Approaching Sodom > Russia - The only country retreating from Sodom; Canada's Drag Queens getting resistance - not from press

..

While western governments, NATO, and media do their utmost to demonize Russia - some of which is deserved, Russia's stand against LGBTQ, paedophilia, and child transgenderism would make it appear to be more of a Christian country than any country in the west. Curious, eh?

Putin signs law expanding restrictions on gay 'propaganda',

banning any information considered to 'promote homosexuality'

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law that significantly expands restrictions on gay 'propaganda', banning activities and information considered to promote LGBT rights in the country.

A 2013 law banned what authorities deem to be spreading 'propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations' to minors. The new law expands that ban to spreading such information to people aged 18 and older.

The new law outlaws advertising, media and online resources, books, films and theatre productions deemed to contain such 'propaganda'.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law that significantly expands restrictions on gay 'propaganda'. Pictured, Putin delivering a speech during the #WeAreTogether volunteer forum at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow, Russia, December 5, 2022

It also broadens the existing restrictions by banning information about gender transitions to be spread to minors and bans information deemed to be propaganda promoting paedophilia.

Violations are punishable by fines and, if committed by non-residents, could lead to their expulsion from Russia.

The fines range from 100,000 roubles (£1,300) to 4 million roubles (£52,000). For some violations, foreigners could face 15 days' detention prior to expulsion.

The law does not make violations a criminal offence — Russian law stipulates that the criminal code can be amended only through an independent Bill. Some politicians have suggested they favour such a measure.

Authorities have already used the existing law to stop gay pride marches and detain gay rights activists.

in Saint Petersburg, Russia, August 3, 2019

The Kremlin did not immediately announce Putin's signature on Monday, but it was shown on a copy of the measure published on the website of the Duma, the lower house of parliament.

It comes as the Kremlin exerts increased pressure on minority groups and opponents of Putin at home, quashing independent media groups and further stifling free speech as Moscow ramps up a decade-long campaign to promote what it says are 'traditional' values.

Rights groups say the new law is intended to drive so-called 'non-traditional' LGBT lifestyles led by lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people out of public life altogether.

Rushing by in the direction of Sodom is Canada and its far-left government and media.

Guelph drag queen sees all-ages shows targeted by social media campaigns

A Guelph drag queen's event was cancelled last month as a result of threats

A Guelph drag queen says their shows are being targeted by two Ontario-based social media campaigns, resulting in the cancellation of one event and the performer feeling uneasy about an upcoming show.

Last month, Crystal Quartz had a drag brunch organized at Kelseys Original Roadhouse in Burlington. But following threats made to the restaurant, management was forced to cancel, the restaurant confirmed to CBC Kitchener-Waterloo. Restaurant management couldn't disclose information about these threats due to an ongoing police investigation.

Since then, a link to Quartz's Dec. 11 all-ages brunch at a Boston Pizza in Hamilton was shared in a Facebook group, asking members to purchase tickets to sell out the event in a bid to prevent "sick parents" from bringing their kids.

These incidents come shortly after a mass shooting at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colo., that killed five people, and have left Quartz feeling unsafe.

The drag queen posted an impassioned video on social media about the anti-LGBTQ threats that they, and other performers and promoters, have received.

Note: The Club Q mass shooting was committed by a non-binary man, not a right-wing lunatic.

Crystal Quartz is now raising funds to help enhance security at the shows. (Submitted by Crystal Quartz)

Guelph Police Services are investigating the alleged incidents Quartz brought up in the video.

In the meantime, Quartz told CBC News they're raising funds for an ID scanner and self-defence classes, and said that they're looking into other security options.

"I want to get an ID scanner so that even if the people come in there, we know what their names are at least," Quartz said.

'It was absolutely terrifying'

Hamilton drag performer Hexe Noire was also confronted during a drag storytime last month at a public library in the city.

There were people protesting the event, but also counter-protesters with a heavy police presence — something Noire hadn't seen before.

"This is the first time in my drag career that I've been affected directly by this," Noire, a cis woman, told CBC News. "It was absolutely terrifying."

Hexe Noire has done many drag storytimes across Hamilton, including at Hamilton Public Library's Binbrook branch on Nov. 14. (Aura CarreƱo Rosas/CBC)

Noire explained she received online threats as well.

"I'm a mother with four children who goes into the library dressed as a drag clown to teach children about diversity and that it's OK to be different," she said.

"Had I had a program such as this for myself as a young queer child, I would have flourished, and I don't understand what the issue with reading books to children is."

Quartz said that this type of harassment is new as the LGBTQ community becomes more visible and more mainstream.

"Before we were hiding who we were, right? So now we're being seen more and these people just, they don't want anything to do with that," Quartz said.

"And that's fine. If you don't like me, that's cool. Just go on your merry way and I'll go on mine, right?"

