Scots sex predator who abused women and children
during 35 year reign of terror unmasked
Daily Record

A "depraved" sex beast who targeted women and children over a 35-year reign of terror can be unmasked today.

David Paterson
, 53, abused three women, two girls and a boy between 1983 and 2018.

The pervert hid his face as he was led away from Ayr Sheriff Court in handcuffs last week, after being given sentences totalling seven-and-a-half years for his crimes.

But we can now reveal his face, thanks to one of his victims - who spoke out about the case, and said she is worried he will strike again.

And the woman, and the other victims, have now been hailed by police for their courage and bravery in helping bring Paterson to justice.

The woman, who can't be named for legal reasons, said: "I'm glad he got a custodial sentence.

"But as David is a serial offender, my view is the sentence is too light. He started abusing people in the 1980s, right up to the late 2010s, both genders and all ages. He’s a danger to the public."

Paterson abused his victims at different addresses in Ayrshire, and, after abusing one girl, told her to keep it a secret.

The selfish sicko protested his innocence, forcing his victims to give evidence against him in two different Ayr Sheriff Court trials.

But he was convicted in both cases - and was slammed for protesting his innocence, before being placed on the Sex Offenders' Register for life.

7.5 years is not nearly long enough!

Bristol paedophile jailed for sexually abusing nine children
By Brad Young
Gazette

A “dangerous paedophile” from Bristol has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for multiple sex offences against children between 2017 and 2020.

Thomas Rawlings, aged 35, from Lockleaze in Bristol, pleaded guilty to 33 charges after grooming and exploiting nine children.

Among them, he incited a girl aged 13-14 to engage sexual activity, took and possessed indecent images of children, paid for sexual services from a child aged 16 – 17 and engaged in sexual communication with a child.

Rawlings lied to his victims about his age, making out he was up to 20 years younger than he really was and leading them to believe that they were in genuine relationships with him.

Sentencing, Judge Patrick said that Rawlings was a dangerous, obsessed and persistent paedophile who targets young people for sexual gratification and a feeling of power.

“You scared your child victims and caused them emotional torment. You ripped families apart. You have worsened the lives of the vulnerable. You have ruined trust. You have caused some to feel suicidal,” said the judge.

Rawlings, a Registered Sex Offender, was first convicted in 2012 on 15 counts of making indecent images of children between 2009 and 2011.

In November 2020 Rawlings was arrested on suspicion of causing or inciting the sexual exploitation of girls in connection with his relationship with four girls aged 14 – 16.

Following Rawlings’ arrest, a 17-year-old victim made contact with the police concerned for the welfare or her ‘boyfriend’ who she believed to be 20 years old at that time.

Her contact with him started when she was just 13 years old and Rawlings led her to believe that he was 14 years old at that time.

At first the contact was online, but this later progressed to physical meetings, with Rawlings travelling to various parts of the country and booking hotels for them to meet in, where Rawlings groomed and exploited her into a sexual relationship with him.

Unknown to the victim, Rawlings was also in a ‘relationship’ with another child who was 14 when he first made contact with her and who believed him to be 18 years old.

Creep! 12 years is not nearly long enough!

France’s most notorious serial virgin killer, ‘Ogre of the Ardennes’,
dies in jail at 79

Michel Fourniret has died in a Paris prison hospital after experiencing respiratory problems, the French authorities confirmed. He confessed to killing 11 young women between 1987 and 2003, many in partnership with his wife.

Fourniret passed away on Monday at the Pitie-Salpetriere secure inter-regional hospital unit (UHSI) in Paris, prosecutor Remy Heitz told reporters. He was admitted to the hospital on April 28 with “respiratory” difficulties. He was also dealing with heart problems and Alzheimer’s disease, according to the newspaper Le Parisien.

He was “hunting” for virgins to rape and kill

Over a period of 15 years, Fourniret had strangled, stabbed or shot at least 11 women across northern France and Belgium, aided by his lover and then-wife Monique Olivier. By his own admission, he was “hunting” for virgins to rape and kill.

He was first convicted of sexual assault in 1977, but given a suspended sentence. In 1984, he was actually jailed – and began a correspondence with Olivier while behind bars. They married in 1989. It was Olivier who eventually confessed the killing spree to the authorities, after a 13-year-old girl they attempted to kidnap successfully escaped in 2003. The pair were arrested in Belgium and extradited to France for their 2008 trial.

Their first victim was 17-year-old Isabelle Laville, who was drugged, raped and strangled in December 1987. Her body was thrown down a well, and wasn’t recovered until 2006. Their last known victim was nine-year-old Estelle Mouzin, who disappeared in January 2003; Olivier confirmed in August 2020 that the schoolgirl had been kidnapped, raped and killed, but her body was never found.

Remains of two of the victims were found in the gardens of Chateau du Sautou, an estate Fourniret and Olivier bought in Donchery. The money came from a cache of gold they helped retrieve in 1988, which had been buried in a cemetery by a gang of bank robbers. One of them shared a prison cell with Fourniret in 1987, and put him in touch with his wife, 30-year-old Farida Hammiche.

