Civil rape case against Donald Trump begins in Manhattan court

Shawn Crowley, who represents the former Elle magazine advice columnist, said during her opening statement on Tuesday that Trump "slammed Ms. Carroll against the wall" and "pressed his lips to hers," an account that other witnesses were prepared to verify.

"This is not a 'he said, she said' case," Crowley said in federal court in Manhattan.

Joe Tacopina, a lawyer for Trump, countered in his opening statement that the evidence will show that his client did not assault Carroll.

Tacopina also asked jurors to set aside feelings they may have about Trump, who has long inspired strong opinions from supporters and opponents across the political spectrum.

"You can hate Donald Trump. It's fine.... But there's a time and a secret place for that. It's called a ballot box in an election. It's not here in a court of law," Tacopina said. "Nobody's above the law, but no one is beneath it."

'Not my type'

Crowley and Tacopina spoke after U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan sat nine jurors who will decide whether Trump raped Carroll in a department store dressing room in the mid-1990s, and then defamed her by denying it happened.

In an October 2022 post on his Truth Social platform, Trump, 76, had called Carroll's rape claim a "hoax" and "complete Scam," said she made it up to promote her memoir, and declared that Carroll was "not my type!"

During sworn questioning in October, though, he misidentified Carroll in a photograph as his ex-wife Marla Maples.

Carroll, 79, is seeking unspecified damages for what she calls significant pain and suffering, lasting psychological harm and invasion of privacy.

She invoked a new New York state law giving adult sexual abuse victims a one-year window to sue their alleged attackers even if statutes of limitations expired long ago.

The trial is expected to last one to two weeks. Trump's lawyer will also give an opening statement.

CNBC’s Hadley Gamble also romantically linked to TPG’s David Bonderman

The TV anchor who brought down NBC Universal CEO Jeff Shell also had a romantic entanglement with a married Texas buyout tycoon who treated her to a luxurious, jet-setting lifestyle, The Post has learned.

Hadley Gamble — a CNBC correspondent who was revealed to be the woman who had an “inappropriate relationship” with Shell for more than a decade until 2019 — was also tied during the same period to David Bonderman, the billionaire chairman of private equity firm TPG, according to a whistleblower complaint reviewed by The Post.

Bonderman — the 80-year-old co-owner of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken, with an estimated net worth of $6.6 billion, according to Forbes — has been renowned for his extravagant lifestyle, hiring bands like the Rolling Stones to play at his lavish parties. 

According to an explosive whistleblower complaint filed by a former TPG executive in 2015, Bonderman counted Gamble among his “female companions” and treated her to frequent trips on the firm’s private jet.

Gamble was revealed to be the woman who had an “inappropriate relationship” with Jeff Shell.

“TPG’s founder, David Bonderman, is known within the company to have regular female companions on which he lavishes gifts or to whom he otherwise provides benefits,” former TPG executive Adam Levine alleged in his complaint filed with the SEC on March 2, 2015.

“Mr. Bonderman is rumored to pay most, if not all, of the living expenses for these women, and often brings them with him on business trips,” according to the complaint.

“Ms. Gamble, especially, is known to fly with him regularly on TPG’s planes.”

Bonderman founded TPG Capital and has an estimated net worth of $6.6 billion.

The allegations are a match for Gamble’s on-air persona, according to insiders — with some noting that Gamble made headlines worldwide two years ago after interviewing Russian President Vladimir Putin while wearing a tight black dress at an economic conference in Moscow.

Putin was caught on camera making flirty faces with Gamble before they went onstage — where he then suggested she was “too beautiful” to understand some of his answers, The Hill reported.

“She’ll be interviewing someone with a Louboutin [high-heeled shoe] dangling from her toe,” a source told The Post.

Gamble was accused of flirting with Russian President Vladimir Putin during an interview in 2021.

Levine, TPG’s former managing director for global public affairs, accused the firm of securities law violations relating to billing investors for costs that should have been borne by TPG Capital, in the filing with the SEC.

Gamble, 41, was not the focus of the complaint, which TPG settled in 2017 without admitting guilt for $13 million, according to the SEC.

