School Defied Parents and Orchestrated Student's Gender Transition,

Suit Alleges

Two Florida parents have filed a federal lawsuit alleging that their daughter’s school orchestrated her gender transition and intentionally deceived the mother and father about the matter.

The lawsuit alleges that staff at Deerlake Middle School in Tallahassee, Fla., called the 13-year-old girl by her preferred name and pronouns and allowed her to use the boys’ restroom – all without the permission of her parents. Further, the lawsuit alleges, the school’s staff were told not to use the girl’s preferred name and pronouns around the mother and father.

The parents allege that the school violated their parental rights under the U.S. and Florida Constitutions. The Washington Examiner also reported on the lawsuit.

“What the school district did is tantamount to saying children need to be protected from their parents, rather than by their parents,” the parents’ attorney, Veronica Broyles, told the Examiner. “This guidance that they had in place and their actions convey the message that parents are presumed to be dangerous to their children.”

...When the reverse is the reality!

The girl identified as non-binary and preferred plural “they/them” pronouns. The lawsuit says she has been diagnosed with ADHD and is seeing a counselor. Further, the suit says, the girl’s self-identity likely is due to her circle of friends – three of whom identify as transgender.

Social media has caused an explosion in girls transitioning to boys.

“By excluding parents from discussions regarding their child’s/children’s assertion of a discordant gender identity and adopting protocols aimed at secretively affirming the discordant gender identity, Defendants are making … decisions that affect the mental health of their child in contravention of Plaintiffs’ fundamental rights,” the lawsuit says.

The controversy began when the child asked her parents if she could be identified as non-binary and use a different name and a different set of pronouns at school. The parents agreed to a name change, but only as a nickname.

The parents told the child’s math teacher about the nickname but also said they wanted her to be identified as female at school and to be referred to using female pronouns, the suit says.

The parents are Jeffrey and January Littlejohn. The child is known as “A.G.” in the lawsuit.

“Unbeknownst to Mr. and Mrs. Littlejohn until November 2, 2020, A.G.’s request to change her name with the guidance counselor unleashed a flurry of activity aimed at secretly affirming A.G.’s belief that she was nonbinary and was to be called ‘J.’ and be referred to by the pronouns ‘they/them’ by all of A.G.’s teachers in direct contravention of her parents’ decisions and direction to school staff. … Mr. and Mrs. Littlejohn also learned that as of September 8, 2020, teachers and staff at Deerlake Middle School had been told that A.G. identified as ‘nonbinary’ and of her preferred name and pronouns. Staff had also been directed not to use her preferred name or gender-specific pronouns when talking to A.G.’s Parents.”

It is the second such lawsuit in recent weeks to become public. Alliance Defending Freedom is representing a Wisconsin couple who allege that the principal and staff of a school district identified their daughter as a transgender boy over their objections.

African football legend in extraordinary on-air rant

about homosexuality and Islam

One of the most successful players in African football history has produced a blistering live rant to an audience of millions during a Premier League game, urging Muslim people to act on homosexuality.

Mohamed Aboutrika boasts more than seven million followers on Instagram, including Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah and Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez.

Providing punditry for BeIN Sports on Manchester United's 1-1 draw at Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday, Aboutrika launched into a homophobic rant sparked by the wearing of rainbow-themed LGBTQ laces.

Players are donning the symbols on their boots in solidarity with the UK-based LGBT rights charity Stonewall as part of a Premier League-backed campaign between November 27 and December 2 to promote equality and diversity.

The joint initiative encourages "LGBT+ acceptance among children and young people" and aims to equip coaches, teachers and leaders with resources and programs promoting positive attitudes towards the LGBT+ community.

Aboutrika, who won back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations titles with Egypt and scored the winning goal in the 2008 final, clearly doesn't approve.

"This phenomenon, the sexual abnormality of homosexuality – we must educate and raise young kids," the committed Muslim said in his on-air outburst, via translation.

"Such a phenomenon does not fit our faith and does not fit our religion. In the past, we used to say 'ignore this phenomenon.' But no – now this phenomenon became nasty and it exists.

"We give credit to many Muslim players in the Premier League for not participating in LGBT campaigns. That's the role of Muslim players and Muslim scholars – this phenomenon broke through our society.

"This phenomenon is not only against Islam's nature; it's against human nature. Allah says in the Quran, 'we have honored the children of Adam.' So by doing this homosexuality, we are not honoring humans, we are humiliating them. People should pay attention and be careful – sports are inside every home now.