Except, you keep showing up in restaurants and libraries where children are present. You go your way, I'll go mine is the way it was before you came bursting out of your closets.

But this harassment isn't just aimed at drag queens, according to K-W-based trans activist Cait Glasson. The transgender community is being targeted, too.

"They're definitely well and truly emboldened, the transphobic people," Glasson said. "They are very emboldened. I get threats on my Twitter with some regularity.

"My personal belief is that the best way to fix it is education," she said, stressing that understanding about the trans community comes from knowing someone who is trans.

A study of LGBTQ people in Waterloo Region carried out in 2018 found that 10 per cent of those surveyed have experienced violence due to their sexual orientation; 26 per cent faced violence due to their gender identity.

There is no excuse for committing acts of violence against drag queens, trans people, or anyone else with the possible exception of paedophiles. Intelligent, organized campaigns can be effective without violence.

LGBTQ and drag queen outreach programs do put our children in danger. They turn them against the Bible, and ultimately God, but threats and violence are not the answer. You can't bring people to Jesus by acting like the devil. Neither will you get the help of God in your actions.

Man who jumped to death at Disneyland was principal

accused of child endangerment

By Lee Brown
December 5, 2022 11:47am  Updated

A man who jumped to his death at Disneyland was a school principal due in court Monday on child endangerment and battery charges — which he blasted in a social-media suicide note.

The jumper was identified by authorities as Christopher Christensen, 51, who had been the principal of Huntington Beach elementary schools for 22 years, the Los Angeles Daily News reported.

Court records show that he was due in court for a pre-trial conference hearing Monday for the two misdemeanor charges — which he directly blamed for his suicide in a lengthy Facebook post just before he leaped from the Mickey & Friends parking garage.

“I hate when people leave this Earth with so many unanswered questions. So, I hope this provides some insight and perspective,” the proud one-time “administrator of the year” told his Facebook friends in a calm tone.

Christopher Christensen, 51, blasted the charges he faced in an online note just before his suicide at Disneyland Saturday.
Facebook/Christopher Christensen

In the note, he introduced friends to “my wife, Marlena,” writing: “Yes, you heard me correctly. Most of you don’t know this but we privately married 3 ½ years ago.

“Marlena and I love and adore each other and our relationship has been amazing … up until recently,” he wrote alongside photos of them on their wedding day.

“Unfortunately, two weeks ago she and I got into a heated argument at home in front of the girls,” he explained, admitting that “tempers were flared and strong words were exchanged.”

“However, never in this exchange did I hit, slap, or hurt Marlena in any manner. Nor did I ever touch the girls (I never have and never will),” he stressed, saying he loved the girls “like my own.”

“Unfortunately, Marlena’s anger got the best of her that night and she called the police, which landed me in jail that night. Yes, me! A man who has never hit or harmed ANYONE in his life!” he wrote.

Lots of questions here: Why was the marriage kept secret from his friends? Some pedophiles will go to the extreme of marrying a woman in order to get access to her kids. Was this such a case? Why, if he was innocent would he commit suicide rather than fighting to clear his name?

There is more on this story, including the suicide note, in the NY Post.

Colorado Club Q non-binary shooting suspect hit with 305 charges

Anderson Lee Aldrich, the gunman accused of killing five people and injuring 25 more at a Colorado Springs gay club last month, is facing a staggering 305 charges.

Appearing in person at court Tuesday morning for the first time since being arrested, Aldrich, 22, sat alongside their public defender as the state prosecution presented their case.

Non-Binary

In addition to charges for first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder, Aldrich faces a smattering of first- and second-degree assault charges and “many counts of bias-motivated crimes.”

Aldrich, who identifies as non-binary, allegedly opened fire at Club Q in Colorado Springs on the night of Nov. 19. They continued shooting for six minutes, at which point they were tackled and beaten by patrons.

Help me out here - how does a 'non-binary' person become 'biased' to the point of mass murder toward gays and lesbians?

Five people were killed, including bartenders Daniel Davis Aston, 28, and Derrick Rump.

Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, is accused of killing five and injuring 25 during the Nov. 19 shooting.

“I thought it was the music, so I kept dancing,” survivor Joshua Thurman told reporters of the horrifying scene. “Then I heard another set of shots and then me and a customer ran to the dressing room, got on the ground, locked the doors and called the police immediately.

“There were bodies on the ground, blood, broken glass, broken cups and outside it was worse,” he said.

Aldrich was arrested at the scene, and has been ordered held without bond.

A Mad-Man's Pedigree

The estranged child of MMA fighter-turned-porn actor Aaron Brink, Aldrich is also the maternal grandchild of Randy Voepel, an outgoing California GOP state assemblyman who made headlines when he compared the Jan. 6 riot to the American Revolution.

