Arkansas man charged with murder - running for Sheriff

Man could be in jail as he is elected Sheriff next year. How awkward would that be?

US man accused of killing daughter’s rapist runs for sheriff

Aaron Spencer has pledged that law enforcement in Arkansas will again be on the side of families if he is elected
US man accused of killing daughter’s rapist runs for sheriff

A US military veteran has announced plans to run for sheriff in an Arkansas county despite being charged with the murder of a man who sexually assaulted his daughter.

Aaron Spencer, 37, allegedly shot dead Michael Fosler, 67, in October 2024 after discovering him in a car with his 14-year-old daughter. At the time of the incident, Fosler had been charged with multiple sexual offenses against the veteran’s child, but was released on bail.

Spencer told police that he “had no choice” but to open fire as Fosler “lunged towards him” when he ordered him to get out of the truck, according to court papers.

In a video published on Facebook on Friday, Spencer – who is running for sheriff of Lonoke County – described himself as a “father who acted to protect his daughter when the system failed.”

“And through my own fight for justice, I have seen firsthand the failures in law enforcement and in our circuit court. I refuse to stand by while others face these same failures,” he said.

The veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division said his campaign to become a sheriff “is not about me; it is about every parent, every neighbor, every family who deserves to feel safe in their homes and in their community.”

“It is about restoring trust, where neighbors know law enforcement is on their side and families know they will not be left alone in a moment of need,” he added.

The clip gathered more than 8,000 likes in the space of three days, with multiple commentators saying they would support Spencer’s candidacy.

The vote for Lonoke County sheriff is scheduled to take place in November next year. Jeff Staley, who has been in the job for more than a decade, has announced plans to seek re-election.

Spencer’s trial on charges of second-degree murder is set to begin on January 26, 2026.

Wolves in the Henhouse > KY Judge ran courthouse like a brothel until the Sheriff shot him

Judge gunned down by sheriff ran courthouse

‘like a brothel’ in sextortion scheme: witness

A rural Kentucky judge gunned down by a sheriff in his own chambers allegedly ran
the courthouse like a “brothel” and brought women to his office in an ongoing sex-for
-favors scheme, a witnesstold cops.

The police audio recording, obtained by the NewsNation show, ‘Banfield’, revealed the latest sordid twist in the trial of ex-sheriff Shawn Stines, 43, who admitted to pumping several rounds into District Judge Kevin Mullins in the Letcher County courthouse in September.

The claim was made by Sabrina Adkins, a woman who, in 2022, had been coerced into sexual favors by one of Stines’ deputies, Ben Fields, in exchange for staying under house arrest.

Speaking to police about the assault, she suggested that the sextortion wasn’t a one-off incident — and Fields wasn’t the only one involved.

Security camera footage showed Shawn Stines shooting Kevin Mullins several times in his own chambers.

She said she saw multiple videos of multiple “higher ups” having sex in Mullins’ chambers and implied both Judge Mullins and Deputy Fields were in on a longstanding racket in which multiple women were coerced for sex.

“I seen Judge Mullins having sex with a girl … in the judge’s chambers,” Adkins told police in the interview, adding that the then-deputy Fields “does have some videotapes of some stuff in the judge’s chambers… just with girls, sexual and stuff.”

“It’s like they were running a brothel out of that courtroom,” Adkins’ attorney, Ned Pillersdorf, told NewsNation.

It’s unclear whether the alleged sextortion scheme had anything to do with the execution-style slaying in which security footage shows Stine stepping into Mullins’ office and unloading eight rounds into his old pal at point-blank range.

But authorities have suggested it was being investigated as a possible sex scandal.

Stines and Mullins had been close friends for 30 years. The pair were even seen having lunch together hours before the slaying.

After he surrendered to officers, Stines told police, “They’re trying to kidnap my wife and kid.

Stines’ attorney has called it a crime of passion due to an “extreme emotional disturbance,” and the ex-lawman has pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder of a public official, which could potentially carry the death penalty.

4 Navy Petty Officers; CPS Worker; Deputy Sheriff; Youth Pastor Lead Today's USA PnP List

Four Navy Petty Officers accused of
group sex with a minor, pornography

A group of petty officers assigned to a US submarine base have been charged with engaging in group sex with a girl younger than 16 and filming it. A criminal investigation was launched after an anonymous tip-off.

The incident, reported by the Navy Times on Friday, allegedly took place on September 17, 2017, and had not been made public up until now. According to the charge sheets, obtained by the publication, the four petty officers engaged in sexual acts with the girl in barracks at the Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor in Washington state. It’s unclear how the girl, said to be between 12 and 16 years old, was sneaked into the military base.

The orgy took place “with the door open, and with open recording of the group sex using photography and video equipment,” the charge sheets state. The crime was not carried out on the spur of the moment, with investigators saying that the four discussed it in a smoking area before heading for the barracks.

A criminal investigation was launched by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service after the base authorities received an anonymous tip-off several days later, on September 26.

It took the Navy a year to trawl through evidence and file charges against the suspects, with hearings on the case taking place this week. The hearing officer will decide whether the four men will be court-martialed or tried in a civilian court.

Two of the accused sailors are assigned to USS Nebraska, an Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine. One of them is accused of failure to report a crime and engaging in a sexual act with a minor during a three-day period, between September 19 and September 21.

One defendant has been serving at USS Henry M. Jackson, another Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine. He faces charges of making child pornography.

The fourth officer is deployed to the Naval Submarine Support Center Bangor, a former marine base and now a part of the Kitsap-Bangor base.

The scene of the alleged crimes, Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor, is the third largest US Navy base and features one of its four nuclear shipyards as well as one of two strategic nuclear weapons facilities. The base provides support for ballistic missile fleet and nuclear submarines, as well as surface ships.