"We all have a role to play to stand up against this homosexuality, this phenomenon which is not complete with Islam and is against common sense.

"Our religion, Islam, and all religions [must] fight it and warn about it. So this is our role to play, we have to pay attention. I hope that in the coming years, BeIN Sports, during [LGBT campaigns], will only show the game live at the referee's whistle, without studios in order to avoid everything LGBT-related.

"We can't guarantee what happens in the middle of games, but anyway, this is a suggestion to beIN Sports. Our role is to stand up to homosexuality because it's a dangerous ideology, it's becoming nasty and people are not ashamed of it anymore. They will tell you that homosexuality is 'human rights'. No, it is not 'human rights' – in fact, it's against humanity."

BeIN Sports issued a response amid a backlash. "As a global media group we represent, champion and support people, causes and interests of every single background, language and cultural heritage across 43 hugely diverse countries, as we show every day," the Qatari channel said through a  spokesperson.

The Premier League said that it "wholeheartedly" disagrees with the analyst's views.

"The Premier League and its clubs are committed to supporting LGBTQ+ inclusion and making clear football is for everyone," it added.

Sweden gets first ever transgender minister

Sweden has appointed its first transgender member of government, with Lina Axelsson Kihlblom becoming the minister of higher education and research.

OMG - a transgender in charge of higher education; what could possibly go wrong here?

Kihlblom, 51, was appointed on Tuesday by Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, Sweden’s first female leader.

She described her path to gender reassignment in a 2018 interview for the magazine Icakuriren.

“I was probably not more than three years old when it became clear to me that I ended up wrong. There are pictures of me as a child standing naked in my mother’s high heels and a pink bra,” Kihlblom said. She revealed that she had undergone gender reassignment surgery in a 2004 book titled ‘Will You Like Me Now?’

She completed her gender transition when she was 25, after five years of medical treatment, saying only then could she finally be herself – and that she pretended life before 25 did not exist.

As education minister, Kihlblom, who previously served as a primary school principal in Haninge, and head of administration in Nynäshamn municipality, said she plans to overhaul the system of higher education to make it more student oriented. She is also a trained lawyer.

Kihlblom’s tenure could be a short one, with new general elections expected in September 2022.

We can always hope!

Outcry forces EU to ditch plan for ‘inclusive’ language

The European Commission has walked back an attempt to mandate the use of “inclusive” language after lawmakers claimed the new rules were an effort to “cancel” Christian references and lacked “common sense.”

An internal guidebook for inclusive communication called on EU officials to “update their language” and avoid phrasing that was considered not reflective of the “diversity of European culture.” The new guide encouraged the use of gender-neutral language and non-Christian names, among other things.

In a statement on Tuesday, EU Equality Commissioner Helena Dalli noted that the guidebook was not a “mature document” and acknowledged that it “does not meet all Commission quality standards.” She tweeted that the document was a “work in progress” and said an “updated version of the guidelines” would address the concerns that had been raised regarding examples of discouraged language.

Withdrawing the document, Dalli added that the “version of the guidelines published” does not “adequately serve” its purpose of showcasing the Commission’s “inclusive nature” with relation to gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnic backgrounds and culture.

While Brussels officials have previously been given “reminders” to watch their language, this is thought to be the first time an actual rule book was issued. According to The Telegraph, staff were told to be “sensitive to ... different religious traditions” and not “presume” someone’s sexual orientation and gender identity.

Some European politicians criticized the guide as an attempt to eradicate Christian references, citing recommendations to avoid “assuming that everyone is Christian” and the suggestion to use non-biblical first names – such as “Malika and Julio” instead of “Maria and John” – as examples in stories and publications. Some lawmakers and media outlets interpreted this to be an outright ban on the common Christian names.

“The EU Commission should be defending our values not trying to change our identity. Efforts to limit references to the word Christmas and Christian names is both bizarre and disappointing,” Maltese MEP David Casa tweeted. He later called Dalli’s retraction a victory for “common sense.”

Other recommendations in the guidebook included replacing gendered words such as “man-made” and “ladies and gentlemen” with the neutral phrases “human-induced” and “dear colleagues.” Similarly, it would have frowned on the use of “default” masculine terms as “workmen,” and the use of traditional binary pronouns “he” and “she” should someone prefer “they” or “Mx.”