Woman Drops Lawsuit Claiming Trump Raped Her at Age 13

A woman who has sued Donald Trump for raping her when she was 13 years old in 1994 has reportedly dropped her lawsuit. She also earlier canceled a press conference, where she was expected to speak on the allegations, citing “death threats.”

Thomas Francis Meagher, one of the attorneys representing the woman known only under the pseudonym Jane Doe, filed a “voluntary dismissal” notice in district court in New York late Friday.

This is the second child-rape case dismissed against Trump this year. Read into it what you will, but it's curious that the lawyer gave no apparent reason for the dismissal. Jane Doe had attracted several high profile lawyers to her case, but that didn't seem to help.

The civil lawsuit was scheduled for an initial status conference with a New York district court on December 16.

Trump was hit with the lawsuit in June, when Doe accused the GOP nominee and Jeffrey Epstein, a billionaire sex offender, of sexually assaulting her at parties held at Epstein’s mansion.

She filed a similar lawsuit in California in April, asking for $100 million in damages, but it was dismissed for technical filing errors. She then filed her complaint in New York.

The woman claimed she attended the events because she was pursuing a modeling career at the time and was promised this would be helpful.

Doe said in her New York lawsuit that Trump tied her to the bed and raped her, despite her pleas for him to stop. She claimed that Trump struck her in the face with an open hand and screamed “that he would do whatever he wanted.” Epstein, she said, raped her twice.

The two then made threats to her and her family, if she was to tell anyone about them, Doe said. 

Details in this case have been kept secret, but Doe was expected to drop the veil this week at a public meeting in Los Angeles. She was supposed to reveal her real identity to the press on Thursday, but the meeting was canceled abruptly.

“Jane Doe has received numerous threats today, as have all the Trump accusers that I have represented. She has decided she is too afraid to show her face. She has been here all day, ready to do it, but unfortunately she is in terrible fear,” Doe’s attorney Lisa Bloom said in a statement, promising to reschedule the meeting.

Bloom’s mother Gloria Allred, also an attorney, is currently representing several women who have accused Trump of sexual assaults.

Events that Doe described in her lawsuits have also been brought up in a complaint from another person.

Coinciding with Doe, an alleged woman named Katie Johnson also filed her lawsuit against both Trump and Epstein in California in April. She accused them of making her their “sex slave,” but like Doe’s, her case was dismissed in May.

Throughout his campaign, Trump has denied Doe’s accusations as well as claims made by other women.

The woman who accused Donald Trump of child sex abuse is expected to speak out for the first time since filing a lawsuit against the Republican presidential nominee.

Mr Trump has faced numerous sexual assault allegations following the release of audio that captured him bragging about groping and kissing women without their consent. In the last month of his presidential campaign, Mr Trump was accused of sexual misconduct by nearly a dozen women. 

First reported over the summer, Jane Doe alleges that Mr Trump raped her at a 1994 party at a New York apartment belonging to Jeffrey Epstein – a billionaire investor convicted of soliciting an underage prostitute in 2008. 

Any story that contains Jeffrey Epstein and underage girls should be considered credible by default!

She is expected to hold a press conference in Los Angeles Wednesday afternoon.

"More than four months ago a woman using the pseudonym 'Jane Doe' sued DT for a series of sexual assaults that she alleges occurred at parties in New York in 1994. Jane Doe was just 13 years old at the time," a statement from the law offices of Lisa Bloom, who is now representing the accuser, reads. " Jane Doe will break her silence today and speak out about her allegations."

Cheney Mason, an attorney who represented Jane Doe, filed a complaint in New York court and said that Mr Trump will have to face these allegations while under oath.

"This case, based on the sworn declarations of the victim and two corroborating witnesses, will be tried in court, where the defendants will be required to answer questions under oath and pursuant to the rules of evidence," Mr Mason said in a statement.

Mr Mason filed two witness statements on behalf of women identified as Joan Doe and Tiffany Doe in support of the New York businessman's accuser.