After Hammiche revealed the location of the loot and paid Fourniret and Olivier 500,000 francs for helping her dig it up, they strangled her and hid the body. They eventually confessed to the killing in 2018.

Fourniret was convicted of seven murders and given a life sentence without parole. He was given a second life sentence in 2018. Olivier was sentenced to life, with the possibility of parole after 28 years.

In addition to Laville, Mouzin and Hammiche, the known victims of Fourniret and Olivier were identified as Fabienne Leroy, Jeanne-Marie Desramault, Elisabeth Brichet, Natacha Danais, Celine Saison, Mananya Thumphong, Marie-Angele Domece, and Joanna Parrish.

Though several other French serial killers since WWII have claimed higher body counts, both the 'Monster of Montmartre' Thierry Paulin and 'Pillow Killer' Yvan Keller targeted elderly women, while Pierre Chanal went after young men. What made the French public especially sickened by the Fourniret case was the fact that Olivier knowingly aided him.

Ugly Ray: Paedophile, former DJ and friend of Jimmy Savile
dies in prison

Ray Teret, who was known as Ugly Ray, preyed on girls aged 13 to 15 in Manchester
in the 1960s and 1970s.

A radio DJ friend of Jimmy Savile has died in prison, seven years after being jailed for raping and assaulting teenage girls.

Ray Teret, an ex-Radio Caroline presenter from Altrincham, was mentored by paedophile broadcaster Savile in the early days of his career and was said to have followed him around "like a shadow". He also acted as his driver, according to reports.

A Prison Service spokesman said he died on Tuesday, aged 79.

"HMP Manchester prisoner Ray Teret died in prison on 5 May," a statement said. "The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman has been informed."

Teret, who was known as Ugly Ray, preyed on girls aged 13 to 15 in the 1960s and 1970s, using his status as a well-known face on the Manchester club scene.

He was jailed for 25 years in 2014 after a jury at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court convicted him of seven rapes and 11 indecent assaults in relation to 11 complainants.

The cause of his death has not been officially confirmed, although he previously fought off COVID-19 and had been suffering from cancer, according to the Manchester Evening News. His death has been passed to Manchester Coroner's Office.

During his trial, Teret, who also worked at Piccadilly Radio in Manchester and Staffordshire's Signal Radio, attempted to distance himself from Savile, who died in 2011.

He claimed they were not close, and said he had never lived with Savile or acted as his chauffeur.

At his sentencing, the judge told Teret: "It is clear that you exploited your celebrity status to sexually abuse young girls when they were between 13 and 15 years of age.

"Those who were raped had little or no understanding what was happening to them and felt they could do little to prevent the abuse taking place."

Internal Emails Reveal WHO Knew of Sex Abuse Claims in Congo
By Associated Press
May 11, 2021 06:43 PM

FILE - Reby hangs laundry outside her home in Beni, eastern Congo, May 1, 2021. Reby says Dr. Boubacar Diallo of the World Health Organization offered her money for sex.

BENI, CONGO - When Shekinah was working as a nurse's aide in northeastern Congo in January 2019, she said, she was offered a job from a World Health Organization doctor at double her salary — in exchange for sex.

Predators frequently take advantage of their victim's poverty, often proud of themselves for helping the family out financially.

"Given the financial difficulties of my family … I accepted," said Shekinah, 25, who asked that only her first name be used for fear of repercussions. She said the Canadian doctor, Boubacar Diallo, who often bragged about his connections to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, made the same proposition to several of her friends.

When a staffer and three Ebola experts working in Congo informed WHO management about sex abuse concerns regarding Diallo, they were told not to take the matter further, The Associated Press has found.

WHO has been facing widespread public allegations of systemic abuse of women by unnamed staffers, to which Tedros declared outrage and emergencies director Dr. Michael Ryan said, "We have no more information than you have." However, an AP investigation has now found that despite its public denial of knowledge, senior WHO management wasn't only informed of alleged sexual misconduct in 2019 but was asked how to handle it.

The AP has also for the first time tracked down the names of two doctors accused of sexual misconduct, Diallo and Dr. Jean-Paul Ngandu, both of whom were reported to WHO.

FILE - Anifa holds her phone, displaying a photo of former World Health Organization doctor Boubacar Diallo, of Canada, during an interview in the eastern Congo town of Goma, March 5, 2021.

Ngandu was accused by a young woman of impregnating her. In a notarized contract obtained by the AP, two WHO staffers, including a manager, signed as witnesses to an agreement for Ngandu to pay the young woman, cover her health costs and buy her land. The deal was made "to protect the integrity and reputation" of WHO, Ngandu said.

When reached by the AP, both Diallo and Ngandu denied wrongdoing. The investigation was based on interviews with dozens of WHO staffers, Ebola officials in Congo, private emails, legal documents and recordings of internal meetings obtained by the AP.

Eight top officials privately acknowledged WHO failed to effectively tackle sex abuse during the Ebola outbreak, according to emails, recordings of internal meetings, legal documents and interviews with dozens of aid workers and WHO staffers. WHO declined to comment on any specific sex abuse allegations or how they were managed and said it had taken steps to address the problem.

