CBS ignores fact that woman rescued in Gaza was

ISIS child sex slave, claims she was just ‘stranded’

American media house CBS downplays ISIS crimes after Israeli forces

rescue Yazidi woman trafficked to Gaza and held as a sex slave for 10 years

On Thursday (4th October), the Israeli authorities informed that a Yazidi woman named Fawzi Amin Sido who was abducted from Iraq by ISIS in 2014 at the age of 11 and trafficked to the Gaza Strip has been rescued. The officials said that the woman has been reunited with her family. While Sido could regain freedom after a decade of sexual abuse, torture and other unspeakable atrocities, US media outlet CBS News blatantly attempted to downplay ISIS sex crimes.

The CBS News article and relevant X post suggested that the Yazidi woman was ‘stranded’ in Gaza, even though she was trafficked from Iraq into Gaza by ISIS terrorists and held in captivity by Hamas terrorists there, forcefully married and turned into a sex slave of the Islamic terrorist….

I posted a brief story about Fawzi yesterday and while I was disappointed at the lack of mention of the status of child sex slave, I did not make as big a deal out of it as I should have. 

The CBS version stated that she was 'lured' into Gaza, as though she had a choice like an ISIS bride. Then it says she was 'stuck' in Gaza. For ten years she was stuck! Were her feet stuck in mud? 

It's like saying the three girls kidnapped in Cleveland and held prisoner for ten years were stuck in the house of their rapist. Or, Austria's Natasha Kampusch was stuck in the underground bunker her kidnapper and rapist built to keep her prisoner.

It is not criminal what CBS did on this story, but it is certainly immoral and may well be criminal in God's economy. Someone should be fired for this atrocity, otherwise, CBS has no moral compass at all.
