Perverted Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous; Episode VI

New Michael Jackson Doc About Alleged Child Sexual Abuse To Screen At Sundance
Michaela Morgan, 10 Daily

'Leaving Neverland' includes interviews with two young men who allege they were subjected to abuse by the late pop star.

The film -- named after Jackson's former ranch in California -- discusses how fans were unwilling to believe that "the King of Pop could be guilty of such unspeakable acts" when allegations of sexual abuse against him first arose in the early '90s.

Leaving Neverland follows the "separate but parallel" stories of two boys who were welcomed -- along with their families -- into the singer's life, according to the film's bio.

"Seduced by the singer’s fairy-tale existence and enthralled by their relationship with him, both boys' families were blind to the manipulation and abuse that he would ultimately subject them to," it continues.

The film's director -- Dan Reed -- has previously produced award winning documentaries including The Paedophile Hunter,  From Russia With Cash and Three Days Of Terror: The Charlie Hebdo Attacks.

Leaving Neverland will screen later this month at the prestigious film festival in Utah -- a wider global release has not yet been announced.

California Disney Executive Charged With Child Sex Abuse Receives Jury Retrial Date

Posted by: Lorena Mejia  in Santa Clarita

A Saugus Disney executive charged with sexually assaulting two children over the course of six years returned to court Thursday to continue his retrial.

A previous story indicates Heely was director of music publishing at Disney. Saugus is on the outskirts of Santa Clarita, CA.

The retrial was set for Jonathan Blake Heely, 58, because the original jury was unable to reach a verdict unanimously, according to Ricardo Santiago, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Heely was charged in December 2017 with three felony counts of lewd acts with a child. The earliest of these incidents allegedly took place more than a decade ago.

He is alleged to have “willfully, unlawfully and lewdly committed a lewd and lascivious act upon and with the body and certain parts and members thereof (Victim 1), a child under the age of 14 years, with the intent of arousing, appealing to and gratifying the lust, passions and sexual desires of the said defendant and the said child,” according to court documents.

Heely allegedly abused Victim 1 “on or between June 2006 and June 2010,” according to the criminal complaint.

Additionally, the charges detail another child, Victim 2, who was also allegedly “willfully, unlawfully and lewdly” acted upon by Heely.

Victim 2 was acted upon even earlier than Victim 1, according to the criminal complaint, with the alleged incidents occurring during a period from August 2004 to August 2005.

A Disney spokesman said the company suspended Heely after being informed of the charges when they were first reported.

Booking records indicate that Heely was released on $150,000 bail in December 2017. He is due back in court on March 26 for a jury trial.

Google sued over cover-up & payoffs in executive sexual misconduct

Board members of Alphabet, the parent company of tech giant Google, are being sued by shareholders over multi-million payouts to top executives investigated for sexual harassment at the Silicon Valley behemoth.

The lawsuit, filed on Thursday in California, claims that the board failed in its duty to shareholders by approving big severance payouts to executives who left the company, while keeping details of their alleged sexual misconduct under wraps.

Among the defendants named in the lawsuit by shareholder James Martin are Google’s co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, as well as former CEO Eric Schmidt, who were all on the board’s audit and compensation committees that approved the payouts.

Last October, Google revealed to its employees that it had dismissed 48 people for sexual harassment over the past two years, without payouts. Martin’s lawsuit, however, focuses on millions paid to two executives – Andy Rubin and Amit Singhal – who were both accused of sexual misconduct.

Rubin left Alphabet in 2014 with a four-year $90 million payout. He was the creator of the Android mobile operating system and ran the company’s mobile division. The reasons for his departure were a mystery until a New York Times report in October accused him of sexual misconduct with a female staff member, which the paper said was covered up by Google.

Another executive, Amit Singhal, left Alphabet in 2016 in a similar fashion, also amid sexual harassment claims, the lawsuit says.

