Southern California Pervert Arrested for Child Sex Abuse of 3 Small Children

A 21-year-old Banning man has been charged with the sexual abuse of three children – a 5-year-old girl, a 6-year-old boy and a 9-year-old boy, according to sheriff's officials and court records.

David Joseph Goodman of Banning, CA
David Joseph Goodman has pleaded not guilty to six felonies: three counts of lewd acts with a child; a count of sexual penetration; a count of sex or sodomy with a child under 10; and a count of sending harmful material to a minor, court records show.

The case began Friday, Dec. 19, after deputies received a report of a man — later identified as Goodman — pleasuring himself in the presence of children in Yukaipa, according to a San Bernardino County sheriff's news release.

Detectives with the Crimes Against Children Detail followed up on the case and found that Goodman has sexually assaulted three children that day — and that the children had been previously abused, the release said.

Goodman was arrested early Saturday and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga in lieu of $250,000 bail, jail logs show.

Goodman has worked at Disneyland since August, in what capacity is not known at this time.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Detective Jennifer Burkhart at 909-357-3615.