Both Aldrich and their mother, Laura Voepel, have a history of run-ins with the law. The day after the shooting, Voepel was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Voepel, 45, was allegedly warned “multiple times” at her home to “stop yelling” or she would be arrested for disorderly conduct, a summons cited by KDVR says.

A police officer said Voepel became combative and physically resisted when she was placed under arrest at about 3:30 a.m. Nov. 20. She was charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, an “unclassified petty offense.”

Voepel also had previous run-ins with the law, including involving three outstanding warrants for her arrest in California.

Meanwhile, in court Tuesday, the state’s counsel warned that the case against Aldrich was “voluminous,” and that the prosecution may continue to amend charges in the coming weeks.

Bangladesh horror: 3 men gang-rape a Hindu woman

& send the video to her son’s mobile phone

December 4, 2022
Ratri Bose

Three men – Asad Miah, Milon Miah & Kulu Miah – gang-raped a Hindu housewife, a mother of 2 children, after calling her on the pretext of sewing a quilt. The shocking incident took place in Aditmari upazila of Lalmonirhat district in northern Bangladesh, Bengali language national daily Daily Janakantha reported on November 20.

As per the report, the rapists recorded a video of their crime. Then they sent the video to the eldest son of the victim, and threatened to post it on social media if any legal complaint was lodged against them.

However, the victim’s husband filed a complaint that same night with the local police station. Villagers also protested, demanding exemplary punishment to the rapists.

Yet, seven days later, locals allege that Aditmari Police hasn’t taken any action against the 3 accused. Moreover, bricks are being thrown at the victim’s house every night to intimidate them into withdrawing the complaint.

The helpless Hindu family has sought Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s intervention.

This special kind of madness is not restricted to Muslims, but they are certainly more vulnerable to it than any other major demographic.

Neelam Yadav
stabbed and butchered by Shakeel Miyan in Bhagalpur, Bihar

In a brutal incident, a 42-year-old married woman named Neelam Yadav was stabbed and chopped into pieces in broad daylight in the middle of a market area on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Neelam Yadav was a resident of Chhoti Deilori falling under the limits of the Pirpainti police station in Bhagalpur, Bihar. She was mercilessly killed by a person named Sheikh Shakeel Miyan.

According to reports, the accused brutally stabbed the woman to death and cut off her hands, legs, ears and breasts before fleeing the crime scene. It is being said that Shakeel was miffed after Neelam Yadav’s husband had forbidden him from visiting their house. Shakeel Miyan was so enraged by this that he attacked his friend’s wife when she was returning home from the busy market area on Saturday.

Shakeel first struck Neelam Yadav on the back of the head. When she collapsed, he stabbed her numerous times in the head, back, and stomach with a sharp weapon. He then cut Neelam’s Yadav ears, hands, legs, and breasts off before running away.

When bystanders saw her writhing in pain, they lifted her up and took her to a nearby sub-divisional hospital from where she was referred to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical Hospital, but Neelam Yadav succumbed to her injuries during the treatment. However, before her death, Neelam Yadav revealed the identity of the perpetrator.

Some villagers who recognised her, informed her husband, Ashok Yadav, and the Pirpainti police station chief Ramkumar Prasad about the incident. On getting the information, Ramkumar Prasad immediately reached the spot with his team and sent Neelam Yadav’s body for post-mortem. A case was registered and a manhunt was initiated to nab the perpetrator.

According to the deceased’s husband, his and the accused Shakeel Miyan’s fields were adjacent to each other, which is why Shakeel Miyan frequented his residence. Ashok Yadav suspected Shakeel Miyan of having evil intentions toward his wife. He also said that Shakeel was hot-headed and often indulged in unnecessary arguments and fights with the villagers, therefore he asked him to stop visiting his home. This enraged Shakeel, who then carried out the heinous act.

The Bhagalpur police, meanwhile, has detained 5 people including Shakeel Miyan’s brother for questioning while the latter is still at large.

Indonesia passes controversial criminal code that bans

sex outside marriage

Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Indonesian lawmakers on Tuesday passed a controversial sweeping new criminal code that criminalizes sex outside of marriage, disseminating so-called fake news and attacking the "honor or dignity" of the president or vice president.

The criminal code consists of more than 600 articles, and was passed during a House of Representatives' plenary session Tuesday despite strong opposition from human rights and free speech advocates.

Deputy House Speaker Lodewijk F. Paul attempted to temper unrest on Tuesday remarking after the bill was passed that "if there is dissatisfaction of course there are legal steps that can be taken."

"Tell the Constitutional Court," he said in a statement, while asking the public to "let this process continue."

Paul defended the bill, saying it's more inline with Indonesian culture and law than its previous code, which was developed under Dutch colonial rule that lasted from 1816 to the early 1940s.