The Times report caused widespread anger among Alphabet staff, with thousands of employees staging walkouts at Google offices (4th story on link) around the world. Commenting on Martin’s lawsuit, some of the staff involved in organizing the October walkout released a statement Thursday,  slamming the Google board for not having the employees’ “best interests at heart.”

“Google’s culture of racism, discrimination, and sexual harassment is not the result of a few individual bad actors — it’s built into how the system works, and won’t be fixed without structural change,” they wrote.

Any damages Martin is seeking will be directed back to Google, as his objective is to reform Alphabet’s corporate governance, his attorney Louise Renne told Bloomberg.

Full list of R. Kelly abuse, underage sex and cult accusations - dating back 25 years

The rapper, who has sold 30 million albums, has faced allegations of sexual misconduct and child pornography for over two decades
By Matt Roper, The Mirror

For 25 years R Kelly has fended off accusations he is a serious sex offender while he has sold millions of records.

And his own daughter has branded him a “monster” and a “terrible father”.

Buku Abi, real name Joann Kelly, posted a message to her 23,600 Instagram followers after the documentary, Surviving R Kelly, exposed details of his alleged sexual misconduct against women and teenagers.

She wrote: "The same monster you are all confronting me about is my father. I am well aware of who and what he is. I grew up in that house.

"My choice to not speak on him and what he does is for my peace of mind. My emotional state. And for my healing."

Her post came after Lady Gaga apologised for working with R Kelly and said she would be removing their duet Do What U Want from streaming services.

With serious accusations against the R&B star going back over two decades, many wonder why it took so long for the showbiz world to turn against him...

Here are the 16 accusations the American singer has faced.

1. 1994 - Marriage to 15-year-old singer Aaliyah
The rapper, then aged 27, married 15-year-old singer Aaliyah - who a year earlier he had worked with on her first album - at a secret ceremony in Chicago.

Vibe magazine later discovered that Aaliyah had lied on the wedding certificate about her age, listing herself as 18.

The marriage was annulled in February 1995, and her family successful argued to expunge all records of the marriage, as Aaliyah was too young to be married without her parents’ consent.

Neither artist ever publicly admitted to the marriage before Aaliyah died in a plane crash seven years later.

2. 1996 - Sued for relationship with a teenager
Two years later another woman, Tiffany Hawkins, sued Kelly for “personal and emotional distress” she claimed she suffered during a three-year relationship with the star when she was still a teenager.

In court documents, she said she first had sex with Kelly in 1991 when she was 15 and he was 24.

She claimed the relationship ended three years later, when she turned 18.

She claimed Kelly met her, at at least one other teenage girl with whom he allegedly had sex, while he was visiting a choir class at her Chicago school.

The lawsuit also alleged that Kelly encouraged her to participate in group sex with other underage girls, and sought £8million in damages.

She accepted a fraction of that amount - £200,000 - when the case was settled in 1998.

3. January 2001 - Claims he had sex with an underage girl
The Chicago Sun-Times received a video tape from an anonymous source, purporting to show Kelly having sex with an underage girl.

The newspaper passed the tape on to the Chicago Police Department, which investigated its contents but were unable to verify the age or identity of the girl.

4. August 2001 - Accused of having sex with an underage intern
Six months later, in August 2001, the singer was hit by another lawsuit, this time brought by a former intern at his label, Epic Records.

Tracy Sampson claimed Kelly encouraged her “into an indecent sexual relationship” in 2000, when she was 17-years-old.

“I was coerced into receiving oral sex from a girl I did not want to have sex with,” she claimed in the lawsuit.

“I was often treated as his personal sex object and cast aside. He would tell me to come to his studio and have sex with him, then tell me to go.

"He often tried to control every aspect of my life including who I would see and where I would go.”

Kelly and Sampson reportedly settled out of court for an undisclosed sum.

5. February 2002 - Video allegedly showing him having sex with a girl, 14
The Chicago Sun-Times received yet another tape which purported to show Kelly having sex with an underage girl.