"We are aware that more work is needed to achieve our vision of emergency operations that serve the vulnerable while protecting them from all forms of abuse," WHO spokeswoman Marcia Poole said in an email.

WHO emergencies chief Dr. Michael Ryan acknowledged in internal meetings that sexual abuse problems during the agency's outbreak responses were unlikely to be exceptional.

"You can't just pin this and say you have one field operation that went badly wrong," he said. "This is in some sense the tip of an iceberg."

As WHO struggled to control spiraling Ebola cases in Congo in early 2019, emergency operations manager Dr. Michel Yao received an email with the subject line: "Private. Chat."

"We cannot afford to have people tarnishing the sweat and effort of individuals sacrificing themselves thru (sic) inappropriate sexual harassment and bullying," the staffer wrote, saying he was concerned about Diallo.

Yao responded that the matter would be handled, but the staffer said his concerns were dismissed. An internal WHO investigation failed to corroborate the charges, but those who complained about Diallo were not interviewed.

FILE - World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus arrives by helicopter at Ruhenda airport in Butembo, eastern Congo, June 15, 2019.

Diallo was described as a charismatic manager with connections to WHO's senior leaders, including director-general Tedros. On WHO's website, Tedros, Yao and Diallo are pictured smiling and bumping elbows during one of Tedros' 14 trips to Congo during the outbreak.

Diallo rejected claims of sexual misconduct.

"I have never offered a woman a job in exchange for sex and I have never sexually harassed a woman in my life," he told the AP.

In April 2019, Yao received another email detailing more alleged sexual misconduct, this time about the other doctor the AP tracked down, Ngandu.

"I hereby inform you that we have a colleague who has impregnated a girl from Beni," outbreak manager Mory Keita wrote to Yao. Keita told Yao a young woman and her aunt had come to Beni's Hotel Okapi looking for WHO managers, with two armed police officers. The woman's aunt said the young woman had been having an affair with Ngandu and was now pregnant.

They asked WHO to cover the cost of the woman's medical costs and for money to buy land, "given that Dr. Jean-Paul will abandon the girl and she will be obliged to raise her child alone."

Keita said he felt that Yao should be informed "so that you would give us your directions for how to better manage this problem."

One week after the email was sent, Ngandu signed a notarized contract confirming he would pay the young woman $100 a month until her baby was born, cover her pregnancy costs and buy her a plot of land. Keita and Achile Mboko, a WHO human resources staffer, signed as witnesses.

Ngandu said he wasn't the father of the baby and the deal was a "private matter." He said he agreed to it after his WHO colleagues, including Keita, "advised me to settle out of court to avoid sullying the reputation of the organization and myself." The young woman declined to talk to the AP.

It is unclear if Yao reported the abuse allegations to his superiors, as required by WHO protocol. He has since been promoted to be director of WHO Geneva's Strategic Health Operations Department.

On October 15, Tedros appointed an independent panel to investigate sex abuse during the Ebola outbreak in Congo; no findings are expected until the end of August. At a town hall meeting in November, Ryan acknowledged sex abuse issues had been "neglected" for years.

Back in Congo, Shekinah said she "couldn't count how many times" she had slept with WHO's Diallo after accepting a job for which she was not qualified.

"I wanted to quit. But because of my financial problems, I endured it," she said. Even after they separated, Shekinah said he continued to message her, asking her to send him nude pictures.

Diallo should be punished "for his sexual abuse of all those girls in Beni as a lesson to these international organizations that this should not happen again," she said. "I would like justice to be done."

Doctor apologizes for letting a registered sex offender into a retreat

Dr. Manuela Joannou has posted a public apology to participants in one of her therapy retreats.
(Laura Osman, CBC News)

Somewhere in Ontario - The doctor running Project Trauma Support now says she regrets her decision to allow a registered sex offender to peer mentor a group of sexual assault survivors with post traumatic stress disorder under her care.

Seven female first responders and Canadian Forces veterans shared their story publicly with CBC News yesterday. They said their trust was violated by Dr. Manuela Joannou because she failed to tell them their peer mentor recently had been convicted in two separate cases of sexual assault before attending the six-day trauma retreat in July 2018.

CBC News obtained an image of a statement posted by Joannou to Facebook on Wednesday apologizing to participants in her program.

"I am deeply saddened by the compounded hurt and pain that having a registered sex offender as a mentor on our program in 2018 has caused for so many people," Joannou wrote in the Facebook post.

"If I had a chance to do it all over again, this would not have happened. Did we make some errors in our early efforts? Undoubtedly, but it has shaped our awareness and our methods going forward."

The post comes a day after Joannou, in an exchange with CBC News, defended her actions and did not apologize for using retired Canadian Forces Major Jonathan Hamilton as a peer mentor at the retreat.

Retreat participants said they were upset that Joannou's public apology came after several major donors to the program — including the Mood Disorder Society of Canada and the Royal Canadian Legion — severed ties with her charity in the wake of CBC's report and said they would not be funding it in future.

