The Oshiwara Police Station has registered a complaint alleging rape charges against veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty’s son and actor Mahaakshay alias Mimoh, an official said on Saturday. “We have lodged the victim’s complaint and are investigating the matter before proceeding further,” Senior Police Inspector Dayanand H Bangar told IANS, though he did not specify details.

Among other charges, the police have booked Mimoh for rape, cheating, criminal intimidation, causing hurt and common intention along with his mother. In her complaint, the 38-year-old victim has also named Mimoh’s mother (Mithun’s wife) and former actress Yogeeta Bali as co-accused. The victim has claimed that she was in a relationship with Mimoh since 2015 and he had reportedly promised to marry her but he backtracked.

At that time, Mimoh had called her to his new flat in Adarsh Nagar where he allegedly spiked her drink and had a forcible physical relationship with her. She further said that when she became pregnant, Mimoh forced her to terminate it, but when she refused he gave her some pills which aborted her pregnancy.

The victim has also said that she was threatened by Mimoh’s mother when she was going to lodge a police complaint. This is the second complaint filed by the victim against Mimoh and his mother in the past three years.

Earlier, she had lodged a similar complaint against them with Begumpur Police Station in New Delhi in June 2018 in which a court had granted anticipatory bail to the mother-son duo.

In March this year, the Delhi High Court directed the victim to lodge a complaint in the jurisdiction where the offence had taken place after which she approached the Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai.

Married to television serial actress Madalasa Sharma in 2018, Mahaakshay, 36, made his Bollywood debut with ‘Jimmy’ (2008), besides acting in films like ‘Haunted 3D’, ‘Loot’, ‘Enemmy’, ‘Ishqedarriyaan’, and some Bengali films.

‘I believed I was not visible’: CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin suspended by New Yorker for allegedly showing penis on Zoom call

Jeffrey Toobin, reporter for the New Yorker, has reportedly been suspended for the “embarrassingly stupid mistake” of exposing his genitals on a Zoom call with co-workers. The matter is being investigated by the paper.

The incident occurred last week, according to a report from Vice, during a call between New Yorker employees and WNCY radio.

The New Yorker confirmed the matter is being investigated and Toobin has been suspended.

Toobin said in a statement that he thought he was “off-camera” and “no one on the Zoom call could see me. I thought I had muted the Zoom video,” he told Vice’s Motherboard. He issued an apology to his “wife, family, friends, and co-workers.”

Toobin, no stranger to personal drama making headlines, has been mocked aplenty on social media after news of his suspension broke, with some theorizing the flashing incident may be even more complicated and many others bringing up past public drama from the writer’s life.

“His comment, ‘I thought I’d muted the video’ makes me think this wasn’t just an accidental getting-dressed-in-the-background type of situation,” Grabien founder and editor Tom Elliott tweeted.

“A CNN analyst who tried to bully a colleague's daughter whom he impregnated into getting an abortion, and who then refused to pay child support, ‘accidentally’ showcased his schvantz during a Zoom call with other reporters,” Federalist co-founder Sean Davis wrote, referencing an incident in which the married Toobin allegedly impregnated attorney Casey Greenfield, daughter of journalist Jeff Greenfield, in an extramarital affair. He eventually needed to take a paternity test and was even sued over child support.

Toobin’s Twitter account has been silent since October 13 and his work email has reportedly been shut down. He has also “requested time off” from his duties as a legal analyst at CNN, on which he last appeared on Saturday, which they have granted, according to a network spokesperson.

Nice to know CNN uses only analysts of the highest moral quality.

Mayor of Denmark’s capital Copenhagen resigns over sexual harassment

19 Oct 2020 12:46

Copenhagen’s Mayor Frank Jensen has announced he will resign from his position, after admitting to having harassed several women over the last 30 years.

The 59-year-old also quit his post as deputy chairman of the ruling Social Democrats.

“I am happy for the 30 years I have been in politics,”
Jensen told reporters on Monday. “As a person I can’t stand in the way of the Social Democratic party.”