Joan Doe said that Jane Doe shared her accounts of the alleged assault a few months after she said they occurred between 1994 and 1995, according to court documents. 

Tiffany Doe claims she acted as a "recruiter" to find young women and girls for Epstein's apartment parties. She claims to have witnessed Mr Trump rape the accuser multiple times.

Mr Trump has vigorously denied the claims.

"The allegations are reckless, irresponsible and categorically untrue," said his attorney, Alan Garten.

Additionally, Mr Garten called the allegations "an obvious publicity stunt aimed at smearing my client".

For his part, Mr Trump disavowed the numerous sexual assault allegations that surfaced against him from the campaign trail.

"These claims are all fabricated. They're pure fiction and they're outright lies. These events never, ever happened," he told supporters at a 13 October rally in Florida. "These vicious claims about me of inappropriate conduct with women are totally and absolutely false."

Prager: In Defense of Pro-Trump Christians, Sort of

There are many good conservatives who are Never-Trumpers, and there are many good conservatives who will vote for Donald Trump. Eight months ago, I warned that conservatives must resist gratuitous hatred or they will destroy themselves more effectively than the left ever could on its own.

I used the term "gratuitous hatred" because it is the term Jews and Judaism use to describe the reason for one of the greatest calamities of Jewish history: the destruction of the Second Temple and the second Jewish state. It wasn't the Romans who Jewish tradition blames; it was the Jews themselves -- for hating one another for no good reason.

When I read the Boston Globe column "How the Religious Right Embraced Donald Trump and Lost its Moral Authority" by Jeff Jacoby, a man whose work I have long respected, gratuitous hatred came to mind. Just as there are pro-Trump people who have expressed contempt for anti-Trump people since the very beginning -- as an early anti-Trumper I can personally attest to this (even though I wrote repeatedly that if Trump wins the nomination, I would vote for him) -- some Never-Trump people now dismiss the decency and moral credibility of conservatives voting for Trump.

In light of this, I would like to respond to Jacoby and the editorial against Trump that was published last week in the important evangelical journal World.

Jacoby's piece consisted of contained attacks on the moral credibility and decency of pro-Trump Christians. He said: "Religious conservatives shed their principles, and thereby dismantled their influence. ... Buried under the post-election wreckage will be the moral credibility of the religious right. ... (Their) hypocrisy ... is orders of magnitude worse than the customary flip-flopping and sail-trimming of a presidential campaign." Unlike Jacoby, World went out of its way to be gracious to those Christians still voting for Trump, saying, "We also value those who still plan to vote for Trump so as to vote for the Supreme Court."

But the private Trump comments on groping women pushed World to call for Trump to resign and for Christians to withdraw their support. It said, "If a person is unfaithful to his spouse, he's also likely to be unfaithful to his country."

I have heard this argument about the alleged connection between marital infidelity and infidelity to one's country my whole life. And it has been false my whole life -- as well as throughout history. There is no connection between marital fidelity and fidelity to country. Were the unfaithful Lyndon B. Johnson and John F. Kennedy also unfaithful to America?

Indeed, some of the world's greatest leaders have been unfaithful to their wives. And some of the worst have been faithful.

I wish there were a connection. Choices for leaders would then be much simpler. The only married candidates we would vote for are those we believe had never been unfaithful to their spouses.

Jacoby and World must think God was pretty flawed in voting for King David. King David did much worse than privately boasting about women allowing him to grope them. He had a man killed so his adultery with the man's wife would not be exposed. And while God was angry with David and punished him, God still maintained David as king and gave him a central role in Jewish history. If God shouldn't be ashamed for supporting King David, Christians shouldn't be ashamed for supporting Donald Trump, given the far more corrupt and destructive alternative.

Mr Prager had me until now. However, there is little comparison between King David and Donald Trump. David was a man after God's own heart who went astray out of lust and repented intensely. Donald Trump is not a man after God's own heart, he is a 2 Timothy 3 man, and one all Christians should turn away from as Paul directed.

The unfaithful argument does not do honor to those fine people who make the argument because telling the truth is also a divine command.

