armed Forces have paid for a pro-LGBTQ ad in one of the country’s leading newspapers, featuring soldiers standing beneath a rainbow flag. The campaign has provoked some fiery discussions online.

The front-page ad in the Svenska Dagbladet daily features a group of soldiers in full combat gear, one holding a large rainbow flag.

The text at the top of the image reads, “A flag worth defending,” and, in smaller print below, it says, “We defend human rights, equality for all, and our right to live as we choose.”

The ad was published ahead of the week-long Stockholm Pride festival, which kicks off this Monday.

Its liberal portrayal of the country’s armed forces has led to heated debate online. Some argued that the military should not be involved in activism, especially when it is paid for with taxpayers’ money.

“Shouldn’t the army defend Sweden’s borders, important sites and all of Swedish life? Rights are the responsibility of politicians, aren’t they?” one person asked on Twitter.

“Can we please have a single institution that is not politicized and riddled with activism? I don’t think it’s a particularly high requirement,” another wrote.

Others did not consider the ad controversial. “Many here seem to think that treating homosexuals as equals and defending the country are the opposite things. Why is that?” one user said.

Another commenter dismissed the critics as homophobes. “Do you realize that younger generations see you as dinosaurs?” he wrote. “Nobody listens to you anymore.”

Except for God!

The Swedish Army regularly places pro-LGBTQ ads during Pride events. In 2017, it posted an image of rainbow-colored shoelaces on army boots.

In 2018, it ran a recruitment campaign under the slogan “We don’t always march straight,” and, a year later, under the tag line “Come as you are.” The 2018 ad featured posters of soldiers applying rainbow-hued camouflage to their faces.

Orban blasts Dutch ‘colonial’ mentality after Rutte tells

Hungarian PM to respect LGBTQ+ or leave the EU

The Hungarian prime minister has issued a stern rebuke of his Dutch counterpart, telling Amsterdam to keep out of Hungarian politics after criticizing Budapest’s move to prevent the portrayal of homosexuality to minors.

Speaking to public radio on Friday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban hit back at Dutch PM Mark Rutte and his “colonial” mentality, after he told Budapest to respect LGBTQ+ rights or leave the European Union.

“This is a colonial approach,” Orban stated, adding, “they just give no thought to what they can and cannot say about another nation and the laws of another country.”

Last week, Rutte, during an EU summit, challenged Orban to leave the European bloc, noting that Budapest’s policies and perspectives were clearly not in line with Brussels. Hungary “has no business being in the European Union any more,” Rutte stated, adding it was their intention to bring Budapest to its knees on LGBTQ+ rights.

The Dutch PM’s comments follow the passing of a new law in Hungary on June 15. While the law appears to focus on increasing punishment for convicted pedophiles, it also stipulates that homosexuality cannot be portrayed or promoted to under-18s.

Orban claims that the law is misunderstood, stating: “This is not against homosexuality. It’s about the right of the kids and the parents.”

Other leaders have joined the condemnation of Orban, but have stopped short of demanding Hungary leave the EU. French President Emmanuel Macron said the EU could use the judicial powers available to it to punish Hungary but said he didn’t want to use Article 50 (initiating an exclusion from the EU).

Orban’s Hungary has long been at loggerheads with the EU. Earlier in 2021, with tensions rising, Budapest elected to take the European Commission to court over a stipulation linking access to European funds with upholding the rule of law.

I invite you to read a brilliant article by a Norwegian professor re: LGBTQ and Foreign Policy. It is the last story on the link.

Housing trans women convicted of sexual offences in female prisons

is lawful, England’s High Court rules

The government’s policy of housing transgender women, including those with convictions for violent or sexual offences, in female prisons in England and Wales is lawful, the High Court in London ruled on Friday.

The judge rejected claims that jailing transgender sexual or violent offenders with cisgender women was discriminatory.

A female inmate, known as FDJ, launched legal action against the Ministry of Justice after claiming she had been sexually assaulted by a trans woman at HMP Bronzefield near London in 2017.

The alleged attacker, who had a gender recognition certificate (GRC), had previous convictions including manslaughter and attempted rape.

The ministry defended its policy, saying that it was necessary for “facilitating the rights of transgender people to live in and as their acquired gender (and) protecting transgender people’s mental and physical health.”

But, apparently, it is not necessary to facilitate the rights of normal women!