Joannou said she started Project Trauma in 2015 as a suicide prevention program. CBC News spoke to a Canadian Forces member who said she became suicidal after taking part in the program.

There is more on this story on CBCNews.

Update: 16 May 2021 - Dr. Manuela Joannou announced on Saturday that she has stepped down as medical director of Project Trauma Support.

Paedophile teenager tried to 'cover his tracks' but
failed to hide his sick obsession
..
He downloaded images of toddlers being raped but walked free from court

liverpoolecho

A teenage paedophile tried to "cover his tracks" after downloading child rape photos at his parents' home.

Jordan Mitchell
, then 19, used specialist computer software in an attempt to keep his sick obsession a secret.

He also deleted the disturbing pictures of toddlers and infants being sexually abused after he had viewed them. But he failed to hide his identity completely and when police raided his home they found 427 indecent images.

Liverpool Crown Court heard police received intelligence that an IP address traced to Mitchell's home was being used to download indecent images. Derek Jones, prosecuting, said as a result officers raided Mitchell's family's address in Darmonds Green Avenue, Anfield on June 24 last year.

Mr Jones said: "He was in with his parents and the defendant indicated to the police that he knew why they were there."

Officers seized an iPhone and a desktop computer from his bedroom, with the majority of the illegal files being recovered from his mobile.

Mr Jones said: "The defendant was using what he now confirms in his interview was Tor browser to cover his tracks - a VPN. He was clearly accessing indecent images on websites, looking at the images and deleting them."

Tor browser software provides access to the 'Dark Web' and can also be used to hide online or other computer activity. Mr Jones said no record of online searches he had made were present on the devices.

However, he said it could be seen that the then teenager had visited websites with names referring to "Lolita" and "jail bait". He had 36 Category A - the most serious category showing child rape - 140 Category B and 251 Category C indecent images of children.

Mr Jones said the photos showed children "some as young as between two and four, five to six, six to seven". The prosecutor said: "He was interviewed by the police and full admissions were made by him to downloading the images. He accepted that he used Tor browser to try and cover his tracks when he was looking at these websites."

Mr Jones said sentencing guidelines suggested a starting point of 12 months' custody, with a sentencing range of 26 weeks to three years in custody, for the Category A files.

Mitchell, now 20, who has no previous convictions, admitted four counts of possessing indecent images of children. Jeremy Hawthorn, defending, said his client entered his guilty plea at the earliest opportunity before magistrates.

He said Mitchell had "cooperated at all stages", from assisting police when he was arrested to attending a voluntary interview and court when summoned, then taking part in a probation interview by phone, which he said was "potentially the most difficult because you're talking to someone you don't know about something very embarrassing".

Mr Hawthorn said Mitchell had "limited work history" but hoped to become a car mechanic after two years' studying at college in Bootle. The lawyer added: "He's also a reasonably experienced but self-taught guitar player."

Mr Hawthorn said a pre-sentence report "expressed reservations" about some of Mitchell's attitudes. He said: "The court will hope whatever attitude problems Mr Mitchell has are ones that are capable of being challenged and rehabilitated."

Mr Hawthorn said the Probation Service recommended Mitchell take part in a Horizon sex offenders treatment programme and added that Mitchell had already "taken steps to use the internet a little bit less compulsively and to make himself more useful around the house, which his mother is doing up".

Judge Anil Murray said the young age of the children pictured was an aggravating feature of the case but in mitigation Mitchell was of previous good character, made admissions, tried to change his lifestyle and hadn't offended since.

He said: "The pre-sentence report says you're remorseful and you show victim empathy. It's thought you're a medium risk of committing further sexual offences but you're unlikely to cause serious sexual harm."

The judge said as he was considered to be "a prospect for rehabilitation" and had no history of failing to comply with court orders, he could suspend his eight-month prison sentence for two years.

He ordered Mitchell to carry out the Horizon programme and a 60-day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Mitchell must also sign on the Sex Offenders Register and comply with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years.

Judge Murray reserved any breaches of the orders to himself and said if he saw Mitchell again, he would likely send him to jail.

France: Muslim spits in man’s face, chases him and his partner

while screaming ‘Allahu akbar’ and ‘Dirty Jews’

This is the France the elites have chosen, but they don’t have to suffer the effects of their choices; only the ordinary people have to do that.

Translated from “[Info VA] « Sales juifs », « Allah Akbar » : un couple agressé et poursuivi par un cycliste dans l’Essonne,”
Valeurs Actuelles, August 12, 2023

According to a police source, a couple taking a walk was attacked in Verrières-le-Buisson in Essonne, this Wednesday, around 10:30 p.m. The individual allegedly spat in the face of the man before his partner intervened.

After this first altercation, the attacker pulled out “a folding object that one of the victims likened to a knife,” still according to our sources. The individual chased after the couple, shouting: “Dirty Jews” and “Allah Akbar.” Fortunately, they found refuge in a restaurant while they alerted the police. At the scene, the police were unable to locate the suspect.

If lunatics like the guy in the story above are frightening, Socialists in France are even more terrifying.