"We have a new law based on Indonesian conditions, because the law that we have adhered to so far is a law that still adheres to the law passed by the Dutch East Indies," he said.

A coalition of Indonesian journalist organizations were among those who warned that the new code would have a chilling effect on society, stating that at least 19 articles in the new code have the potential to hinder their work.

Lucky Ireeuw, AJI chairman for the city of Jayapura, the capital of Papua Province, said they reject the code's ratification on the grounds that it will stifle free speech by making journalists fearful of being sent to jail for doing their job.

"This regulation will hinder press freedom in the midst of a democracy," Ireeuw said in a statement.

Along with criminalizing sex outside of marriage with up to a year in prison, the new code also penalizes those who attack the honor or dignity of the president and vice president with a maximum sentence of three years behind bars.

Those who broadcast or disseminate news or information they know to be false and which results in unrest can be sentenced to a maximum prison term of six years while those who publish news "reasonably suspected" to be "a hoax" are to be punished for up to four years.

OMGosh, if that were passed in America the entire news media would be wiped out.

Andreas Harsono, an Indonesia researcher with Human Rights Watch, said the new laws are "a setback for already declining religious freedom in Indonesia," the world's fourth largest democracy and home to the planet's largest Muslim population.

I am hard-pressed to see how this affects religious freedom other than freedom of speech which affects everyone.

"The danger of oppressive laws is not that they'll be broadly applied, it's that they provide avenue for selective enforcement," he said.

Shania Twain used to ‘flatten’ her boobs to protect herself

from stepfather’s abuse

Country singer Shania Twain revealed Sunday that she used to flatten her boobs in her childhood home to avoid being sexually abused by her stepfather, Jerry Twain.

The 57-year-old singer said that Jerry Twain would allegedly physically and emotionally abuse her while she lived in the house, reports The Sunday Times.

I'm sure she didn't say that he would 'allegedly' abuse her. There's no need to insert 'allegedly' into a quote.

“I hid myself and I would flatten my boobs. I would wear bras that were too small for me, and I’d wear two, play it down until there was nothing girl about me,” said the “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” singer.

“Make it easier to go unnoticed. Because, oh my gosh, it was terrible — you didn’t want to be a girl in my house.”

Twain — who began her performance career at the age of eight — said she struggled with embracing her femininity due to the abuse.

The “You’re Still the One” singer first detailed the hardships in her 2011 autobiography “From this Moment.”

In the book, Twain details how there were times when she had to physically step between her parents because she was afraid that her stepfather might kill her mother.

Beth Gwinn/Redferns

“It took a long time to manage that anger. You don’t want to be somebody that attacks me on the street,” said Twain. ‘”Because I will f–king rip your head off if I get the chance.”

Might still be just a little anger remaining!

Twain’s parents died when the singer was 22, and the singer spent many more years learning to love her body.

“I could speak and tell a story about myself, by the way I moved my body, the drape of the fabrics, the colours, where the focus was,” explained Twain.

“I was never an exhibitionist for the sake of, like, saying, you know, ‘Look at my tits.’ It was really me coming into myself. It was a metamorphosis of sorts.”

The Post reached out to Twain for comment.

Maj.-Gen. Dany Fortin not guilty of 1988 sexual assault, judge rules

Maj.-Gen. Dany Fortin, the former head of Canada’s COVID-19 vaccine campaign, has been found not guilty of sexual assault, a judge has ruled.

Fortin, who has maintained his innocence, was charged with one count of sexual assault by Quebec prosecutors last year. Judge Richard Meredith delivered the verdict Monday afternoon in Gatineau, Que. There was no jury in the trial, which began in September and wrapped up in October.

The complainant in the case, who was attending military college with Fortin in 1988 in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que., testified at the trial that she woke up one night in her dorm room to find a man masturbating himself using one of her hands, while another hand was on her breast.

A publication ban protects her name and any details that could identify her.

She alleged during the trial Fortin was the perpetrator “without a doubt.” In the Crown prosecutor’s closing statement, Diane Legault argued there was no reason to believe the complainant would have forgotten, or become mistaken about the identity of her aggressor in the years since the alleged incident.

The complainant testified she was aware of how such complaints were handled by the Canadian Armed Forces at the time, and that knowledge deterred her from wanting anyone to know what happened. It was only after she had retired and no longer feared career repercussions that she brought the alleged incident forward in 2021, the prosecutor said.

Fortin’s defence lawyer, Isabel Schurman, had asked the judge for an acquittal. She said that the complainant’s testimony lacked credibility, and that other witnesses had failed to back up some of the details of her story.

A key point for the defence was that while the complainant said she told her ex-boyfriend about the incident right afterward, he told the court he had no memory of the conversation.

