'Alleged' rape, the headline reads. I guess that means the 4 children she had by her stepfather are 'alleged' children

ACCOMACK, Virginia — The mother of a woman who said her stepfather and mother abused her for years has been indicted for rape.
Ruth Ann Johnson, 58, of Sulphur, Lousiana, was arrested June 26 after an Accomack County grand jury indicted her June 1 on charges of rape, indecent liberties and child endangerment in connection with incidents dating to summer 1986.
The indictment names Johnson as an accessory before the fact in sexual crimes allegedly committed by her then-husband, Khalil Mohammed Muslimani, against her daughter, who was younger than 13 at the time.
The two later divorced. I wonder what she divorced him over? What would be worse than impregnating your daughter 4 times and raping her from the age of four?

USA TODAY and The Daily Times do not identify victims of sexual crimes, but Spione wanted her name used when she told her story in December.
Spione said Muslimani impregnated her at age 11 and she later gave birth to four of his children. She also said she continues to be treated for post-traumatic stress disorder because of the abuse, which started when she was 4.
Muslimani, 68, of Onancock, Virginia, also was indicted in June on a total of seven counts of rape, forcible sodomy, carnal knowledge and child endangerment in cases involving Spione and another underage victim. He was arrested June 30 and remains in jail without bond.

Johnson has been a Louisiana resident since 1991 and is disabled, according to documents filed in the case.
On Thursday, an Accomack County judge signed an order setting $25,000 bond for Johnson. She was released on bond Saturday.
Johnson and Muslimani also face charges in Maryland related to alleged sexual offenses.