World wrote, "To quote (Albert) Mohler (president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary), we should not 'allow a national disgrace to become the Great Evangelical Embarrassment.'" That means that World is for allowing another national disgrace -- Hillary Clinton -- to become president. Why wouldn't that be a "Great Evangelical Embarrassment"?

"Another national disgrace"? Mr Prager has come to believe his own hype and the disgraceful exhibition of name-calling and character assassination that the Republicans have been ruthlessly hammering on for several years. Hillary is not the most wonderful person to run for President, but there are several presidents who's character has been far worse than hers, Johnson, Nixon, and her own husband just to name 3. I would vote for Michelle Obama in a heartbeat before voting for Hillary, but the US has had worse. Yes, even worse than Trump.

It's unfortunate that Prager uses such language for it makes it almost impossible for Trump supporters to lose gracefully and that will ensure a country that is almost impossible to rule with any elegance. Trump supporter's intransigence is liable to be the cause for a President Clinton to be the fulfillment of all the fears they express like gun control.

But they will respond that they are not for Clinton either.

This is the only argument of anti-Trump conservatives that drives me crazy -- this vociferous denial that they are not for Clinton. Of course they aren't for Clinton intellectually, emotionally or morally. But the voting booth does not assess intellect, emotions or morals; it only assesses votes. So no matter how much a Republican loathes Clinton, in depriving Trump of Republican votes, anti-Trump Republicans are helping Clinton win the presidency.

It didn't have to be this way. It was the complete lack of discernment in the character of Trump that allowed him to get the nomination in the first place. Had Mr Prager and others been more critical of Trump rather than hammering away at Hillary's emails, there might actually have been a reasonable alternative to Hillary.

In sum, a religious conservative can honorably support Trump just as honorable Christians supported Joseph Stalin against Adolf Hitler (and for the sake of those who enjoy mischaracterizing conservatives, I am, of course, not implying that Trump is Stalin, or that Clinton is Hitler -- only that if Christians could ally themselves with Stalin to defeat a more dangerous foe, Christians could support Trump to defeat Clinton).

Surely, there is something seriously wrong with the 2-party system in the USA. When it leaves Christians with no apparent choice but to support a man who exemplifies the culture of rape in America, it's time to reorganize the way Americans do politics.

There is no defense for Donald Trump's comments or alleged sexual misbehavior. But in terms of damage to America, there is no comparison between what he has said and allegedly done and what she has done and advocates for the future. Is acting on that realization un-Christian?

I completely disagree with this statement. The worst problem in America today is not Hillary, it is not debt, the economy, Mexicans, ISIS, Islam or anything else Trump is railing against. It isn't even abortion although about a million babies are destroyed annually even thought here has been 20 years (I think) of Republican presidents and more of Republican lawmakers since Roe v Wade.
The worst problem an America today is sex abuse of women and especially children. 3/4 of a million children are sexually abused every year in America, and that is a conservative estimate. Unlike aborted babies, very few of them get to go straight to Heaven. Most have to live their lives out in extremely difficult circumstances. Very few sexually abused children ever completely recover, and far too many struggle with horrible, debilitating, mental and emotional problems the rest of their lives. 

This is the worst problem in America as it is the worst problem in the whole world where about 35 million children suffer sexual abuse every year. And since most suffer repeated abuse the actual number of child sexual abuses could be, and probably is in the billions annually. 

So ask me, do I care about somebody's emails? Do I care about 4 dead bodies in Benghazi? If that's all you can wrap your mind around, then your priorities are severely screwed up! Just saying...

My Time to Stand Against Sexual Abuse

The version of “locker room banter” that too many girls and women know is the intimate sharing of stories of sexual assault and abuse by men who view them as nothing more than things to be grabbed, as Donald Trump suggested in the 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape.

More than a decade ago in middle school, I found myself surrounded by a group of young girls. They all leaned in, quiet with interest. We swapped stories about boys and “firsts” — the young girls’ version of “locker room banter.”

My tear-stained face told them what I had to say was important. Devastating, even. My then-best friend, Jennifer, was there. She pressed her hand against my back, like a mother soothing a child.