Fortin, who was removed from his position in charge of the COVID-19 vaccine campaign in May 2021 due to an investigation into the allegation, is separately challenging that dismissal in the Federal Court of Canada.

Wolves Among the Sheep > Matt Chandler Returns to Pulpit in Texas Megachurch

..

Megachurch Pastor Matt Chandler set to return from 3-month leave

over inappropriate messages

By Anugrah Kumar,
Christian Post Contributor

Texas megachurch Pastor Matt Chandler will return to the pulpit Sunday, about three months after taking a leave of absence from his role as teaching pastor due to inappropriate social media messages with a woman who is not his wife.

In an email sent to congregants this week, elders at The Village Church in Flower Mound announced that Chandler will return to preaching as the church celebrates its 20th anniversary.

"We asked a lot of Matt, including time spent in study and prayer, personal reflection, and multiple intensives with trusted outside experts. Matt has completed everything asked of him with submissiveness, steadfastness, and humility, and we have received positive feedback from all involved," the elders wrote in an email, a copy of which was shared by The Roys Report.

What about God? Was He personally involved? Did you get feedback from Him?

As The Christian Post reported, Chandler announced in August that he accepted a decision by the elder board for him to take a leave of absence for engaging in inappropriate Instagram messaging, which was neither sexual nor romantic, with a woman in the church.

The elders said in this week's email they had been "encouraged by his posture throughout."

"Therefore, we are pleased to share with you that his return to preaching is scheduled for this Sunday, December 4," the email reads.

"Although we did not work toward this date as a target for Matt's return, we did not think it was appropriate to delay Matt's return to avoid it falling on the anniversary."

The Village Church elders said in an August statement that Chandler voluntarily disclosed the inappropriate Instagram messages after a friend of the woman confronted him about his behavior in the church's foyer several months ago.

The friend of the woman who confronted him disclosed the matter in the church foyer. How can you then say that Chandler voluntarily disclosed the matter?

Global church planting network Acts 29, where Chandler served as the president and chairman of their board, also asked him "to step aside from Acts 29 speaking engagements" following the decision by The Village Church.

Chandler, who maintained he wasn't aware at the time that he had "done anything wrong," said he alerted Josh Patterson and elder Chairman Jasien Swords and "submitted to their leadership in addressing the situation." He also informed his wife.

"I didn't think I had done anything wrong in that," Chandler told the congregation in August. "My wife knew that. Her [the woman's] husband knew that. And yet there were a couple of things that she said that were disorienting to me."

This sounds a little like victim blaming.

The Village Church elders commissioned an independent law firm, identified by The New York Times as, CastaƱeda and Heidelman, to investigate Chandler's messaging history across social media platforms, cell phone and email.

They concluded that Chandler "violated our internal social media use policies, and more importantly that, while the overarching pattern of his life has been 'above reproach,' he failed to meet the 1 Timothy standard for elders of being 'above reproach' in this instance."

The elders also said the lead pastor's leave of absence "is both disciplinary and developmental" to allow him time "to focus on growing greater awareness in this area."

In October, Chandler hinted that he would likely return to the pulpit "soon" and was "eager to return."

Chandler wrote on Instagram at the time that he had become "more aware than ever of that earnest and angsty prayer of David's in Psalm 27:4," which says: "One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple."

In an Instagram post on Friday, Chandler recalled his two-decade history with The Village Church.

"Over the past 20 years I have watched God do INCREDIBLE things almost all of which were despite me," Chandler wrote. "I survived a bout with brain cancer in 2009, needed to publicly repent more than once and have been loved deeply and cared for fiercely by the men and women of The Village. I am at a loss for the invitation into this great journey the Lord put me on!"

It would be nice if there was some indication of the effects this has all had on the woman involved, but there is hardly any mention of her. As is far too often the case, the consideration is for the pastor and the 'victim' (if that's an appropriate term here) is largely ignored.

George Soros' America > LA's Soros-funded DA makes mockery of justice - puts kids in danger

Transgender woman brags about light sentence for molesting child

A transgender woman in Los Angeles gloated in a recorded jailhouse telephone call that she would be let off easy for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl – a prediction that proved true when she was sentenced last month.

The recordings, which were obtained by Fox News, caught 26-year-old Hannah Tubbs boasting in November phone calls with her father that she wouldn’t have to go back to prison under the policies of Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon. Tubbs also made explicit remarks about the young victim, talking about her sexual attraction to the girl.

“I’m gonna plead out to it, plead guilty,” Tubbs said in one call. “They’re gonna stick me on probation, and it’s gonna be dropped, it’s gonna be done. I won’t have to register [as a sex offender], won’t have to do nothing.”

The case in question concerned a 2014 assault by Tubbs – who was then named James and identified as a male – in the women’s restroom of a Denny’s restaurant. Tubbs, who was two weeks shy of turning 18 at the time of the incident, only began identifying as a woman after being arrested for the assault eight years later.