In his judgement on Friday, Lord Justice Holroyde said he accepted that female prisoners may suffer “fear and anxiety” if forced to share a cell with a transgender woman with male genitalia, especially one with violent convictions.

However, he said that in the existing policies, the “need to assess and manage all risks is repeatedly emphasised.”

So why don't you assess the risks to normal women housed with rapists?

He added that the exclusion of all trans women from women’s prisons would be to “ignore, impermissibly, the rights of transgender women to live in their chosen gender.”

Good grief! How about trans women living in women's prisons if all their male appendages are removed?

The court heard that in 2019 there were 34 transgender inmates in women’s prisons who had been convicted of one or more sexual offences.

Other data read out included that between 2016 and 2019 some 97 sexual assaults were recorded in women’s prisons, seven of which were committed by transgender prisoners without a GRC.

It is not known if there were any committed by trans women with a GRC, the judgment noted.

Arrrrgh! It's known for sure that there was at least one!!!

Women’s prisons in England and Wales can house people born male who identify as female, even if they haven’t undergone gender reassignment or do not possess a GRC.

The claimant, FDJ, said she was “disappointed” with the ruling, adding that trans women with violent convictions should not be in a situation where they can endanger women.

In my humble opinion, Lord Justice Holroyde is a complete idiot!

For all the trouble Trump went through to get right-leaning judges on the Supreme Court bench, it doesn't seem to have done any good whatsoever.

US Supreme Court refuses to hear LGBTQ rights case involving businesses

that refuse to cater for same-sex weddings

The US Supreme Court has passed on hearing a case that would have settled whether businesses are entitled to refuse services for same-sex marriages on religious or free speech grounds.

Declining to consider the appeal brought by a Washington state florist, the Supreme Court on Friday deferred to earlier state court rulings on the case.

In 2013, Barronelle Stutzman refused to provide flowers for the same-sex wedding of two male customers because it violated her “relationship with Jesus Christ.” The couple took her to court over the matter, and state judges ruled that she had broken a law prohibiting businesses from discriminating against people due to their sexual orientation.

The Washington Supreme Court backed that decision, by claiming that providing flowers for a marriage ceremony “does not inherently express a message about that wedding.”

Decorating cakes is an art-form which usually requires some inspiration. Finding inspiration in something that God calls debauchery is not going to happen to a Christian. All the judges involved in these cases are pathetic.

The decision by America’s highest court not to take Stutzman’s appeal is the second time in recent years where the Supreme Court avoided the thorny issue of the balance between protecting individuals from discrimination and upholding rights enshrined in the Constitution.

Three years ago, the Supreme Court declined to address similar concerns when it ruled that a Colorado bakery could not be forced to create a cake for a same-sex wedding. The 7-2 decision in favor the baker only addressed the facts of his specific case, rather than the larger issue concerning religious or free speech objections to serving certain people or groups.

Prior to the Supreme Court’s refusal to hear the case, Stutzman’s lawyers argued that “these First Amendment violations must stop” and that the justices should rule that “religious people should be free to live out their beliefs.” The American Civil Liberties Union, representing Washington state, argued that providing services to same-sex marriages does infringe upon individual rights, as business owners do not have to participate in or endorse the ceremonies.

How can they create a cake or a flower setting without participating in the ceremonies? How stupid is that?

Estonian opposition MPs propose referendum on joining Russia in protest against constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage

The Estonian prime minister has slammed suggestions from opposition MPs that a referendum should be held over the Baltic state's accession to Russia. The idea was proposed as a protest against a law prohibiting same-sex marriage.

Writing on Facebook, centrist Prime Minister Juri Ratas explained that the country's constitution states “Estonia is an independent and sovereign democratic republic,” and condemned the proposal from center-left Reform Party MPs Urmas Kruuse, Ants Laaneots and Juri Jaanson.

“In my opinion, all Estonian political forces should unequivocally condemn this proposal,” he added.

Ratas' statement follows a joke suggestion for a referendum question from the opposition: ‘Would it be better to live in the Republic of Estonia if the country was part of Russia?’

According to Kruuse, one of the authoring MPs, the proposal was put forward to protest the country's upcoming initiative to vote on whether marriage should be restricted to between just a man and woman. His Reform Party opposes the constitutional amendment, which is being championed by far-right Finance Minister Martin Helme, who is leader of the Conservative Party. The prime minister is in coalition with Helme.