I revealed my secret between sobs. The girls remained silent. Moments later, I was called into an office and questioned by my teacher and a counselor. I felt naked and vulnerable. They said that the accusations were serious and they were going to call my mother.

“No, that never happened to me,” I responded in a panic.

I was too ashamed to tell the truth — that I had suffered sexual abuse at the hands of someone I was supposed to trust, a family friend, someone I thought of as an older brother. So I lied.

“Jennifer was the one who was abused,” I declared, my eyes cast downward.

I never forgave myself for choosing the safety of a lie over the discomfort of the truth. I never forgave myself for selling out my friend — who weeks earlier had revealed to me that when she was a child a relative raped her — to protect myself from confronting that I, too, was sexually abused. Now 26, I finally have found the courage to no longer hide.

The version of “locker room banter” that too many girls and women know is the intimate sharing of stories of sexual assault and abuse by men who view them as nothing more than things to be grabbed, as Donald Trump suggested in the 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape.

He should know that every two minutes an American is sexually assaulted, and that every eight minutes that victim is a child, according to the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network, RAINN, an advocacy group. Just 6 out of every 1,000 perpetrators end up in prison.

Jennifer’s relative is among the perpetrators who never served a day in prison. After she was dragged through a legal process that lasted years and tore apart her family, she was told there was not enough evidence to prosecute him. It was her word against his. My abuser also never suffered any consequences for his actions. A couple of years ago, I contacted him via Facebook. I needed closure and understanding about what happened all those years ago. Was it my fault?

“You liked it,” he wrote. “You wanted to.”

For years, I’ve been consumed by guilt and shame. Shame over whether I liked it? Fears that my abuse was my fault. Shame over the decision I made that forced a friend to publicly relive the trauma of her abuse. I wished I had never said what I did that day to a group of girls. I thought our conversation was private, not that it would be revealed to the world. But the hard truth is that sexual assault and abuse should never be kept private.

“We need to recover from our shock and our depression,” Michelle Obama said Thursday of the appropriate reaction to Trump’s derogatory comments about women. She’s right.

For sexual abuse survivors, the road to recovery is long, and often we have little or no support in our journey. As I did to my best friend, the world frequently turns its back on survivors. It brands, blames or attempts to discredit us, because confronting the truth that sexual abuse is widespread and must be addressed is far harder to do than hiding behind the excuses that “boys will be boys,” “men will be men” or “she wanted it.”

Today, I finally take a stand, not only for my best friend, but for myself and all of the girls and women who cannot because they are still recovering from shock, guilt and shame.

I hope America will stand with us as well. A man who is so cavalier about the abuse of women is not fit to be our president. Survivors on their road to recovery need to be assured of at least that much.

Actress and singer Rose McGowan says she was sexually assaulted by a Hollywood executive, who she only refers to as a "studio head."

In a series of tweets to her 635,000 followers, the Grindhouse and Charmed star said the assault had been "an open secret in Hollywood" and she didn't report it after being discouraged by a lawyer.

"A [female] criminal attorney said because I'd done a sex scene in a film I would never win against the studio head," she wrote in one tweet posted Thursday.

Using the hashtag #WhyWomenDontReport, McGowan is one of many women speaking out about sexual assault following the release of a tape last week which caught Donald Trump making comments about groping women.

A day after the Trump tape was leaked, Canadian writer Kelly Oxford, who has more than 700,000 followers, asked women to tweet their "first assaults," using the hashtag #notokay.

At one point, the L.A.-based author and screenwriter said she was receiving 50 tweets per minute from people about their experiences.

While Oxford maintains the #notokay campaign isn't affiliated with a political organization, McGowan is an active supporter of a social media movement called #WomenCanStopTrump. She has also become known in Hollywood for calling out sexist and questionable, but accepted, practices.

Can there be any doubt that both the USA and Canada need national inquiries into sex abuse and child sex abuse? 

Lady Gaga also spoke in support of the hashtag, having previously revealed how she was raped by a music producer when she was a teenager.