The prediction of a light sentence came true in June, when Tubbs was spared incarceration in adult prison. Gascon’s office refused to prosecute Tubbs as an adult, in accordance with the DA’s progressive policies. She was sentenced to two years in juvenile detention, which reportedly could mean being released in six months. Tubbs also correctly predicted that she wouldn’t have to register as a sex offender, despite having committed other offenses since the assault at Denny’s.

In one of her jailhouse calls, Tubbs admonished the caller to refer to her with female pronouns in court. She said she would seek assignment to a female prison if she were incarcerated.

The victim told Fox News it was “insulting” and “unfair” to prosecute Tubbs as a female and a juvenile, “seeing how he clearly didn’t act like one” during the sexual assault. “The things he did to me and made me do that day was beyond horrible for a 10-year-old girl to have to go through,” she said, adding that the light sentence gave her “no true justice.”

Gascon, who was elected in 2020 with the help of $2.5 million in campaign funding from billionaire activist George Soros, said on Sunday that he would have handled the Tubbs case differently had he known of the defendant’s disregard for the harm she caused. However, media reports indicated that Gascon’s office was well aware of the jailhouse recordings.

“We do not always get it right, as no one can, but we do believe that our fundamental beliefs are the right ones,” Gascon said.

With the DA facing a potential recall vote over his allegedly soft-on-crime policies, his office last week told staffers that there could be rare exceptions to his rules, including his ban on trying juveniles in adult court. Contrary to Sunday’s statement by Gascon, his office said the easing of policies was unrelated to the controversial Tubbs case.

Sounds to me like Gascon has little regard for the truth along with all his other faults.

Soros bankrolled Colombian LGBT group backing prostitution

that received Biden administration grant

A Biden administration-backed LGBT nonprofit group in Colombia that calls for the expansion of "sex worker" rights in the crime-ridden country has raked in thousands of dollars from left-wing billionaire George Soros, records show.

In September, the State Department awarded $16,000 in taxpayer dollars to Fundacion Sentiido, which engages in prostitution advocacy, the Washington Examiner reported. That same organization, which is based in Bogota, Colombia, has also received almost $122,000 from Soros's Open Society Foundations, a top liberal grant-maker, records show.

Sentiido trains Colombians on "gender, sexual diversity, and social change"
and publishes articles on LGBT issues, its website shows. The State Department grant to Sentiido, which began disbursing in October, was to "provide tools, resources, and opportunities to support journalists and activists in Colombia and in Latin America" so they can gain a better understanding of the "use of disinformation and gender restrictive narratives against LGBTIQ and women's rights," according to the agency.

Does that mean rewarding LGBTQ-friendly journalists financially?

An unnamed State Department spokesperson previously told the Washington Examiner that the Sentiido grant was "in support of American values," noting, "U.S. citizens benefit from a world that is safer and more prosperous for all."

Sentiido received OSF grants in 2017, 2019, and 2020, according to the OSF's database. The grants came from the group's affiliated Open Society Policy Center, as well as the Foundation to Promote Open Society, according to the database.

The 2017 grant was for "building bridges between sexual diversity and religion," and the grant in 2019 was "to support creation of audiovisual content, interviews, and workshops meant to promote an understanding of and campaigning against the so-called 'gender ideology' in Latin America," records show.

In 2020, Sentiido received money from the OSF "to support the grantee's work to engage in media analysis and narrative change related to gender, sexuality, and COVID response," records show.

"By combining rigorous research with our passion for creativity and innovation and our strong belief in knowledge sharing through capacity development, Sentiido builds bridges, tells stories, opens discussions, changes conversations, and provides knowledge for the advancement of LGBTIQ and women's rights in the region," a spokesperson for Sentiido told the Washington Examiner.

"At Sentiido, we feel proud to be supported by Open Society Foundations to promote social change and more inclusive and respectful societies," the spokesperson added.

Respectful, godless societies!!!

One congressman, however, told the Washington Examiner it is "incomprehensible" the State Department would use tax dollars to fund Sentiido.

"In a Republican House majority, we will rein in wasteful government spending, especially to countries who do not share our American values," Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) told the Washington Examiner.

Sentiido has engaged in prostitution advocacy since at least 2014, the Washington Examiner reported. On Nov. 3, the group hosted a webinar titled "Stand in my corner: trans-feminism and sex worker rights activism," which was hosted by three prostitutes.

Like other South American countries, Colombia has not outlawed prostitution. Its government has also failed to "proactively investigate, prosecute, or convict cases of forced labor," and armed organizations often make women and young girls do "webcam modeling" and drug them so they can have sexual relations, the State Department said in a 2021 report.