Once again, the newspaper passed the tape onto local police.

This time the girl, who was 17 at the time of the story, was identified by her aunt, who believed her to be 14 at the time the tape was recorded.

Reporter Jim DeRogatis later described the contents of the video saying: “He orders her to call him Daddy.

"He urinates in her mouth and instructs her at great length on how to position herself to receive his ‘gift.’

“It’s a rape that you’re watching. So we’re not talking about rock star misbehaviour, which men or women can do.

"We’re talking about predatory behavior. Their lives were ruined.”

6. April and May 2002 - Underage pregnancy and sex tape allegations
Two new women filed new lawsuits against him alleging sexual misconduct.

The first, Patrice Jones, claimed Kelly had got her pregnant when she was underage, and then forced her to have an abortion.

Patrice claimed Kelly pressured her into a sexual relationship when she was 16 years old, and that she had sex with him “20 or 30 times”.

Like many of the other girls, she said Kelly had promised to help her in her music career.

Another woman, Montina Woods, also suited Kelly, alleging that he videotaped them having sex without her knowledge.

The recording was allegedly circulated on an R Kelly “sex tape”, which was being sold under the title R Kelly Triple-X.

The star settled both cases out of court, paying an undisclosed sum in return for a non-disclosure agreement.

7. June 2002- Charged with child pornolography while releasing hugely successful album

Four months after receiving the second sex tape from the Chicago Sun-Times, police charged the star with 21 counts of child pornography, involving intercourse, oral sex, urination, and other sexual acts.

All of the charges related to one girl, born in September 1984.

It took six years for the case to come to trial, during which time the singer, who posted bail of £750,000, released a hugely successful album, Trapped In The Closet.

In 2004, while still on probation, Kelly was allowed to attended the Grammy awards, for which he was a nominee, but must not come into contact with Michael Jackson.

But although 14 witnesses identified the girl on the tape, the jury found him not guilty after concluding they could not prove the girl on the tape was a minor.

8. 2002-2004 - Arrested over more child porn - and charges dropped
Following his arrest over the sex video case, police charged Kelly with a further 12 counts of child pornography.

The charges came after officers seized a camera at the Florida holiday home where he was arrested.

It allegedly showed the star having sex with an underage girl.

But they were later dropped after a judge ruled the photos were obtained without a probable cause for a search warrant.

9. July 2017 - Sex cult claims
The rapper was accused of trapping six women in a “sex cult” in July 2017.

An article on Buzzfeed alleged that Kelly seduced young women who wanted help progressing their music careers, before taking control of their lives - including confiscating their cell phones and barring contact with friends and family.

A former personal assistant told how the singer only permitted the women to wear jogging suits so that other men can’t see their bodies.

She also claimed when other men were in the same room Kelly “would make the girls turn around and face the wall in their jogging suits because he doesn’t want them to be looked at be anyone else".

The article claimed the star would dictate "what they eat, how they dress, when they bathe, when they sleep, and how they engage in sexual encounters that he records".

Kelly denied the claims, and his lawyer said in a statement: “We can only wonder why folks would persist in defaming a great artist who loves his fans, works 24/7, and takes care of all of the people in his life.”

10. August 2017 - More underage sex allegations
The Buzzfeed story prompted a number of further allegations against the star, starting with Jehronda Pace.

She broke a non-disclosure agreement claiming she had a sexual relationship with Kelly which began when she was 16.

She claimed that the singer filmed their sexual encounters without her consent, and that she ended the relationship with him when he physically abused her after catching her texting with a friend.

11. October 2017 - Accused of physical and sexual abuse
Former Dallas radio DJ Kitti Jones told Rolling Stone magazine that Kelly coerced her into sex and physically and sexually abused her while she lived with the singer in Chicago between 2011 and 2013.

She told another magazine, Spin: “Coming forward at that time was out of the question.