Barbaric rape in Cherbourg: Olivier Faure prefers to talk about racism

rather than the victim

Translated from “Viol barbare à Cherbourg : Olivier Faure préfère parler de racisme plutôt que de la victime,”
Valeurs Actuelles, August 13, 2023

The left dares to say anything, even in tragic moments. While the rape of a young woman stirred many French people and almost the entire media landscape, Olivier Faure sent out a questionable tweet. “A criminal must be condemned for his crimes, whether his name is Oumar, Francis, Michel, Emile, Guy or Patrice. Barbarism, perversion and vice have no skin color or nationality,” he wrote on his Twitter account. “Using a heinous act to imply that immigrants are rapists is racist.”

Several Internet users have denounced the fact that the first secretary of the Socialist Party preferred to point the finger at supposed racism rather than having a word for the victim. “Not having a word for the victim who is fighting for her life. but rushing to speak out against the possible stigmatization of the perpetrator. This is pathetic,” exclaims essayist Amine El Khatmi on Twitter. For her part, the RN deputy for Var Laure Lavalette denounces: “Not a word for the victims before your immigrationist logorrhea? At least try to pretend, right?”

On August 4, an 18-year-old man broke into the home of a 19-year-old woman living in downtown Cherbourg. The assailant allegedly punched her several times in the face and body, before raping her using a broomstick. As Le Figaro reveals, the woman was hospitalized, operated on urgently and placed in an induced coma given the extent of her injuries: “perforation of the colon, small intestine, peritoneum and diaphragm, pneumothorax, rib fractures and a high risk of septic shock.”

The individual was placed in pre-trial detention and indicted on Saturday August 12 for “rape accompanied by acts of barbarism.”

This article doesn't state that the rapist was a Muslim, but the words of Faure and El Katmi, make it pretty clear. The act, itself, was not so much a sexual act but one of attempting to destroy the young woman. It was an act of hate and madness, the type seen so many times in Europe especially since 2015. Faure seems oblivious to this.

Please pray for this young woman.

Germany: Berlin’s official visitor website says the city is safe

except for women and Jews

And gays, and parks, and dark corners...

AUG 15, 2023 4:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER

What could possibly account for this? Is there a group among whom many have hatred for Jews and contempt for women? What group could this possibly be?

Official visitor website: Berlin is safe – except for women and Jews

Translated from “Offizielles Besucherportal: Berlin ist sicher – außer für Frauen und Juden,”
Exxpress, August 11, 2023

Even the leader of the Greens, Ricarda Lang, had to admit that she would not walk alone through Görlitzer Park in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Due to a gang rape, the green area recently became the focus of reporting again.

Is visiting Berlin dangerous? Many tourists ask themselves. The city’s official visitor portal emphasizes that although the city is “basically safe,” crime cannot be ruled out and certain safety aspects should be considered. This also includes “avoiding dark parks and corners at night.”

No Star of David in public

Women report that harassment, insults, sexual assaults and assaults are by no means exclusive to crowded inner-city areas. “You only go to your destination quickly with blinders on,” two young women are quoted as saying in a report by the RBB broadcaster. “It’s not a problem of parks, it’s a problem everywhere: at every stop I get off, on every street I walk.”

"It’s a problem everywhere: at every stop I get off, on every street I walk.”

In fact, n-tv also reports: The police are currently counting more attacks on women in public. From 2019 to 2022, the number of female victims of assault, threats, sex offenses and robbery on streets and in parks at night increased from around 3,000 to 4,210.

But it’s not just women who aren’t safe everywhere in Berlin. Travel websites have long been advising gay and lesbian couples or Jews to walk through certain parts of the city at night without clearly recognizable behavior or signs such as the Star of David, because insults or attacks occur again and again.

One of Britain's most prolific paedophiles is jailed for 25 years
amid warning encryption poses 'threat to child protection'

By JAMES ROBINSON FOR MAILONLINE
PUBLISHED: 12:01 EST, 10 February 2021

David Wilson, pictured, has been described as one of Britain's most prolific abusers after he admitted 96 sex abuse offences against 52 boys

One of Britain's most prolific paedophiles, who posed as teenage girls on social media to get dozens of young boys to send explicit images of themselves and other children, has been jailed for 25 years.

Former youth football team coach David Wilson, 36, tricked victims aged between four and 14 to send him explicit selfies before blackmailing them into making more extreme videos.

He is thought to have approached more than 5,000 children globally before being arrested by investigators, who had been sent information by Facebook.

Today police chiefs warned the social media giant's plan to introduce end-to-end encryption - a system where only the communicating users can read the messages - could hinder similar investigations in the future.

Appearing at Ipswich Crown Court, Wilson of King's Lynn, Norfolk, was today jailed for 25 years after admitting 96 child sex abuse offences against 52 victims.

The court heard Wilson used unregistered phones to approach his victims through social media sites, including Facebook and Instagram.

Pretending to be young girls, Wilson built up trust with his victims before blackmailing them into sending him explicit images.

In some cases, Wilson blackmailed his victims into abusing younger siblings or friends. Some boys were left suicidal by the abuse. (See link below).