Out of 142 countries, Colombia ranks 27th on the global crime index, a database tracking crime levels by assigning countries scores in the range of zero to 100. Colombian children are at solid risk of being forced into prostitution, the U.S. government has found in the past.

Sentiido, though, has slammed the Colombian police's efforts to regulate prostitution and boosted "webcam sex work," claiming the practice guards prostitutes from "economic exploitation." The organization has also promoted a variety of COVID-19 "emergency funds" for people to donate to prostitutes and pro-prostitution groups.

"Fanatical, woke organizations like Fundacion Sentiido shouldn't be propped up with American taxpayer dollars, and they certainly shouldn't be using those dollars to promote prostitution, radical gender indoctrination for children, and all manner of depravity abroad," Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), who sits on the influential House Judiciary Committee, previously told the Washington Examiner.

Recent stories of Soros' death are, unfortunately, not true.

Star of That '70s Show charged with raping 3 women,

will face retrial in March

A judge declared a mistrial Wednesday at the rape trial of That '70s Show actor Danny Masterson after jurors, who were leaning strongly toward acquitting him, were deadlocked following the month-long trial in which the Church of Scientology played a supporting role.

Masterson, 46, was charged in Los Angeles Superior Court with the rape of three women, including a former girlfriend, in his Hollywood Hills home between 2001 and 2003. He pleaded not guilty and his lawyer said the acts were all consensual. All three women were members of the church at the time, and Masterson remains one.

"I find the jurors hopelessly deadlocked," Judge Charlaine Olmedo declared after inquiring whether there was anything the court could do to move them closer to reaching a unanimous decision. She set a March date for a retrial.

Olmedo had ordered jurors to take Thanksgiving week off and keep deliberating after they said on Nov. 18 that they could not reach a consensus. The jury began deliberations anew Monday after two alternates replaced jurors who had COVID-19.

Jurors said they had voted seven times Tuesday and Wednesday without being able to reach consensus on any of the three counts.

The jury foreman said only two jurors voted for conviction on the first count, four voted for conviction on the second count and five voted to convict on the third count.

The result was a serious setback for prosecutors, and for the three women who said they were seeking long overdue justice.

Two of the alleged victims in the case issued a statement saying they were disappointed "Masterson has evaded criminal accountability for his deplorable acts. However, we are collectively resolved to continue our fight for justice."

Two of the women and the husband of one are suing Masterson, the Church of Scientology, its leader David Miscavige and others for allegedly stalking, harassing and intimidating them after they sought to expose Masterson.

Masterson left court with his wife, actor and model Bijou Phillips, without speaking to reporters.

The proceedings took place amid a flurry of cases on both coasts with #MeToo connotations, including the Los Angeles trial of Harvey Weinstein just down the hall from Masterson's. In New York, Kevin Spacey won a sexual misconduct conduct lawsuit brought by actor Anthony Rapp in New York, and a jury ordered director and screenwriter Paul Haggis to pay $10 million US in a civil case there.

Search this blog for any of these names for a number of stories about their perversions.

But at the Masterson trial, as at the Haggis trial, the #MeToo implications were largely eclipsed by Scientology, despite the judge's insistence that the church not become a de facto defendant.

Deputy District Attorney Reinhold Mueller said the church had tried to silence the women and that was the reason it took two decades for the case to get to trial.

Masterson attorney Philip Cohen said the church was mentioned 700 times during trial and argued that it became an excuse for the prosecution's failure to build a believable case against Masterson, a prominent Scientologist.

Cohen said he would file a motion to dismiss the case, based on the way the jury voted. He said jurors provided additional insights after the mistrial ruling that were helpful but wouldn't discuss what they told him.

Epstein estate to pay $105 million in Virgin Islands sex trafficking case

U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General Denise N. George announced Thursday that Jeffrey Epstein's estate will pay $105 million to settle a sex trafficking case. Photo courtesy Virgin Islands Attorney General's office.

Dec. 1 (UPI) -- The Jeffrey Epstein estate will pay the U.S. Virgin Islands more than $105 million in cash plus half of the proceeds from the sale of his private island toward the settlement of a sex trafficking and child exploitation case.

U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General Denise N. George said in a statement that Epstein controlled a criminal enterprise "through which dozens of young women and children were trafficked, raped, sexually assaulted, and held captive in the Virgin Islands at Epstein's secluded private island, Little St. James."

George announced Thursday that settlement of the 2020 case resolves only the claims against the Esptein estate and the co-defendants named in the government lawsuit.

The Epstein estate will also return more than $80 million in economic development tax benefits that the attorney general said "Epstein and his co-defendants fraudulently obtained to fuel his criminal enterprise."

Unbelievable!

