Is it just me or are there more sexual deviates per-capita in Alabama than any other state?

A 52-year-old Jefferson County man is in jail, charged with six cases of child sex abuse involving two female victims.
Larry Eugene Stell was indicted June 26, and arrested on Tuesday, court records show. His charges are: attempted first-degree sodomy, sexual torture, two counts of sex abuse of a child less than 16, and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
Stell lived in Pinson at the time of the alleged abuse, but has since moved to Gardendale, records show. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office launched its investigation in February, and presented the findings to the a grand jury.
Details of the allegations aren't being made public because of the nature of the crimes and the ages of the victims. Stell remains jailed with bonds totaling $150,000.
