Trumbull said if he 'wanted it, he would take it
no matter what'
Trish Choate, Wichita Falls Times Record News
A Texas man suspected of murdering a boy found dead in Wichita Falls is accused of sexually preying on an underage girl in Las Vegas, saying he wanted to be in a "poly" relationship and that members of the supreme white race should multiply, according to an arrest report.
Both Corey Allen Trumbull, 31, and his girlfriend, Stormy Loraine Johnson, 37, have been charged with a string of child sex crimes and child abuse in connection with incidents in Las Vegas, according to online jail records.
Another PnP couple where the woman is older than the man. There are several such couples documented on this blog.
They are also charged in connection with the death of 11-year-old Logan Cline after Wichita Falls police discovered his body in the trunk of a car Feb. 27 in Wichita Falls.
Trumbull faces a charge of capital murder, and both he and Johnson face charges of tampering with evidence in connection with the Wichita Falls murder case, according to police.
They met in Midland after getting in touch online and had what Trumbull described as a good relationship, according to Las Vegas arrest reports. The couple and Johnson's daughter drifted from Wichita Falls to Las Vegas around Jan. 5 with California the next destination, according to arrest reports.
Trumbull begged for money on the Las Vegas Strip, and Johnson was heavily into drugs while the three lived in their pickup and hotels, according to police reports. He became increasingly violent toward Johnson and engaged in what he called a "poly" relationship involving an underage girl, according to police reports.
Johnson's outrcy on Feb. 26 about domestic violence led to the discovery of her son's body the next day in an older Ford in the 1200 block of Kenley near the Red Roof Inn off I-44, according to police. Johnson alleged Trumbull repeatedly choked her with a dog chain made out of metal and beat her with a pipe or stick, according to Las Vegas police. Johnson had many broken bones.
Trumbull is charged with first-degree kidnapping, domestic battery and domestic battery by strangulation in connection with incidents in Las Vegas, according to an arrest report.
Trumbull's last known address is a now closed homeless shelter, the San Angelo Salvation Army, and Johnson, also mother of a 15-year-old girl, is from Midland, according to arrest reports and www.publicdata.com.
Rundown of couple's charges
Trumbull and Johnson were being held Thursday in the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas on Wichita Falls fugitive warrants and bonds of $100,000 each for Las Vegas charges, according to police and jail records.
Both Trumbull and Johnson have been charged with these child abuse and child sex crimes in Las Vegas:
Possession of visual pornography of a person under 16
Three charges of sexual assault against a child under 16
Two charges of lewd act committed by person over 18 with a child of 14 or 15
Child abuse or neglect
The latest report details a detective's allegations against Trumbull of statutory sex seduction by a person over 21 under Nevada's statutory rape law.
Earlier, TRN obtained a domestic-violence arrest report from the LVMPD through another open records request. These reports provide a picture of the Las Vegas allegations.