"This settlement restores the faith of the People of the Virgin Islands that its laws will be enforced, without fear or favor, against those who break them. We are sending a clear message that the Virgin Islands will not serve as a haven for human trafficking," said George. "Through this lawsuit and settlement, the Attorney General's Office, acting on behalf of the Government, is using its authority to enforce the laws of the Virgin Islands against criminal enterprises and to protect public safety."

Epstein estate attorney Daniel Weiner said in a statement to NBC News that the settlement "does not include any admission or concession of liability or fault by the estate or any other parties, and the co-executors deny any allegations of wrongdoing on their part."

According to Weiner, 136 of Epstein's victims have been paid more than $121 million and the estate plans to "wind down" its remaining activities in the Virgin Islands.

George said the Epstein estate also agreed to pay $450,000 "to remediate environmental damage around Great St. James, another Epstein-owned island, where the government found that Epstein razed the remains of centuries-old historical structures of enslaved workers to make room for his development."

Epstein, a billionaire financier, died by suicide in federal prison in Manhattan where he was being held on sex trafficking charges.

I think the odds are greatly in favour of 'assisted suicide'. Assistance that Epstein didn't particularly want.

In June Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in Epstein's sex trafficking scheme.

Under the Virgin Island settlement terms, the Epstein estate will sell Little St. James and Great St. James islands to "independent third parties" and the proceeds from Little St. James island will go exclusively to a trust to help victims of sexual assault, human trafficking, sexual misconduct and child abuse.

George said during the sex trafficking investigation she met with young women who were trafficked and sexually exploited on Little St, James Island by Jeffrey Epstein.

"I listened to their chilling and horrific experiences at the hands of Epstein and his associates. Our work has been inspired, humbled, and fortified by the strength and courage of all of those who survived Epstein's abuse," George said in a statement. "I am grateful to Epstein's survivors and their attorneys for their cooperation throughout the investigation."

Ashanti reveals music producer once demanded shower sex:

‘It was wild’

By Adriana Diaz, NY Post
December 1, 2022 4:07pm  Updated

Ashanti appeared on “The Breakfast Club” radio show Thursday morning and revealed that a music producer once held two of her tracks ransom — insisting that she pay $40,000 per song or take a shower with him.

“I’ve been in a crazy situation with one producer,” the 42-year-old said, without naming the person. “I think I might have talked about this once.”

The singer-songwriter explained that she had been working with the anonymous music producer for several weeks after he offered to help produce the songs for free because she was a “homie.”

“We did two records together. He was like ‘OK, I’m not going to charge you. You’re my homie,'” she recalled.

“Then when it came time to put it on the album, he was like, ‘Let’s take a shower together.’ I thought he was joking,” she said. “He was like, ‘Nah, I’m dead serious. Let’s go out, let’s take a shower together and then I’ll give you the records. If not, I need 40 racks per record.'”

The Post has reached out to Ashanti’s reps for comment.

The R&B artist said she couldn’t believe what was happening at the time.

“I thought he was joking, because we had been working together for a couple weeks. But it turns out that he was serious. I had to make some phone calls and stuff was handled,” she said.

“It was wild,” Ashanti admitted.

This reminds me of the disturbing story of Aaliyah and R Kelly.

Ashanti appeared on “Red Table Talk” last week and revealed her sister was a victim of domestic abuse.

The musician was discovered when she was just a teenager and recorded her first songs when she was 20, later released by Murder Inc. She went on to become recognized as the princess of hip-hop soul and was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this year.

Her mom, Tina Douglas, has served as her manager for her entire career, and also popped into “The Breakfast Club” to confirm Ashanti’s outrageous story.

Ashanti did not name the alleged predatory producer but hinted at exposing him in the future in her memoir.

Last week, the singer appeared on “Red Table Talk” with her mom and sister Kenashia, who was a victim of domestic abuse, speaking about the “darkest time of their lives.”

“As the older sister who wants to protect my younger sister,” Ashanti said, “no one gets a book on how to handle this.”

AG Letitia James’ chief of staff Ibrahim Khan quits

while facing sex harassment complaints

NY Attorney General Letitia James’ chief of staff has resigned after being slapped with multiple sexual harassment complaints, which were filed before Election Day and kept quiet as James cruised to victory, sources told The Post.

The allegations against Ibrahim Khan, 38, are now being reviewed by an “outside law firm” according to a source briefed on the matter. Sources told The Post the AG’s office hired the firm shortly after the complaints were received.

Two women filed sexual harassment complaints against Khan – and one of those women was told her claims of inappropriate touching and unwanted kissing were substantiated, according to The New York Times.

A source briefed on the matter told The Post the allegations were provided “indirectly” to the AG’s office and “none of the allegations involve current employees.”

The AG’s Office didn’t deny that sexual harassment complaints have been filed against Khan, but declined to answer questions seeking additional information earlier this week.