Instances of sex crimes involving children are not uncommon among Navy officers. In August, a court-martial trial began for an officer who was accused of four counts of sexual assault of a child between 12 and 16 at Virginia’s Langley Air Force Base in September last year. Ensign Kevin Ortiz also faced the charge of attempting to molest a girl by sending her lewd text messages.

In August, USS Ronald Reagan sailor Gilbert Sandoval was convicted of attempted sexual assault on a child, attempted sexual abuse of a child, attempted production of pornography and related charges. Sandoval was sentenced to three years in jail.

In a recent report by the Pentagon’s RAND Corporation, Navy ships and training bases were named as carrying the highest risk of sexual misconduct, in particular, to young female service members.

Texas CPS Worker Arrested For Soliciting Sex
with 14-Year-Old Boy
BY KATIE PAULSON

Child Protection Services works to keep children safe from abuse and neglect. Workers help families and protect children from harmful environments. Generally, either CPS workers are hated and despised by families for separating parents from children, or they are loved for protecting children. Rarely do we hear of CPS workers breaking the law. However, a Texas CPS worker is in the news after his arrest for soliciting sex with an underage boy. Adrian Martinez, 44, was arrested as part of a sting done my multiple units in Tarrant County Texas.

Actually, Katie, it is not all that rare. There are, unfortunately, several stories on this blog about CPS workers abusing the very children they were responsible to protect. This is just how evil and insidious pedophilia is.

The online sting conducted by Tarrant County Sherriff’s office, Fort Worth Police, the Tarrant County Constable Precinct 2, and Texas DPS nabbed a total of 20 men. Officers posed as underage children online. Authorities say Martinez believed the boy he was speaking to was 14 years old.

Police arrested Martinez on Tuesday for soliciting sex from the minor child. Martinez was booked into Tarrant County Jail. His bail is set at $5,000. As of Friday, Martinez still remained in jail.

When his employer CPS found out about the charge, they made a statement regarding the arrest. CPS spokeswoman Marissa Gonzales confirmed Martinez’s employment with CPS. She confirmed his employment start date of May 2016.

Additionally, she wrote in a statement, “As soon as we became aware of the arrest of Adrian Martinez, he was removed from caseworker duties and placed on administrative leave. We are cooperating fully with law enforcement.”

Martinez working for CPS is a scary enough, but the statement also revealed he works as a conservator for children under state custody in Texas. His job entailed ensuring the children received proper care while under the state’s control.

Finally, CPS reassigned all of Martinez’s current cases to other workers.

Police say they arrested 13 other men. There are 6 arrest warrants that are still pending for the other men involved in the sting.

Tarrant County Sherriff Bill Waybourn told NBCDFW 5, “I shouldn’t be shocked at things but I do get shocked and surprised at the people who come in and the professions they represent. It’s scary and it’s very troubling at times that we have these folks out there who are child predators.”

Thankfully for this case, Martinez did not harm a child. However, due to his role within CPS, there is a potential for actual victims to come forward.

Western Wisconsin sheriff’s deputy charged
with child sexual assault
By MIKE LONGAECKER | Forum News Service

Prosecutors on Friday charged a Pierce County sheriff’s office deputy with multiple counts of child sexual assault.

St. Croix County District Attorney Michael Nieskes, serving as special counsel in the case of Allen J. Wojcik, charged the 31-year-old with two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child and two related counts. All four charges are felonies.

The sheriff’s office this week placed Wojcik on paid administrative leave. The allegations did not occur during the course of his work with the department.

A criminal complaint filed in the case states St. Croix County’s child protective services department on Tuesday alerted investigators in that county about a sexual abuse report involving a Pierce County deputy. The case was handled by St. Croix County to avoid any conflict of interest.

According to the complaint:

An investigator spoke with the female victim, who said Wojcik had abused her in either November or December of 2017.

The victim, who knows Wojcik, told investigators he had touched her sexually and briefly placed her hand on his genitals.

The girl said Wojcik later tried apologizing to her and told her “we were both in the wrong,” the complaint states. He told her not to tell anyone about it, the girl reported.

The victim’s mother later learned about the incident and confronted Wojcik about it.

Investigators met with Wojcik on Wednesday in River Falls and apprised him of the allegations. He “adamantly” denied the allegations, the complaint states. He said he “would never have done anything like that,” according to the charging document.

An investigator asked him about a letter related to the allegations, at which point Wojcik requested an attorney.

No court date in the case has been set.

PARKER — A former youth pastor at a Parker church will spend seven years in prison for using his position to have sexual relationships with girls in his youth group, according to a release from the district attorney's office.

Joshua Mark Clemons, 35, was sentenced last week to four years in the Colorado Department of Corrections followed by 10 years of sex offender intensive supervised probation in the Parker case. Clemons’ plea agreement calls for three years in a related Denver case.

Clemons lived in Denver when he was employed by the Crossroads Church on Twenty Mile Road in Parker between 2008 and 2015

During that time, he engaged in sex abuse with at least three of his students and inappropriate behavior with others, a 39-page arrest affidavit alleges.

One girl, who was 17 at the time, told Parker Police that Clemons used his position as youth pastor to manipulate her and get close to her, the DA's office said. The mother of another girl told police Clemons is “a master manipulator not only of students, but adults, as well.”

Clemons pleaded guilty July 23 in the Parker case to one count of sexual exploitation of a child, a Class 4 felony; and one count of attempted sex assault on a child by one in a position of trust, a Class 5 felony. Other charges were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

Clemons will be sentenced in the Denver case next month. His 4-year sentence in the Parker case will run consecutively with the 3-year sentence he faces in Denver.