On Sunday, Jensen admitted to having sexually harassed a number of women. He issued apologies on Sunday to Maria Gudme, the woman he has admitted to assaulting in a Nyhavn pub eight years ago, and an anonymous woman he assaulted during a Christmas lunch in 2011.

But he had planned to stay on in his position to help change “a sexist culture in City Hall.” However, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said on Monday that the allegations against the mayor were “very serious.”

The mayor claimed that he wanted to be a “positive part” of the process that has begun with the second wave of MeToo. “I want to go from being a part of the problem to being a part of the solution,” he said, adding that he would also limit his alcohol intake when attending future events.

All the parties in the Citizens’ Representation in Copenhagen – with the exception of the Social Democrats – are demanding an independent investigation into the accusations. They also include harassment incidents in 2012 and 2017 at social events that involved Jensen, according to the Jyllands-Posten daily.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Sued for 2015 Sexual Assault of a Minor

The rapper pleaded guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance. He’s now being sued for child sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and infliction of emotional distress

By Madison Bloom, Pitchfork

Note: This article contains descriptions of alleged sexual assault and sexual abuse involving minors that some readers may find disturbing.

In 2015, Daniel Hernandez, known as rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, pleaded guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance, the act of which was filmed. Now, the alleged victim has filed a new lawsuit claiming that she was the girl in the video, as TMZ and Page Six report. According to court documents viewed by TMZ and Page Six, the woman—identified only as Jane Doe—is suing Hernandez for allegedly sexually abusing her at a Harlem party in 2015 when she was 13 years old. Hernandez was 18 at the time.

According to the suit, Jane Doe states that she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol during the alleged assault, thereby compromising her ability to consent (which was already compromised by her status of being underage). She reportedly states that Hernandez and his associate Tay Milly made three sexually explicit videos which they later posted online.

Jane Doe’s suit reportedly states that one video depicts her performing oral sex on Tay Milly while Hernandez gestured pelvic thrusts behind her and “touched and groped [her] buttocks in a sexually explicit and demeaning manner,” as Page Six reports. Another video reportedly features Jane Doe sitting on Hernandez’s lap partially undressed, while another features her laying naked across Hernandez and Milly’s laps while the latter groped her. According to TMZ, Jane Doe is suing both Hernandez and Milly for child sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and infliction of emotional distress.

Additionally, as Page Six points out, the documents allege that Milly raped Doe in the two or three months leading up to the party in Harlem. The alleged victim “was caused to be severely injured and suffer severe emotional and psychological injuries,” according to documents viewed by Page Six. Doe is suing for unspecified damages under the Child Victims Act, which allows her to file suit regardless of the statute of limitations.

The details of Jane Doe’s allegations were previously reported, however the alleged victim has not come forward prior to the new lawsuit. Following Hernandez’s 2015 guilty plea to the use of a child in a sexual performance, the rapper was sentenced to four years of probation (3rd story on link) (with one year previously served), but was not required to register as a sex offender. He was required to serve 1000 hours of community service, in addition to refraining from the posting or reposting of sexually explicit or violent images of women or children on social media platforms.

Good grief!

Matthew McConaughey reveals he was ‘molested’ as a teen and
‘blackmailed’ into losing his virginity at 15 in new memoir

MATTHEW McConaughey has revealed he was molested as a teenager and "blackmailed" into losing his virginity aged 15.

The Oscar winner, 50, said in his new memoir, Greenlights, that he was sexually assaulted by a man after being "knocked unconscious" in the back of a van.

Matthew wrote: “I was blackmailed into having sex for the first time when I was 15. I was certain I was going to hell for the premarital sex.

"Today, I am merely certain that I hope that’s not the case."

The actor, who has three children with model Camila Alves, added: "I was molested by a man when I was 18 while knocked unconscious in the back of a van.”

Despite the traumatic incidents, the Interstellar actor said: "I’ve never felt like a victim. I have a lot of proof that the world is conspiring to make me happy.”

This is Matthew's first time talking publicly about the sexual assault.

Back in 2016, the father-of-three supported the University Of Texas' "Rape Elimination Program" by shuttling students home from campus after dark.