She says that reading tweets from rape surivors was like "re-living it all over again."

McGowan's declaration followed a similar confession by fellow actress Amber Tamblyn.

In a lengthy Instagram post on Sunday, Tamblyn revealed a former boyfriend (who she did not name) was abusive and detailed a night in which he assaulted her at a club, forcefully grabbing her by her genitals. The caption is under a photo of Trump kissing pageant queen Olivia Culpo.

“Without going into all the of the details, I will tell you that my ex did show up, and came up to me in the crowd," the actress wrote. "He’s a big guy, taller than me. The minute he saw me, he picked me up with one hand by my hair and with his other hand, he grabbed me under my skirt by my vagina— my p----?— and lifted me up off the floor, literally, and carried me, like something he owned, like a piece of trash, out of the club. His fingers were practically inside of me, his other hand wrapped tightly around my hair. I screamed and kicked and cried."

Tamblyn went on to say that others intervened and stopped anything further from happening, and she was physically and emotionally scarred by the event.

It also came at the end of a week in which multiple women lodged sexual-assault complaints against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and one month after former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson won a $20 million settlement in her sexual-harassment lawsuit against ex-CEO Roger Ailes. 

Though he was forced out of the top job at Fox News, he still reportedly walked away with twice the amount of money Carlson received.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Michelle Obama issued a deeply personal denunciation of Donald J. Trump on Thursday for his lewd comments about women, exhorting voters in scathing terms to reject his candidacy and the campaign’s increasingly vulgar tenor by backing Hillary Clinton as a matter of conscience.

“This is not normal. This is not politics as usual,” Mrs. Obama said in a 25-minute speech here during which her voice at times quavered with emotion. “This is disgraceful, it is intolerable, and it doesn’t matter what party you belong to,” she added. “No woman deserves to be treated this way — none of us deserves this kind of abuse.”

In remarks that were among the most outspoken by a first lady in modern history, Mrs. Obama, who has mostly avoided the political limelight, positioned herself at the center of a campaign she characterized as having devolved into “madness.” (Theatre of the absurd?). She implored voters to “stand up and say enough is enough.”

“I can’t believe that I’m saying that a candidate for president of the United States has bragged about sexually assaulting women,” the first lady told several hundred voters at a university here.

“I can’t stop thinking about this — it has shaken me to my core,” Mrs. Obama said, reacting to the emergence last week of a recording in which Mr. Trump was heard coarsely boasting about kissing and groping women without their consent.

What followed from the first lady, who has styled herself America’s “mom in chief,” was a message about empowering women to rise up against sexual abuse and harassment in every context. The speech was all the more striking because it was delivered on behalf of Mrs. Clinton, whose experience with her husband’s infidelity all but disqualifies her from speaking in similarly vivid terms.

Aides said Mrs. Obama had always planned to reshape her stump speech as Election Day neared to focus more on women and the significance of electing the first female president. But when Mr. Trump’s remarks surfaced on Friday, she ripped up that speech, ultimately settling on one that was all the more biting for its intimate tone.

“I feel it so personally,” Mrs. Obama said on Thursday, placing her hand against her heart for emphasis as she spoke about Mr. Trump’s treatment of women. “It’s like that sick, sinking feeling you get when you’re walking down the street minding your own business and some guy yells out vulgar words about your body, or when you see that guy at work that stands just a little too close, stares a little too long so you feel uncomfortable in your own skin.”

“I can tell you that the men in my life do not talk about women this way,” Mrs. Obama added. “To dismiss this as everyday locker room talk is an insult to decent men everywhere.”

The speech was a riveting moment in an already remarkable campaign, coming just before Mr. Trump appeared in West Palm Beach, Fla., to angrily denounce as “false smears” news reports in which several women said he had made unwanted advances on them.

The New Hampshire rally was Mrs. Obama’s sixth campaign appearance for Mrs. Clinton in a month, and the first lady broke from her usual approach and did not speak about Mrs. Clinton’s qualifications for the presidency until halfway through her speech. She said the former secretary of state “embodies so many of the values that we try hard to teach our young people,” and ticked off highlights from Mrs. Clinton’s résumé, saying that any parent would be proud to raise a daughter like her.