The Reform MPs withdrew their joke question following the objections.

In December, the referendum bill passed the first reading, but opposition parties have been trying to obstruct its procession through the second reading, and have submitted over 9,300 amendments. The other proposals include a referendum on withdrawal from NATO, the restoration of the Soviet Union and the banning of education in the Estonian language.

If passed, the ban on same-sex marriage could damage Estonia's reputation as a liberal post-Soviet republic. In 2019, the country's Centre and Conservative parties formed a ruling coalition, despite the center-left Reform Party winning the most votes. Late last year, Helme was named Estonia's most influential person. The politician is known for his anti-EU views, and has been accused of being xenophobic and racist, with “fascist neo-Nazi sympathies.”

In 2016, after a Swedish same-sex marriage was recognized by an Estonian court, Helme called for the judges’ “heads to roll.”

House introduces gender-neutral language in new rules for Congress
New reforms promote inclusion and diversity
Not to mention PCMadness and absurdity
By Anagha Srikanth | Jan. 4, 2021

Yes, the United States Congress does have rules.

The newly reelected House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rules Committee Chairman James P. McGovern introduced a new code of conduct ahead of the 117th Congress that includes "sweeping" reforms and promotes diversity and inclusivity.

"Democrats have crafted a package of unprecedented, bold reforms, which will make the House more accountable, transparent and effective in our work to meet the needs of the American people.  These future-focused proposals reflect our priorities as a Caucus and as a Country – including crushing the coronavirus, addressing economic disparity, combating the climate crisis, advancing inclusion, and promoting integrity in government," said Pelosi, who was reelected this past Sunday, in a statement.

In addition to permanently establishing an Office of Diversity and Inclusion and other diversity measures, the proposed package would "honor all gender identities by changing pronouns and familial relationships in the House rules to be gender neutral." Previously, Congress operated under a binary rule that “words importing one gender include the other as well.”

With a record number of LGBTQ+ lawmakers joining the new Congress, the latest rules acknowledge a spectrum of gender identities as well as same-sex relationships. Still, there are no nonbinary representatives in either the House or the Senate, and the nation’s first openly nonbinary lawmaker was elected just last year.

The influence of LGBTQ+ in the US government grows with every such congressperson or senator. Each step draws us closer and closer to the lifestyle of Sodom and Gomorrah. And each step draws us closer to the judgment of God.

Several anti-LGBTQ+ policy lawmakers decried the change, including Rep. Kevin McCarthy, who supported the Defense of Marriage act banning same-sex marriage.

If approved by vote, the rules package would not prevent the use of gendered language, but would rename certain official language. Included in the changes, the Office of the Whistleblower Ombudsman would become the Office of the Whistleblower Ombuds. It would also make steps towards diversifying witness panels at committee hearings and framing legislation through the lens of inequity.

Twitter rejected pleas to remove child porn from platform because it didn’t ‘violate policies,’ lawsuit claims
22 Jan 2021 02:00

A new lawsuit has accused Twitter of turning a blind eye to child pornography on its platform, claiming that it snubbed repeat requests from an underage sex trafficking victim to remove explicit images obtained through blackmail.

The suit, filed by the teenage victim and his mother in the Northern District of California on Wednesday, argues that Twitter refused to pull the sexually graphic videos on the grounds that they did not violate its policies, allowing them to rack up well over 150,000 views.

The plaintiff in the case – identified only as “John Doe” in court records – says he was just 13 when he was manipulated into sharing nude images of himself with a Snapchat user he believed to be a 16-year-old classmate. After he did so, “the correspondence changed to blackmail,” the lawsuit claims, adding that the perpetrators threatened to share the photos with the victim’s “parents, coach, pastor, and others in his community” if he did not send additional material. He complied with the traffickers’ demands, sending sexually explicit videos of himself, some of which included another minor.

Jack Dorsey, owner of Twitter. Does Twitter reflect the personal values of Dorsey?

At some point in 2019, a “compilation video” featuring the footage extorted from John Doe surfaced on Twitter through at least two accounts, eventually making their way to the victim in January 2020 after “he learned from his classmates that [the] videos of him and another minor were on Twitter and that many students in the school had viewed them.”

Due to the circulation of these videos, he faced teasing, harassment, vicious bullying, and became suicidal.