"I wasn’t sure who I was anymore. I was just ashamed, I wanted to go into hiding, I wanted to forget that it happened.”

12. March 2018 - Claims he got pals to 'scout' for younger women
In a BBC Three documentary in March 2018, Lovell Jones, a former friend and collaborator of Kelly, said that the singer asked him to scout out women "that looked young" at parties.

He claimed that it was "common knowledge" that the singer preferred young girls.

13. April 2018 - Woman says he knowingly infected her with an STD
A month later, another woman filed a civil complaint in Dallas against Kelly, alleging he knowingly infected her with an unnamed STD.

In the lawsuit the unnamed woman accused him of “several form for criminal misconduct… including, but not limited to, unlawful restraint, furnishing alcohol and illegal drugs to a minor, and aggravated assault”.

14. May 2018 - More abuse allegations
Another Buzzfeed report included abuse allegations regarding two new women: Lizzette Martinez, who said she met Kelly when she was 17, and another woman identified only as “N.,” whose mother told BuzzFeed she also met Kelly at age 17.

On the same day, the Washington Post also published an expose detailing accusation by two additional women who claimed Kelly had abused them in the past.

Soon after, another woman, Asante McGee, appeared on the Today show alleging that she had to ask permission to use the bathroom while living with Kelly, and that the singer would slap women for calling him anything other than “daddy.”

15. October 2018 - Ex-wife claims he tied her to a bed
Andrea Kelly, who was married to R Kelly from 1996 to 2009, claimed he physically abused her.

She told in an interview how her ex-husband once hog-tied her to a bed and attacked her in the back of a car so violently that she thought she might die.

She said: “I said ‘Robert, you’re going to kill me. I can’t breathe. I just thought, ‘Oh, my God.

"I’m going to die in the back of this Hummer."

As more allegations surface, the star’s lawyer, publicist and personal assistant all quit.

16. January 2019 - Documentary airs detailing fresh allegations
The six-part Lifetime documentary Surviving R Kelly aired over three nights, detailing fresh allegations of psychological and physical abuse against the singer.

Kelly has once again denied the claims and has threatened to sue the channel over the documentary.

Police in Georgia have launched an investigation into the claims.

His daughter has spoken of her support her father's alleged victims.

She said: "I pray for all the families and women who have been affected by my father's actions. Trust, I have been deeply affected by all of this."

Child sex paedo, RTE sports producer,
could be forced to stay in UK

He served half of his 18-month sentence for attempting
to have sex with a 13-year-old child

British authorities can force newly-released paedophile and former RTE sport producer Kieran Creaven to stay in the UK.

RTE is Ireland's national TV and Radio broadcaster.

As revealed on Dublin Live yesterday he served half of his 18-month sentence for attempting to have sex with a 13-year-old child.

But authorities said he could be subject to a “home detention curfew”. This allows for the early release of prisoners before the completion of their sentence – but they would have to continue to liaise with the probation service.

A spokesman for the British Department of Justice refused to discuss the case but did reveal the standards for release. He said: “No one is released from prison without a tough risk assessment, close monitoring, and strict licence conditions which if breached can lead to more time behind bars.

Kieran Creaven arriving at court

“Under the Criminal Justice Act 2003, most prisoners must be automatically released at the halfway point of their sentence.

“Home detention curfew allows for the early release and monitoring of prisoners serving sentences of imprisonment between 12 weeks and under four years.

“The prisoner must serve at least a quarter of the sentence but may be released up to 135 days before their automatic release date at the half-way point of sentence.”

Creaven, 55, planned on two occasions to fly over from his home in Dublin to meet the “girl” he had groomed through social media messages.

The account was instead fake and was set up by the Facebook group Predator Exposure, who cornered him in Leeds on November 18, 2017, where he was expecting to meet the “girl”.

When arrested he had two boxes of condoms, a list of female names and two phones.
