75 volunteers have been working to restore a facility for children who are victims of sexual abuse.
Volunteers were cleaning the Be Brave Ranch, located east of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, demolishing old furniture and moving in new donated items.
Glori Meldrum is the founder of Little Warriors, the organization behind the facility. Glori was sexually abused as a child, beginning at 8 years old. Her story is found at: http://glorimeldrum.com/.
She said Saturday’s volunteers will be helping kids who might otherwise be at risk.
“This will give them a place to get better, and to heal and know that they're loved. That community has come together to give this to them.”
The Be Brave Ranch is set to open in June.