Immediately, the victim – who by this time was 16-years-old – informed his parents of the situation, prompting his mother, named as “Jane Doe” in the suit, to take up the issue with school officials, local police and with Twitter directly. That followed at least one previous complaint from a concerned Twitter user in late 2019, who reported one of the accounts that shared footage of the victim. The company took no action and the videos remained live.

By January 21, the plaintiff filed his own complaint with Twitter, telling the platform “These videos were taken from harassment and being threatened. It is now spreading around school and we need them taken down as we are both minors and we have a police report for the situation.” At the request of Twitter, he provided a photo of his driver’s license to confirm his identity.

Jane Doe also filed two additional complaints with the company one day later, to which Twitter replied with identical automated messages promising to review the content in question.

After a full week without a response from the company, despite repeat attempts by the victim’s mother beyond her initial complaints, Twitter finally replied on January 28, stating that it found no problems with the sexually explicit videos and would do nothing to have them removed.

“Thanks for reaching out. We’ve reviewed the content, and didn't find a violation of our policies, so no action will be taken at this time,” Twitter said, while insisting without a hint of irony that “your safety is the most important thing.”

The victim replied on the same day, outraged over the platform’s inaction, asking “What do you mean you don’t see a problem?”

We both are minors right now and were minors at the time these videos were taken. We both were 13 years of age. We were baited, harassed, and threatened to take these videos that are now being posted without our permission. We did not authorize these videos AT ALL and they need to be taken down.

While the company ignored John Doe’s final plea, within a few days his family “was able to connect with an agent of the US Department of Homeland Security” through a mutual contact, according to the suit.

“The federal agent also initiated contact with Twitter and at the request of the US federal government, the [explicit content] was finally removed from Twitter on or about January 30, 2020,” the lawsuit continues, adding that the offending accounts were also banned.

Twitter has come under fire in the past for its handling of child pornography, with the Canadian Centre for Child Protection finding in a review last year that the platform makes it “extremely difficult” to report such content, forcing users to locate a form separate from its “easily-accessible report function” found on every tweet.

As of March 2019, Twitter claims to enforce a “zero-tolerance child sexual exploitation policy,” and in its communications with John Doe and his mother said it forwards all reports of such material to the National Center Missing and Exploited Children. However, despite aggressive efforts by the victim to have images of himself removed from the platform, the company only did so after being contacted by the US federal government, failing to relay John Doe’s case to the Center until that point.

The company’s apparently lax stance on child pornography comes in stark contrast to its forceful policing of political content it deems “hateful” or to spread “misinformation,” regularly purging thousands of posts and users – among them even former president Donald Trump – over technical policy violations.

‘Sad day for women’s sports’: Row erupts after Joe Biden signs gender discrimination order paving way for transgender athletes

US President Joe Biden's newly-signed executive order on “combating discrimination” has sparked controversy among many critics, who say it will destroy women’s sports by allowing transgender athletes to participate.

Biden proudly signed dozens of new orders during his first day in office, including one on gender discrimination which many believe will oblige colleges to approve transgender athletes for women’s sports.

Titled "Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation", the order allows athletes to compete in high school and college sports in accordance with their gender identity, not biological sex.

“Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports,” it states.

“It is the policy of my administration to prevent and combat discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation.”

The order sparked outrage on social media, with many saying the influx of transgender athletes will ruin women’s sports.

Of course, the policy does the exact opposite to its stated purpose. It discriminates against all women in women's sports except those who are transgendered. This will do nothing to decrease bullying of trans women but will cause it to increase dramatically.

This is an attack on normal people and one that takes a big step toward Sodom and its madness.

While LGBT activists praised Biden’s decision to battle discrimination, critics said public schools will now be afraid of losing funding if they do not allow transgender female athletes to compete in girls’ sports.

“Sad day for women’s sports," wrote one. "Women must compete against biological males at the risk of injury and loss of title, thanks to a new Biden executive order. Don’t ever tell me this is ‘pro-woman.’ It’s not. It’s destructive and malicious."

“I don’t know how to feel about Biden’s executive order on transgender females playing in female sports. It seems like a disadvantage,” another tweeted.

“I don’t think its a good idea to have biological males competing with biological females regardless of what they identify as,” read one comment, while another said: “If you had a daughter competing in sports who wants to get a college scholarship, you might see the other side."