The National Crime Agency, which had investigated Wilson for two years, described him as one of the most prolific child sexual abuse offenders they had come across.

In sentencing, Judge Rupert Overbury described Wilson as a 'serial paedophile' and an 'extremely dangerous individual'.

He told him: 'You carried out a lengthy and premeditated campaign of sadistic and manipulative abuse of young boys using social media.

And it took how many years for FB to notice him? With new encryption plans, they will never find such sick people leaving the potential victims limitless. Social media platforms must be held much more accountable.

There is much more on this story in the Daily Mail, including the suicidal thoughts of one survivor.

Third attempt to keep South Australia paedophile in prison
after another breach of release conditions
By court reporter Meagan Dillon
Posted Yesterday at 6:18pm

The South Australian Attorney-General will make a third application to the Supreme Court to keep a serial paedophile locked up indefinitely after he again breached the conditions of his release.

Gary John Tipping,
35, was released last year after the court rejected the Attorney-General's second bid to have him detained indefinitely. He was released last year before being rearrested.

The nature of the new breach was not aired in court.

Supreme Court Justice Sophie David today ordered Tipping remain in custody on an interim detention order until at least March 3.

Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has twice rejected applications to keep Tipping in prison indefinitely.

In 2019, the court was told that Tipping was unable to control his sexual urges and would be at significant risk of reoffending if released.

He had been convicted of sexual offences against boys aged between eight and 15. The court heard, at the time, that some of the offending happened shortly after he was released on a court bond and later on parole.

Forensic psychiatrists had told the court they believed Tipping remained at high risk of reoffending, had poor insight into his crimes and had not engaged well in treatment.

Legislation aimed at blocking the release of paedophiles who are unwilling or unable to control their sexual instincts passed South Australia's Parliament in 2018.

SA Attorney-General Vickie Chapman said she supported the Parole Board's decision to keep Tipping in custody. "I have previously applied for Mr Tipping's indefinite detention, but the application was rejected by the Supreme Court," Ms Chapman said.

"I later applied for the continued detention of Mr Tipping, following a previous breach of his Extended Supervision Order, but it too was rejected.

"I therefore support the Parole Board's application for a continued detention order. "No further comment will be made at this stage."

Auckland teacher sentenced for child sex abuse and grooming

A South Auckland school teacher who groomed children using the dating app Grindr before sexually abusing them will spend six-and-a-half years behind bars.

Edwin John Downing
, 43, was today sentenced at the High Court in Auckland after being found guilty of 11 charges following a two-week trial last November.

The charges included sexual conduct with a young person under 16, meeting a young person following sexual grooming and sexual violation by unlawful sexual connection.

The High Court heard how the father-of-one approached two teenagers on Grindr and offered between $40 and $100 for sex in 2018.

On one occasion he met and drove a 15-year-old boy to a road in Drury and sexually assaulted him.

Downing also met with a 13-year-old person four times for sex over a period of nine months, offering cash at a time when the victim's family was in hardship.

'Friend' of the family?

The transactional nature contributed to the victim's vulnerability, Justice Neil Campbell told the courtroom this morning. Neither of the victims were students of Downing.

In one victim impact statement, the survivor said they were "easily overwhelmed and startled by most mundane interaction involving physical contact" after the offending.

Another said they now have a lack of trust in men.

Downing's lawyer, Peter Kaye, said this was a situation "where a married man had clear homosexual tendencies. He went on Grindr, which clearly has one purpose."

Kaye says Downing's victims lied about their ages on Grindr.

And Grindr seems to be entirely OK with that!

Justice Campbell said it was clear Downing has not accepted his offending and the harm caused on victims after continually denying he had sex with anyone underage.

Frédéric Mion quits French university job over handling of the Olivier Duhamel affair

Sciences Po’s (Political Science) director has resigned over his handling of an incest scandal involving professor and political commentator Olivier Duhamel that has shaken French academia and triggered other public accusations against prominent intellectuals.

In an open letter to the teachers and students of France’s most renowned political sciences university, Frédéric Mion said a preliminary report by education inspectors cited “errors of judgment” on his part in the way he dealt with allegations brought to his attention in 2018 and “inconsistencies” in his public statements of recent weeks. The report has exonerated Sciences Po of any complicity.

“I have decided to present my resignation to the members of our boards and the minister of higher education,” he wrote. “I hope that this will allow the return of the calm so necessary for everyone’s work.”

The resignation comes as students of other political sciences schools that are part of the Sciences Po network across France have alleged they have been victims of sexual assaults, and that staff did little to address their complaints. Sciences Po said on Twitter it “fully supports victims of sexist and sexual violence”.

In his letter, Mion said the preliminary inquiry had found that “Sciences Po, under my direction, has resolutely engaged in the struggle against all forms of sexist or sexual violence”.

Duhamel, a prominent constitutional law professor, is being investigated by the state prosecutor although his alleged crimes in the 1980s appear to fall under the statute of limitations in force at the time. He has been accused by his stepdaughter Camille Kouchner of sexually abusing her twin brother when he was 13 or 14.