But she also sought to appeal to those unenthusiastic about Mrs. Clinton or politics itself, issuing a call to voters across the political spectrum who have been alienated by a contest dominated by outrageous statements and partisan rage.

“We simply cannot endure this, or expose our children to this any longer — not for another minute, and let alone for four years,” Mrs. Obama said. “This has got to stop right now.”

She argued that even voters repulsed by the tone of the campaign — “we are drowning in it,” she said at one point — must consider the norms of behavior they wanted to instill in their children.

“In our hearts, we all know that if we let Hillary’s opponent win this election, then we are sending a clear message to our kids that everything they’re seeing and hearing is perfectly O.K. We are validating it. We are endorsing it,” Mrs. Obama said. “We’re telling our sons that it’s O.K. to humiliate women. We’re telling our daughters that this is how they deserve to be treated. We’re telling all our kids that bigotry and bullying are perfectly acceptable in the leader of their country.”

I have been saying for months now that Trump talks, acts, and thinks like an adolescent. I would prefer someone with at least a semblance of maturity running the biggest military in the world.

Instead, she framed the decision to vote for Mrs. Clinton as akin to a woman’s choice to speak out in the face of sexual mistreatment or violence.

“We need to recover from our shock and depression and do what women have always done in this country,” Mrs. Obama said. “We need you to roll up your sleeves. We need to get to work.”

Donald Trump Accused of Raping 13yo Girl in New Lawsuit

I hesitate to post this for fear it could be a very nasty 'dirty trick' by the establishment oligarchs who fear a Trump presidency. Nevertheless, it has been reported in several news sites, even a few reputable ones. So here it is:

A lawsuit filed in federal court in New York has accused presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump of repeatedly raping a 13-year-old girl more than two decades ago. A suit with similar allegations filed by the same plaintiff was dismissed in California.

The suit filed Monday, first reported by The Real Deal, alleges that the rapes occurred in 1994 at Upper East Side parties hosted by ex-hedge fund manager and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump had known Epstein for seven years by that time.

Epstein was a high flyer who arranged parties for many people. He also shared his private jet with celebrities. Names like Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker have been associated with Epstein along with allegations of sex between Prince Andrew and an underage girl.

The plaintiff, known only as Jane Doe, claims that Trump and Epstein lured her and other girls to the parties at Epstein’s mansion with promises of a modeling career. The plaintiff said that instead she was sexually assaulted by the two men in a way the suit characterizes as “savage.”

The complaint alleges that Trump tied the plaintiff to the bed and raped her. It claims that when she pleaded for him to stop, Trump struck her in the face with an open hand and screamed “that he would do whatever he wanted,” according to the suit.

“Immediately following this rape, Defendant Trump threatened me that, were I ever to reveal any of the details of Defendant Trump’s sexual and physical abuse of me, my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed,” the plaintiff said in an affidavit, according to the New York Daily News.

Epstein is claimed to have subsequently raped the plaintiff twice, and to have reiterated violent threats against her family.

Some of the claims of girls being lured to parties were corroborated by another anonymous woman identified as Tiffany Doe. She claims that Epstein met her at the Port Authority and paid her to recruit other underage girls for his parties.

A very similar lawsuit was filed by the same Jane Doe in federal court in Los Angeles. That suit included claims that Trump gave the plaintiff money for an abortion after she expressed fear of pregnancy, and that Trump called Epstein, but these allegations are nowhere to be found in the latest complaint.

The Los Angeles lawsuit – which asked for $100 million in damages – was dismissed by a judge last month, and the Trump campaign called it “categorically false” and “disgusting.”

While Monday’s suit may not have the price tag or some of the sensational claims of its forerunner, it still has the core allegations of sexual assault.

Doe said in the filing that she remained silent on the matter for so many years because she was afraid of the threats against her family being carried out, but said she remains traumatized by the incident due to the media coverage of Trump.

The Donald Trump campaign did not immediately respond to RT’s request for comment.