They gave this account: A Las Vegas detective alleges Trumbull committed statutory rape Jan. 22 at a hotel in the 3700 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. On Feb. 29, Child Protective Services received information from an unknown source. A CPS investigator and LVMPD detective were assigned to the investigation.
Young girl describes alleged assault
An alleged sexual assault victim was forensically interviewed while a detective observed March 4 at the Southern Nevada Children's Assessment Center. The girl told the interviewer that a lot had happened since she last saw the interviewer. "I try to forget about a lot of it," she said.
The girl said she met with a foster family but did not feel comfortable with the family. She said she has "changed the way she sees men" because of her past. The girl said she doesn't like to live with men she isn't related to and declined to live with the foster family.
She said she was touched inappropriately when she was little and woke up screaming. At the time, she was living in a double-wide trailer with her mother and other occupants. The victim said she "regrets telling people things" and has "moved on from it."
On March 10, a CPS investigator met with a woman and took a taped statement. The woman said she was on drugs "real heavy." She told the investigator that Trumbull said he was going to "take what he wanted."
Trumbull told her that he wanted to be in a "poly" relationship, and she didn't have a say in it, the woman said. Trumbull told her the white race is the supreme race and is supposed to multiply, the woman said.
The woman said Trumbull and the sexual assault victim began having sex "behind her back." She had to act as if it were OK because she feared and loved Trumbull. She said she witnessed Trumbull having sex with the victim but could not stand up to him because she was scared.
The woman told the investigator that when Trumbull started being with the girl, the woman was an "outcast" who was "just there." The woman said she "just did more drugs."
Trumbull consented to a taped interview with a detective and was read his Miranda rights. He said he dated a woman for eight months to a year after meeting her online. Their relationship was good. They came to Las Vegas and were planning to go to California.
Trumbull began to cry. He told the detective that he had sex with the girl but did not remember the first time. Trumbull said he engaged in several "threesomes" that included the sexual assault victim. He denied giving methamphetamine to a woman.
A DNA swab was obtained from Trumbull's mouth. Two Las Vegas detectives then met with the woman, who consented to a taped statement and was read her Miranda rights.
The woman told detectives that the idea of Trumbull having sex with the girl was introduced as a joke. While they were smoking in the bathroom, Trumbull told the woman that "back in the Middle Ages, (redacted)'s age would be like womanhood."
"No," the woman said. Trumbull told her if he "wanted it, he would take it no matter what." The woman "laughed it off." Later, Trumbull told her that he and the sexual assault victim had been together several times and for her to mind her own business.
The woman told detectives that while Trumbull had sex with the victim, she was "getting more high." She told detectives that she didn't know if she ever engaged in sex with Trumbull and the victim. "My brain is not what it used to be," she said, blaming it on meth.
The woman told detectives she was mad she didn't do anything. Her family was not involved in her life, the woman said. Detectives told her what Trumbull had said about her taking part in sex acts and explained to the woman that she had opportunities to report the abuse. The woman asked for an attorney, and the interview ended.
On March 12, a CPS investigator interviewed the girl, who said she had "caught feelings" for Trumbull and "fell for him." The girl said they would "do the dirty." She said she was in a relationship with him but was not anymore. She said she wanted a best friend who was there for her, and that's what Trumbull was.
On March 12, a Las Vegas detective contacted a detective from another police department, who told him a camera had been found in Trumbull's truck when a search warrant was served in Las Vegas. The camera contained images of Trumbull engaging in sex acts and nude photographs of two females.
At the Clark County Detention Center, Trumbull told detectives someone else took the photographs.

Pennsylvania prison releases inmates
charged with sex assault crimes
by Marshall Keely
In this era of madness, it is necessary to retain a sense of humor, at least in part. I love that Blair County Prison is located in Holidaysburg. Wonder how close they came to naming it Holidaysburg Prison?
HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) -- Dozens of inmates from the Blair County Prison are requesting their release, concerned by the spread of COVID-19. The Blair County district attorney’s office said the courts received 62 requests for bail reductions last week.
A handful of inmates with low-level offenses have had those requests granted, based on their age and health. The DA’s office said some inmates charged with sexual assault and domestic violence are walking free, causing concern from those on the front lines.
Not to mention their victims.
“Being quarantined does not stop child abuse; it does not stop domestic violence. And for these people where home is not safe, we have concerns,” said Ashley Owens, program director at the Blair County Children’s Advocacy Center.
In fact, is it almost certain that it will increase child and spousal abuse, and probably quite dramatically.
Blair County Assistant District Attorney Nicole Smith said there was a significant increase in bail reduction petitions last week, many citing overcrowding in the prison. While violent offenders and those with a long criminal history will remain behind bars, Smith said others have been set free.
“Unfortunately, a lot of those individuals are charged with either domestic violence crimes or sexual assault crimes,” Smith said. “Some of those individuals are charged with rape, the rape of a child. The court has already released some individuals charged with crimes of that nature.”
Because children have no voice, and certainly few people would listen even if they did.
One of those individuals, 32-year-old Travis Wilson, is facing 52 counts, accused of sexually assaulting three young girls over a period of months. His $500,000 bail was reduced to just $1,000 and he was released Tuesday.
Owens said Wilson's release is concerning.
“When you add in the fact that we are kind of in this global pandemic, the kids are kind of stuck at home,” she said. “They’re not in school, they’re not going to any outside resources. We have concerns that have been raised about children that are potentially in the home that he’s returning to and the victims from those crimes.”
“Even in those cases where a judge says to a defendant, ‘OK, well you’re not going to go home to your alleged victim,’ where are we sending these individuals then if they don’t have another place to go to in the community?” Smith said.
Owens said she's also concerned by the message these releases send to victims and survivors, but she said it does not diminish the bravery they've shown in coming forward. She wants the community to keep a watchful eye.
“I encourage people to still be vigilant,” Owens said. “We’re at home, but if you would see anything concerning or hear anything concerning, report it. Law enforcement is still very much in effect, [Blair County] Children and Youth is still working; these are still life-sustaining businesses working to protect children.”
Owens said she hopes judges take the current circumstances into account when making these decisions, and understand the dangers it may put victims in.
If you believe a child you know may be facing abuse, call the Childline at (717) 783-8744.
Of course, the main concern here is that this may be happening all over America and the world. Tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of pedophiles being unleashed onto society, and terrorizing their victims. Jesus, please come back soon!