Matthew was pictured in a golf cart taking people home as he raised awareness for preventing sexual assault.

Elsewhere in his memoir, the How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days star shed light on his parents Kay and James' turbulent marriage.

Matthew claimed Kay once broke James' nose and held a knife at him during a fight, before they had sex on the kitchen floor.

He also alleged that James broke Kay's middle finger.

His parents were married three times and divorced twice, and James went drinking at a bar on the day Kay was in hospital giving birth to Matthew as he didn't think the baby was his.

Discussing his parents' volatile romance, Matthew told The New York Times: "The love was real. The passion was real. This is the reality, but there’s humanity in that reality."

Matthew - who won an Oscar for his role in Dallas Buyers Club in 2014 - added that James was tough on him and his three older brothers, but that he'd learned invaluable lessons from James' strict stance.

“I wouldn’t give back one a*s-whupping I got for the values that are ingrained in me," Matthew said.

James died of a heart attack in 1992 while having sex with Kay.

Having read Greenlights, Kay admitted she wished the memoir depicted more of the "affection" between her and James.

"It was a rocky and passionate love affair we had, but I do wish Matthew would have told more of the stories about me and his dad’s love, affection and commitment to each other," she told the New York Times.

Matthew, who shot to fame in the coming-of-age comedy Dazed And Confused, married Camila Alves in 2012.

They have three children together - sons Levi, 12, Livingstone, seven and daughter Vida, 10.

California Judge Dismisses Lawsuit Filed By Michael Jackson
Sex Abuse Accuser
RYAN J. FARRICK — October 25, 2020

The judge said Michael Jackson’s companies cannot be held liable for the late pop star’s alleged misconduct.

A California judge has dismissed the lawsuit of one of two men who claim to have been sexually abused by the late “King of Pop,” Michael Jackson.

According to The Associated Press, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark A. Young ruled that James Safechuck, 42, could not sue the two Jackson-owned corporations named as defendants in the suit, MJJ Productions Inc. and MJJ Ventures Inc.

In his Tuesday ruling, Young determined that Safechuck did not demonstrate the sort of relationship with either company which would have obliged them to shield Safechuck—or anyone else—from Jackson’s alleged predation.

Howard Weitzman and Jonathon Steinsapir, both attorneys for Jackson’s estate, said they are pleased with Young’s finding. “We are pleased that the court dismissed Mr. Safechuck’s case by ruling that he had no grounds to pursue such a lawsuit,” the lawyers said in a statement.

The Associated Press notes that this was the second time Safechuck’s lawsuit was discarded by a California court.

Safechuck first attempted to sue the Jackson estate in 2013, but his complaint was dismissed four years later. However, Safechuck was given a second chance—an appeals court reinstated his suit earlier this year, after California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, signed into law a proposal allowing adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse to sue predators and enablers long after the statute of limitations for their claims would have expired.

Safechuck, adds the BBC, was one of two men who publicly accused Jackson of sexual abuse in the 2019 documentary “Leaving Neverland.”

In the documentary and in his lawsuit, Safechuck maintains that he was abused by Jackson “hundreds of times” in the singer’s home and during music tours. He explicitly accused MJJ Productions Inc. and MJJ Ventures Inc. of directly assisting Jackson in procuring children to abuse.

“The thinly-veiled, covert second purpose of these businesses was to operate as a sexual abuse operation, specifically designed to locate, attract, lure and seduce child sexual abuse victims,” Safechuck’s lawsuit stated.

An attorney for Safechuck, Vince Finaldi, told the BBC that Safechuck once appeared in a Pepsi commercial with Jackson, and often accompanied him to concerts. “Because he was a minor, and he was an employee working for them, they had a duty to protect him,” Finaldi said. “That’s our argument.”

However, Young contested that argument, observing that neither company was directly responsible for Safechuck’s alleged abuse. Furthermore, neither corporation could “control” Jackson, because Jackson himself controlled both companies and everyone they employed.

Safechuck’s attorneys have said they plan to appeal the decision.