When Kouchner’s book detailing the allegations (8th story on link) was published at the start of the year, Duhamel resigned as president of the National Foundation of Political Science, which oversees the running of Sciences Po, and from other positions including his presidency of the elite dining club Le Siècle. He did not comment further than citing the fact that he was the target of “personal attacks.”

Mion said then he was “stunned” by the allegations, acknowledging he should have taken what he took to be “a rumour circulating about Olivier Duhamel” more seriously. “I let myself be fooled,” he told Le Monde.

Kouchner’s book, and the various allegations aired since by other victims of incest and sexual abuse, are the latest sign of a shift in French opinion away from what is now viewed as excessive permissiveness in the decades following the 1968 uprising.

In recent weeks, thousands of people have taken to social media, using the hashtag #metooinceste on Twitter, to denounce alleged abusers. The attention paid to incest since Kouchner went public follows similar campaigns against figures from the world of the arts and sports for alleged sexual abuse of teenage girls.

Among those targeted are Jean-Luc Brunel, a former French model agency boss and associate of the late sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein, who is being investigated for “rape of a minor over 15 and sexual harassment”, and Gabriel Matzneff (2nd story on link), now 84, the French author who wrote books about his sexual relations with adolescents and children.

Former Terenure College teacher abused boys in office, class, during sport and before plays

By Paul Reynolds, Crime Correspondent, RTÉ

A man who said his life was ruined by the abuse he suffered as a child at the hands of his teacher at school in Dublin 40 years ago, has described him as an "evil" man who "preyed" on him and other children for decades.

John McClean of Casimir Avenue, Harold's Cross has admitted to sexually abusing 23 boys in the 1970s and 1980s at Terenure College.

The 76-year-old is a former rugby coach and English teacher at Terenure College.

One victim said today that the school was "run by priests who failed utterly in their responsibility" to the care of the children there.

Fifteen of John McClean's victims stories of how he sexually abused them between 30 and 48 years ago were told in court today.

The 76-year-old former rugby coach and English teacher has pleaded guilty to 27 charges of indecently assaulting the boys at the school on dates between 1973 and 1990.

He abused nine victims in an office, eight during preparation for the school plays, three during sporting activities and three in the classroom.

The details of what McClean did to six of the boys has so far been outlined in court, they were 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 years of age at the time.

In their victim impact statements the boys, now men in their 50s, spoke of how the abuse damaged their lives.

One told how he left school after the abuse, fell into alcohol and drug abuse, went on to crime and begging on the streets of London before being sent to prison.

He described John McClean as "evil personified" and said when he met him he "crossed paths with the devil".

Another said when he told his brother about the abuse later in life, he found out that he too had been abused while one boy engineered his own expulsion to get away from the constant abuse.

"I will never forgive or forget what he did," he said. "He ruined my life when he was supposed to be protecting me."

When interviewed by gardaí, McClean denied the abuse saying the names of his victims meant nothing to him, he did not remember them.

One told how he was enticed to the office by McClean with bars of chocolate.

Another victim said McClean was "an evil man who should be punished for what he had done".

The victims were also highly critical of the authorities at Terenure College and said their allegations were ignored. It was run by priests, one victim said, whose duty was to care and protect and they failed utterly in their responsibilities. "All those p****s in charge knew and looked away," another victim said.

One man said he made his statement to the gardaí more than 30 years after the abuse after an article about Terenure College appeared in the newspaper.

He said his father phoned him up and told him to read it. "I think they got him," his father said to him.

Nine children rescued and female 'pimp' arrested in Philippines shanty town after police 'found Australian paedophile's rape videos'

Nine children have been rescued in the Philippines following the arrest of an accused paedophile in Australia.

The lives of the kids, aged between two and 16 years, changed forever when the man from small town regional Victoria, 61, was stopped at the Australian border in November 2019.

Authorities suspected the Victorian man of child sex crimes and allegedly found sexual conversations on his phone where he asked about girls' ages.

That sparked a Federal Police raid on his home near the Victorian-New South Wales border. There, officers found videos of the man allegedly raping underage Filipino girls. The Victorian was charged and his case is before the courts.

And this week - some fourteen months since his arrest - authorities reported a major breakthrough overseas.

Filipino authorities walk a child out of the Angeles city home where abuse allegedly took place in her pyjamas and a face shield

Footage shared by the Australian Federal Police shows a grown woman carrying a small child out of the home down a dirt road, washing apparently hung up on the right

Philippines National Police arrested a 42-year-old woman who had allegedly pimped the children out in the city of Angeles.

Philippine police official Brigadier General Alessandro Abella said the investigation was sparked by a tip off from Australian police. 'It highlights the cooperation and commitment we share in protecting children and arresting and prosecuting offenders in the Philippines and abroad,' Mr Abella said.

AFP Detective Superintendent Jayne Crossling said what Federal officers did in pursuing cases such as this was 'heart-breaking work'. 'Whether children are in Australia or overseas, our teams never give up because they know that every day we can't identify a child is another day they are being abused.'