Weatherford, Texas man indicted for
aggravated sexual assault of a child
By Autumn Owens news1@weatherforddemocrat.com
A Parker County grand jury indicted Derek Evan Songer, 19, of Weatherford, on March 19 for aggravated assault of a child and indecency with a child by sexual contact.
On Dec. 10, a Parker County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched to a local school following an outcry of sexual abuse, according to the probable cause affidavit. The victim said that Songer had raped her. The deputy met with a family member of Songer who had text messages, which said “I raped [the victim] years ago.” The deputy was able to document the message and scheduled a forensic interview to be conducted with the victim.
“During the interview the victim advised that [Songer] had started having inappropriate sexual contact with her when she was approximately 5 years old,” according to the affidavit. “The victim said the last time the defendant assaulted her was last year when she was 12 years of age.”
Songer would have been 17 or 18 years of age when the last sexual offense occurred, according to the affidavit.
And, therefore, 10 or 11 when the first occurred.
“If Mr. Songer is convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child, he will be sentenced to five to 99 years or life in prison and up to a $10,000 fine,” Assistant District Attorney Jeff Swain said. “If convicted of indecency with a child, he will be facing a sentence of two to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. If convicted of either count, he will be required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.”
Songer was arrested and booked into the Parker County Jail on Jan. 27 and is being held on a $50,000 bond.

Jacksonville, Fla, police seek potential victims in
child sexual abuse case

By Dan Scanlan
Police are looking for more information after a 34-year-old man was arrested in the sexual abuse of a child, only a few months after he had been jailed for harboring underage runaways in abandoned building, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
Police are trying to determine if there are more victims after this month’s arrest in a child sexual-abuse case.
After learning about reported sexual abuse in February, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s Special Assault Unit conducted a criminal investigation and identified 34-year-old James Phillip Abbey as the suspect, police said. He came to the Sheriff’s Office March 11 and was charged with sexual battery of a victim younger than 12.
Details were not released, but police said Abbey had previously been arrested three months ago on charges of sheltering a minor runaways without parental or law enforcement notification on the Northside. He was released on bail Jan. 2, jail records show.
“We are releasing his image to seek any other possible victims due to his history harboring minor runaways,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
His Dec. 16 arrest report said the father of a missing boy contacted officers with information that his son and another child were possibly being kept by someone named “Joie.” The father also said he had heard the missing children were being held in an abandoned bowling alley on Harts Road or a shuttered apartment building on Clark Road.
The father said “Joie” might have a gun and had told the children he was a retired police officer, the arrest report said.
Officers searched the area, ultimately spotting Abbey with the two missing children on Interstate Center Drive and arresting him, the report said. The missing children were returned to their homes as a search was made for any others at the abandoned bowling alley.
Anyone with more information on this investigation can call the Sheriff’s Office at (904) 630-0500.