Officials from Australia and the UK set up a 'centre for excellence' in fighting the scourge of child abuse in the Philippines in February 2019.

In 2017 alone, a United States-based organisation dedicated to stopping child exploitation received 45,645 online tips about possible crimes in the Philippines.

Of course, Canada has done nothing in this regard while there can be no doubt that there are Canadian child sex tourists in the Philippines and many more live-streaming it. Trudeau has done absolutely nothing about child sexual abuse in his 5.5 years in office.

Thai Police Seize Largest Ever Cache of Child Sex Abuse Photographs
Bangkok
Nontarat Phaicharoen

Thai police on Thursday said they arrested a 28-year-old Thai man and seized more than half a million photographs of child sex abuse – the largest ever cache – as part of an investigation into an international child-porn ring.

Police charged the suspect, Danudej Saengkaew, who claimed to work as a child model agent, with multiple sexual offenses against minors, said Korawat Panprapakorn, director general, Department of Special Investigation.

“It can be assumed that the archive of more than 500,000 obscene pictures of children are the biggest ever found – they showed sexual harassment of thousands of children,” a police press release said.

DSI officials said Danudej faces charges of uploading obscene materials, attempted rape of a minor/rape of a minor, child molestation, and abduction of a minor. Of these charges, attempted rape of a minor/rape of a minor carries a sentence of life in prison.

Danudei was arrested following a raid at his Nene Modeling home office in Pathum Thani, north of Bangkok, police said, adding Australian Federal Police (AFP) tipped off their Thai counterparts about the suspect’s location.

AFP previously gave Thai police information about an alleged associate of the suspect, Tagorn Attapathomchai, who was arrested in Bangkok last year.

Korawat said the suspect arrested on Thursday had been involved in the illicit business for about eight years.

Danudei initially denied any wrongdoing but officials confiscated evidence on his computers and other equipment, Korawat said.

“He said he just took photos of children for his modelling business, to make them famous. …We will take this evidence for analysis,” Korawat told reporters, adding that there may be other associates who worked with the suspect.

The arrests of Daundei and Tagorn were a result of cooperation among AFP, New Zealand Police and two U.S. agencies, the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the police statement said.

International and Thai NGOs including the California-based Operation Underground Railroad, A21 Foundation, Lift International, Alliance Anti Traffic, and the Legal Center for Human Rights will assist victims with rehabilitation, police said. These agencies could help the victims in filing possible lawsuits against Danudei and Tagorn.

‘Tip of an iceberg’

A Thai children’s advocacy group expressed concern about the sexual violations against children, alleging society is ignorant about such exploitation.

All societies are ignorant of such exploitation!

“Thailand sees frequent sexual abuses and sexual exploitation of children, but society is not aware of that,” Macha Porn-in, director of Yawachon Development Project, told BenarNews.

“Today’s news is just the tip of an iceberg. There are more out there.”

Macha said the nation needs to do better job at sex education. “Thailand needs to have sex education that meets international standards so people are aware of the matter. People must learn to respect children’s bodies. Children’s bodies must not be touched,” Macha said.

Since 2018, cooperation among DSI, Interpol, AFP and HSI has led to arrests of at least three Thai operators of separate child sex abuse websites that had a total subscriber base of more than 65,000 worldwide, a DSI report said.

All three were convicted and sentenced to prison terms of between 36 and 50 years, the report said.

Whoa! Well done!

In 2015, Thailand’s National Legislative Assembly amended the criminal code to make the possession, distribution and production of child pornography a crime.

“This amendment to the Criminal Code is a recognition that children and youth need to be protected from exploitation, including on the internet where images are traded and distributed far too easily,” said Jeremy Douglas, regional representative for Southeast Asia and the Pacific at the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime, in a statement at the time.

UNODC had assisted Thailand in amending its criminal code.

Teen charged with badgering women to sexually abuse their children

A teenager allegedly urged a young woman to sexually abuse a child during a string of indecent messages.

Logan Summers, 18, is accused of distributing indecent images of children, as well as sending sexual messages to six different females, one of whom was under the age of 13.

He allegedly used Snapchat to commit the offences at various addresses in Dundee.

The teen denies all nine of the charges he faces on indictment.

It is alleged that on February 10 2019, Summers sent a woman images and messages in relation to child abuse.

Four days later, a second woman was allegedly told by Summers to sexually abuse a child.

Prosecutors allege Summers repeatedly caused a third woman to suffer fear and alarm by making phone calls that contained sexual violence.

Between February 1 and February 28 2019, Summers, of Balerno Place, Douglas, allegedly sent a sexual image to a fourth woman.

A fifth woman was allegedly sent a message by Summers on February 28 2019 in which he said he had sexually abused a child.

Summers is also accused of sending an indecent image to a child under the age of 13 on June 9, 2019.

Dundee Sheriff Court documents allege that between February 10 and February 28 2019, Summers distributed indecent images of children.

He allegedly breached bail conditions on July 4 2019 by contacting a woman and on May 4 last year by being in possession of a mobile phone.

The boy is completely out of control. I'm glad I don't have his future to look forward to.
